Part 98: Finrals second chance
In the main building of the clover kingdom castle where the king was. Finral was battling his controlled brother Langris along with captain Yami and Jack, "This isnt good, that's one of the most powerful spatial magics out there and whats worse he can keep it going," Finrals father thought as two spatial magic shields protected Langris from attacks.
"Father," Firnal said getting his attention, "You should go now and you too lady Finness, Ill take care of Langris," he said without looking back at them and he looked surprised.
"What are you thinking you don't stand a chance against him, your nothing but transport for the black bulls," his father said.
"I know his magic is stronger then mine, but theres one thing that will never change," Finral said before looking serious, "Hes my brother,".
"It's impossible," Firnals father said still looking surprised before Yami picked him up by the back of his robe.
"Hey don't go underestimating my subordinate alright, you'd be surprised of how much he's helped out the squad," Yami said before one of Finrals portals appeared in front of him, "Now get going," he said before throwing him into the portal.
"My sweet Langris how could you do something like this," Langris mother said.
"Okay your going too," Yami said before pushing her into a portal while she called out her sons name. Another portal appeared in front of Finnes that was right behind Finral.
"Finral," she said walking over to the portal.
"Don't worry ill make it back okay and ill bring Langris back too," Finral said smiling at her. She nodded at him still looking worried before walking into the portal.
"HEY," a male voice yelled from behind Finral and he looked to see the king hiding behind his throne, "What about me, I should be top priority," he said.
"Oh right," Finral said before sighing and opening a portal at the bottom of the steps.
"Honestly some of you are just useless, I should have been the first one sent out," Augustus said before the portal fell apart. The king looked surprised and looked to see Langris was smiling as he had one of his hands up. He had cancelled out Finrals portal.
"Now don't get going too soon, I still have to cut you up after all," said Langris as the king screamed before running to hide behind his throne again.
"Now cutting up is my job, keh keh," Jack said as the blade Langris damaged grew back as he held both his arms back, "Severing magic, death scythe lunatic slash," he said before sending out multiple slashes. Multiple slashes shot forward and Langris smiled as his shield protected him. The rest of the slaslshes ended up hitting the wall behind the king. Destroying the back of the room and Augustus fell out through the hole.
"You fools," he said as he fell.
"Well I guess that's one way to save him," Finral said before looking at green mantis captain annoyed, "Couldn't you be more careful, he is the king after all," he said.
"Looks like ill have to try and cut him better," Jack said laughing.
"And you do not care," Finral said before Langris spoke up.
"Now with the king out of the way, I just need to take care of you," Langris said as multiple pieces of his spacial magic appeared around him. Finral then looked surprised.
"He can still use attack spells while keeping that shield up, this isn't good," he thought before Langris held both of his arms out.
"Now spatial magic," he said before Finral pointed both of his arms forward.
"Spatial magic," he said.
"Archangels crash," Langris said as the pieces of his spatial magic began to fire.
"Fallen angles wing beat," Finral said before the pieces of his own spatial magic fired as well. The two spells clashed but as they continued to fire Finral started to look annoyed.
"Oh no, I can only stop so many of them," Finral thought. "Dodge as many of them of them as you can," he said.
"Seriously who said you could give out orders," Yami said before he stopped running and pointed his sword forward. "Dark magic, black hole," he said as a dark orb appeared and began to suck in Langris attack.
"Reinforcement magic, enhance legs," Jack said before running as his legs began to be covered in green armor. He began to run faster as he dodged Langris spells.
"This isn't good, a long out battle isn't a good idea," Yami thought looking annoyed as he dodged Langris attack, "We just need to get through that defensive shield," he thought before noticing one shield was stopping his attack. Another was stopping Jacks attacks.
"Looks like this battle isn't one where one of us cant win on their own," he thought.
"Oh I really want to cut him," Jack thought smiling. Thanks to Jacks instinct on want to cut things hes able to change the prosperty of his magic. As long as he keeps going he can cut through it.
"Severing magic, death scythe," he said as he began to cut through the pieces of spatial magic surprising Langris.
"Now dark magic dark cloaked," Yami said as held his katana in the air as it began to be covered in darkness. "You ready Jack," he said.
"Right, Severying magic, death scythe," he said sending out a large slash.
"Dimension slash," Yami sending out a slash as both of their attacks cut through Langris defensive spell.
"Alright lets end this," said Jack jumping forward before Langris smiled.
"You think that can stop me," Langris said as large pieces of his spacial magic appeared in front of him, "Think again humans," he said before firing.
