Author's Note

IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE NEW: This is a continuation of my last fic, teams RWBY and JNPR have learned a lot from the show. Ruby for example has upgraded certain weapons due to the show. Weiss is now recognized as Ice Queen Weiss of Toon RRAYNNBW because she won the competition.(A copy of Sarge's second in command competition with Donut the Wrench and a Skull) there's much more like that so anytime I reference it from the past fic I will have the characters talk about it and sort of explain it for any new readers.

CRITICS: Tell me what's wrong with my fics, especially anything that seems OOC. Long reviews and flames are appreciated.

SUGGESTIONS: Any interesting reaction ideas you have, go ahead and let me know. Think a certain character needs to take note of something? Again let me know. I will not do any other react fics besides RWBY reacting to RvB.

I hope all of my longtime readers can enjoy this new fic. I hope any new readers can pick it up without having to read the former fics.

No matter how late you are to the party your review will be read. This will be the last fic in the series! Updates may be inconsistent because I am very busy with School and Work, but I will never abandon this fic!

Chapter 1- Trailer y One-Zero-One

Ruby stared at the screen with a smile, "Yay we're back! I feel like I've been waiting forever!"

"Oh no, you suffered through the terrible wait of twenty four hours." Weiss rolled her eyes.

"Hey I'm willing to binge more than one season today." Ruby said to the others in the room, ignoring Weiss.

The others thought about this as they took their seats in team JNPR's dorm.

"Well you know what they say.. something about too much of a good thing right?" Jaune shrugged.

"Too much of a good thing? You can never have too much Red vs Blue!" Nora argued.

"One season a day, I don't want to sit for too long." Weiss said as she got comfortable.

"You've sat for longer periods during class." Blake pointed out. "I'm willing to watch more than one season, I once read through an entire book series in a day."

"In class I'm learning, here watching Red vs Blue, it's essentially a waste of time." Weiss explained.

"You think Red vs Blue is a waste of time!" Nora gasped.

"How dare you Weiss!" Ruby pointed.

"What!? Essentially watching tv is a waste of time." Weiss defended, "I like- no I love the show. But in the end it is a waste of time. But a waste of time I am okay with partaking in.. I will sacrifice my time for this show." Weiss turned up her nose.

"Don't even try to save face, you know what you said." Ruby glared menacingly.

Weiss opened her mouth to speak but thought better of digging deeper. "Anyway.. I'm ready to start, I'm excited to see where the show goes from where it left off."

"Me too, it seemed like a much more definitive end than the Recollection Trilogy's ending." Blake commented.

"Speaking of which, I wonder what this group of seasons will be called." Pyrrha hummed.

Jaune raised his scroll. "I'm going to go ahead and say we'll hear something from Filss first."

"Hello! And thank you for continuing to watch the show!"

"Yep, there it is." Jaune leaned back.

"Before you continue with season 11 of Red vs Blue, you must first view this trailer! Which is Canon unlike the trailer for season 9. Enjoy!"

Jaune shrugged and hit play again.

The scene opens in a hangar.

PA: "-For immediate departure, final call."

Jerry: "Hey Dennis, were we supposed to uh.. be doing something at like four?"

"I can tell this is in the new style- er I mean game." Blake corrected herself.

Dennis: "Well, yeah dude, didn't you hear about those guys?"

Jerry: "What guys?"

"Who are these guys?" Nora asked.

"They sound familiar." Blake frowned.

"And so does the music playing.. oh it was played after the season four finale." Jaune realized.

"The elevator music song." Yang recalled.

Dennis: "I don't know, those sim trooper guys."

Jerry: "Okay…"

Dennis: "They were like, these criminals that helped track down that evil dude with the secret organization."

"They were criminals? Oh yeah! Because they stole Epsilon." Ruby remembered.

"It's interesting to see how others in the world of red vs blue view the events of the past season." Weiss drawled sarcastically. "'Evil dude with a secret organization.'"

