Hey everyone here is the remastered version of Naruto Senju of the Hidden Leaf. Hope you all enjoy the new version. Dont worry i wont delete the old version so no worries about that. Now on with the story.
It was a quite, peaceful night as the people of Konoha went about their usual buisness. Without a care in the world, people were chatting, eating out, doing buisness, staying out late, the usual stuff. It was a night of much activity. Children were laughing as they raced down the streets, couples enjoying romantic evenings, elders resting in the parks, everyone was having the time of their lives.
"Ahhhhh this hurts so bad" a woman screamed from the distance.
Well almost everyone. Deep in the village sector in a hidden area in the a cave guarded by the elite ANBU laid a woman of 23 with long red hair and violet eyes strapped to a large table with her husband Minato Namikaze standing close with his hands upon her belly. Reason being to keep the seal on her naval from breaking since child birth is the achillies heel for female jinchuuriki, allowing the tailed beast to escape.
Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze aka the Crimson death the most feared kunoichi second to Tsunade herself was gripping the sides of the table as the nurses tended to her.
"Ahhhhh Minato when this is all over I'm going to make sure you never touch me again" Kushina screamed while pushing. "You'll be sleeping on the couch for the next century!"
Minato sweat dropped, becoming a little scared. Well who wouldn't be if your pregnant wife was one of the most dangerous women in the country. The nurses told Kushina she was doing great and that she could see the head.
"That's it Kushina just a little more" said Biwako Sarutobi.
"Hurry up kids and get out of your mother soon, i dont know how much longer i can hold the kyuubi in." Minato shouted with panic in his voice.
A loud wail was heard as a healthy baby boy was born. He was the spitting image of his father in every detail except he had his mother's red hair. Another wail soon followed as their second child, a baby girl was born. She unlike her brother had Minato's hair but looked more like her mother.
"Congrats my dear you have healthy twins" Biwako chuckled.
"I can't believe that I'm finally a father." Minato sniffled wiping his tears away before reaching out only to have his hands slapped away by Biwako.
"uh uh mother's always see the child first." Biwako scolded him like a child.
Minato let out a small groan mumbling "not fair" under his breath.
"Oooh Minato quit your crying and come meet your children." Kushina said jokingly.
"They are beautiful Kushi chan" he smiled gazing at them. "What shall we call them?"
"I was thinking Menma for the boy and Mito for the girl." Kushina smiled.
"Menma and Mito it is" Minato said proudly.
Outer Forests of the Hidden Leaf: Domain of the Wolves
Deep in the heart of the forest another woman was giving birth. She was a image of raw beauty as if forged by the gods themselves. She had dark blue eyes and short, straight earthly brown hair with bangs slightly parted in the middle. Her skin was absolutely flawless some even say you could see it glisten in the sun or moonlight. Her beautiful face was decorated with amaranth red war paint. Around her neck was a necklace with three fangs tied. She also wore long, dangling, oval shaped earrings. She was guarding by two strong male wolves that stood protectively around her.
This woman was San Mononoke, the princess of beasts and gods, the high priestess of the divine sisters, the wolf princess, and wolf sage. A woman who braved through many challenges in her life since childhood, when she was abandoned by her parents, who she later discovered in life were Suki Senju, the granddaughter of Tobirama Senju and Okami Inuzuka, the cousin of Tsume Inuzuka. But now here she was, blessed with a precious gift from the death goddess herself. She was blessed with a beautiful baby boy as Shinigami had divinely inseminated her 9 months earlier. Why would she do that? Simple they were lovers for a quite a while.
San was trying to keep herself alive and healthy for the baby. She panted and sweated as the contractions continued. Moro, her mother helped her to the best of her abilities after all she delievered two godlike wolf pups for crying out loud.
After a painful 30 minutes she heard the beautiful sound of her baby's crying. Gazing down he looked like her but his eyes and hair were identical to his celestial mother. San was happy and crying tears of joy. She was finally a mother, she held him close in her arms as she spoke softly to him. Her two older wolf brothers came over and sniffed him. Moro, the matriarch of the pack gazed down upon the child. She didn't need to be a seer to know that life for the child was going to be a tough one.
Konohagakure: South District
A masked man slipped into an alleyway without being seen. The man was dressed in a hooded cloak and wore a ornate swirled mask upon his face. He also had a pair of Sharingan eyes which you can see through his eye holes in the mask. He was a rouge Uchiha who went by the name Madara Uchiha after the original. Hoping his plan would go smoothly he immediatly slammed his hand down.
"ShÅkan-jutsu" he yelled as the sealing formula spread across the alley and a big explosion of smoke appeared.
The wind from the summoning blew hard getting the attention of many who tried to block the incoming smoke and debris. When the smoke cleared one of the villagers immediatly took notice.
"But...thats the..." the villager said as a loud growl echoed through the sky.
