Chapter 12 – Shadow Fist Guild Birthday Bash Part 1
Somewhere in the multiverse, we open to a world with unique rocky terrains, strange flora and even a green sky and what was even strange was that there were what looked like a bunch of moons seen in the sky even though it's currently the afternoon. This… is the world simply known as Edolas.
Edolas was once a world full of magic which included floating islands with streams of flouting rivers streaming through them. But unlike other worlds where magic was infinite and flowed everywhere within all living things, the magic of Edolas was limited and were stored into objects such as a crystal called a Lacrima which could be stored into other objects in order to give them magical properties.
It was because Edolas was limited on magic that the king of Edolas Faust, outlawed the use of magic and disbanded all magic guilds, but one guild refused to be disbanded turning it into a dark guild. That dark guild was known as Fairy Tail, a magic guild that stood together as family and for years, they resisted against the royal army so that they could defend their way of life, there were some other guilds besides them who resisted but were eventually destroyed by the royal army, leaving them the only guild standing and they've been on the run ever since while being pursued by the royal army's most powerful commander Erza Knightwalker who also went by the name Fairy Hunter, due to how many members of Fairy Tail she's hunted down including their guild master.
Their constant running ended when they met the Fairy Tail of a world parallel to their own called Earth Land, where unlike Edolas, magic was infinite and it was in Edolas that Earth Land Fairy Tail stopped king Faust from executing a plan of turning the Exceeds (feline creatures that were the only beings carrying infinite magic in them) into lacrimas and destroying their home Extalia in order to turn Edolas into a world like Earth Land at the cost of sacrificing the Exceeds along with those they trapped within a lacrima from Earth Land.
And in order to stop king Faust's ambition, his son prince Jellal or better known as Mystogan, a friend and member of Earth Land's Fairy Tailhad the magic of Edolas sucked away thus returning Earth Land Fairy Tail back to their home but also sending the Exceeds with them and completely turning Edolas into a world without magic but despite that, as 9 years passed, Edolas continued to prosper without magic and under Mystogan's rule and Edolas Fairy Tail now currently serve as a courier guild.
Right now, we go to a rocky desert-like area with a few trees nearby where we join a figure walking down the path of the desert.
This figure was a tall middle-aged humanoid male crocodile with brown reptilian skin with a light brown inner area from his upper jaw down to his chest, crocodile head with sharp teeth, strong muscular build, humanoid five finger hands with crocodile talons, crocodile tail, humanoid crocodile feet with talons on them, a few scars on his chest, shoulders and a claw scar on his left side from up past his eye and down to his cheek with his left eye intact and yellow reptilian eyes. He's clad in a dark gray t-shirt under a black open duster coat, a pair of black pants with a brown belt with a silver buckle containing a sigil of a black raised up fist and his tail sticking out of the back, a pair of black cowboy boots with a pair of silver spurs on the back of the heal, a black computer wrist watch on his left wrist and a black felt wide brimmed cowboy hat worn on his head. This cowboy crocodile… is Jake Sobek or better known as Hunter Sobek, an anthropomorphic crocodile bounty hunter and the Guildmaster of the dimension travelling guild known as the Shadow Fist Guild, a neutral guild known for being a guild mostly filled with thieves, bounty hunters, mercenaries and assassins.
What was the guildmaster of the Shadow Fist guild doing in Edolas? Well, he's currently on a job finding a wanted dimension traveling criminal who happens to end up hiding in Edolas, despite being the guildmaster, Jake is more of a crocodile man of action rather than someone who does all the paper work but despite that, he doesn't neglect his duties as a guildmaster and takes his job as master seriously but whenever he has the time, he would often do at least one job when the opportunity presents itself which was mostly sneaking out of the guild and some of his strict guildmembers would often catch him red handed and drag him back to work but strangely in this case, they allowed him to go on a job for some reason.
It was currently quiet in the area and the only sounds that were heard were the sound of the wind blowing and the sound of Jake's spurs clinking at every step he took.
He then stopped abruptly as he lifted his head up to see something in front of him. That something was a strange giant frog-like creature with pinkish colored skin and red dots, a tail, webbed ears and a dorsal fin on its' back. Now some would find this giant frog creature cute at first due to its' appearance but giant versions of this particular creature can attack you in no time flat when your guard's down.
"Huh… so… decided to get in my way hmm?" said Jake smiling in amusement "Alright then… first one to make the first move on either of us wins…" he challenged.

The atmosphere around the two changed dramatically as they stared at each other with intense narrowed eyes.
The two individuals didn't move a single inch from their spots as the wind blew passed them and even a stray tumbleweed "tumbled" passed in between them.
They continued on with their standoff as the wind made Jake's duster wave in the air while the lizard creature started to make low growling sounds.
Suddenly, the sound of a twig snapping was heard and it caused the lizard creature to lunge at Jake, receiving a huge uppercut to the jaw in return.

"Ha-ha-haaa! I win!" said Jake giddily while in midair as he jumped upon sending the uppercut for added momentum of power.
Jake then sent a right hook to the frog sending it flying, he then rushed at the frog and appeared in front of it in seconds as he sent a couple kicks and punches at the frog's stomach.
The frog monster roared and attempted to strike Jake with its' tail only for the crocodile man to jump out of the way.
Jake flipped over the frog before doing a midair 180 spin kick sending the frog flying a few meters from the crocodile man hitting a forest area to the right.
The big frog groaned with a croak as it sat up before it was met by a barrage of rapid punches to the stomach from the crocodile bounty hunter.
"ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORRAAAAAA!" shouted Jake with each punch "SOIYAAAAA!" he yelled as he gave the frog another huge uppercut to the jaw sending it flying upwards.
Jake jumped up high following the frog before grabbing its' tail and pulled it back down with him as he slammed it to the ground. He then lifted the frog up by the tail like it was nothing and slammed it like a ragdoll a few times starting from slamming it to the left and then to the right before doing it again repeatedly, he then finished it off by swinging it around and around and around before throwing it at the final swing.
"TORI-YAAAAAA!" shouted Jake as he sent the frog flying towards the sky as he watched it disappear in a twinkle.

