The Beginning
A young couple in love was huddled inside a convertible car, the boy had the girl surrounded with one of his arms while they enjoyed the beauty that the starry sky had to offer.
The young man taking advantage of the situation a bit, looked in love at his girlfriend, who realized this also started at him.
"You look beautiful; the moonlight highlights your beautiful smile. " - At that bold comment, the girl blushed.
"Oh Nathan, you are so romantic. "
"I feel like this with you. " - The chic began to bring his face closer to that of his girlfriend and she imitated him, her eyes closed ready to give herself an unparalleled display of affection.
But the couple's plans were interrupted when a flaming sphere fell from the sky.
The convertible they were in shook with force after the impact of the object, they had to hold on as best they could to not lose their balance.
The leaves of the trees shook with force as the impact wave reached them, causing some to fall.
" Nathan, what was that? " - The young woman asked surprised and scared.
The young man did not know what to answer and simply got out of the car wanting to investigate what happened.
His girlfriend, although scared, did not want to stay alone in that place so far from the city so she went after him.
A column of smoke could easily be seen over the trees and the young man did not hesitate to follow it, his instinct for adventure sent him to discover what had happened, but sometimes curiosity can be bad.
The couple in love did not take long to reach the impact site, a crater had formed in the place, drastically changing the landscape, the trees had been uprooted and many others were simply torn apart by the impact.
The young man had expected some kind of meteorite, but instead, a disk was there, it was no bigger than a car and it glowed unnaturally.
"What do you think it is?" The young woman asked with a certain drink, her boyfriend on the other hand began to approach. " Nathan, what are you doing?" She exclaimed worriedly.
"Mandy, a spaceship just crashed here, do you have any idea how famous we could get? " - He asked excitedly.
The young woman, doubtful, but at the same time curious to be in front of a flying saucer, began to approach her boyfriend, who was already touching the strange object.
"Look, it's not hot. " - The boy supported without hesitation his whole hand on the strange space object.
"Nathan, don't touch that! " - Shouted his girlfriend scared. - "We-We should call the police or the government! " -
"Quiet, we'll just take some pictures and we'll go. " - answered.
At that precise moment, the upper part of the spaceship let out a hiss, scaring the couple, the boy did not hesitate to move away and stand in front of his girlfriend to protect her.
It was then that a monstrous hand emerged, grotesque and with seven, no! Eight fingers, and then another came out, and another and another and ...
"Boring! " - A girl with black hair with golden highlights complained while removing the film.
"Oh, come on! They were getting to the part where the alien appeared! " - complained another, this time, unlike the first, the girl had black and white hair and strangely green skin.
"Frankie is right Cleo, I want to see the alien monster. " - The first girl turned to see the one who had just spoken, this one had her hair tied in a bun with two pencils stuck there, her face was covered by a green paste and she did not seem very happy about what her friend had done. - "What do you think Draculaura? " -
"I-I'm s-agree with Frankie. " - A small girl with almost white pink skin answered fearfully, she had her hair tied in a ponytail and was holding tightly a pillow that looked like a big furry monster.
"Please, you weren't even looking. " - Cleo pointed out, quite disappointed. - "Besides, in case you haven't already noticed, we're all monsters here, shouldn't this be offensive or something? " -
"Well, I think so. " - Clawdeen replied, standing up and going over to the video player to remove the CD. " But I have to admit that humans know how to make good space monster movies."
"Please, the only thing they're good at is being annoying. " - Cleo answered as she went to the bed and dropped into it.
"Come on Cleo, don't be a spoilsport, we said we'd see that movie tonight. " - Frankie, who had stood up shortly after Clawdeen, turned on the light, revealing that they were all in a room decorated with a rather electrifying theme. - "Draculaura even paid to rent this DVD. " -
"Although we were able to download it from the monster web. " - Clawdeen pointed out with amusement.
