The End Of Evil I

The battle against Asterius took a huge toll on Bell that after getting medical treatment from Dea Saint, Amid ordered him to take a rest for a whole month.

His body even though healed are still exhausted from the fight after receiving devastating blows from the minotaur so he had no choice but to obey her.

A thought then crossed his mind.

Since he already have a high excilia and can already level up, he guessed that the fight with Asterius gave him the final requirement to reach level 5.

But something happened while his goddess, Astrea was updating his status and level.

Bell and Astrea's home.

"Okay Bell, lift your shirt while I prepair." Astrea said gently with a smile on her face.

"Yes goddess, thank you."

Bell's face was now back towards his goddess while showing her his Falna. Seconds later, he felt a small drop of liquid, her blood land to his back and show his status in the form of sacred lettering.

"Okay... Bell you're right..! You can now rank up and become a first class adventurer! Congratulations! Your hard work is already paying off, in 3 months, you've already become a first class adventurer! Isn't that great!?" Astrea said happily and she can also see Bell's huge smile on his face.

"Yes! Finally...!! Well then, please finish it Goddess!!"

"Ok dear stay still.."

As the goddess of justice was finishing the rank up, a burst of divine power suddenly erupted in Bell's falna and made it update on their own. Astrea was pushed back by the power but was not harmed by it.

But that wasn't the case for Bell.

After the burst of light, Bell screamed in pain like he was being burned alive. The heat coming from his back spreading towards all of his upper body.

This surprised Astrea when she saw his Falna growing bigger and covering his body up to his neck.

"Is that... True Falna..!?" She exclaimed and the boy in front of her suddenly collapsed.

"Bell!! This is bad... His body temperature is too high... I need to bring him back to Amid's clinic...!!"

Astrea tried to carry Bell all on her own towards the said clinic but when the townspeople saw how hard it is for her, they offered her help and gave her a small ride towards Dian Cecht Familia's pharmacy where Amid's clinic is located.

"Excuse me!! Is the Dea Saint here!?" The goddess called out which caught everyone's attention.

A second later, Amid came out with her usual expression but it soon changed when she saw Astrea carrying a passed out Bell behind her with a very pained expression.

"What happened Goddess!?"

"I'll explain later but please move him in one of your rooms and see if you can give him something that would ease pain..." She said as she eyed her child who's occasionally grunting in pain while asleep.

"Okay. Nurse, please give me a hand. Let's move him in to the emergency room. What about you goddess Astrea?"

"I'll go later and explain everything but I need to head first somewhere..."

Amid gave her a firm nod before she head out and went to the guild's direction.

"Maybe I don't need an explanation after all. On what I can see, his falna grew larger and covered all of his upper body. This isn't something I can understand so I'll just do my job..." She whispered to herself as they carried Bell inside.

Guild.

Astrea arrived at the guild panting, surprising everyone in the guild. She then rushed towards where Royman.

"Royman, I need to see Ouranus right now... Please..?"

"Ouranus-sama also said that you would arrive here so please go, you don't need to go here, just go straight to him."

"Thank you."

Astrea walked towards the guild's basement and opened it's door where Ouranus and Fels awaits.

"Astrea, I know why you are here, Bell's skill must've already triggered the activation of True Falna..." The god said calmly.

"So you know... But what should I do..? He might be strong and has a pure soul but those doesn't mean he can handle the potential of Falna... Many in the age of heroes attempted this but only one man succeeded... The rest of them couldn't handle the power and their body exploded... Do you know that..?" Astrea said with tears forming in the corner of her blue eyes as she remembered her previous beloved child getting slaughtered by the juggernaut in the past.

"I don't want to see you like this but I guess I have no choice... Astrea." Another goddess' voice rang out, they were all too familiar with her face and voice that even if they hear her from a far, they would recognize her.

"Freya, what brings you here?"

"I'm just here to help an old friend of mine who's will was weakened by the loss of her child. Anyway, Astrea, why do you have so little faith on Bell?" Freya eyed her fellow goddess fiercely as if she was angry about something.

"That's n-"

"Freya is right... Astrea." Ouranus interrupted her.

"Don't you believe in your own child? Like how you believed in your deceased familia members? In fact you have to believe him more while he's still right beside you, if you truly love him as your child. You must know that he can do this-"

"How can you say that so easily!?"

"Because I believe in him... You see before you arrived here, I already had my eyes laid upon him... His very pure soul that reflects all the colors shines brighter than anyone else, just seeing him walking around brightens my day but the more he got stronger, the brighter he also became and that's why I fell in love with that boy. I used every means to test him and I saw him at his strongest state, that's why I know that he can control this power. Astrea, I know you are stronger than this, you should just believe in him more... Don't let Alise and the other's death control your emotions... And also don't worry about me, I won't take Bell away from you, he needs you and you need him. I'm not as cruel as everyone thinks I am so rest assured... I'll see you later"

Freya bid farewell and soon was fetched by Allen. They vanished in the blink of an eye leaving Ouranus, Astrea, and Fels alone.

"Freya..." Astrea muttered as she absorbed what she just said.

"You should relax and keep an eye on him, we don't know when he'll wake up so someone needs to be by his side, I'll just let Freya and Loki handle the rest..."

Astrea became curious and asked him what he meant by that, the god then explained to her what Evilus did this past few days when they were taking a rest.

"While the Loki Familia successfully infiltrated Thanatos Familia's secret hideout under the Daedalus Street, their allied Familia, Dionysus Familia got trapped and was slain in the process... Without their god's falna, they are nothing but a normal citizen after all..." Astrea's eyes shot wide open when she heard him.