"Phew~! That was a nice workout…" said Jake twisting his right arm while holding said arm on the shoulder with his left "Man… I guess spending my spare time with those Japanese manga and anime sure have been rubbin off on me…" he quipped while cracking his neck.
After taking a breather, Jake was about to continue on with his business when all of a sudden, he sensed something… or in this case someone standing behind him. He narrowed his eyes before quickly pulling out a Colt Diamondback revolver pistol with a 6-inch barrel from a holster on his right leg and spun around and pointed his gun at whoever was behind him only to be met with a pair of gun barrels pointed at his face.
The gun in question was color blue and black with hints of gold and a bit of red on the crosshairs part, two silver over and under double barrels, a blue trigger, white designs on the side of the barrel and a white emblem of some kind of barcode pattern-like mask on the side just above the grip and the trigger and in between was the word "Diend" in white capital letters. This weapon was commonly known as the NeoDiendriver.
And the owner of said weapon was a young man in his early-20s about a head shorter than Jake with short messy dark brown hair, fair skin, slim build and dark brown eyes. He's clad in a blue t-shirt under a gray open coat, a pair of black pants with a belt, a pair of black combat boots, a blue, black, gold and white computer watch on his left wrist and a pair of black aviator sunglasses worn over his eyes. This young man is Rhys Remington, a thief, mercenary and also a member of the Shadow Fist Guild.
Both of the gun users stared at one another while at gunpoint until Rhys removed his sunglasses and gave his guildmaster a sly grin "Yo! How's it going master?" he said.
There was silence between the two before Jake's narrowed glare was replaced with a toothy grin before both of them lowered their guns.
"Hahahaha~! Well, if it ain't the Treasure Sniper himself! How ya been ma boy?!" said Jake referring Rhys by one of his nicknames while giving him a hard friendly pat on the shoulder.
"I've been doing fine sir" replied Rhys rubbing his shoulder from the hard pat he received "So, what brings you here Rhys?" the guildmaster asked.
"Well, I kinda finished my current job and when I returned to the guild, I asked everyone where you went and after telling me, I decided to tag-along with you" said Rhys.
"Ah~ I see…" said Jake with a nod "Well, that's thoughtful of ya! Ahahahahahahahaha!" he said chuckling casually.
"Indeed…" said Rhys with a sweatdrop. What he said was partially true. He was about finished with his last job when he was contacted by one of his guildmates, telling him to accompany their guildmaster while the rest of the Shadow Fist Guild prepared the guildhall for a party as today was the day of Jake Sobek's 49th birthday and Rhys will be the one to inform the guild when they'll return.
Jake then tapped Rhys on the shoulder "Alright then Rhys, the sooner we finish this job, the faster we can return to the guild!" the anthropomorphic crocodile cheered.
"Right…" said Rhys with a thumbs up.
Jake nodded as the two proceeded to carry out the mission. But just when they took a couple of steps forward, they froze upon hearing the sound of a twig snapping.
Rhys was the first to react as he turned and pointed his NeoDiendriver at a group of trees where the sound came from "Alright whoever you are…! Come out with your hands in the air or else!" he called out with dangerously narrowed eyes.
"Eep!" squeaked a voice in fright behind the trees and the voice sounded like a kid and Jake managed to take a quick glance at who was watching them before they hid and managed to identify it as a little girl.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on there, Slick!" said Jake lowering Rhys' driver after hearing the little yelp "It's just a kid, don't just point that thing at 'em!" he told him "Let me handle this" he said.
Rhys nodded "Alright then master" he said lowering his weapon.
Jake nodded before slowly approaching the little girl hiding behind the tree. When he stopped in front of the tree, he crouched down to the little girl's level and spoke gently "Hi there little one… sorry about my friend scaring you, why don't you come out?" he said.
The little girl peaked from her hiding spot and saw Jake looking at her as the anthropomorphic crocodile gave her a small smile showing his sharp teeth. This only caused the little girl to squeak slightly and hide again.
"It's okay, we won't hurt you…" reassured Jake with raised hands "I don't bite… much" he added.
Rhys sweatdropped "How's that reassuring master?" he said in a deadpanned tone.
Jake ignored the comment as he waited for the little girl to come out and after a bit of hesitance, the little girl came out of from her hiding spot.
The little girl had short light-colored hair with three tufts standing up in front, light skin and brown eyes. She's wearing a shirt with a jagged pattern on the bottom, a pair of shorts, boots and a scarf with both ends having flame patterns.
"H-Hello…" said the little girl shyly.
"Hello there, I'm Jake" greeted the guildmaster of the Shadow Fist Guild introducing himself "What's your name?" he asked.
"N… Nasha… Nasha Dragion…" the little girl introduced herself shyly.
"Nasha… that's a nice name" said Jake with a smile as he gently ruffled Nasha's head in which the little girl blushed in embarrassment.
Jake then turned to Rhys and motioned for him to approach them and the thief/mercenary did so before the guildmaster turned back to Nasha "Nasha, this is my friend Rhys" he said introducing Rhys.
"Hi there" greeted Rhys with a small wave "Sorry that I scared you" he said in apology while scratching the back of his neck.
After seeing how nice these two were despite Jake's intimidating appearance, Nasha calmed down and smiled much to the two Shadow Fist Guild members' relief.
"So, what's a little kid like you doing way out here? Are you alone?" asked Jake. Nasha shook her head "I'm actually walking together with my Mama" she said.
"Really? And where is your mama right now?" asked Jake.
"Nasha!" called out a voice from a short distance. Jake, Rhys and Nasha turned to the direction of whoever was calling and saw a young woman from a distance looking around for a certain someone "Nasha where are you?!" called out the young woman calling out for her daughter.
Jake then turned to Nasha "Go on then, I believe your Mama's worried about you" he said. Nasha looked towards the crocodile man for a few seconds before nodding.
Jake smiled as he gently ruffled the little girl's hair "Keep this meeting between us a secret, okay?" He said raising a finger to the front of his jaws "Don't want to cause trouble for you or your mama y'know" he said with a wink.
Nasha nodded with a smile "Okay~!" she said as she ran along towards her mother's direction as she waved goodbye to Jake and Rhys with the former waving back at her.