"Well that's what I always think when some governor or leader gets in trouble." Ruby commented.

Yang laughed, "You just made a political joke, you sound like dad."

Ruby blanched, "What no! That's just what I really think!"

Jerry: "Okay…"

Dennis: "And they fought robots and evil A.I.s and bounty hunters, and there was that one big guy who was like RAAAAA and they threw him off a cliff and one of them died a bunch, and another guy that was bad, then good and oh, there were ghosts! But..uh..after all that they were like, pardoned and stuff."

"They fought the Tex robots, evil A.I. like Omega, Gamma, and Sigma. The guy who was like Raaaa!" Ruby mimicked, "Is definitely the Meta, Church and Donut died a bunch and Church and Tex were ghosts!" Ruby finished summarizing.

"I'm surprised he knows so much." Blake commented.

"It's not too surprising, their story is certainly interesting and I'm sure it was highly publicised." Pyrrha pointed out.

"What's surprising is how accurate he was, the media and public have a way of distorting true stories." Weiss explained.

Jerry: "Just get to the point!"

Dennis: "Soooooo, they were going to be transported back home."

Jerry: "Dennis?"

Dennis: "Jerry?"

"You ever wonder why we're here?" Yang quipped.

"To watch this show, keep playing." Weiss ordered.

Jerry: "I love you."

"What?" Weiss raised an eyebrow.

Dennis: "Okay, what?"

Jerry: "You are my friend."

Dennis: "I know."

Jerry: "I enjoy our tête-à-têtes."

Dennis: "Our what-a-whats?"

"What?" Weiss asked again.

"I'm confused too." Pyrrha frowned.

Jerry: "But if you do not tell me what the hell this has to do with us in the next five seconds, I am going to shoot you!"

"That came out of nowhere." Jaune frowned.

"Yeah.. was that supposed to be funny or something?" Yang asked.

"I don't know, but I do recognize their voices now." Blake leaned forward. "They fought over a good luck rifle in season nine and they were also in an elevator during the heist. They're the cameo guest stars."

"Oh yeah.. well we don't know who they are so.. kinda meh." Yang shrugged.

"They must be famous to get into a show like Red vs Blue so often." Ruby guessed.

Dennis: "Hey, I was getting there! They were going to be transported home on a big-ass ship and it was supposed to stop by for refuelling today, okay?"

Jerry: "Oh...so then, uh…"

Shot cuts to a black screen.

Jerry: "Where are they?"

"Blood Gulch right?" Ruby asked.

"I guess not." Weiss hummed.

Fade in to a shot of the Reds and Blues, overlooking the wreckage of a large ship.

Caboose: "Not my fault."

Tucker: "Absolutely, your fault."

Pyrrha shook her head and laughed, "Oh no."

Nora and Ruby burst into fits of giggles.

"How did he manage that? That ship is even bigger than the Mother of Invention." Weiss gaped.

"Looks like Caboose upstaged York." Yang snickered.

"What York did was intentional.. However Caboose managed to crash that ship. I'm sure it was an accident." Pyrrha hoped.

"Hm I don't see Doc, Donut, Lopez, Church, or Carolina." Ren squinted.

"And it looks like they're in the same place they were at the end of season ten." Blake added.

"So they crashed? I thought that was Blood Gulch." Ruby frowned.

"Me too, I guess it's not?" Jaune shrugged.

"Well they never specifically said it was Blood Gulch." Nora pointed out. "Maybe it's danger canyon!"

"No this looks like a new box canyon in the middle of nowhere." Blake joked.

The theme starts to play as the camera backs up.

Sarge: "(laughs) Well, looks like we're gonna be here a while, better build some bases. Grif, Simmons, let's get to work."

Simmons: "Yes, Sir!"

Grif: "Ugh, work? I hate work. Work is the worst."

Washington: "I think I'm going to regret this."

Trailer ends.

Nora's eyes widened, "Wait! So this season they're back in a canyon, alone, and they'll be there for a while? YES! They're back to just standing around talking!"

