Author note: New story I would be updating if it keeps being interesting. Is a kinda self insert but its honestly just what either I or a person I know would do. Yeah dum story concept cuz ya know... kinda sorta wish fulfillment.
What the-?
You've seen it before, young teenage boy who watches anime gets hit by a truck and FUCKING DIES. You don't need to know his name.
He opens his eyes and the cries of a baby pierced the air, "It's a boy"
'Wow great, I've been reincarnated. I wonder which world I am in!' he said excitedly.
"What will we name him dear?" my mother asked
"Cardin, Cardin Winchester"
'Huh that sounds- wait a moment' the boy cried. He knew he was in RWBY.
'Heup!' Cardin grunte as he swung down his mace on a training dummy.
"Good swing, Cardin. Though you could lower your center a little bit more"
Cardin nodded, "Alright"
It had been a long time since he was born, fifteen years in fact. Cardin has been working non-stop ever since then, he had memories from his previous life and was putting in as much effort as he could to not die.
Cardin wiped sweat from his brow with his towel after a break. His instructor bid him farewell. Cardin didn't know why the boy in the show wasn't strong, from what he could see. His father was set to have him become a huntsman, they were...eerily supportive.
They even hired a veteran huntsman to train him. It was no surprise that they were well off, Cardin expected as much but that just made him even more perplexed. 'If the Cardin from the show was this well off then why is he so weak?'
He entered the house, well that was an understatement. He entered a mansion, white, grey, red and yellow adorned the walls and it was honestly beautiful.
He walked up the stairs "I swear to god, it's been fifteen years and I'm still not used to this"
To be honest it was completely acceptable, the boy in his past life lived a normal life. He went to school using public transport, paid for his meals in the cafeteria, barely had enough money to buy stuff with friends and ate home-made dinner from his mom. But now he can just ring a bell and he could eat anything he wanted, a fried turkey? Easy! Ice Cream? No problem. If he wanted money, he could send his dad a text and then suddenly he gets the exact amount he wanted.
The Winchester family was one of the most high-class families, and for some reason he was the heir. He entered his luxurious room and took a shower, he put on jeans and a shirt that had lettering at the back which said 'Work Hard'
He headed to eat dinner with his father and mother. He sat at the dinner table "Hey mom, hey dad"
"Cardin" His father talked to him "Do you have training tomorrow?"
Cardin swallowed his food "Nope, Instructor Nicholas said he had something coming up"
His father smiled "Yes, he does. You are coming with me and your mother tomorrow, we have a party to attend"
Cardin frowned "But dad-"
His father waved his hand "Son, you are the heir to my business. You have to make an appearance at some point. Plus there should be girls your age there maybe we could-"
The table and plates shook and my mother, she had long black hair and a crooked smile. Cardin could see the aura emanating from his mother. "Dean, we agreed to let him choose right?"
With a bead of sweat coming down from his temple "W-well, you know... He could be intere-"
"Hmph, suit yourself" Miss Winchester huffed.
"Christine, I'm sorry" His dad cried
Cardin laughed, his parents were a riot. "Alright dad, I'll make an appearance but I don't plan on finding a date"
Christine smiled "that's my boy"
After the dinner, he bid good night to his parents and laid on his bed. "So far this life is wonderful, everything comes easy I wonder how Cardin became like he was"
The next day, they were on their way to the party hosted by The Schnee Company. "I wonder if I'll see Weiss" Cardin wondered out loud.
"Miss Schnee will be there, I assure you. Maybe you could even chat with her" Dean Winchester joked while sending a glance at his wife to make sure she doesn't murder him.
"Sure dad, if I get the chance. Oh it looks like we're here"
On the T.V. overhead, Cardin saw Lisa Lavender, a reported "And finally after all the rumors, the Winchester Family, known for their metallurgy and widespread production are here with their heir for the first time."
His father exited when the bodyguard opened the door. Next was his mother and lastly him. It was like watching fireworks, the amount of flashes, he covered his eyes so it could adjust.
Reporter after reported snapped shot after shot as he walked with his parents. It was his first time walking down a red carpet in either of his lives but he tried to walk as naturally and with finesse as he could.
At the entrance, there was Lisa Lavender. His father stopped and talked with the reporter. "So! Dean Winchester, Owner and CEO of Winchester Enterprises. How are you feeling about going to another party after refusing invitations for a year"
His father smiled his business smile "Well, I was at home training Cardin to be business minded while also spending some time. But I am grateful to all those other invitations"
Lisa's eyes twinkled "Is it alright if I get a few words with the heir?"
Dean looked toward his son, Cardin shrugged "Why not?"
Lisa walked closer "Cardin Winchester, how do you feel about your first time going to a high class party?"
"Honestly, I'm a bit nervous but I'm happy to be here and its quite exciting seeing so many beautiful people, you included" Cardin winked but in his mind he was shaking 'OH YOU STUPID! DUMB! ARGHH' Lisa giggled "Quite the charmer! You hear that ladies? Well last question, Do you see yourself ready to take on your family business?"