"Mama!" called out Nasha to the young woman getting her attention as she turned to the little girl.
The young woman in question had short blonde hair with a part of it tied in a side ponytail to the right and held by a skull hair band, fair skin, big curvy bust, slim build and brown eyes. She's clad in a top under a black leather jacket with the sleeves reaching halfway through her forearms and halfway zipped open revealing part of her cleavage, a pair of black pants with a leather belt, leather straps on her thighs with one of the straps on her left having a small pouch attached to it and a pair of black boots. This young woman is Lucy Ashley Dragion, a member of Edolas Fairy Tail and Nasha's mother.
"Nasha, there you are!" said Lucy as she crouched down to Nasha's level and caught her in an embrace "Didn't I tell you not to go too far?" she said gently caressing her daughter's hair.
"Sorry" replied Nasha.
Lucy just sighed as she lifted up her daughter "C'mon then, Papa's waiting back at the guild, so let's go" she said "Okay~!" said Nasha with a smile as her mother carried her back to Fairy Tail.
As Lucy carried Nasha back to the guild, the little Dragion saw Jake and Rhys a short distance from the both of them as she made a wave goodbye to the two and the anthropomorphic crocodile smiled and waved back.
"Heh… never knew you were so soft when it comes to kids master" commented Rhys with an amused smile.
"Well, everyone else back at the guild knows about that except you and a few others who rarely hang out or mostly focus on their jobs" replied Jake casually.
"Oh… I see…" said Rhys with a sweatdrop.
After watching Nasha and her mother leave until they were out of sight, Jake let out a deep sigh "Alright then, let's get back to business!" he declared.
Rhys spun his NeoDiendriver and smirked "Right with you master" he said with a nod and with that, the duo proceeded to continue on with their quest.
Meanwhile, somewhere else in the multiverse, we go to an isolated planet with vegetation filled mostly with forests, valleys, plains with lakes and beautiful waterfalls and rivers.
Somewhere beyond the forest, we go to a clear lush green valley where there stood in the middle of said valley was what looked like a small facility of some sorts. The facility was composed of three buildings: one on the front, another on the back and one next to the first building and they stood in the middle of a solid concrete surface plain with a few spots that have some vegetation and it was about almost big and wide enough to make it look like a parking lot with a portion of the surface in front of the first and third buildings being longer making it look like a concrete pathway.
The first building on the front was a three-story building about the size of a mansion and it had an appearance akin to a western/cowboy style log home mansion with said building made from a combination of modern wood and stone and it had some hints of purple on some parts of the building.
The second building which was behind the first building was a four-story building and it looked like a cross between a modern apartment complex and a log cabin home and it was big and long enough to house an army platoon.
And the third building which stood on the first and second building's right looked like either a cross between a warehouse, a workshop and a hangar of sorts about twice as long as a typical airplane hangar with a number of metal shutter doors on the left side facing the 1st and 2nd building's right and one big shutter door on the front.
But what stood out among the three buildings was that the first building had a big purple shield sigil with a black fist raised up high on it located above the door entrance of the first building and at the very top of the building at a small tower-like structure was a purple and white lined flag with the same fist sigil on it as it waved in the air in all its' glory. This facility is none other than the Home Base of the Shadow Fist Guild with the 1st building being their guildhall, their 2nd building their dormitory where members would stay and the 3rd building their multipurpose workshop or just simply the Tech Shop which also acts as a maintenance garage, lab, hangar, etc.
It was currently a peaceful afternoon in the Shadow Fist Guild… well, the outside of the guild anyway, the afternoon sun was shining, the birds were chirping and the rivers and waterfalls were flowing peacefully.

That was until a bright purple portal appeared at the far end of the concrete pathway. Coming out of said portal was a group of familiar vehicles composed of a van, a car, six bikes and an ATV as said vehicles rolled towards the guildhall.
"Hee hee~! Glad we made it back yo!" said Bebop leaning over the open window on his side of the van while Rocksteady was driving as the former saw the guildhall up ahead.
"Da, comrade! It's good to be home" agreed said mutant rhino with a nod as he continued to drive towards the guild.
"And we still got time to help in preparing the party" said Blazer in his bike Flame Comet as he was currently in the lead.
"Da! Boris is excited to celebrate crocodile guildmaster's birthday!" said Boris in his bike.
"Indeed~!" said Scourge of Venom Squad in his bike with a grin behind his helmet.
"Oui~! Eet eez after all, ze master's birthday and we cannot have a party without one of his favorite food…" trailed off LaGrange in his car along with Stranger riding with him.
"PIZZA~!" exclaimed just about almost everyone as they all laughed before driving towards the Tech Shop. Using his advanced wrist watch, Blazer opened one of the shutter doors allowing all of them to enter.
Once they all parked and dismounted their vehicles, they all gathered at the backdoors of Bebop and Rocksteady's van with the latter of the duo opening said doors revealing tons and tons of takeout boxes of pizza and calzones.
"Alright guys!" said Bebop to everyone "Let's haul these up and take these to the guildhall!" he said.
"Right!/Da!/Oui!/Okay/Hmm…" replied everyone as they each took some boxes of pizza and calzones and took them to the guildhall.

Inside the guildhall, we go to an area reminiscent to Fairy Tail's 2nd guildhall's interior but in a style that's a cross between modern, old western and fantasy with small hints if sci-fi and the area was complete with a large number of long tables and long benches, a bar on the side, a stage, some windows on the upper walls, stairs that lead to the second floor located in between the stage and hanging on the second floor from the ceiling is a purple banner with the Shadow Fist Guild's sigil on it. This is the Shadow Fist Guild's tavern hall where members would usually hang out and they'd usually hold events here.
Currently, the tavern hall was being prepared for Jake Sobek's birthday party as several guildmembers composed of a number of humans, demi-humans, mutants, aliens and anthropomorphic animals alike were decorating the area or rearranging some things or even sorting stuff that they bought for the party.
Overseeing this were three young women who were standing in the middle of the tavern area.
