This is an AU of my story 'Familiar Blood' with Ezra being born as Sabine's twin sister instead of being turned into her sister by an Inquisitor and has the name Satele Wren instead of Ezra Wren.

After the battle over Mustafar, the Ghost crew joins the rebel cell known as 'Phoenix Squadron'. Ezra and Jaral now find themselves involved into the bigger fight against the Empire, as they both struggle to find their place in the larger rebellion as they also have to find a balance between their new duties and their personal relationships.

With Kanan wounded and stuck in an imperial run hospital Ezra's forced to spin a disturbingly plausible account to convince a nosy imperial he's the man's son. After the mission is over he can't help but wonder if he isn't the only one who's ever wished "cover stories" were more than just stories.
