I'm a new Author and I present to you a new story. I took the 2003 version of how Martel escape but everything else will be from the 2009 version, abet with my own twist and turns. : Enjoy! FullMetal Alchemsit does not beling to me, nor do any of the characters under it.

Fairness. Equality. Equivalent exchange. All these things consist of an all powerful truth, a knowledge that cannot be disputed. I knew this. Yet I sinned none the less. Sometimes, Ed just wished he were ignorant, that he could escape the nightmare that was his life.

A smile was all anyone needed to know that something had changed. That one smile that lit up his face and made him glow, limitless happiness shone through his sunshine eyes with the power to strike anyone down with the sheer force of its radiance. Ed now has Al back in the flesh, and the changes in him are obvious to everyone.

Edward is gone, and Al is left waiting for him to return. But as the years go by and the chances of that happening decrease, Al wonders if he will ever see that flash of gold and red he has been longing for.

Roy had always had Edward to protect him, but when an assassin comes along and Ed protects him again, what will Roy do when the price of that protection is too great? RoyxEd

Ed's sick so Al reports in to a curious Roy Mustang. You know what they say, Curiosity killed the cat! Roy finds Ed in a terrible condition and helps him get better. The next day Roy gets sick while he's in the office and watches Ed, who is amused by the whole thing and he goes up to him and...RoyEd. One-shot.

Edward's been through a lot of scary situations. He's lost an arm and a leg, joined the military, fought powerful foes, both human and inhuman, and much more. But the fear that he feels when his daughter asks him to teach her Alchemy is…unbelievable. A short story.

Ed and Roy have found a lover and companion in each other but everything and eveyone is going to get in the way of their happy ending.

When Ed witnesses Mustang's nightmare, he gets a glimpse of what is behind the mask. Now he wants to know more, but Roy is loathe to let anyone in. Good old Romance-Hurt-Comfort-mixed with a tad of Political Intrigue. Also, possibly some heart-wrench. Rated for language and possible situations further down the line. WARNING: A bit AU.