The first young woman who stood in the middle was about in her mid-20s with long caramel blonde hair woven in braids with one braid hanging on her right shoulder, fair skin, slim build, big bust and amber brown eyes. She's clad in a uniform composed of a white dress shirt with a blue and green jeweled jabot under a lavender and light blue button up vest, a black long pencil skirt, black pantyhose, a pair of black ankle strapped shoes, a three-strap black belt with a sigil of the guild on the buckle and a blue advanced wrist watch on her left wrist. This young woman is Georgianna "Ginny" Grace, one of the Shadow Fist Guild's three receptionists and the head receptionist among the three.
The second young woman who stood on Ginny's left was about the same age as her but an inch taller with shoulder length dark blue hair that flares out, pale skin, slim build, medium bust and almond green eyes. She's clad in the same uniform as Ginny but her jabot was green with a red jewel and her vest had lime green accents, a pair of black heeled shoes, a pair of green hairpins on the right side of the front of her hair and a green advanced wrist watch on her left wrist. This is Lauretta "Laurie" Len, another one of the Shadow Fist Guild's three receptionists and she sometimes works at the bar as a bartender whenever the main bartender isn't available or when they need some help.
And the last young woman who stood on Ginny's right was an inch shorter and a couple years younger than the two with long reddish-brown hair held in a low ponytail by a white and red outlined ribbon bow with her ponytail hanging on her left shoulder, fair skin, slim build, medium curvy bust and viridian-colored eyes. She's clad in the same uniform as Ginny and Laurie but her jabot was red with a blue jewel, her vest has red accents, in place of a pencil skirt is a purple and white accented casual skirt, a pair of white stockings, purple ankle-strapped shoes and a red advanced wrist watch worn on her left wrist. This is Rosella "Sella" Viridian, the third and last of the Shadow Fist Guild's three receptionists and she also works as one of the waitresses/barmaids in the tavern hall of the guild.
The three receptionists currently had some datapads in their arms as they were all making sure that everything's going according to schedule for their guildmaster's birthday.
Sella looked over to her left and saw a group of nine individuals working on arranging things.
The first individual was a lanky young man with blue eyes and brown buzzcut hair. He's clad in a red top, black rolled up pants with a belt, white socks, black sneakers, bandaged hands, a black cap with a headset, a pair of dog tags around his neck and a shoulder bag slung on his back. This is Jeremy or better known as The Scout.
The second individual was a large towering man with a bald head, blue eyes and semi-shaved face. He's clad in a red t-shirt under a black vest with a bullet belt strapped around his chest, fingerless gloves, black pants with a belt, a pouch on his left hip and black combat boots. This is Mikhail better known as The Heavy Weapons Guy or just The Heavy.
The third individual was a man wearing a red military jacket with straps carrying a couple of grenades and belts with pouches around his upper body, black pants, black combat boots and a helmet worn on his head that obscures his eyes. This is Barrister Doe or better known as The Soldier.
The fourth individual was a man wearing a red jacket underneath brown overalls, an oversized glove on his right hand, a tool belt, a pair of knee pads, black boots, an orange construction helmet and dark brown goggles. This is Dell Conagher or better known as The Engineer.
The fifth individual was a dark-skinned man with a mutton chops beard wearing a bully vest with numerous pocket bombs over a red jacket which is worn over a white long sleeve shirt, red pants and black boots and he also wears a black bonnet and an eyepatch over his left eye. This is Tavish Finnegan DeGroot or better known as The Demoman.
The sixth individual was a man with short dark hair and he wears a black open vest over a red polo shirt, black pants, a pouch on his right side, black boots, a pair of aviator sunglasses covering his eyes, black fingerless gloves, a wrist watch on his left wrist and a slouch hat worn on his head. This is Mr. Mundy or better known as The Sniper.
The seventh individual was a tall man with black casual hair, blue eyes and wears a pair of circular glasses. He's clad in a white button-up lab coat, red oversized gloves, gray pants and black combat boots. This is Dr. Ludwig or better known as The Medic.
The eighth individual was a strange person and that person was so strange that you can't tell whether if it's male or female. The individual was clad in a red asbestos-lined suit that provides protection from the afterburn, straps and belts carrying some fuel canisters around the upper torso, a fuel tank strapped to his back, black boots, black oversized fingerless gloves and worn over the head is a black gasmask. This individual is commonly known as The Pyro.
And the ninth and last individual was a tall man with gray eyes. He wears a purple baclava, reddish-brown suit with a red necktie, black gloves and black leather shoes. This individual is simply known as The Spy.
Together, these nine individuals are known as the TF2 Mercenaries or just The Mercs. They were once hired by a company called Mann Co. and now, they're currently part of the Shadow Fist Guild.
Right now, Spy and Medic were working on rearranging things at the bar while Heavy, Demoman, Soldier, Sniper, Pyro and Engineer were rearranging tables and benches while Scout on the other hand was just standing there watching his teammates work, apparently, he was "supervising" them.
"Excuse me! Scout!" called out Sella getting said merc's attention "Can you please tell them to move that table over there along with those benches just a little to the right please?" she said directing towards said spot.
"Sure Miss Sella, no problem" said Scout in a Bostonian accent with a two-finger salute before turning to the others "You herd her boys, let's hop to it! Chop! Chop!" he said.
"Ugh… easy fer you ta say considering we're doin all the work nd you're just standin there you lazy ouf!" retorted Demoman with a Scottish accent as he, Engineer, Soldier and Heavy lifted up the table and moved it to the directed spot followed by Sniper and Pyro who lifted up one of the benches and moved them to the same spot as the table before going back to get the other bench.
"How about you get your butt on the line and help us out Scout!" yelled out Soldier.
"I am helpin ya out brotha, I'm supervising!" said Scout.
"Why I oughtta…" said Soldier annoyed as he was about ready to pounce on Scout only to be restrained by Medic and Pyro.
"Oy! How about ya calm down for a minute there, mate!" said Sniper with an Australian accent.
"Mmmpph! Mmpph… mm… mmm… mm… mmm… mmph!" said Pyro in a muffled voice.
"Da! Calm down for one minute!" said Heavy with a Russian accent stepping in as he lifted up Soldier by the collar of his jacket.
"Unhand me Heavy so I can teach this sorry excuse of a patriot some manners!" demanded Soldier thrashing in Heavy's grip.
