Chapter 0: Sparking the Match
Wealth. Fame. Power beyond your wildest dreams. Gol D Roger, the King of the Pirates, had attained all the world had to offer while combating an incurable disease. Before he was executed, he uttered these famous words:
"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything in one place...Now you just have to find it!"
Ever since, hundreds, nay, thousands had taken to the sea, searching for One Piece, the treasure of all treasures. But this was no mere treasure hunt, for the seas of Roger's world defied conventional thought and were loaded with fantastic Sea Kings and freakishly powerful pirates.
And in the midst of said travels, many a miracle occurred: The gateway to another world...or perhaps the same but in the further future, was found.
A world where amazing powers were commonplace, and the strongest of these power-users were considered Heroes or Villains, depending on how they used their powers, which they called Quirks.
Pirates seeking to escape from the Marines or to retire from the life of sailing rushed to this gateway, where they started new lives.
And this is where our tale begins, with one such pirate taking a break from a self-imposed mission...

A four year old boy with green hair and freckles excitedly pulled on his father's leg, determined to show him something.

"Alright, buddy. I'm coming." His father chuckled lightly as he let his son drag him to the computer room.

They soon found themselves watching a video of people running and screaming in panic.
"Does your mom know you're watching this?" Ace asked.
"Watching WHAT, exactly?"
Father and son tensed and looked over to see a pinked haired woman finishing off a slice of pizza with an amused look on her face.

"Um...N-nothing, honey!" Ace weakly denied...only to see his wife was NOT buying it. Luckily, the video gave her an answer:
"Worry Not...Because I AM HERE!"
The parents looked to see their son wide-eyed and starstruck at the sight of a muscular blonde man with an unmistakable smile
"Oh, its just one of Toshi's videos." Bonney smiled, Ace chuckling.
"Of course it is."
"I'm going to be just like him when I get my Quirk!" Izuku beamed. "A hero who knocks out bad guys and calms down everyone with a smile!"
Ace and Bonney suddenly incredibly jealous of the hero taking their son's idolization and ducked into 'the emo corner' before Izuku got off and picked up a toy bisento and stole a cookie.
"But I'll be super nice and caring like grandpa and you guys too!"
Any jealousy vanished and the parents hugged their son, nuzzling his face with great big smiles on thier faces. The moment could've lasted forever...
"Wait, when do you have to be Katsuki's?" Bonney asked.
Ace and Izuku's eyes widened and they kissed Bonney before rushing to the door.
"Don't forget his present!" Bonney called out, handing her son a wrapped present before tossing a shirt her husband's way. "And cover up! I already have to deal with enough..."
"Honey! Izu!" Ace cut her off worriedly.
"...Just cover up." Bonney demanded. She then kissed her son and husband. "Have a great time, baby!"
"See ya later mommy!"
The two then leapt onto a collapsible sail boat with a rocket engine and took off into the skies towards their destination; the home of Izuku's best friend, Katsuki Bakugo.
However, fate would deny them their journey, as an explosion and screams garnered their attention and a familiar laugh filled their ears.
"ZEHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Both males tensed before Ace adopted a firm stare, landing the boat on a building and activating his powers in anger, burning his shirt to ash.
"Daddy?"
"Izuku, stay here." Ace commanded as he disappeared into a spiral of flames. Izuku did as he was ordered to, only moving when the Transponder Snail began to ring.
"Hello?" Izuku answered.
"Izu? Where are ya?" Katsuki asked, the snail morphing to replicating his eyes. "The hag's saying there's some kind of...CLICK!"
The four year old then realized someone was behind him..and they had cut off the call.
"Where do you HACK! Think you're going, kiddo?" Dr. Q asked.

A few weeks later, Izuku, cold, hungry and scared, was chained next to his father on an execution platform at Marineford, thousands Marines looking at him with either confusion or disgust. Poor kid was scared out of his mind.
"Ace." Sengoku called out. "I would like you to tell us the name of your father."
Ace's form tightened, but he answered without hesitation:
"Whitebeard is my only father."
"DON'T GIVE ME THAT!" The Buddha roared, making Izuku wince beside his father. If it weren't for the sea stone cuffs, Ace would've stuck Sengoku without a second thought. Instead, the Whitebeard commander scooted a little closer to his son and nuzzled his head.
"It's okay buddy. It's okay." The fire fist smiled as confidentially as he could
He had tuned out and ignored how Rouge had performed a miracle to birth him, then going for the zinger
"Your mother was Portgas D Rouge...the love for Gold Roger!"