"They stood around and talked plenty for the last five seasons even in the midst of adventure and danger. They don't need an excuse." Blake pointed out.

"You're right they don't." Weiss sighed. "What did all of you think about the trailer?"

"Boooring! Right up until the Reds and Blues showed up. Then it was funny!" Nora answered.

Ruby nodded, "Yeah.. the one guy.. I think his name was Jerry? The way he talked to the other guy was weird."

"You mean the dialogue was bad?" Blake asked.

Ruby nodded, "Yeah."

"Meh I didn't really mind, I didn't notice anything bad." Yang shrugged.

"Me neither, though I suppose the other trailers were more exciting." Pyrrha smiled a little sheepishly.

"The other trailers were exciting because of the action that they promised. This season seems like it will be a little calmer and slower… by Red vs Blue standards." Blake clarified.

"Not action packed basically." Yang summarized.

"Aww no fight scenes." Ruby sagged.

"After last season, I've had my fill." Weiss chuckled. "I'm interested in seeing where this goes."

"Me too, but still though. They ended season 10 as if they were in Blood Gulch right?" Jaune asked.

"Maybe it's a small ret-con?" Ruby suggested.

"If it is, I don't mind it." Blake admitted.

Jaune hit play.

"Red vs Blue: The Chorus Trilogy" appeared on the screen.

"The Chorus trilogy huh? Three seasons." Yang hummed.

"Chorus.. hm that's interesting, I wonder what it will mean." Blake commented.

"One-Zero-One" appeared on the screen with the theme.

"Any guesses Blake?" Jaune asked.

Blake shook her head.

Washington: "(voice over) Journal entry 'one-zero-one.'"

"Hey he said the title!" Nora pointed.

Fade in to the canyon. The camera pans down to reveal a communications tower and soon other areas of the canyon.

Wash: "(voice over) It's been a while since I've done one of these so, uh, let's get caught up to speed."

"RoosterTeeth Presents" appeared on the screen in big block letters.

"I assume Wash saying that means that there was a long break between season 10 and season 11." Ren guessed.

"Either that or they just want to recap." Jaune shrugged.

"I could use one." Ruby nodded, "I even forgot that they were called Roosterteeth.. So much happened last season and then we got shown the.. trailer or whatever you want to call it."

"The most badass fight scene starring my baby sister!?" Yang cooed.

"No Yang! Normal sister with normal knees!" Ruby groaned, "Anyway.. it's been a lot, my brain feels like mush."

Wash: "Everything can be traced back to Project Freelancer, the military organization gone horribly wrong."

"Putting it lightly." Pyrrha mumbled.

Wash: "The men in charge were corrupt and the soldiers who followed them were blind. And guess which side I was on...? Eventually it was the project's own creations that tore it to pieces, and I was the one sent out to pick them up."

"The project made Tex and the Meta. Two of it's most dangerous creations." Yang commented.

"The project made Sigma and Sigma made the Meta." Pyrrha clarified. "Sorry but I don't think the Director should take all of the blame for what Maine became."

"No you're right, Sigma made the Meta." Yang agreed.

Wash: "I recovered weapons, armor, and A.I. fragments, all in an effort to keep the wrong people from getting them first, but I was too slow."

"He gives himself too little credit, he was racing against the Meta and he got shot in the back by South while trying to stop him." Blake pointed out.

"And he was able to get ahead of the Meta, he recovered Delta and York's healing unit." Ren added. "Arguably the most important event that led to the Meta's eventual defeat."

Wash: "Everyone fought over the remnants of Project Freelancer. I didn't think I could believe in anyone anymore. But then... I met the Reds and Blues."

The group smiled at those words.

Camera pans over to Sarge approaching Caboose on a bridge

Sarge: "Hey Caboose!"

Caboose: "Hello."

Sarge: "We've got a proposition for ya."

Caboose: "For me? Oh well you shouldn't have."

"He thinks a proposition is a gift." Pyrrha chuckled.