"Up yours ya punk!" mocked Scout.
"Why you son of a…!" retorted Soldier as he just about had it as he thrashed some more and accidentally kicked Heavy on the stomach.
"Oof! Why you…!" said Heavy just about ready to pound Soldier.
"Uh oh… not again" said Engineer with a Southern accent.
"Please my friend, calm down and think zis through" said Medic with a German accent trying to reason with his fellow comrade.
This got the attention of the others at the guild.
"Here they go again…" said one member.
"You think they'll start another fight?" asked a female member.
"If they are, I'm itchin for one!" said a fight crazed member.
Over at the other side of the tavern hall while carrying a bench were two male aliens watching the TF2 Mercs, both of them having pale white skin and yellow sclera eyes.
The first one was buff with black hair styled in a flat top haircut and sideburns and a patch of hair on his chin and he wore an orange shirt, red overalls, a black belt with orange belt pouches, a pair of orange gloves with a black strip around the wrist of each glove, a pair of black shoes and a yellow baseball cap worn backwards with a pair of goggles on top worn on his head.
And the second one had a slim build with an oval face and black hair in a similar style as the first one. He wore an orange-black jacket, red overalls with a black belt and orange belt pouches, a pair of black shoes, orange gloves with black strips on them and an orange baseball cap with a pair of goggles worn on his head.
These two are Rhomboid "Boid" and Octogon Vreedle, two bounty hunters. These two are enemies of Ben Tennyson AKA Ben 10, they've clashed with the alien transforming hero a couple of times but during an incident, they got blown up by some strange box device that could mimic just about anything and their deaths resulted in their memories transferred to fresh new clones and since then, whenever they somehow get themselves killed, mostly during clashes with Ben 10, the process repeats itself multiple times making it unknown of what number of clones these brothers are right now. They're also former members of the Plumbers an intergalactic-peacekeeping-police and the reason why is because they were kicked out after an incident that got them in trouble, they now currently work as bounty hunters and were scouted by the Shadow Fist Guild thus learning about the multiverse.
The Vreedle brothers continued to watch the Mercs doing their little quarrel when Boid said "Hey Octogon, ya think another fight will happen?" he asked with a Southern hillbilly accent.
"Probably, ain't surprisin, considering we always do this every time" said Octogon with a nod also speaking with a Southern hillbilly accent "Best that ya stay away Boid, we could end up gettin smashed or blown ta pieces just like thuh last bajillion times we bin dragged inta these brawls" he told his brother.
"Oh…. Okay…" said Boid with a nod before turning to his brother "Why not?" he asked cluelessly making Octogon sigh with a shake of his head.
Everyone else who were watching looked on in anticipation and some of them prepared to get in combat ready stances just about ready for a brawl to occur.
Spy on the other hand just let out a sigh as he stepped in to defuse the situation "Gentlemen… I suggest all of you settle down before-" he spoke with a French accent when suddenly...
"HEY!" called out a strict voice causing everyone to freeze and slowly turn to see Laurie with a stern strict look on her face and her right hand on her hip "Stop your roughhousing and GET BACK TO WORK!" she said.
There was a moment of silence before everyone said in unison "Yes ma'am…".
Laurie nodded "Good" she said as everyone returned to work with Heavy putting down Soldier and continuing their tasks.
"Huh… Ms. Laurie managed ta stop the fight before it even started" commented Boid as he and Octogon put the bench down.
"She sure did" said Octogon wiping his forehead "Makes me glad thah we have someone like her around ta stop a fight durin some occasions such as this" he commented.
"Yeah…" nodded Boid before asking "What's the occasion again?" he asked.
"It's Master Sobek's birthday Boid, and you know how upset Ms. Laurie gets whenever things don't go as planned, especially since she along with Ms. Ginny and Ms. Sella have known Master Sobek for far longer than we have" said Octogon as he and Boid proceeded to lift another bench and move it to another spot.
"Oh… I understand" said Boid with a nod as the Vreedle brothers moved the bench they currently had towards another spot and went to do their next task.
Meanwhile with the three receptionists, Sella let out a sigh of relief glad that things calmed down while Ginny let out a giggle "Thanks for that Laurie" said the latter to her fellow receptionist.
"No problem Ginny" she said returning to her datapad "We want Jake's birthday to go on smoothly, so we can't afford to have any roughhousing before the start of the party" she said.
Ginny nodded before returning to her datapad. The head receptionist then heard the sound of a flute playing and turned to see the source of the music.
It was a very tall robot with a long neck, teal-colored eyes, large functional mouth and teeth and a blue-green colored tongue. He's clad in a long purple coat with red interior, and a large black belt, an orange scarf around his neck, red high-heel boots, a black Japanese straw hat, a short sword with a purple ribbon on the pommel sheathed on a black scabbard and strapped on the left side of his belt, a larger scimitar style sword sheathed on his back. This is the assassin Scaramouche.
The robot assassin was currently playing a western concert flute and for some reason, it made some decorations float in the air as the decorations were hung around the tavern area.
"Wonderful work Scaramouche! Now if you don't mind, can you hang some of those decorations over there?" said Ginny pointing towards a pile of decorations before pointing towards the location of where to hang them.
"With pleasure babe, happy to be of assistance" said Scaramouche with a tip of his hat before playing his flute, commanding the pile of decorations to float up towards the direction of where they're gonna be hung.
"Man… that power of his sure is nifty…" commented a guildmember watching Scaramouche at work.
"That's gotta take like forever to master, how does he do it?" asked another.
Scaramouche who managed to hear that smirked as he finished hanging up his next batch of decorations and faced the guildmembers watching "Well that's because babe… no one's as good as a musical telekinetic maestro as yours truly babe…" bragged the robot assassin.
"Me! Bee-dee-ba-boo~ba-dep! Sca-ra-mou~che the Merciless!" he declared raising his arms up "The Pied Piper of Ruination…" he said while spinning around "The Crooner of Annihilation…" he said doing another pose "The Eradicator of All~ baby…!" he said while doing an exaggerated pose "Also known as… Master Sobek's favored Assassin babe" he added referring to himself with a matter-a-fact tone making some of the other assassin guildmembers scowl, frown or roll their eyes.