The world went silent...before the majority of the marines began baying for the father and son's blood
"Wait a minute!" Someone shouted. "The boys not even ten! Hell, he's not even of your world?! Why should he be here?!"
The hero world onlookers and representatives began to boo the World Government and Marines
"Is this Justice for you people? Punishing kids for things their parents are grandparents did?!"
"What did Ace even do that was so bad?!"
Admiral Akainu growled and moved to silence the critics, but then something burst from the bay; something that made the Marines gulp; a Whale themed and sized ship.
The Moby Dick, and at its forefront was Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate. The strongest man in the world. Rival to Gol D Roger, Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and the man closest to One Piece...as well as a well known father to his men and grandfather to their own children.
"Been a while Sengoku." He grinned. "We should talk. Like about you NOT killing my son and grandson!"
He then looked over to the soon to be killed, and his eyes became more gentle
"Just sit tight for a little longer, Ace. Izuku."
"Grandpa!" Izuku cheered.
Ace couldn't hold back his tears..and they began to drop as other crews began to appear.
"Don't think you're getting out of this one, Captain!" the Spade pirates half ranted and half promised.
"We're here for ya, Ace!"
"We got your back, bro!"
Whiteboard then unleashed his Quake-Quake fruit powers, sending a tsunami heading to the plaza
Aokiji was quick to freeze the wave, giving the pirates the time to advance and a war to truly begin. Anyone who was a name in the New World made an appearance, all the Vice Admirals clashing with a Pirate Captain. The Whitebeard Commanders faced the Warlords as their Captain directed them and handled the foolish and or arrogant Giants who attacked him.
No side emerged unscathed; bodies began to amass and wounds became obvious, but the Pirates refused to fall. One in particular, Oars jr, was the most deadest on saving Ace and Izuku; even after losing a leg to Donquoite Doflamingo and being impaled by by Gecko Moriah's shadows, he kept going...
Gecko Moriah was about to land a killing blow to take Oar's shadow when he heard two words that had been ingrained into his memory.
"RAIMEI HAKEI!"
A club met him head on and sent him flying, just as Doflamingo's smile vanished and many began to cower.
"Woorororororo! Been a while, Gecko!"

"KAIDO?!"
Moriah paled in terror as the man that destroyed his old crew was now in the flesh, towering over everybody else, only Whitebeard matching his sheer height!
"What is HE doing here?!" A marine called out, many cowering at the Headliners joined the fray: King attacking the cannons while Queen transformed and rampaged and Jack burst from underwater and began cutting down marines. Throughout all of this, Kaido's son Yamato lead the lesser soldiers
"BEAST PIRATES! Until Ace and Izuku are safe, BACK UP THE WHITEBEARD PIRATES!"
For once, all obeyed Yamato, who saw Boa Hancock rushing towards him. He had enough time to draw his kanbo and swing it after pumping in with Haki.
"Pirate Empress against the son of the Strongest Creature? Sounds like a great fight!"
"Stand aside." The World's most beautiful woman ordered with a bored tone as she held back Yamato's club with her foot.
"MAMAMAMA!"
"..Oh Oda..." Kizaru whimpered.
"Not HER too!" Ace gulped.
"Daddy?" Izuku asked, confused.
"It's ROCKS all over again!" Garp and Sengoku freaked out together as a gigantic older woman in a polka dot dress leap into the fray, with her whole family by her side.
Charlotte 'Big Mom' Linlin

"So, think you can upstage me, Edward?" Linlin said in a teasing tone towards Whitebeard, who couldn't help but smirk at his old crew-mate.
"Well, you never were one to shirk away from a challenge, Linlin! You and Kaido both!"
"Don't think we're helping out of nostalgia, old man." Kaido growled. "Yamato wouldn't shut up about never fighting Ace again and Orochi was in one of his moods."
"Still the insolent guppy, I see." Linlin beamed. "That any way to talk to your big brother and sister?"
Whitebeard looked at his two former crew-mates. Then Izuku. Then smiled as he came to a realization.
"Finally acting like parents, I see. Or rather...grandparents?"
The world was then treated to a sight that would never again be replicated:
Two or the Emperors...BLUSHING IN EMBARRASSMENT, and then looking away as images of their grandchildren filled their heads.
"Stupid...adorable...Katakuri...and Pez..."
"Stupid...adorable...Lor...!"