"That's funny but I can't stop looking at their armor, it's different." Ruby frowned.

"Well yeah it's a different game." Jaune pointed out.

"Yeah but their armor looks different; the chest pieces don't have pecs anymore." Ruby pointed.

"You would notice that Ruby." Yang wiggled her eyebrows.

Ruby's cheeks turned red from both anger and embarrassment, "I noticed because I think armor is cool too! Their visors are also gold now, not greenish like in the season 10 finale."

Wash: "(voice over) They had been used by the Freelancers just like I had. They were cannon fodder in a conflict with no purpose. But more importantly…"

"They trusted each other, they're friends." Ruby smiled.

"Like us." Jaune smiled back.

Camera pans over to Sarge and Caboose talking to Tucker

Caboose: "Tucker the Reds gave us a proposition. We should really send them some sort of thank you basket, like... fruit."

"That would be nice." Ren smiled.

"Boo, I'd want cake." Nora grinned.

Tucker: "Proposition just means a choice you idiot."

Caboose: "Oh... We will take the fuzzy one."

"Good choice." Ruby giggled.

Sarge: "But you don't even know what the proposition is yet."

Caboose: "Well then we don't know that it isn't fuzzy then do we?"

"He has a point." Ruby raised a finger.

Weiss sighed.

Wash: "(voice over) ...They were just stupid enough to trust."

Blake laughed, "So does he."

"Wash trusts them because they're stupid? My respect for him grows." Weiss chuckled.

Wash: "Together, we were able to put an end to everything. The Freelancers, the A.I., even The Director of the whole operation... they're all gone. And as for us, well... we're ship wrecked. Crashed during our ride home, and if we're not rescued soon. I have a feeling something else might find us first... This is Agent Washington signing- (loud explosion) Oohhh, what now?!"

"Red vs Blue Season 11" appear in block letters behind Wash.

"Something else might find us first." Ren repeated.

"Oooh ominous." Yang leaned forward.

"Creepy." Ruby nodded.

"Just what I would expect from him." Blake smiled, "Also the title is very clever. A lot of classes are numbered 101 because it means giving an introduction to material. Wash just gave us a summary of what happened in the past few seasons."

"...none of our classes have 101 at the end of them?" Ruby frowned.

"It's mostly in movies." Jaune explained for Blake.

"Either way, that was a great introduction to Red vs Blue. Do you think this season is meant for long time fans and new viewers?" Weiss asked.

"Seems like it, and it also sounds like we're done with freelancers. Washington was pretty clear about it." Blake added.

"I'm fine with that." Yange shrugged.

"The freelancer storyline couldn't have ended any better." Jaune agreed.

Cut to Sarge in a tank, firing at Red base

Simmons: "You missed, sir."

"Wow, it's weird seeing Red team with the tank." Ruby commented.

"They deserve it!" Nora grinned.

Blake chuckled, "Because instead of a private shooting their leader with a tank, we need a leader shooting the private."

The others laughed.

Sarge: "Dag nabbit! Who in Sam Hell set this thing to inverted?"

Simmons: "Well sir, statistically most users enjoy…"

Sarge: "(annoyed grunting)"

Simmons: "Well eh err, it was probably Grif sir."

"Inverted controls are the worst." Ruby groaned.

"I play inverted." Jaune admitted.

"No wonder you're terrible at FPS games." Yang laughed.

"No I just don't like first person shooters." Jaune crossed his arms.

"Wait you play inverted.. all the time?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah… so?" Jaune asked, genuinely confused.

"Inverted controls are only for vehicles!" Ruby threw her arms up. "Except when you aim guns in vehicles, those also aren't supposed to be inverted."

"I agree with Ruby here, how do you play inverted?" Yang asked.

"I'm just used to it." Jaune blushed. "I can play both ways though."

"It sounds like you play like Grif." Ruby giggled.

Grif exits the base

Grif: "Hey! What the fuck is going on out here?! Who's firing at our base?"