"I thought you were "Aku's" favored assassin?" asked Scout making some of the other guildmembers laugh.
"Oh… Aku-cachoo babe?" said Scaramouche with a deadpan frown "That guy's old news baby, it's Master Sobek who's the new Aku babe!" he declared "Ever since Jakey-crocaman found me and put me back together and better than ever baby, I… Sca-ra-mou~che~ have been reborn anew baby! Bee-ba-be-de-oo~bep! Ba~! And I owed him a lot baby, so it seems fair that I help out in setting up this shindig for his special day baby, y'know what I mean babe?" he said making some of the guild members roll their eyes or just shrug it off.
"Um… Scaramouche, it was technically me who put you back together y'know…" spoke a female voice.
Scaramouche turned to the source of the voice and it was a female guildmember who was currently helping out with the decorations.
Said female guildmember was a tall curvaceous young woman with long bushy auburn hair, fair skin, black fingernails and icy blue eyes. She's wearing a blue and red sleeveless short dress with opaque black tights, black arm sleeves, a pair of heeled boots: a red and yellow boot on her right foot and a blue and yellow boot on her left foot, a gold ring on her left middle finger, a pair of hooped earrings, a pair of glasses over her eyes and a white labcoat. This is Android 21.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that babe, thanks for fixin me up" said Scaramouche with a tip of his hat.
"You're welcome…" said Android 21 with a sweatdrop.
Before he was part of the Shadow Fist Guild, Scaramouche was once a solo assassin who was favored by Aku, an evil entity who took over the world. Scaramouche attempted to kill Samurai Jack, Aku's sworn enemy but in the end, he was defeated leaving nothing but his head but he learned that Jack had lost his sword, the only weapon capable enough to destroy Aku, he managed to travel all the way to the dark master and informed him but it was too late because by that time, Jack had already reclaimed his sword and Scaramouche was destroyed for that. And by some miracle, his remains were found by Jake Sobek who took him back to the guild and had Android 21 repair him and Scaramouche has been a part of the guild ever since as a dimension travelling assassin.
"If you're done talking Scaramouche, mind if you continue with your task at hand?" said Laurie with a slight twitch of her eyebrow.
"With pleasure Laurie baby, no sweat" replied Scaramouche casually as he continued to do his task.
"Just a little more…" said Ginny directing some guildmembers who were currently hanging up a banner with the words "Happy 49th Birthday Master Sobek" on it.
"Al~most~… there!" she said as the guildmembers stopped "Perfect!" said Ginny with a thumbs up as the guildmembers tied up the banner.
The guildmembers responsible hanging up the banner were three individuals, two of them sitting on some hanging beams on the left and one standing on a tall ladder on the right.
The two individuals on the support beams were two cat aliens, they had black cat ears, black humanoid hands and feet, no tails, blue eyes and black Chinese mustaches. They wore the same thing which are a pair of yellowish shorts with belts, yellowish bracelets and anklets and to differentiate them, one of them had white fur while the other had brown fur. These two cats are I and Am respectively, two bounty hunter brothers.
And the third individual on the ladder was a young, handsom and prim gentleman with fair skin, black short and well combed hair, a small mustache and small beard in the middle of his chin and dark eyes. He's of course clad in a gentlemanly outfit composed of a white button up shirt with a green jabot around the collar of his shirt under a black vest, a pair of pants with a pair of knives sheathed on the right side of his belt and a pair of dress shoes. This gentlemanly fellow is Gentle Jim or better known as The Gentleman, another skilled bounty hunter.
"The banner's looking great you three! Well done!" cheered Ginny with a smile.
"The gentleman is much obliged by your praise Miss Grace and the gentleman is also glad to be participating in the preparation of our guildmaster's birthday" said the Gentleman with a bow.
"I and Am must agree…" said I as he and Am jumped from the support beams and landed on the floor without a sweat "…that we are happy to be helping in preparing the guildmaster's party" finished Am.
"Think nothing of it" said Ginny with a smile.
The Gentleman climbed down the ladder before taking a red cloak that was hung on the side as he put it on before turning to the ladder "The Gentleman feels dreadful for using you as a means to hanging the banner Miss, the Gentleman deeply apologizes" he said strangely apologizing to the ladder and all of a sudden, with a sound of *BOING*, the ladder shapeshifted into a female anthropomorphic duck.
Said female duck had four fingered hands, a lizard tail and yellow sclera eyes. She had long blue wavy hair tied in a low ponytail and she wore a light green sweater under a green cardigan with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, a blue short skirt and a pair of green shoes. This is Camille Chameleon, a thief and biology scientist with the ability to shapeshift into anything and/or anyone thanks to her chameleon-like abilities.
"It'ssss alright" said Camille with a lisping hiss "I'm jussst happy to be of assisssssstancccce" she said while dusting her cardigan.
Ginny, Laurie and Sella looked at the happy birthday banner with a smile.
"Master Sobek has done so much for us…" said Sella.
"Indeed, he took all three of us in when we had nowhere else to go" said Ginny fondly.
"And that was even before he became the new guildmaster of the guild, so it's fair we do something special for him in return" said Laurie revealing that Jake Sobek isn't the founder of the Shadow Fist Guild but the successor to the previous guildmaster.
Suddenly, the doors to the tavern hall slammed open getting everyone's attention.
"Yo-yo-yo Motherhubbers! Bebop and Rocksteady and co. are back yo~! And we bought some grub just in time ta par~ty~!" called out Bebop as he and Rocksteady along with Blazer, the other bounty hunters and Venom Squad came through the doors with a number of boxes of pizzas and calzones in their arms.
Upon seeing them, the whole guild cheered.
"Awesome! Bebop and Rocksteady brought some more food!" said a guildmember.
"Not just them, Blazer, Boris, Locus, LaGrange, Embo and Stranger bought some too!" said another.
"Venom Squad as well!" said another member.
"Yum! Pizza! I love pizza!" cheered another member.
"They even brought calzones too!" added another.
"Oh! Perfect! All of you just put the food over there together with the rest of the food that the others brought!" said Ginny directing the group towards a large table filled with different types of food, some of them being familiar food from other countries while some food that came from other dimensions.
