This is a sequel to my first story; Brothers by Blood. Westeros is flourishing under the Young Wolf, but a threat in the north brings to light a darker, older, threat that will shake Westeros to its core. Jon and Robb are on opposite ends of the world and must work against the clock to make sure that Westeros is prepared to defend against its ancient enemy.

what would have happened if some characters asked the a few more questions, and some characters where a little more active before the plot began? if Eddard stark asked the kingslayer why he killed the mad king? if Robert thought about how important Stannis role was during the rebellion? if the North and Dorne were a little more active? what would have happened differently?