"Clawdeen hacking is wrong. " - Draculaura scolded, but was openly ignored by her friend. - "I'm relieved not to have to see that monster. " -
"Fiiiiine. " Clawdeen sat down defeated and took some snacks that were next to the television. - "We won't watch the great space monster movie, what do we do now? " -
"We could talk about how great and perfect I am. " - suggested Cleo from the bed, the girl made a dramatic pose as if she were the queen of the world, but her friends just gave her flat looks. -"What? It never hurts to praise me. " -
"Any ideas? " - Cleo raised her hand. - "That is not praising yourself. " -
"We can go to the garden of my house. " - suggested Frankie. - "My parents won't be back until morning, we could stay there all night and look at the stars. " -
"With all those mosquitoes and vermin? " - Cleo asked, disgusted, but was ignored, again,
"Sounds great! " - Draculaura exclaimed.
"Yeah, just let me get this thing off my face and let's go! " exclaimed Clawdeen.
As they had agreed, the girls collected all the snacks and without wasting time they left their friend's house, the night was clear and the stars could be perfectly seen accompanied by a beautiful crescent moon.
Frankie's backyard wasn`t exactly big, but it was adorned with some finely manicured plants and cluster of flowers, there was a fence bordering the area and beyond the garden there was only forest.
The four young lady's brought some chairs so they could sit and enjoy the show.
" Okay, I'll be the first to admit this. " - Cleo looked at the sky with a smile, seeing the natural beauty of the cosmos filled her heart. - "This is not so bad. " -
"You see? " - Frankie handed her friend a can of soda and she gladly accepted.
"It's so beautiful". - Draculaura commented without taking his eyes off the stars. - "I've never seen so many. " -
"It's the good thing about living in the remote part of the city. " - Frankie said. - "I see them every night before I sleep. " -
"Well, it seems that we will have to come every night for this. " - Clawdeen spread her arms pointing to the sky.
They nodded in agreement with their friend, Frankie had a small smile, it felt so good to be with her friends at times like that, she wished they would never end.
" Hey, do you think there is something else up there? " - he asked Clawdeen while eating some fries. - "You know, like in the movie. " -
"You mean grotesque brain-eating aliens?" Draculaura asked uncomfortably, making the girl with wolf ears laugh.
"No, silly, I mean… you know, anything, maybe other monsters. "
"Monsters from space? "- asked Cleo. - "Well, my people have a legend, to talk about "the beings above."
"Well, if that's not a clue, I don't know what is. " - Frankie commented. - "Maybe if there are monsters there, and maybe they also look for a home, a place to belong, like us in Monster High. "
"And they must have clothes we 've never seen! " - exclaimed excited Clawdeen.
"And unique makeup! Maybe made with space rock dust or something! " - Draculaura continued.
"And hundreds of stores in which to spend money". - Cleo finished.
The girls could only laugh at that idea.
"Do you think we will ever meet an alien? " Asked Frankie in a dreamy voice.
"Well, as long as they don't want to eat my brain, we'll be in perfectly fine. " Clawdeen replied.
" Hey, look! A shooting star. " - Draculaura pointed excitedly towards the night sky. - "Quick, let's make a wish! " -
The four girls closed their eyes and made their own wishes, each one wishing what they most wanted in this life, some like Frankie wished something more ephemeral, she wished their friendship would last forever, Cleo instead wished new dresses, Draculaura wished he could do something for her people and Clawdeen wishes she could fulfill her dream of being a fashion designer.
With their eyes closed, neither saw how the supposed shooting star was heading towards the forest near Frankie's house.
Even with her eyes closed, Clawdeen for some reason felt something strange, one of her ears had caught a sound, similar to that of an airplane, she opened her eyes trying to discover what was happening, her heart jumped when she saw how that shooting star was flying directly towards them or rather the nearby forest.
" Ehm, girls. "
" Shu, making a wish. " - Cleo answered.
"You should open your eyes. " - she insisted.