"Thanks a lot Ms. G!" said Bebop as he and the others carried the food towards the table.
"There's still some food left back at the back of the van at the workshop, so it would be appreciated to have them all picked up" said Rocksteady.
"That can be arranged" said Laurie as she called some guildmembers to pick up the rest of the food on Bebop and Rocksteady's van.

"So, what have you fellas been doin?" asked Scout as he watched the group place the food on the table.
"We stole big red diamond and deliver it to client" said Rocksteady.
"Big red diamond? What's so special about that?" asked Scout with a raised eyebrow.
"Rock and I stole the legendary Red Taurus Diamond!" revealed Bebop "And we even fought the space fuzz before we got away with it yo!" he added.
This caused everyone to murmur in awe at that.
"Whoa… Bebop and Rocksteady stole the UDA's Red Taurus Diamond! That's so sick!" said a thief Guildmember.
"And they even went up against SPD and got away…" said another guildmember.
"They had a run in with Nexus Lupin too during their job" added Blazer.
This made some guildmembers gasp and murmur even more.
"No way! THAT Nexus Lupin?!" said a guildmember.
"As in the infamous and mysterious phantom thief that everyone in the multiverse is talkin about?!" said another guildmember.
"Man, I heard that that guy has mysterious motives and nobody knows what his plans are" said a mercenary guildmember.
"The Gentleman agrees…" said the Gentleman joining in on the conversation "This Nexus Lupin is so overshadowed by mystery that his emissaries would easily fall prey to his power… it makes it very difficult to predict his every move and I even heard that he once fought against an army of assassins and defeated them without even taking as much as a single scratch" he said.
"And get this all ya homies… Nexus Lupin's a KAMEN RIDER TOO YO!" revealed Bebop making everyone murmur some more.
"No way… he's a Kamen Rider too?!" exclaimed a bounty hunter guildmember.
"But we have Kamen Riders of our own too y'know! I bet they can mop the floor with him!" declared another member.
"Yeah, but it's just as what Jim said, Nexus Lupin's unpredictable, so we don't know what he has up his sleeve to counter them" pointed out another member.
"Whoa… that's interesting" said Scout before turning to Blazer and his group "What about you fellas?" he asked.
"We killed stupid skinny man who had bounty on his head" said Boris.
"Really? Who?" asked Scout.
"Sid Crowe, a former member of the Crimson Horns" said Blazer once again causing everyone to murmur.
"Whoa! You guys killed THAT Sid Crowe? The same guy who evaded several multiversal police organizations including SPD?" asked a member.
"The same one" replied Locus with a nod.
"Stranger and I vas not zere when he was killed because ve had to take ze hostages to safety but I heard zat zey had quite ze fight and it took awhile" said LaGrange.
"Wha? Against Sid?" said a guildmember surprised.
"How? There's no way that it would take them that long to kill him considering how good of veterans Blazer, Locus, Boris and Embo are" said another guildmember.
"Believe it er not… Sid became a Kamen Rider" revealed Stranger shocking everyone again.
"WHAT?! Him too?!" exclaimed a bounty hunter guildmember.
"Yes, and it took us by surprise and we were almost done for" explained Blazer "But even with fancy powers such as that… he's still inexperienced in using those powers and to top it off, he was so arrogant that he claimed that he could easily defeat us celestial champions and challenge the celestial gods" he said "Hmph… glad I proved him wrong and put him in his place" he said.
This made the guildmembers murmur at that.
"Man… talk about a big ego" said one guildmember.
"Power hungry much?" commented another member.
"So, you ended up killing him in the end Blazer?" asked another guildmember.
"I did" confirmed Blazer with a nod.
"And to add insult to injury… he chopped off his head and had it delivered to our client as requested" added Locus bringing shivers down some of the guildmembers' spines.
"Jeezes…" said Scout with a flinch.
"You have no idea…" said Locus with a deadpan tone.
Meanwhile with Venom Squad, they just about finished placing the food they were carrying on the table when all of a sudden, Scourge was tackled from behind but he managed to maintain his balance as he felt a pair of arms wrap around his neck.
"Whoa!" he exclaimed in surprise.
"Scourgey~! I missed you~!" said a cute sounding female voice.
Scourge turned his head slightly to see who it was.
The one that tackled him into a hug was a young teenage girl of medium height, fair skin, small bust, long blonde hair styled in drill-like pigtails with smaller locks framing her face and heart shaped highlights on her pigtails and sapphire blue eyes with highlights resembling a smiling face. She wears a richly adorned pink lolita-styled dress with matching boots and fingerless gloves, a large pink bow with a heart at the center on top of her head, a heart motif collar around her neck, heart shaped earrings and a pink heart shaped advanced wrist watch on her left wrist. This is Nui Harime, an assassin and a member of the Shadow Fist Guild and also… Scourge's girlfriend.
"Nui~!" cooed Scourge with a smile "Your grip is as strong as ever I see" he teased.
"*Giggle* Only with you Scourgey!" said Nui as Scourge turned to her and the both of them shared a short kiss.
"Ugh! Get a room you two!" shouted a voice.
Nui, Scourge and the rest of Venom Squad turned to the source of the voice and saw two men carrying a crate.
The first male was short and he had messy black hair, green eyes, a poorly shaven beard, a soul-patch, and round teeth. He wears a pair of blue jeans, black ankle boots, and a black T-shirt that says 'JERK' in white capital letters. This is Dan Mandel a mercenary and a member of the Shadow Fist Guild.
And the second male was taller than Dan with a longish face structure, light brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a blue shirt, an orange over-shirt, beige cargo pants, and white socks with brown flip-flops. This is Chris Pearson, Dan's best friend/sidekick and also a member of the Shadow Fist Guild.
"All that lovey-dovey crap is making me wanna barf" said Dan with an annoyed look.
"Is there a problem with that?" asked Scourge tilting the side of his head.
"Yeah, tons of problems like you two tend to do that wherever I can see ya and not to mention all those kissy noises!" complained Dan.
