I do not own either Monster Girl Quest or Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Prologue: The End(?)

The Atlantic Ocean was calm on the night of February 7th, 1889. No storms had formed over the vast oceanic expanse, fishermen had arrived home safe and sound with their catches and now lay fast asleep, and the moonlight shined off the small waves that curved ever so peacefully in the water. Overall, it seemed like just another pleasant night. But that wasn't the case for one ship, and its few surviving passengers aboard.

This ship in question had exploded just moments ago after it's pistons were clogged by the corpse of a rather violent and undead stowaway. A majority of the crew and passengers were already dead, having been eaten alive by zombies, some being unfortunate enough to have joined their ranks, only three passengers remained, yet that number was soon going to be two.

Jonathan sat within the burning inferno, his throat having been shot, giving him a slow death. He spent what little time he had left reminiscing on his relationship with his adopted brother, Dio, whose head was cradled in his lap, but was still very much alive. Jonathan, Jojo to those closest, had lived a rather tragic life. Having lost his mother in a carriage accident when he was only an infant, he only had his father and servants raise him. Then Dio came and made it his goal to make young Jojo's life a living hell. Scaring away Erina and killing his beloved pooch Danny when they were only 12. Seven years later, Dio killed Jojo's father and used his blood to then become a vampire. Though with the help of William Zepplie, and his best friend Speedwagon, Jonathan was able to slay Dio and rid the world of his evil. Or so he thought.

Jonathan's breathing slowed and his vision started getting increasingly blurry. He knew his time was almost up. When he looked up past the fire, he saw Erina, now his wife, holding a baby they saved.

And what did he do next?

Smiled

Why wouldn't he? He was surrounded by those close to him, even Dio, who after all the pain and suffering he wrought, was still a brother to Jojo.

And with a gentle, soft voice. He said to his wife:

"Fare…...welll….Erina"

The fire erupted higher, blocking the woman's view of Jojo and forcing her to retreat with the baby to the safety of Dio's coffin, which he said himself that it could survive the ship's destruction.

Dio on the other hand, was all but calm, now trapped in Jonathan's lap, he hardly had the strength to save himself, so he took to bargaining with the gentlemen whom he grew up with.

"Let me go, Jojo! Release me, think about it. You'd like a shot at immortality, right? I can heal your wounds! You can live forever with Erina, Jojo!"

No response came

Dio's face turned to that of shock as he called out again

"Jojo"

Still no response, Jonathan continued to look forward with that same smile, the tears in his eyes made them look like they were glass.

"He's…...He's…"

With a voice that trembled with fear and shock, he mustered up the courage to fill the silence.

"He's Dead."

Jonathan's head slumped forward, with his eyes now closed, his lifeless body now embraced Dio in a hug as the fires cracked and hissed.

On February 7th, 1889, at only 20 years old

Jonathan Joestar was dead.

The next morning, the ship had sunken below the depths of the Atlantic, never to be seen by the light of day again.

The only thing aboard that boat that escaped, if only for a short while before it too sunk, was a coffin.

Erina opened the lid and took in a fresh breath of air, both she and the baby had survived. For a moment she stared off into the sunrise, the baby held close to her chest, and was silent.

Afterwards, she then laid back down in the coffin, waiting for them to reach the shore and be done with the horrors of the previous night.

Little did she know, that this was just the beginning of a bigger and more bizarre adventure yet come, spanning generations long after her own death.

Jonathan opened his eyes, and at first it was all dark.

He already knew he was dead, but still didn't understand where he was at the moment

"This must be the afterlife, but where is everyone?"

He tried calling out, but no words left his mouth.

"Is this it? Is the afterlife just nothing?"

"Fear not Jojo, this isn't the end yet."

Jojo's voice soon returned when he audibly gasped when another voice echoed in his head.

"Guh? Who was that? Is anyone there? HELLO?"

Jojo called out into the abyss.

But he got not answer.

The voice sounded feminine, with a calm tone.

Jonathan's thoughts were interrupted by a bright light flashing above him.

It shone brighter than the sun itself, and soon, Jojo felt himself walk up towards it, as if he were going up a set of stairs.