"KYUUBI!" another shouted as villagers and civilians scattered screaming.
"Go Kyuubi" the masked man ordered.
The Kyuubi's eyes turned into Sharingans as the fox went on a violent rampage demolishing buildings with mere swipes of his large claws and sending poor civilians into the air with just a single roar. The sounds of its mighty roar pulsed through the whole area alerting the Anbu that were guarding lord fourth and his wife.
"Lord Fourth The Nine-Tails..." an Anbu, High level Ninja, started. "The Ninetails is attacking the village"
"You and the rest of your men will assist me. we will head straight on and try to suppress the Kyuubi." Minato ordered.
"Right!" The Anbu said and vanished
"What are you going to do, Minato?" Kushina asked.
"I'm going to aid my fellow ninja to stop the ninetails. If all else fails then I will have choice but to seal it."
"Minato kun you know that only an Uzumaki can hold the ninetails." Kushina stated. "Let me be the one to contain it."
"I admire your bravery Kushina but your body is to weak right now to withstand that ninetails even with your special chakra."
"What about the village priestess? I know she was due to give birth today perhaps you can use her child to seal away the ninetails. Especially since she has connections with the spirit world." Kushina suggested.
"I would be a coward if I couldn't make the sacrifice to use one of my own children. I'm sorry to ask this of you Kushina but I must use them to seal the Kyuubi if we can't push it back from the village."
"Minato, i know im being selfish, but think smart here. We know that the priestesses of the old religon live secluded lives away from the outside world. Her child would be raised in the way of its ancestors plus the girl is part of the Senju clan. The village wouldnt risk harming the child as many of them still follow the old religon."
"You know as well as I do San wont agree to it. But your point does have merit. I'll go talk with her. " Minato said before vanishing via Hirashin.
Domain of the Wolves
Moro could see beyond the trees, the destruction her old friend was wreaking. Moro was old friends with the tailed beasts in the old days of the Six Path. In fact she was welcomed as an honorary tailed beasts due to her strength, her capabilites, and the fact she was a goddess with two tails. It saddened her to see the friend she grew up with and loved close to her heart succumb to such low standards.
Hearing a rustle in the bushes behind her she braced herself, unsheathed her claws, fur bristling, and teeth baring at the direction of the sound.
"Come out human, i can smell the rancid smell of ramen all over you." Moro growled.
Minato appeared from the bushes and approached the wolves with caution. "Mighty Moro of the wolves, I have come to speak with the priestess San."
"What pitiful concern requires the need for our sister?" one of the wolf pups asked.
"let him speak brother" San said standing up holding her baby close.
"As you can see the Kyuubi is ramaging through the village. My people are dying and we cant hold it back forever!." Minato pleaded desperately for their help.
"And why should this be any concern of mine?" Moro snarled. "Need I remind you that we dont interfere with mortals. The Kyuubi is your problem not mine."
"What about the people that pray and worship you?" Minato shouted at the large wolf. "Are you just going to sit on your lazy ass and do nothing!".
"SILENCE BOY!" Moro roared knocking Minato on his ass. "I may be a god to you mortals, but when compared to the Kyuubi thats a different story. Now i suggest you leave."
"I came to ask San if she would allow me to seal the Kyuubi within..."
San's brothers snarled before Moro pounced Minato before he could finish.
"FINISH THAT SENTENCE AND ILL RIP THAT PRETTY HEAD OFF YOUR SHOULDERS. NO ONE USES MY GRANDPUP!." Moro screamed with a loud snarl as drool leaked from her maw. Her teeth shown close by Minato's face like she was about to bite.
Minato shuddered and whimpered feeling the wolf's breath against his face. He looks up to see San pressing a sword to his throat.
"San please, its to save Konoha."
"NO ONE USES MY BABY, SUGGEST IT AGAIN ILL CUT YOUR THROAT!" San threatened.
"Forgive me." he said before poofing.
"shadow clone!" Moro growled before hearing San scream.
The wolf goddess turned to see Minato manage to rip the child from his mother's arms. Moro roared as she charged.
"its for Konoha's surival im sorry." Minato apologized, vanishing with the child.
San gritted her teeth as tears ran down her face. The man she trusted stole her baby to use as a jinchuuriki. Forget her priestess duties, she was out for blood.
Lowering her mask she jumped upon her brother's back and left for the battlefield to get her baby back.
Outer Village permiter:
On the battlefield many shinobi along with the aid of Hiruzen and the Uchiha clan were fighting a losing battle against the might of the ninetails. Kyuubi was laughing at the pitiful attempts made by the humans. The fox continued on with his destruction until he paused and set his sight on the Hokage monument. Atop the fourth hokage's stone head Minato appeared on the tip of the sculpted head's hair. Minato looked to see the chaos in the village. He then noticed the Kyuubi had spotted him.