Whitebeard let out a chuckle before he and his two former allies advanced, much to the fear of the Marines.
"Wait, what is that?"
"Now what?!" Sengoku snapped, only for his jaw to drop
Falling from the sky, was Monkey D Luffy and a collection of characters, including Jinbei, Buggy D. Clown, Emporio Ivankov, Sir Crocodile, and more!
"AAAAAAAAAA!" Luffy screamed as he fell. "Oh wait, I'm rubber. I'll be fine."
"GARP! YOUR FAMILY'S CAUSING TROUBLE! AGAIN!" Sengoku snapped
"LUFFY, NOOOO!" Garp screamed
"Straw...HAT!" Gecko Moriah roared, only to leap away
"I'd be more worried about me!" Kaido growled.
"SO COOL!" Yamato beamed, finally seeing his friendly rival's little brother living up to hype
Page One and Ulti rushed into the fray, along with Charlotte Perospero and Charlotte Opera!
"We can't let that rookie take all the glory!" Ulti roared
"'BEST UNCLE' WILL BE MINE!" The Charlotte brothers roared
Ace, in spite of everything, sweat-dropped
"...I'm thinking this is less about saving us and more looking cool. Um..Izu?"
"So...! Many...! AWESOME...! ...DEVIL FRUITS!" The four year old gasped, his eyes sparkling.
Ace chuckled, if there was one thing he knew about his son, it was that he loved Quirks and Devil Fruits, no matter how bizarre or mundane.
And then he remembered his OTHER family present
"LUFFY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
Izuku gasped; his polite and proper father had sworn! His great-Grandpa shared his reaction/
"Daddy, you...!"
"Sorry, but not now, kiddo. Daddy has to lecture your uncle...AGAIN!"
Luffy, who in another verse would've been desperate and enraged, simply chuckled.
"Shishishishi! Can't I try and rescue my brother and nephew?"
"What about Daigo and Nami?" Ace asked, the thought of his nephew and sister-in-law popping in his head.
"They're fine!" Luffy assured his brother as he advanced, then paused and vanished, keeping Crocodile from attempting his revenge on Whitebeard before declaring to three of the Emperors HE would be pirate king.
Somewhere in the New world
Nami, the Navigator of the Straw Hat pirates, held her four year old son in her arms and winced at her husband's declaration, silently BEGGING every deity he would NOT die just yet and wondering why she fell in love with such a hot blooded and thick headed moron.
Her son Diago, on the other hand?
"YEAH! KICK ASS AND TAKE NAMES, PAPA!"
Worry forgotten, Nami looked at her son.
"Where did you hear that, little monkey?!"
"...Uncle Sanji and Zoro?" Diago answered weakly.
The orange haired woman made a note to beat those morons silly when she next saw them...
GRUMBLE
Daigo pouted before he spied a funny looking fruit...
Back at Marineford
"...Okay, new plan." Kaido announced, annoyed at Luffy's declaration. "We save that Ace brat and his kid, THEN I'll kill you and the rubber runt, old man!"
Big Mom cackled at Luffy's incredulity before Whitebeard smirked and gave his son's little brother a boost towards the Execution platform, Marco and King defending him.
Eventually...!
"Ever since we were kids, you never were able to listen to me, huh Luffy?" Ace smiled as he held Izuku in one hand.
The Straw-hat captain just beamed at the sight; his brother and nephew were free!
"Then you run off and do something crazy!" Ace chuckled, pulling Luffy and Mr. 3 out of the flames. "just like old times, huh?"
"Not quite!"
Yamato joined the four, defending Izuku and Mr. 3 as Luffy and Ace handled the attacking Marines. Perspero suddenly appeared and kicked several more sneaky marines away. Mass cries of relief and joy filled the air as the four Pirates, back to back, made their way through the hordes of enemies.
They were almost home free...but then one man blocked their path.
Admiral Akainu.
"So, now that you and your brat have been saved, the pirates flee? Hmph. What a bunch of cowards...like Whitebeard."
Ace paused in his step.
"Daddy?" Izuku asked, only to find himself in his uncle's arms.
"Take. That. Back."
"Ace!" Luffy called out. "Now's not the time!"
"Daddy, lets go home!" Izuku begged, but his father was to enraged to hear him.
"Its true, isn't it?" Akainu asked. "Like it or not, your father conquered the Grand Line and, as much as I hate to admit it, earned his title as King of the Pirates. What has Whitebeard one? Kept a few islands safe and cultivated the image of a hero? HA! What a laugh."