Within the span of 10 seconds, Jonathan was now going full sprint up the invisible steps, calling out to his departed friends and family.

"Zepplie, Father, Mother, I'm coming!"

"Jonathan"

Jojo's eyes watered and felt warm drops slide down his cheeks as he heard the new voice call from above, a male's voice that he instantly recognized.

"FATHER, FATHER!"

Jonathan's lungs were starting to burn despite him already being dead and not needing sustenance any longer.

Shortly after, Jonathan was a few feet away from the light, and there he saw three figures.

First was his father, no longer was he sick from Dio's poison, or bleeding out, but looked better than he'd ever seen him before.

And beside him was a dog he's never forgotten, Danny.

And beside them, was his dearest mother that he'd never truly known, but missed nevertheless.

George Joestar extended a hand out towards Jonathan from within the light.

"Jojo, my son. We've been waiting for you, though sad as it is you came so soon, I'm happy all the same."

"D-D-Dad….M-M-Mom…..Danny!"

Jojo was now a sobbing mess, feeling the light's warmth, like a lit fireplace during the holidays.

Danny joyfully barked as he saw his old master again for the first time in seven years.

Then, Mary Joestar spoke.

"Jonathan, it is time for you to come home with us, up here in heaven for eternity. Come to us."

Having almost lost his mind to the joy, Jonathan took a step towards the welcoming light.

Only to be bounced back, landing flat on his rear, he tried again, but with the same result as last time.

Joy turned to fear as Jonathan placed his hands on the wall and pounded against the invisible barrier.

"Father, what's going on? I can't get through?"

Danny began barking and whimpering as the other two soon raced to the barrier, finding that they too could not pass through it.

"I do not understand what's happening, help will come soon, please be calm."

"Father, was I not good enough?"

"Don't say that Jojo, you were excellent. You wouldn't have made it this far to the light if you hadn't."

"But then why-"

"I do apologize for this inconvenience, but you cannot go just yet."

The feminine voice from before spoke once again, this time out loud for the family to hear.

"Who was that? Show yourself demon!" George called out.

Soon, Mary's eyes went wide as she screamed at something behind Jonathan.

"LEAVE MY SON ALONE YOU WITCH!"

George saw it too, and called out to his son in terror.

"JOJO, GET AWAY FROM THE STEPS!"

But it was too late, before Jonathan could eve turn around, he felt something scaly and smooth wrap around his body from behind.

"Mr and Mrs Joestar, I must borrow your son for a bit, I cannot tell you much, but it is for the safety of not only my people, but my world too."

Johnathan's parents screamed as Jonathan was then dragged off back into the abyss, the light growing smaller and smaller until it was only a speck.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Jonathan instinctively began to use his hamon, which to his surprise still worked.

And he then began to struggle as he felt the world around him and his captor begin to spin and glow with an eerie blue glow

"LET GO OF ME, LET ME GO NOW!"

Jojo soon felt his anger rise as he began to move.

"Please hold still, we have almost reached our destination Jojo."

"DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME THAT, YOU AREN'T A FRIEND, AND I WILL NOT GO WITH YOU!"

"Too late for that, we just arrived".

The voice said as Jojo finally broke free and turned to face his captors

From her silhouette, he confirmed that whoever they were, they weren't human.

She seemed to have a humanoid body and what looked like the lower body of a snake, and it was very long. Her hair was also long, though not as long as her tail. And antlers grew from her head.

Her eyes shined white as their surroundings spun faster.

"Who are you, and where have you taken me?"

"I cannot reveal my identity to your just yet Jonathan, SHE may be listening in, and if SHE knew what I was doing, then the worst would surly come to pass. What I can tell you is that we're far from your home, my home."

"She? Who is she? And why do your plans involve me? I want no part of whatever it is your planning!" Jonathan said, his voice filled with resolve towards the end.

"I'm afraid that you no longer have any choice in the matter, fear not Jojo, I will watch over you on your new journey. And this is where we depart for now, goodbye Jonathan, we will speak again soon."

The woman snapped her fingers, and Jonathan began falling. He screamed as the spinning background spun faster, and faster, and faster.

Before it all went dark.