"Clawdeen, we must keep our eyes closed for the wish to be fulfilled. " - This time it was Draculaura who answered.
"I do not believe that our wishes are going to be fulfilled unless someone has wished that the shooting star fell to earth. "
" what? " - Asked her confused friends as they opened their eyes.
Clawdeen pointed to the sky, confused, her friends looked up, together in time to see how the star fell in the forest.
Seconds later a stream of wind shook the trees in the garden.
Neither said anything for several seconds, they looked at each other not knowing what to do, until Clawdeen stood up and headed for the fence with every intention of jumping over it.
"What are you doing?" Cleo asked confused when she saw her friend.
"A shooting star just crashed right in front of us, and I'll say no curiosity about it? " - she replied to then jump the fence. - "What are you waiting for? Let's go! "
Cleo, Frankie, and Draculaura looked at each other and quickly went after their friend.
Neither had any idea that things were going to change soon.
The four girls did not take long to find the impact site, a large clearing had formed in the place and in the center of everything and with some flames of a strangely green color, there was what seemed to be a kind of very advanced ship.
"This… no… could… be," Cleo stammered as she stared wide-eyed at the object.
Overcome by her curiosity, Clawdeen went ahead of her friends and without hesitation walked carefully towards the ship.
"Clawdeen! What are you doing? " - he asked Frankie concerned.
"It's a damn spaceship! " - she replied with a very excited smile. - "This is incredible! "
"I don't like this. " - Draculaura, remembering the movie they were watching earlier, hid behind Cleo, who gave her a bad look for using her as a shield. - "W- Wouldn't it be better to go and I don't know, call the police? "
"I don't think she's listening. " - Cleo commented crossing her arms when she saw how Clawdeen was already in the ship and was looking at everything carefully.
Frankie, concerned about whatever was inside that thing, started walking toward Clawdeen, hoping to bring her back.
"This thing is amazing! "- The wolf girl exclaimed as she inspected everything. - "It's like in that movie! It's just not a flying saucer" -
"Clawdeen, we have to go now, we don't know what this thing is. " - Frankie implored, but her friend was too excited to listening.
Draculaura and Cleo, who were still on the edge of the impact zone, were getting impatient, Draculaura especially, she was still very scared because of the movie, which seemed to be coming true.
"What are those two doing?! " - Cleo complained. - "Draculaura, come on, we have to bring Clawdeen back." -
"B-But what about the brain-eating alien? " - she asked scared, making Cleo roll her eyes annoyed.
"Draculaura, just listen to yourself, that's ridiculous, it's possible that… thing! It should just be a satellite or something like that. "
"Are you sure? "
"Aha, now, adjust those pretty fangs and let's go find our friends. "
The girl nodded, although with some uncertainty.
Frankie, who was very patient usually was starting to get tired of the attitude that had her friend cope with this situation, although she was also very curious about all this, the best thing would be to call the authorities and that they are responsible.
Clawdeen then jumped to the top of the ship and began inspecting it.
"Clawdeen, get off that! We don't even know if it has radiation or something! " - Frankie scolded very worried.
"It's fine, I don't smell anything strange, just metal. " - she answered while pointing to her nose. - "My nose never lies. " -
The Frankenstein girl could only sigh at that, clearly her dear friend was not about to let go of her curiosity.
"Well, we'll look a little more and then we'll call the police."
"You are the boss. " - said Clawdeen.
The girl slid across the surface of the ship and fell away from Frankie.
The werewolf tried to find some way to open the ship, but apparently there was nothing on that side. He brought his face close to what appeared to be a window and tried to look inside, but only saw black.
"Clawdeen, are you done? "- asked Frankie.
"Give me a second! "- she replied as he continued trying to look inside that ship. - "Come on, show me a tentacle, an eye, whatever. " -
A sound similar to a whistle caught her attention and she looked up, a hatch in the upper part of the ship had opened, letting us see the interior, without hesitation she climbed back up and looked out, to her disappointment there was nothing that she recognized as an alien.
