Frank sighed as she entered her small apartment, flicking on the dim blue mood lighting that turned the room into an eerie mass of shadows that weren't so much lit by the blue glow as sharply defined by it. Tossing off the ridiculous uniform she had to wear as a Gringotts Curse-Breaker, she made her way to the bathroom and the nice hot bath that would be awaiting her there.
There were days that Frank absolutely detested her name. Her parents had been as obsessed with Muggle culture as that Weasley fellow, and they had gotten her name from a stage play they'd gone to see back in the early Seventies. She'd gotten no end of teasing about it since then. It had however been her parents' obsession with Muggle culture that had led Frank to finding one thing that she absolutely loved however.
Fortunately, nobody had found her hidden cache of what she had recently learned was called Fan Fiction which was related to that which she so adored, or if they had, they'd never called her on it. Since it wasn't on company time or paper, it was none of their business anyway.
As soon as Frank was settled in her bath, she indulged in her favorite guilty pleasure, reading in the bath. Flicking the Fellowship of the Ring open to her favorite part, she read once more, once again wishing she were in Middle Earth, and growing increasingly excited as she read of the Fellowship's flight through the mines of Moria.
Flipping the book closed at the point where Gandalf the Grey turns to face the Balrog, she climbed out of her bath, toweled herself off, dressed in her nightclothes, and headed to bed. As soon as she crawled into her bed, she closed her eyes despite the fact that she wasn't all that sleepy. When she opened them, she found herself someplace other than her apartment, somewhere she had been picturing for years, and had had a solid mental image of since the day she'd gone to that Muggle theater to watch the Lord of the Rings movies on the big screen.
Rather than being in her pyjamas as she'd been moments earlier, Frank finds herself wearing beautifully made armor that makes her look both strong and enticingly feminine. In her hands is a pike that is taller than she is. Before her is the Fellowship who have gathered to assist Frodo in his task who are making a running retreat from a veritable army of Goblins and Orcs.
When they notice her in their path, she finds that there is only one thing she can say to the furry footed halfling small-fries, the ugly dwarf, the stupid wizard, the smelly humans and the pansy elf.
"I am Frank N. Furter of the Gringott Horde, and YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" Frank the she-Goblin yells as she holds her pike ready for battle.
