Chapter 21 My world is burning down

At night in the city a portal opened and from it came a humanoid avian demon girl, she wears a pink glittery dress, a dark feather shawl around her shoulders, pink arm warmers with stars on them, and a pale tiara along with a black beanie hat.

"Finally I'm out of that house."she said and looks at her phone.

She raises an eyebrow and said:"At least he seems better than dad."She walks foward and goes to a part, she waits at a bench and looks at the time, she then takes out the heart sticker they gave her and grunts since she didn't want to put it.

"Excuse me, are you Starfire?"She looks and sees a human guy wearing a white jacket and black pants, he has brown hair and eyes.

"Yeah and are you Hibiki?"She asked.

"Yes, but my name is Hitoshi Hidaka."He said.

"I'm Octavia."She raises an eyebrow since he wasn't going nuts."Aren't you surprised that I'm a demon."

"No, since I dealt with worse."He chuckles making her confused."Anyway, I know a place we can go."he makes her sign to follow him and she does.

They arrived at Fang's cafe and she got surprised seeing all the monsters.

"Oh I see, these are the monsters in this world, I guess it makes sense you would bring me here."She said.

"Yes, a friend told me about this place so let's have a fun time."he takes her to a table and they sit down."Do you want anything?"

"They got any coffee here?"She asked right away.

"Of course, I'll get you one."he runs off.

She then puts her earphones and listens her fav song on her phone, she then puts a hand on her chin and waits.

"Hello."She then grunts and looks to the side to see Draculaura."I didn't think we've met, I'm Draculaura."

"Octavia."She said.

Then her friends came and Clawdeen said:"Well nice to meet ya Octavia, I didn't I've you before in school ghoul."

"That's because I don't."She frowns.

"Well don't need to be rude."Cleo said.

"Well excuse me that I don't feel like talking to strangers!"she yells at Cleo surprising them."I only came with my date."

"Oh from Love Catchers?"Draculaura said.

"Yes."Octavia was confused how did she know.

"I'm in it too, I met so many cute boys but one just makes my heart scream."She smiles.

"Well okay."Octavia said.

"Hey Octavia."They saw Hitoshi come back with a cup.

They got surprised and said:"A normie."

Octavia narrows her eyes."Really, normie."That's the same phrase teens back at where she lives said about humans but that went out of style.

"Well not exactly."Hitoshi said.

"Really?"Lagoona said.

Then a minotaur came and sees Octavia."hey babe."

"What?"She was annoyed.

"Oh no, Manny."Franky said.

"How about you ditch the normie and be with a real manster."he said.

"I'm not interested."she said.

"Now see her."he then got his arm grabbed by Hitoshi who throws him to the side side with a judo flip and he lands in the middle of the place surprising them.

Octavia blinks and said:"Wow, your strong, how did you do that?"

"Because I'm well-trained."he said.

Manny got up and said:"Your going to pay for that normie."

"Well, normaly I don't pick fights but if it's to protect Octavia's honor."he takes out a tunning fork and taps it, he puts it in front of his head making the marking on it appear.

He then gets covered in fire and transforms into Kamen Rider Hibiki.

Octavia did a spit take."What?!"

"He's an Oni!"Draculaura said and they got surprised.

Manny looks at him and said:"Oh crap."

Then Hibiki starts to beat him before he got thrown into a wall and he spits fire at his butt making Manny scream in pain and some laugh at him.

"That's what he got messing with another man's girl."

Hibiki goes back to Octavia and his helmet came off."Well sorry that our date was a little interrupted by him."

"Well at least you got rid of him, aren't you going to change back?"She asked.

"Well..."He got nervous."I'll keep it on in case of a emergency."

"Well after what happened to you know another place we can go?"Octavia asked.

"Well he might do something again so I would agree."Cleo said.

"Well, we could take a walk around the forest."He said.

"Alright."She got up and they went out with the group waving at them.

They were at the woods and were near a lake.

"Well I liked the place we went, but I hate guys like him."Octavia said.

"I can see, did something happen before?"He asked.

She looks at him and sighs."Fine, my dad and my mom aren't in the best relationship, he's sneaking out and let's say having pleasure with a imp."

"Oh."He winces."I'm sorry to hear that."

"Don't be, your a much better guy than him."She said.

"He must still love you right?"He asked.

"Well, yes but he sometimes is too overprotective, if he heard I was here in a date he would flip."She said.

"What about your mom?"Hitoshi said.

"She's more reasonable, she said I better get a man that's better than dad in terms of being faithful."Octavia said.

He smiles and puts a hand on her shoulder making Octavia look at him."Well I hope you can find that guy one day."

She looks at him surprised before she smiled."Thanks, say can you tell me the real reason why you didn't change back?"

He looks around nervous before he whispers to her ear and she blushes."Oh, thank you since I don't want my date to be like that."they then laugh with her rubbing the back of her neck.

"Yeah, it would be more akward compared to now."He said.

"Still that's more of a side effect, so this is why onis don't change back with people around."She said.

"So you heard about us."he said.

"Yes, I heard how you fight evil creatures with sound."She said.

"Yeah, the style of my kind is special."he said.

"Well good thing one didn't appear here since it would have really ruined my date."Octavia said.

"Well you don't have to worry, since I'm not the only oni around."He said.

She looks at him and said:"Don't any of them try this dating program?"

"Well a few, but most has to look after the humans if not well they would be in danger, but let's enjoy our time."he said and they walked together.

After they had they're fun she opens a portal and said:"Well bye."

"Bye."he smiled.

She thinks about it and said:"Oh screw it."she then kisses his cheek surprising him."That's for before."She goes inside and he smiles.

He walks away and he felt happy with today.

They rated they're date a 8 mostly because of Manny and Octavia being irritated by the girls bugging her.