"Your guess is right Astrea, Dionysus was killed... By Enyō, But let me finish my story. After that the Loki Familia also suffered some minor injuries but there was no casualties in them, and they are now preparing to heading back there a long with the Freya Familia, that's why Freya and Allen Fromel didn't stay too long. In a few days, they will hold an all out battle against the Evilus Familia but in the meantime, Hermes, Loki and Freya deduce who and what Enyō is. You should also join them or are you still concerned about Bell Cranel? The choice is yours, I won't force you to join them."

Astrea closed her eyes and the image of her former Familia flowed back into her as well as how she and Bell revived it. She then smiled and said.

"I don't need to keep an eye on him anymore, Freya is right. I should have more faith on my child, I'll be joining them. Thank you Ouranus." She smiled to the god of origin before leaving him.

"What do you say Fels?"

"Why are you asking me?"

"Nothing."

Loki Familia's side.

The Loki Familia members were safe and sound, they sustained some injuries but all of it will heal in a whole day. Physically they were fine but not mentally.

Not when they saw their friends getting slaughtered right in front of their very own eyes. The rookies especially the younger ones still couldn't believe what happened even though they've prepared themselves for this kinds of things over and over even before becoming an adventurer.

Line, Tiona, Tione, Aki, Aiz and some others were all mourning by the death of their friends death. Filvis died while protecting Lefiya from the ambush when they discovered that the secret base were connected to the Knossos.

"I... I still can't believe that Filvis-san actually died... No, I don't want to believe it... If only Dionysus-sama didn't get assassinated..." Aki balled her fists.

A certain werewolf then arrived, starving and looking for food interrupted them. Demanding them to cook something food since all he can find that could be eaten was fruits and bread. This angered both Tiona and Tione who almost lashed out to him.

"How can you just stay calm and prioritize your hunger first after everything that happened!? Don't you have a heart!?" Tiona said angrily.

"Asshole..! How can you eat when you can still visualize what happened to them like it was still happening right now!? Look at what happened to Lefiya..!! She's so traumatized that she can't even speak!! READ THE ATMOSPHERE DUMBASS!!" Tione grabbed him by his collar before bashing their heads which made the werewolf step back a little.

"And will it do you anything good!? They are already dead!! Nothing can be done!! Except if you can do something as crazy as reviving the dead!! None of us could do that!! All we can do is fight for them and fill up their roles!! Now if none of you is going to eat, I'll take all of this... I'm so fucking hungry...!" He said as he grabbed a basket of fruits before leaving all of them. Astonished by what he just said.

All of them were silent and was thinking about what he just said, the first to break was Tione who had fire on her eyes. The flames that Aiz was way too familiar.

"He's right... The only thing we could do is to avenge them... I'm heading out to train... Don't come with me-" Tione was already about to go out but a voice stopped her.

"Wait... I don't think that's what Bete-san means..." It was line who still had tears formed at the corner of her eyes, but she was a lot calmer now compared to earlier.

"Then WHAT!?"

All of them got silent, none of them could answer her except for two persons. The said persons only smiled to each other before one of them spoke.

"I know what he meant when he said "Fight for them and fill up their roles"... Tione, I know too well when a person were consumed by the black flames of vengeance... That's why I want to clarify to you what he meant earlier and I learned this after talking to Bell after our fight to the talking monsters... I can still remember his words like he just said this to me earlier. "Revenge only brings sadness and emptiness to the heart of the people... Yes, you will feel slightly releaved after killing someone you've been hunting for a long time but after that... The guilt of what you did and the stain of blood on you hands will never leave you alone..." And I don't want that to happen to anyone especially you, for you are my friend." Aiz smiled softly as she closed the gap between them. Later Aki slowly stood up and also smiled before speaking.

"I think what he meant earlier is taking on the Will of those who died in the battlefield for us, and that is putting an end to all of this chaos and destruction. And I'm pretty sure that we're already doing it right now. After the death of Astrea Familia, we the Loki Familia vowed to put an end to the remnants of Evilus in their place."

Unknown to them, a certain elf was listening to their conversation. This elf was the forementioned traumatized elf but after hearing her idol's words, life went back to her eyes.

"Bell Cranel was truly something isn't he...? He changed not only Aiz-san but all of us in one fell swoop... I don't understand why but it feels like everything he says has a deep meaning that could touch anyone's heart." She said with a smile.

All of them jumped to her when they saw her finally talking and moving normally especially her roommate Elfy. Who cried out of joy when she heard her friend speak again for the first time.

"Lefiyaaaa!!!! I thought you will never recover again!!! I'm so glad...!!!!" The girl rubbed her face over the elf over and over.

The top three executives watched them from a far with smiles on their faces.

"Riveria's crush sure had a lot of impact on our Familia, we should thank him properly sometime..." Finn said jokingly.

"Well I can't deny it, especially when I already admitted everything myself but you're right... We should thank him properly..." Riveria could do nothing but smile because of how matured Aiz has become after what happened.

"What about we offer mama bear's hand to him...?" Gareth suggested.

"We can't do that. Aki will be the one to court him."

They decided to make their way towards the others to schedule a meeting. Afterwards they started preparing for the upcoming war against the Evilus. But little did they know that they still have some surprise left for them.

I'm so sorry, I'm too busy playing the devil may cry series. I just played everything from DMC 1 to DMC 5. Heck I even played the other version that was released on the PS3 around 2013 or something.

Anyway, just like Vergil, I became motivated but only a little bit HAHAHA.

Also, this is not the book 2 yet, this is a special and it'll probably go up to 3 chapters featuring the defeat of Evilus which happened in the SO Light Novel.