"So you finally took notice of me?" Minato said and the Kyuubi started gathering a ball of energy to unleash a Bijudama. Minato held out one of his trademark Kunai in front of himself as the tailed beast bomb shot out from the ninetails mouth and headed towards Minato at a quick pace. Suddenly a sealing formula appeared in the air. It acted like a portal as it absorbed the ball of energy and made it reappear a few miles north of the village as it exploded.
"Such strength. It is a death sentence to let you run wild." Minato said and then he felt something behind him.
Acting accordingly he attacked said presence, revealing it to be the Masked Man. Minato's swung his kunai in a slanted direction only for it to go right through the masked man's head as if he wasn't even there. It was like attacking the air. The masked man grabbed Minato's arms and suddenly started swallowing Minato into his eye. Minato figured it wasn't a good thing to get caught by this attack and vanished from danger.
"So fast. You certainly live up to your moniker name." the masked man said and then he vanished too.
"Darn, just a second later and I'd be done..." Minato panted.
"You can't escape so easily." the masked man's voice came and then he appeared in front of Minato.
"Darn it. I cant seem to shake this guy, plus there is also the village being attacked by the Nine-Tails...What do I do.." Minato took a second to think about it and then built his resolve. "I'll just have to deal with him, he might prove to be a bigger threat than the ninetails."
Minato and the Masked man stood there ready to face-off against each other. the Masked man let loose a set of long chains from his sleeves. Minato held his Kunai ready for battle and stuck another one in front of himself.
"This village will finally fall and then I can finally put my plan into action" the man said and rushed Minato.
They ran onto each other and then Minato ran through him and got wrapped in the chains as the Masked man attempted to absorb him again. Minato teleported to the Kunai on the ground and kicked the man away.
the two rushed each other again. Minato immediately charged a small ball of Chakra on his right hand and threw his Kunai at the man. The Kunai went right through the man. The masked man tried grabbing Minato, but at that the last second Minato vanished appeared above the man and thrusted the Chakra ball to the the man's back. Minato had also managed to place a contract severment seal on him cutting off his control from the Kyuubi.
"You may have broken my connection to the Nine tails fourth hokage, but my goal is complete. The stage is set so I'll be back." the man's voice echoed from all around as he vanished from sight.
"What was his goal anyway? What am i saying i cant think about that now I must hurry back to the Village." Minato said vanishing. "good thing i left a blood clone with the child. I really dont want to do this, but sometimes sacrifices must be made."
The Kyuubi was barely being suppressed by the Leaf Shinobi and the Third Hokage. The Kyuubi was a magnificent force of nature that couldn't be tamed by anyone. It was the strongest of all tailed beasts for a very very good reason. Casualties were shooting through the roof, the numbers had reached over four hundred.
"Lord third! the casualties have already reached over four hundred." an Anbu informed him.
"Just a bit longer everyone. we must keep our ground." Hiruzen said
The Kyuubi once again started gathering the energy ball and it was aimed at Hiruzen and the rest of the Village.
"This is bad..." Hiruzen said grimly.
Then out of nowhere a gigantic Toad appeared and held the Kyuubi down.
"A giant Toad?" a Shinobi said
"Its Lord Fourth!" Another man said
"GamaBunta! Hold him down for a few seconds." Minato called
"Easier said than done. Just hurry it up." the Toad replied Minato jumped down from the toad's head and right before reaching the Kyuubi, he activated the Hirashin. Minato managed to transport himself, the Fox and the tailed beaat bomb away from everyone.
"Where did they go?" Hiruzen said when suddenly there was an explosion near the walls of the village. "Over there. Everyone Move. We must help Minato any way we can...!"
Minato teleported the Kyuubi, outside of the village to avoid any damage to the village and it's people. Seeing there was no other way to stop Kyuubi. He set up the sealing alter and placed the Mononoke heir within it.
The Kyuubi spotted him and recognized the child that was there. They were going to seal him. He stopped for a minute gazing down upon the infant on the altar. He could sense a familar scent.
"That baby, i know the scent of Moro's bloodline. That must be her grandpup. Yet this human is using him to contain me!"
Attempting an attack the fox was confronted by the three sanin and their summonings.
"Minato!" Jiraiya yelled and activated his mud swamp jutsu. "Sensei? What are you doing here?" Minato asked
"I saw the explosion of the Nine-Tail's attack." Jiraiya said stopping the Kyuubi's attack by trapping him in mud. "Hurry, i can't hold the Nine-Tails for long."
"Are you using your children Minato kun" Tsunade asked. "But the Nine-Tails has to be sealed. We can't let it escape or it will destroy the whole village."
Noticing his control on the Kyuubi was getting weak. Jiraiya lost control and shouted "Watch out!"
Gold Chains suddenly appeared and held the Kyuubi down as well as built something like a dome around them making sure it wouldn't escape.