Ace's form erupted into flames as magma burst from Akainu's.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MAN WHO SAVED MY LIFE! THIS IS HIS ERA! FIRE FIST!"
"HELLHOUND!"
"No, daddy! Don't!" Izuku called out too late. His father was sent reeling back and the boy managed to break from his uncle's arms.
"Should've listened to your brat. My magma is superior to your fire." Akainu growled. "...The son and grandson of Roger. The Son of Dragon. So much evil in this place. I may not get everyone else, but..."
He spied Izuku running towards his father, only to pause when the Red Hound's eyes met his own. Ace realized this.
"No, wait!" He begged as Akainu leapt upwards. "IZUKU!"
The little boy winced and covered himself...but the blow never came. Izuku opened his eyes to a horrific sight:
His father standing in front of him, a weak smile on his face as a magma enxrsted fist tore through his chest.
"..Izu..." Ace started, smiling as the light faded from his eyes and he fell to the ground.
...
...
"D-daddy?" Izuku begged, his eyes full of tears. "D-daddy?"
No answer. Fire-Fist Ace...was dead. And then, something awesome yet horrific happened:
As Izuku let out a primal, desperate scream, two waves erupted from his form, the ground around him cracking and falling downwards, as did many of the weaker willed Marines and Pirates knocked out by the Haki of the Grandson of the Pirate King.
"DIE, SPAWN OF FIRE FIST!" Akainu roared at the bawling four year old, who was too distraught to realize he had awakened the Will of a Conqueror
"IZUKU, NO!" Luffy hurriedly and desperately leapt forward, Jinbei, Yamato and Marco following in suit
"PURGE!"
...only for black ice to block Akainu's path and his arm to fall off. Only here? He felt it, falling to his knees and clutching his bleeding stump of an arm
Looking up, the Dog of the Marines...promptly lost his bravery and shat himself
Standing above him...was the man who even the Emperors feared; the Bastard of the Celestial Dragons; dethroner of kings, the true heir to Rocks D Xebec...and husband to Vivi Nefatriri.
Achilles D. Lor
Disaster of the Seas/ Second Son of Kaido
Captain of the New ROCKS pirates and King of Alabasta
The man smiled as he stood over the now cowering marines
"HAKAIHAKAIHAKAIAHAKAI! Where's your bravado now? You were all going on about ABSOLUTE Justice after all?"
His arms then became Magma, awakening Akainu to swung his remaining arm, a clash occurred, with the hat melting the ice they stood on...but Achilles stood without aid as his feet became one with the water. Akainu meanwhile, began to drown before he was pulled back up
"First, Ohara. Now Ace. Time for you fools..to learn why I'm called the Disaster of the Seas!"
The skies darkened as the earth began to quake and winds began to blow...All this from one man.
Achilles then saw Izuku, holding his father's body and sobbing. Memories filled the Disaster's head...and for a brief moment, his sadistic smile vanished.
"YAMATO! GET THE KID AND HIS DAD OUT OF HERE!" He returned focus to Akainu. "Not even Pops'll be able to stomach what I'm about to do to this mutt."
Yamato obeyed his brother and gently took the four year old into his arms, King cradling Ace's form
"It's okay, Izu..." Yamato softly said as she held Izuku close.
"Daddy..." Izuku whimpered, his throat raw from crying.
King sighed as they neared the Moby Dick
"I wouldn't dooo thaaaaat..." Kizaru started, only to be blocked by Smoker
"Ace is dead! We accomplished our goal. Leave the boy alone!"
"That's insubordinate..."
Two jaws promptly slammed onto him, but he turned into light and kicked away their owner.
"DARLING!" Hancock screamed as her husband, X Drake, in full Allosaur form, was sent flying
"FORGET ME, HELP IZU!" The scarred S.W.O.R.D leader demanded, before glaring at Sengoku. "Consider that my resignation."
Any activity was stopped when Akainu let out a scream; one of Achilles' arms was now coated in Darkness while the other wind, slicing the Admiral's arm off.
"So many options..." The Disaster mused. "Should I fry you? Electrocute? Freeze and shatter? Burn? Oh I know HOW ABOUT ALL THE ABOVE?!"
"You...you scum!" Akainu choked out, blood pooling out of his mouth in droves.