Sarge: "We are."

Ruby giggled, thinking back to when the Director asked the Counselor who was shooting at them.

Grif: "You are?"

Sarge: "Our base is in desperate need of renovations. Figured I'd tear down the east wing and put in something nice and decorative. Like a mortar cannon."

"Why have a mortar cannon when you already have a tank?" Weiss asked. "That seems gratuitous.. but nevermind this is Sarge we're talking about."

Nora giggled.

Grif: "And it didn't occur to you to warn me before you started blowing holes in the side of the wall?"

Sarge fires the tank right next to Grif

Grif: "Oh come on!"

Nora, Weiss, Blake, Ruby, Jaune, and Yang laughed.

Simmons: "Direct hit sir."

Sarge: "No it wasn't."

Nora giggled again.

Wash approaches the Reds

Wash: "What are you two doing?!"

Blake chuckled.

Sarge: "Well if it isn't our good friend Agent Washington."

Wash: "Don't try to butter me up. Also, please refrain from pointing that at me."

Sarge: "Fine."

Simmons: "We were just borrowing the tank for a little construction work."

"Oh the tank is still blue teams." Jaune realized.

"The way it should be." Ruby grinned.

"It makes more sense for red team to have the tank." Nora crossed her arms.

"It does, though I can't imagine them without their signature warthog." Pyrrha hummed.

"Yeah.. me neither." Nora admitted.

Wash: "Really? And which one of my men authorized this?"

Simmons stares at Wash

Wash: "It was Caboose wasn't…"

Camera pans left to reveal Caboose behind Wash

Caboose: "Probably."

Pyrrha laughed, "That was the proposition mentioned earlier."

Wash: "Sarge get out of the tank."

Sarge: "Not a chance Blue! Possession is nine-tenths of the law. The other tenth is a tank. I've got both. Besides, we need it to upgrade our quarters."

"I feel like there was an episode called nine tenths of the law." Jaune frowned.

"Yeah me too." Ruby nodded. "A long time ago."

Wash: "Your quarters are fine."

Grif: "Yea! Now get out of the tank you senile old-"

Sarge fires the t ank at Grif

Grif: "Fucking son of a bitch!"

Sarge: "Finger slipped."

Nora burst out laughing.

"As soon as Caboose used the tank he shot Church, and as soon as Sarge got the tank he shot Grif." Weiss shook her head.

"Their priorities are in order." Blake remarked dryly.

Wash: "Out now!"

Caboose: "My turn!"

Wash: "Please be quiet."

"He lost all turns when he shot Church." Pyrrha commented.

"Wash is being careful." Blake added.

Caboose: "(whispering) My turn."

Sarge exits the tank

Sarge: "This is an outrage! Blue base is built directly below the crash site. You've got an unfair advantage."

Wash: "Sarge, the Reds and Blues aren't fighting. We're just camped at opposite ends of the canyon... in color divided teams. While heavily armed."

Blake chuckled.

"It's just like Blood Gulch." Nora grinned.

"It seems the show is going back to its roots." Ren added.

Sarge: "True. But have you ever considered that fighting is just in our nature? It's almost instinctual. If we're not constantly trying to stab each other in the back... we'll surely die."

Ren frowned, "That sounds eerily similar to a theory Doctor Oobleck taught us."

Blake nodded, "The Vacuan evolution theory, I remember. Sun mentioned knowing people who believed in it."

"The what now?" Ruby asked.

"Didn't you pay attention-" Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose. "You still have an A in his class so I won't complain."

Ruby grinned, "Thanks."

"What's the theory? I don't remember it either." Jaune asked. Pyrrha sighed as well and gave Weiss a knowing look. Weiss shrugged back and gave her a small grin.

Ren spoke up "In short, the theory is that the only reason humanity and Faunus have survived is because we have had to constantly fight for survival. The Grimm are a hazard that have forced us to evolve and advance. They say that if the Grimm didn't exist, we would have been too weak to survive and we would have died out a long time ago."

