The Great War was a harrowing conflict following decades of tension between the Four Kingdoms. As a sign of peace, and a reminder of the brutality and tragedy that the War had wrought upon Remnant, the Kingdoms worked together to set up the first Huntsman Academy. Years have passed since, and Jasper Merlot has been roped into joining Beacon, and its famed Four Houses system.

Ruby had an uncle on her mother's side. With Summer having vanished several years before, he was the only thing that connected them together. However, something is coming that has the potential to flip Remnant on it's head. A kingdom over 500,000 years old, destroyed long ago is rising once more, and Ruby's other uncle, Vara Rose heir to the throne, may have a way to end Salem.