"Oh I'm scum? I'M SCUM?! Ha! Who genocided an entire island 'just in case one criminal got away?' Whose organization has weakling who think themselves right to lord over others...all while claiming to do just work? Who pursues children fr crimes their ancestors committed, yet ignores things like YOU being a street rat who killed to eat? At least we 'scum' are honest! And besides...do you REALLY want to badmouth the person who holds your life in his hands?"
Perhaps it was blood loss and pain, but Akainu let this out
"That...Whore princess...and your brat...! The Navy will...!"
"The Navy will be OBLITERATED before they lay a single finger on my family!" Achilles snarled as he squeezed his hand tighter around Akainu's neck, causing him to choke in agony as his vertebrae started cracking!
The dog then found himself slammed into the melting ice, only to be brought up and gasping for air
"And you just sped up your death." Achilles smirked as he rose his free hand.
Said hand was then coated in flames, then magma, wind, ice, lightning...and finally, a Quake Bubble
Akainu's eyes widened, tears actually slipping from them. Then Achilles' arm was coated in black...with a strange white aura floating around it
Now tears truly flew from the red Mutt's eyes
The attack hit Akainu head on...and then it surged through him, towards the Execution platform..and the main tower of Marineford
Neither survived, but Akainu, STILL alive after all that, gasped in pain and horror
"Picked that up from a Samurai in Wano. Ya know, the country that closed itself off from you guys." Achilles smirked, mostly to Sengoku. "And just so ya know? I know people from the kids' world who can do even worse than that. And they ain't happy about what you've done here today."
Akainu coughed up a gallon of blood, his once proud tanned skin now a ghostly pale as Achilles's put his foot on his head.
"Oh yeah. YOU'RE still here."
SQUISH!
"...Or not."
He then backed away and gave a bow before shouting
"BACK TO THE NEW WORLD EVERYBODY!"
"Wait..." one Subordinate Captain asked. "Does he mean OUR New World or the kids?"
"Honestly, I don't even know..."
Before anyone could continue, a laughter cut through the air:
"ZEHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"...Of COURSE that asshole shows up now." Achilles and Luffy grumbled together.
"Teach..." Whitebeard glared.
Izuku clung onto Yamato, who glared at the man who had imprisoned his friend and the poor boy:
Marshal D Teach...and he wasn't alone; on top of his crew, he now had several Impel Down Level Six prisoners with him.
"Long time no see, Pops!" Teach smirked. "Glad I could make it to your funeral!"
"You fat bastard..." The aged legend growled, his rage barely contained as the wounds he had amassed began building up. Kaido and Big Mom where shocked to hear this.
"Wait...Newgate...cursing at one of his own?" Kaido asked
"Well, that's the punk who killed Thatch..."
"Can't say I was expecting you two!" Teach said, then spying Izuku. "Aw, Izzy my boy! Did ya have fun with daddy?"
Izuku hid behind Yamato as Blackbeard sneered, only further angering the Son of Kaido
"YOU did this?! WHY?!" Yamato growled
Before Teach could answer, Whitebeard was already upon his former son, no hesitation in cutting him and knocking his crew away
"AAAAH! IT HURTS! IT HURTS! DAMN THIS YAMI-YAMI FRUIT!"
A massive hand wrapped around the fat bastard's neck
"You're arrogant. Stupid. You broke the one rule EVERY pirate adheres to!"
Kaido and Big Mom could SWEAR they saw Rocks in Whitebeard's place.
"Letting you in my crew...? That's the ONE mistake Oden and I ever did!"
He then summoned a quake bubble
"W-wait Pops! I'm your son!" Blackbeard begged
No one else noticed his hands were wrapped in darkness...no one except
"GRANDPA LOOK OUT!"
Too late
Edward grunted in pain as Teach wrapped his darkness-coated hands around his neck before he delivered a punch that sent the legendary pirate to the ground before forcing his darkness up and calling fourth:
"LIBERATION!"
Hundreds of weapons, ships and soliders flew through the air, scattering many fighters, both pirates and heroes alike.
"YAMATO!" Kaido and Achilles both blocked what they could, the Headliners following in suit. However, the force was too much and Izuku slipped out of Yamato's grip and into the crowd of on-lookers
"IZUKU!" Luffy, Marco, Yamato, Most of the Whitebeard Pirates, Beast Pirates, Neo Rock Pirates, and Big Mom Pirates cried.
Kizaru suddenly manifested, along with Bastille and several other 'Absolute Justice Marines
"Let's wrap this up, put the kid out of his miser..."
A can suddenly went through him.
"Huuuuh?"