Jack cut through a few but the ones he didn't destroyed the wall behind him and he fell out. Yami absorbed a few of the attacks with black hole but the floor underneath him got too damaged and fell apart.
"Captain Yami, captain Jack," Finral said before looking serious as he tried to cancel out Langris spatial magic with his own.
"Haha, looks like your magics not even good for attacking and defending," Langris said smiling.
"That's right, I know my magic cant beat you," Finral thought before two of Langris attacks hit both of his sides making him bleed. "But I can bring the people who can, spatial magic, fallen angels wing beat," he thought before Yami and Jack jumped out of portals in front of Langris who looked surprised.
"No way, he used his strength to teleport them back," Langris thought.
"Fallen angels wing beat forces the person they touch to teleport somewhere," Finral thought remembering when he sent his spell to get the two magic knight captains.
"No, I wont lose," Langris thought as pieces of his spatial magic appeared. But Jack cut through it and cut his cheek making him look annoyed.
"Looks like I was able to cut you after all," Jack said smiling before Yami hit Langris hit with his sword.
"Its time to knock you out, heres dark magic lightless blunt slash," he said as Langris began to fall looking like he was unconscious.
"I wont lose to you," Langris said angrily as both Yami and Jack jumped back looking surprised. Langris then flew into the air with two large spheres of spatial magic shot out and began to cut through the entire room.
"Your nothing but weak pitiful humans," Langris said as the room continued to be destroyed. "I will make you pay for everything you've done," he said as the entire roof was destroyed.
"His magics becoming something more dangerous," Yami said looking serious before Finral stepped forward.
"I got this captain, hes to busy to pay attention to my magic" he said. "Langris we never really argued, not even when we were kids," he thought remembering their past. "I always distanced myself because of my talent and I didn't even understand how lonely you were," he thought.
A portal then appeared next to Langris, "Sorry but your big brothers always been good at speed and accuracy," he said as another portal appeared next to him. He then sent a fallen angels wing beat into the portal next to him and it came out of the one next to Langris.
The spell hit Langris as he appeared in front of Finral who ran at him, "Langris, WAKE UP," he yelled the last two words as he punched him across the face. Inside Langris mind, Langris sat on the ground hugging his knees when he heard Finral.
"Langris," he said. Langris then looked to see Finral standing out of one of his spatial portals, "You know for the talented younger brother your quiet the handful," he said before holding out his hand.
"I'm sorry I took so long, so lets get going," he said smiling. Langris looked surprised, but after a few moments he grabbed onto his older brothers hand. Out in the real world both Finral and Langris were lying on the ground unconscious. Finrals hand over Langris's.
"Well ain't that cute, we fought him and he was able to beat him with the power of love," Yami said before smiling. "Good Job Finral," he said.
"Now whos the next guy we have to fight," Yami said looking in the direction of the eye of the midnight sun hideout. But flying towards one of its entrances was Patry who noticed someone standing at the entrance in front of him.
"Well its been a while, have you been here long Fryd," he said looking at the controlled Gauche. Next to him was Marie, who now had red markings on her face.
"Whos that brother, that's not Licht," she said looking confused.
"Your Patry aren't you, I know you looked up to Licht but now you look like him," Gauche said.
"What are you talking about, I was in this body when I awakened," Patry said when a dark spatial portal appeared next to them. Rhya jumped out now wearing elf robes.
"Hey Patry you made it, hey Fryd and little Claudette's here too," he said.
"Hello," she said.
"Rhya where is Licht right now," said Patry.
"Yeah about that, I don't if its because of his new body or that he was the one to use the forbidden reincarnation magic, but his memory's not fully back yet so hes sleeping," Rhya said.
"I see," Patry said before looking outside, "The members of the golden dawn should be dealing with the humans for us and from the damage done to the castle," he said looking towards where the king was.
"It looks like Ladry went overboard, but now their foolish king is dead," he said. "The final magic stone which is now ours, we will place it on the pedestal in the castle and use the spell to wipe out the humans for good,".
"We will make this a world of peace for elfs alone," he said.
Over with Jack and Yami. Mages were healing Finral while Langris was held down with Yamis binding magic, "Well I wonder where my subordinates are, if they don't get here fast I'm gonna have to crush all those elves by myself," Yami said smiling.
"Speaking of subordinates what happened to Charlotte, thought she would be fighting with you," Jack said before noticing Yamis look turned serious as he clenched his free fist. "I see, well Ill crush them all so you can get her back," he said smiling.
"Keep dreaming, ill be the one to do it," Yami said smiling as the two of them looked towards the eye of the midnight sun hideout.
