Disclaimer
So I am going to write this down once, so I don't have to keep repeating myself. Obviously anything you recognize doesn't belong to me.
Harry Potter belongs to Joanne Rowling. I love you Rowling, you are absolutely brilliant.
Avengers belongs to the Marvel Universe. You guys are also awesome.
This story is a continuation of The Horseman by Storsone, so the original story which is the first two chapters, might change a bit of the wording and all, is his.
Hope you enjoy!
Prologue
Harry James Potter found himself back at the clean and white Kings Cross for the second time. He had finally defeated Voldemort and all his Death Eaters. He took up the mantle of Lord Potter-Black and changed the Wizarding World of Great Britain for the betterment of everyone who every thought of living there. Half-bloods, Muggle born, Vampires, Werewolves, Veela, Goblins, hell blood didn't matter anymore and neither did your species.
He turned around to see a woman with a beautiful face wearing a deep black cloak that seemed to suck in the light and holding a scythe. She has such kissable lips that were blood red, and luxurious black hair that was covered by her hood. Harry was interrupted by his musing by a soft yet firm voice.
"Thank you Master, but would you please focus." She said.
"Master?" Harry's eye widened when he realized who he was talking to. "You're Death." He stated, but then he raised an eyebrow. "Bit cliché with the scythe and the black hood though." He answered amused.
"You can see my true form later." She replied back with a voice with a hint of warning.
Harry decided to not to push his luck. "Right so what now?"
"Do you accept your mantle as the Master of Death, to be a keeper of balance?" Death stated firmly. "This road comes with a lot of very painful training: physical, intellectual and magical. There is no backing out. Do you understand?'
"I do." Harry replied firmly, he had spent the last how long talking to his family and friends. He knew what he had to do. "I accept."
"Very well Master. Let's get started."
The Horseman
Also known as: The Angel of Death, The Horseman of Death and Death's left hand.
Known Aliases: Mr. Black
Background:
The Horseman appeared for the first time in 2001, riding a custom motorcycle through Europe and struck at several terrorist cells hours or minutes before agents arrived at the scene. Dismantling terrorist cells and the more volatile crime syndicates, one cell or area at a time, he is considered highly trained, and very dangerous. Mr. Black has helped secure the world for the past decade and has resisted all attempts at bringing him in.
Attempts at bringing him in:
The long list of failed attempts at subduing the man includes agents such as Drew, Barton, Hill and Romanoff to name a few. The STRIKE team that was sent was neutralized without ever spotting the man. He appears to go easier on the female agents.
Several agents of different ranks have made their own attempts at the Horseman only to receive minor injuries and bruised egos. Leaving behind only a handcrafted tarot card of a grinning reaper on a motorcycle with the words 'I ride with Death at my back' at the scene. There is no pattern to where he will strike next nor can SHIELD anticipate when he will strike. Agent Romanoff was the first agent that refused a second attempt at subduing the man, the first name on a list of the highest ranked SHIELD agents that has only grown since her initial refusal.
Review:
Independent. Highly trained and dangerous, he appears to share the same ambition as SHIELD. Believed to be a possible fit for the Avengers Initiative, if he can be brought in.
Theory is that the man is either an enhance, or a group of men wearing identical costumes to strike at terrorist cells on different parts of the globe with only hours apart.
The man will go to amazing lengths to prevent innocents from being harmed but seems to have a weak spot for women and children. Rare survivors left behind deliberately for SHIELD to find has revealed that anyone found harming children will suffer horrible pain before death. The less said about the terror he unleashes on rapists the better.
Director Nickolas Joseph Fury stared down at the file in his hands labeled The Horseman which a deep scowl. That very same file was super thin which turns out to really annoy the Director. For it does make him and his organization look like a bunch of amateurs.
As he opens the file, he stares at the handmade tarot card pinned to the top. One of the many cards that were left behind wherever he went. Fury would pay a lot of money so he could join his response team, the Horseman seems to be a very invaluable asset, and someone he needs right now so he could help deal with Loki and get back the tesseract. Afterall, they are now at war with an Asgardian God.
AN:
This is a pretty small chapter, but I mean it is a prologue, hopefully the following chapters will be much bigger.
I know it has been a while since I have last written. Companies started to let people off work, and my dad was one of those, so we had to relocate back home, so that was hectic. Also had to do my AS and AL 'exams' when I got back which was mentally abusive. So I've finally got some down time to write again, you should see some updates for Lord Creatos: The Reality of Olympus. That is a Harry Potter and Wonder Woman Crossover. I will hopefully be going to university in September, going to do medicine, so wish me luck.
Thanks to all of you who have read my story, do comment and review, tell me what you think. If you don't like anything then don't read, I can't be asked to deal with anyone dissing my stories, ain't got time for you. So Don't Like, Don't Read.
