Tristan and Pikachu's ultimate goal is to earn the eight badges he needs to qualify for the Johto League while Hillary participates in various tournaments to gain experience. Meanwhile, a small Lugia befriends Tristan. His compassion allows it to grow big and strong, and in the process, learn about the world around it.
