Welcome ladies and gentlemen. I'm excited for this new project and hope you enjoy it. To explain a bit, I will be co-writing along with WakandaForever1211. Together we're going to try to connect the movies(mainly the first two animated)with the Lion Guard.

I want to address that somethings are being used from the YouTube series My Pride by Tribbleofdoom which me and WakandaForever1211 want to acknowledge them.

Without further ado, here's the first chapter of Pride And Prejudice.

Disclaimer: Don't own anything but some collaborated OCS. Everything else belongs to Walt Disney and Tribbleofdoom.

"Grandma can you tell the story of the sisters again?"

'Eons ago, before the split of errors there was one way of living. In kingdoms watched over by the goddess sisters. The oldest, Sunce. The goddess of the Lite kingdom, she was known for life and a guide. As you could be guided by her bright eye in the day sky.

The youngest, Asra. The goddess of the Moon kingdom, she was known was death and war and hate. As you could see her blind eye in the night sky. It's said that Asra is the reason why-'

"Mother!"

The cold air of the wilderness came rushing back, causing the lionesses to shiver. The full moon was high surrounded by dozens of stars.

The cold breeze swaying the tall grasses as a middle-aged pale beige lioness stood with a annoyed expression on the older dull beige lioness. Her dark tuff that's from the dark dorsal stripe on her head, ruffling in the night's breeze.

"Oriane will you ever learn?"

Oriane growled before turning her narrowed yellow eyes on the young light beige lioness sitting nearby with her head low. "Shouldn't you be hunting? Make yourself useful!"

With a whimper, the young lioness headed into the tall dark grasses. Passing a slightly older pregnant yellow-beige lioness, who was sleeping soundly without a care of what is happening.

Letting out a low sigh, the young lioness disappeared into the swaying grass.

A soft breeze travelled through the night. While most were resting under the full moon's light, like her family. Minus her.

The young lioness was tasked with bringing her elderly grandmother, her cold mother and her pregnant older half-sister something to eat. Alone.

Her purple eyes were locked on a stray wildebeest. It was foolish to hunt such a prey without a hunting party but she had orders to not return without a proper catch.

As the wind changed directions, she charged.

She had hunted only once before, but it had been a failed attempt. She was determined to do it right, this time. Especially since she didn't want to disappoint her mother... again. She couldn't mess this up. The old wildebeest was about the hardest target in the savannah, but she can not to fail.

Her hind legs propelling her with a burst of powerful energy. Her claws tore up the ground as she sprinted after the wildebeest, that had let out a raucous collection of frightened calls and belts.

Although the wildebeest was aged, she was stronger than she looked. The young lioness felt a twinge of fear as she raced after the aged cow. The wildebeest kicked out with her back hooves, sliding to a stop. Her sides heaved, and the young lioness guessed that she had no more strength to run, and had decided to fight for her life.

The young lioness' paws skidded on the ground as she reached the wildebeest, frantically trying to dodge the kick and swing of the cow's horns. Time slowed down as one of the wildebeest's horns caught her under the chin, lightly knocked out her focus.

Right before the cow's hooves hit the young lioness squarely in the chest and she felt the wind knocked out of her.

The blurry fight of the wildebeest galloping off into the distance, belting was the last thing she saw before consumed by darkness.