Cardin shook his head "No, unfortunately. I have a lot more to learn from dad and I plan on becoming a huntsman first"
"A huntsman? Isn't it a bit dangerous for an heir to go out there and fight monsters?" she asked
Cardin nodded "I agree it's dangerous but I want to help people myself with my own skill not only by my family's wealth"
The mini interview finished and Cardin joined his parents. "Cardin honey, we have to leave you for a bit. We contacted your instructor Nicholas and asked him to lead you to the area where the kids your age are" His mother said.
He nodded "Alright"
Around fifteen minutes after his parents left Cardin's instructor, Nicholas came up to him. "Cardin, your parents called me up to escort you to with the young'uns"
"I'm fifteen and I don't need an escort but thanks"
A blonde little girl peeked behind Nicholas' leg. "Daddy? Who's this?"
Nicholas looked down but the girl was swept by an older girl "Lidia, come on Jaune just went to the bathroom and now you're over here"
"Sorry Violet" the little girl frowned
Cardin pointed at the girl who responded "Rude"
"Oh sorry" Cardin replied apologetically "I just-"
"Violet, this is Cardin. The boy I've been training"
Cardin apologized "Apologies for pointing at you"
Violet smiled "Nice to meet you Cardin. I'm sorry as well"
"Violet! Lidia!- You huff" a boy with blonde hair huffed. He wore a white tuxedo and fitting pants.
"Jaune!" Violet and Lidia ran toward him. Cardin was ecstatic, he knew this man but he couldn't let it show on his face.
Jaune rubbed his neck "Hey dad"
Nicholas sighed "It's alright Jaune, this is my student. Cardin"
Cardin smiled "Nice to meet you"
Jaune extended his hand and Cardin took it. "Nice to meet you too"
"Dad, we're gonna go back first" Jaune said as he hurriedly took his sisters.
"Alright, take care"
Cardin walked with Nicholas a little bit "Why does it seem like your son didn't want to be with you?"
Nicholas shook his head "Jaune... well, he's a good boy but I'm sure he doesn't want to see you or me right now"
Cardin knew why, Nicholas didn't train the young Arc. He just realized it now, and felt bad. He was going to speak with the young Arc later.
Nicholas bid him farewell and Cardin walked around the venue, other fifteen to sixteen year olds were in the room. Most socializing and others minding their business.
A young man approached Cardin, he had orange hair and a couple of piercings he was followed by a bunch of other young men. "You must be Cardin Winchester"
"You are?" the boy wasn't familiar, he's never seen him in the show.
"Victor Sunrise, my dad owns Sunrise Tech" he sent a devilish smile "Me and my guys over here wanted to uh, go somewhere for a little bit and we thought it'd be nice to have you over"
They seemed kind of nice, it had been a while since Cardin had developed interpersonal relationships he needed a bit of practice.
They went past the venue to the garden where no reporters were, not many guards and the only people there were those who hung around the entrance.
As they got far enough from the main party, They stopped and met up with other kids, Victor turned to Cardin and gave him a pill "Here's a gift"
Cardin refused "Sorry, I can't "
"Oh don't be such a killjoy, let's live it up a little" Victor said.
'Now I get why Cardin became who he was' He stuck with a bad crowd, and as a result became a bad person for it.
But he shrugged and took it "Alright" while Victor wasn't looking he threw it away.
The other boys were the rich types like Victor, expensive watches and designer clothes. Victor came upon them "You guys got her?"
"Yeah" one boy said as he led them deeper into the garden.
Cardin followed and what he saw was terrible, it was a faunus girl with deer antlers. She wore normal clothing and was just starting to wake up. The boys snickered, "So who's gonna do her first? She's a filthy faunus but it doesn't really matter does it?"
Victor grinned "Of course, I say we give her to Cardin over here as a sign of goodwill"
In his mind Cardin recoiled, 'Disgusting' but he found an opportunity. Cardin gave the most wicked smile he could "Oh hell yeah, thanks a lot"
Victor grabbed the girl by the antlers and handed her to him like she was a package. Cardin accepted and put the girl on his shoulder. "-Now boys, if you excuse me"
The guys laughed and left. "I am never, EVER associating with those boys again"
Cardin walked to the left of the massive garden and found a small gate. Just in time to, the faunus girl was waking up. Her eyes widened and she started struggling but the binds and the gag made it difficult.
Cardin placed her down "Relax, I'm not going to hurt you. So please don't shout or like kick my ass when I remove your bindings.
He removed the binding first and was going to remove the gag but she stopped him and removed them herself.
"Who are you?" the girl asked still apprehensive
Cardin put his hands up "Cardin Winchester, just a rich kid who thought doing you while you were asleep was wrong"
The girl glared "Don't you rich types discriminate against faunus?"
"Not me, I could care less"
The girl relaxed "Alright, what do you want in turn?"
As a reply Cardin went over to the gate "I honestly just wanted to help"
The girl exited "If we ever meet again, I owe you one"
"Yeah, I'll remember that"
The deer girl left the area and Cardin went back to the party.