"This is...?" Orochimaru said.
They turned to see the chains come from Kushina's back. It was her specialty. They were used to suppress the enemy and prevented their chakra from working properly. "
"There are only few things I can do now. After giving birth the strain had weakened me too much." Kushina coughed.
"which is why I have decided not to seal him within you or our children." Minato said shocking them.
"What are you planning?" Jiraiys started.
"Simple Jiraiya sensei the Kyuubi is better contained within someone of Senju blood, so as much as it pains me...San's child...is our best option." Minato said.
Tsunade turned to see the child upon the altar and she was horrifed. "Your going to use my second cousin's baby? are you insane?"
"Its for the best, plus he wont experience what jinchuuriki go through. As i have trust in my people."
They hear the mighty howl of the wolves as they see Moro charging at top speed and based on her expression she was pissed.
"Shiki Fuin." Minato yelled performing the hand signs.
Gray silverly mist formed behind Minato as a celestial figure of divinity appeared behind him. She stood at 6 ft 4, wore black plated amor, her long hair shining under the shine of the blood red moon. She bore on her face an emotionless expression. Within her hand was a long scyth carved from the bone of an ancient dragon during the days of old.
"why have you summoned me, you disgusting flesh bag."
"Mighty Shinigami I have asked you to seal the ninetails within this child i have placed before you." Minato asked nervously moving away so the goddess could see the child.
The goddess approached the altar and bent down to pick the child up. The baby showed no fuss or any other expression. He was completely calm. The little one opened his eyes at her as she narrowed hers. This child had the same eyes as her. In fact even his chakra was identical to hers.
She turned to the fourth hokage and spoke slowly with anger in every word. "Who's child is this that you brought before me?" she demanded.
"The child of the High Priestess, San Mononoke." Minato answered her quickly.
A hand gripped his neck cutting off the flow of oxygen. Minato choked as he was lifted off the ground.
"My Lady, w-what have I done to anger you?" Minato gagged.
"You dare kidnap a child of the gods!" Shingami shouted demanding answers.
"Child of the gods?" Orochimaru asked, intrigued by this new information.
"The child you asked me to seal the kyuubi into, is a very special child born from the union of San Mononoke and myself. I should kill you where you stand for kidnapping my child."
"MINATO! I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU!"
"Well it seems my wife wants the first taste of blood. So here whats going to happen. I'll seal the Kyuubi into the boy but the payment will be most satisfying. A child for a child."
"What?" Minato gasped. "No you cant do that. i wont accept the deal."
"Its to late you already asked me to seal the Kyuubi into my own son. Therfore i'm taking the soul of one your children as payment."
Kushina gasped at the horror of losing one of her children. Why did she ever suggest using San's baby. She threw herself at the mercy of the goddess and confessed to her crime.
"please spare my children i beg of you. It was I who told Minato to use the boy, not him. I am the one to be punished not my children please take me instead of my babies. My children are innocent in all of this." Kushina broke down before her.
She looked down upon the sniveling, groveling, and disgusting human before her. This woman dares beg her for mercy after she did. Oooh no this woman had another thing coming. Turning around she grabbed hold of the fox and pulled the mighty beast within her son. The Kyuubi was placed within a golden barred cage with a sealing tag over the lock. Turning back to the Namikaze family she grinned.
"time for my payment, but ill change it up a bit. I wont take one of your children." she said hearing sighs of relief from the group. "I'll take the chakra from the uzumaki and her husband."
She was met with cries of protest and stupid reasons like how his abilities helped keep Iwa and Kumo off their backs, how the Hirashin made him one of the feared ninjas in existence. she silenced them saying it was either that or the life of their firstborn. Seeing there was no other option and they couldnt back out as the sealing was complete they agreed.
Like the feeling of a passing a kidney stone but 1000 times worse. Minato and Kushina felt their very chakra leaving them. They still retained their knowledge but could no longer use it for themselves. After a few minutes they were left charkaless husks.
"I'm not finished yet" the deity snarled. "You both have to pay for kidnapping my child. Therefore i sentence to Minato to die by Moro's jaws. You will tell the village he died sealing the beast into the boy." She whistled as Moro charged at the group.
Minato looks at Kushina and whispered softly to her. "I love you." Before he was impaled by San's spear and his head bit clean off with a single chomp from Moro's mighty jaws.
Kushina collapsed to the ground before her husband's headless body and cried towards the heavens. But the heavens wouldn't answer her.
Shinigami took San and company back to the forest where they sat under San's favorite tree. Their baby slept soundly in the death goddess' arms.
"He's beautiful San, our beautiful baby boy." the goddess kissed its forehead. "whats his name?"
"Naruto Ashitaka Mononoke" San proclaimed proudly in honor of her late lover Ashitaka.
"welcome to the world my son, my little maelstrom reaper."