He turned to see a little girl, no older than Izuku, standing firmly in spite of her tear-stained eyes. She had chestnut brown hair and rosy cheeks
"Leave him alone!" She begged.
"Young lady, I don't know why you did that, but if you give us a few seconds..."
"He hasn't done anything wrong! He just lost his daddy, isn't that enough?" she demanded.
Bastille growled
"Justice has to be swift and make no exceptions. If you support this..."
He suddenly froze in place and Aokiji now stood between his former allys and the kids.
"Girly, Take him and run." The 'Lazy' admiral demanded
"Come on..." The girl said, gently helping Izuku to his feet, but they were cut off by Dalmatian
"FINGER...!"
"HANDS OFF MY SON!"
He was kicked away by a tearful Jewellery Bonney and turned into a bawling baby
"Bonney, NO!" Cried Marco as he flew forward, activating his wings with his Bird-Bird Fruit Model Phoenix. He knew what his brother's wife was carrying and he couldn't risk any harm coming to them.
Knocking the other Marines away, he picked up the three and took to the skies
"Girl, if you see your parents...!" He started
"Down there!"
Marco flew as lowly as he could and let her go into her mother's arms before racing back to the sky towards the Moby Dick, only for Kizaru to block his path
"This is as far as you..."
He then found himself being pulled downwards straight into a clash between Whitebeard and Blackbeard...and meeting their fists. He was dead before he realized it.
"I wasn't going to just stand around and be a nobody, Pops!" Teach sneered. "I have dreams of my own! Aspirations!"
"And for that you murdered your brother?!" Whitebeard roared.
"He had the Devil Fruit I wanted! The only reason I joined you was because I KNEW you were the best chance I had of finding it!"
Kaido and Big Mom were disgusted by this, but were too concerned keeping their crews safe to intervene.
And then Teach, that smug grin on his face...
BALM!
Whitebeard staggered back, the bullet from Teach's gun hitting a lung and making his body register all the pain it had been pushing aside.
Teach's crew reappeared and rained down bullets and blades onto Whitebeard, who stood firm and took every blow.
The Whitebeards and their allies screamed in fear, the older Big Mom Pirates stood in awe of 'Uncle Whitey' and Kaido grit his teeth, for ONCE wanting to be dishonourable and fight alongside Newgate...who was not leaving here alive.
When it finally ended, everyone gasped for air.
"Its not you..."
All eyes widened
"NO!" Teach screamed in fear. "YOU CAN'T BE ALIVE!"

He grinned and looked up
"Ya hear that Sengoku? You, the Gosei, the Nobles? Hell, even the Heroes of Izu's world? All you know will be shaken to the core...Someone is coming to finish what Xebec and Roger started...and you'll all have no one but yourselves to blame for it. Someone who will carry the ancient histories, hold the future in their hands...And...I have no interest in it myself, but...That grand treasure...Heh. Now I wish I'd live long enough to see it."
He remembered Roger; his rival, his friend...his brother in all but blood and crew. And with his final breath and a smile on his face, Edward Newgate shouted these words:
"THE ONE PIECE IS REAL! AND MY GRANDSON WILL BECOME THE WORLDS' GREATEST HERO!"
The air went silent, the full weight of his words dawning on everyone...Roger had not been bluffing; the One Piece was out there for the taking. And! Roger's bloodline not only lived on, but the Strongest Man foresaw a reality where the Pirate King's grandson...became a hero? While the World Government and Nobles refused to believe this, many heroes made a note to keep an eye on the boy.
Even in the sky, in his mother's arms, Izuku held in his sobs.
Kaido knelt down to one knee. Big Mom followed. Both let tears escape their eyes, possibly because they were still in denial that what they saw was real.
The Whitebeard Pirates and their allies began to sob but also fell to one knee.
Perspero took off his hat and forced his tongue into his mouth. His sibling followed in suit
The Headliners and Tobi Roppo saluted the great man
"N-now way...He's...!"
Teach was shocked, but even Blackbeard couldn't help but give his former father-figure a salute of respect along with the rest of his crew:
Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate. The Strongest Man in the world. Bounty of 5,046 Billion Berries. Aged 72 and in failing health. Died on his feet, after having been slashed and stabbed 267 times, shot by 152 bullets, and hit by 46 cannonballs. Even then, he did not have a single wound on his back.
His last thoughts before dying were of his brother Oden, his fights with Roger, meeting each and every one of his children, Ace and Bonney's wedding...and holding a newborn Izuku in his hands for the first time.