"...Sounds like Vacuo." Yang shook her head.

"And Sarge." Nora giggled.

"I remember this.." Ruby grimaced, "They also believe that if we defeat the Grimm that we should start fighting each other again so that we don't get weak and die off."

"Oh yeah I remember that." Yang grimaced as well, "They're crazy."

Ruby's mood lightened up a bit as she snorted, "Yeah they are, if we beat the Grimm we'd be able to get stronger because we wouldn't have to be afraid anymore. They're wrong."

"They are only a fringe group, Vacuo has many of them." Ren added in an attempt to reassure Ruby. She smiled and nodded her thanks to him.

Wash: "Dear god, I hate you."

Sarge: "That's the spirit. He he."

"Sarge is glad to be back to his roots." Pyrrha laughed.

"I love Sarge." Nora said for possibly the one hundredth time.

"This whole episode feels like season 4 and 5 of the BGC. It's just a little different because they've grown so much. It's a nice mix, I can guess this season will follow the regular pattern." Blake hummed.

"Blue team will be the most serious with the plot while red team will be more comedic." Weiss guessed.

Blake nodded.

Grif: "We may not be fighting but you're still way closer to the food storage than we are... and that is something that I will not stand for."

"If the food stores were any closer Grif would raid it and eat all of their rations." Weiss pointed out.

Simmons: "You won't stand for anything fat ass."

Grif: "If you were a few feet closer, you'd be sorry."

Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, and Nora laughed.

Wash: "If we don't ration our food we'll all be sorry. We've yet to get our communications dish online and if we run out of food before we can radio for help we're screwed."

"Wash has become their parent." Blake shook her head.

"He has to be their parent, who else will keep them from eating all the food and killing each other?" Weiss asked.

"Who else will keep Grif from eating all the food and keep Sarge from starting a fight." Yang corrected.

The group laughed.

Grif: "Buzz kill."

Wash: "Come on Caboose. We need to go have a chat with Private Tucker."

Wash and Caboose leave for Blue base in the tank

Simmons: "There goes the revered leader of the Blue Army. What a dick."

"Tensions are high." Ren commented.

"Oh I hope they fight, they haven't had an actual fight in so long!" Nora groaned.

"Well Wash kicked their asses in season 10 and took all of their stuff." Blake pointed out.

"That doesn't count." Nora crossed her arms.

"Totally counts." Ruby giggled as she fistbumped Blake.

Sarge: "Fine! We don't need that tank anyway. As many great 21st century movie trailers once said. This is only the beginning. And then text would appear on the screen."

The screen fades to black.

Sarge: "And the music would cut out abruptly. and they'd say one... final line of dialog to leave the audience with the ultimate sense of excitement!"

Grif: "Like what?"

Sarge: "...I don't know."

The episode ends.

"That was a great start, I can't wait to see Wash meet his breaking point." Ruby giggled.

"I expect it will happen, he's under a lot of stress and none of them are helping." Blake chuckled.

"Speaking of no one helping, where did Carolina and Church go?" Jaune asked. "If they crashed.. why would they leave the others?"

Glad to start the final fic in this series, the Chorus Trilogy!

Some people have asked for this so here, besides seasons 11-13 they will also react to:

-The 3 greatest movies in the galaxy sometime during or after season 11

-S14 eps 9-11 during season 13 after Locus and Felix are revealed to be evil and partners etc. Maybe after ep 1.

-Caboose's guides- season 13 sometime

-Carolina vs meta. Late season 13 I will blur and bleep anything spoilery

-The musical and throwdown sometime during late season 13, I'll also bleep anything spoilery here too.

This fic series will END on season 13's finale, there may be an epilogue chapter though.

QUESTION: What did you think of this first chapter? I'm curious about your thoughts on the Vacuan evolution theory. I love history and I've been thinking a lot about RWBY's world and the possible beliefs people would have.

SUGGESTIONS: Any suggestions for the Chorus trilogy?