"Uh… it looks like our space friend melted. " - Clawdeen commented as he looked inside the ship, there was a kind of black substance with green lines, it was similar to a gelatinous slime, but his nose told him that it was some kind of liquid metal.
Cleo and Draculaura, who had come closer while Clawdeen was investigating, looked impatiently and worriedly at the werewolf girl respectively.
"You saw the alien, now, get out of there before you activate the self-destruction of that thing or something. " - Cleo ordered, but clearly worried about the situation.
"Fine, fine, I'm coming. " - Clawdeen jumped back to the ground.
A green circle opened in the central part of the black slime, it moved as if it were an eye, inspecting its surroundings, it was still alive and that was good.
His gaze lifted to where he had heard female voices, apparently he was in an inhabited place, that was even more good, maybe they could help him.
Slowly, the black slime began to rise, creating a small head with a single green circle in the center functioning as a single eye.
First, he reformed his right hand and threw it up to gain some momentum to get up, then his left hand emerged and did exactly the same and to finish, he used both as a lever to lift his body, it was time to introduce himself.
Frankie sighed in relief to see her friend finally walk away from that ship, her heart had almost stopped when the hatch of that thing had opened, luckily, whatever was in there, now it was nothing more than a melted puddle.
"See? It was not so bad. " - Clawdeen casually commented as she approached her friends.
"That was stupid and highly dangerous!" Cleo scolded pointing a finger at her. "Clawdeen Wolf you have no idea what a scare you put me through!"
"Okay, now, calm down, what if I invite you the next time we go out to the city?" That idea seemed to calm the mummy girl, who backed away and crossed her arms.
"Clawdeen, really… there really wasn't any brain-eating monster in there? " - Draculaura asked nervously, Clawdeen could only look at her with a smile, her friend was very cute at times.
" One hundred percent safe. " - answered.
"Well, we already came, we saw and we are leaving, we must call the police to take care of ... well, that. " - Frankie said while looking doubtfully at the ship.
"Okay, but how about we take a picture before? You know for the memory. " - The werewolf suggested as she took out her cell phone.
The girls agreed with that idea, anyway, it didn't hurt anybody.
They gathered a few feet from the ship so that it could be seen in the photograph, they all smiled at the camera and Clawdeen took the photo.
"Let's see how it turned out. " - The four girls waited for their friend's phone to show the photo impatiently. -" Wow, we look good. " -
"Of course, I am. "- Cleo commented haughtily.
" Ehm … girls, what is that? " - Frankie pointed to the photo, precisely to the hatch of the ship.
Clawdeen blinked in surprise at that, her gaze sharpened trying to see what exactly it was, it almost seemed to be ... a hand?
"Is that a hand? " - Draculaura asked scared.
"I-Impossible, you said there was only liquid in there. " - Cleo looked confused and scared at Clawdeen.
"It's what I saw! " - she replied. - "Maybe it was a bird or something! " -
While they were arguing, one black and green figure came slowly toward them, was high, more than any of the girls, their shoulders were wide and had a vaguely humanoid form.
When his shadow fell over them, the four of them fell silent and slowly turned.
Time seemed to slow down for Draculaura, of the small group, she was not exactly the bravest, that was demonstrated when she could not even bear to see the brain-eating monster from the movie.
When the meteorite had fallen she was curious, when they discovered that it was a ship she was afraid and when Clawdeen said there was only a black liquid there she was relieved.
Now? Now she was totally terrified.
Frankie's brain was about to short-circuit, her mind was trying to understand what she was seeing, never in her short life had he seen anything like that.
But she was sure of something.
She was going to need a change of pants at this rate.
Clawdeen's eyes were wide, her pupils so small they could easily pass through black dots, her fur stood on end and her instincts soared.
The adrenaline she was feeling was preparing her to fight or run, that's how her instincts worked.
And Cleo, Cleo screamed in horror.