Suddenly, Nui disappeared in a blink of an eye and reappeared behind Dan as she now had a giant-sized needle about the same size as a sword as she had it pointed towards Dan's neck.
"Aww~, so you have a problem with me and Scourgey showing our love for each other…" she said cutely with a smile "If you have problems with that… then how about you just keep them to yourself!" she threatened cheerfully "Otherwise…" she added with a dark tone while her closed eyes were slightly shadowed with her smile still in place as she moved her needle closer.
Dan started to shake in fear a bit but refused to give in as he scoffed "A-A-As if a measly needle will sc-sc-scare me blondie!" he said.
"Uh… Dan… I think that'll only make things worse…" said Chris sweating like bullets.
"Shut up!" said Dan.
"Now, now Nui~…" said Scourge stepping in "As much as I'd like to see him squeal, he's still our fellow guildmember no matter how annoying and obnoxious he is" he reasoned with a smile.
"He has a point y'know…" said the voice of Laurie as Nui turned to see said receptionist with her arms crossed and stern eyes while holding her datapad on her left hand "Remember what Master Sobek said Nui, no matter who you are or wherever you came from, whether if you went through a life that's good or bad, tragic or troubled or even a life full of crap… all members of the Shadow Fist Guild are family and we must always treat each other fairly and equally with respect… no matter how rude some of us are…" she added at the last part while turning her gaze to Dan who just grumbled at the remark directed at him.
"Awww… okay~, if you say so~!" said Nui before putting away her giant needle sword before returning to Scourge's side much to Dan's relief.
Laurie nodded satisfied before turning to Dan and Chris "Alright you two, back to your task at hand" she said.
"Yeah, yeah, we got it" said Dan as he and Chris carried the crate to the bar while Laurie sighed before returning to her duty.
"Man… after being part of the guild for so long, I still don't understand how Mr. Spider psycho and Ms. Loli psycho managed ta hit it off together…" said Bebop scratching his head.
"Yes…" agreed Striker "Eversince Nui joined the guild, they got along quite well and one thing led to another and now they're all head over heels for each other" he said as he along with Rattle, Bebop and other guildmembers watched as Scourge and Nui continued to go all lovey-dovey over each other.
"So…" spoke Scout deciding to change the subject "What have you Venom guys been doin?" he asked Venom Squad.
"Oh~! We assassinated a member of the Crimson Horns!" said Scourge cheerfully.
This caused everyone minus Bebop and Rocksteady and Blazer's group to stop what they were doing and turned to Venom Squad with a huge resounding gasp.
"You. Did. WHAT?!" exclaimed Laurie with wide eyes as she dropped her datapad before stomping over.

"Uh oh…" said a guildmember.
"Laurie-san looks pissed" said a samurai bounty hunter guildmember.
Laurie stomped over towards Scourge and grabbed him by the hem of his jacket "Do my ears deceive me or did I just clearly heard that you said that you three KILLED a member of the Crimson Horns?" she said with narrowed eyes.
"We-" said Rattle about to explain only to be interrupted by Scourge.
"You heard correctly… we DID kill a member of the Crimson Horns!" replied Scourge with a nonchalant smile.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" shouted Laurie angrily while she started shaking Scourge "THE CRIMSON HORNS ARE OUR GUILD'S BIGGEST CLIENT! IF THEY FIND OUT THAT ONE OF OUR GUILDMEMBERS KILLED ONE OF THEIR OWN THEY'RE GONNA HAVE ALL OUR HEADS!" she shouted frantically.
"Laurie please calm down!" said Sella trying to calm down her friend.
"Yes, I believe there's an explanation for this" reasoned Ginny also stepping in.
"Oh really?" said Laurie before turning to Rattle with narrowed eyes "Explain then Rattle" she said making the leader of Venom Squad flinch a bit but immediately composed himself.
"We assassinated a member of the Crimson Horns… as a request from the Crimson Horns" he said.
"Huh?" said everyone confused with the exception of those who were with Venom Squad back at Crimson City.
"Long Story short, Don Agresta hired us to assassinate one of their members because apparently, she was doing something that was against the rules of their organization" explained Striker.
"Is that so?" said Laurie looking towards Stiker who nodded. The bluenette took a deep breath before releasing Scourge "Well… that's a relief" she said while fixing her uniform.
"Don't ever scare me like that again Scourge" she said sternly.
"Apologies Ms. Laurie, I won't" said Scourge with a casual smile.

"Good..." said Laurie with a nod wile picking up her datapad "And the next time you report something like that again, make sure you explain things first before getting to the point" she said.
"I was about to explain before you went ballistic though…" uttered Rattle.
"Did you say something Rattle?" asked Laurie turning her gaze towards the Venom Squad leader with narrowed eyes.
"Nothing ma'am" replied Rattle quickly while maintaining his composure.
"I thought so…" said Laurie before she, Ginny and Sella went back to overseeing the party preparation.
This made everyone sigh in relief.
"Okay… aside from Spider and Loli's love fest, I still can't get used to that" commented Bebop referring to how scary Laurie can be when angry.
"Same here brotha, that's why we shouldn't go on her bad side" commented Scout.
Suddenly, the sound of the tavern hall's doors slamming open was heard again and everyone in the area turned to see who it was.
It was a group of four people composed of three males and one female.
The first male was a young man in his mid-20s and was Japanese with fair skin, short black hair with bangs hanging on the right side and brown eyes. He's clad in clothing worn by a typical salaryman composed of a short sleeve button up shirt with a necktie, a pair of pants with a belt and business shoes. This is Rokuro "Rock" Okajima.
The second male was a heavily muscled African-American about taller than Rock with a bald head, a dark beard and a pair of sunglasses obscuring his eyes. He appeared to be in his 30s by but is most likely in his 40s and he wore a flak-jacket, military fatigues with a belt, US military jungle boots and a number of six ringed earrings, three each on his ears. This is Dutch.
And the third male was a man in his 30s and was Jewish with light skin, long wavy blonde hair tied in a ponytail, a stubble beard and olive-green eyes. He's clad in an orange and green patterned Hawaiian shirt, a pair of tan pants, a pair of white shoes and a pair of square framed glasses over his eyes. This is Benny.
And finally, the sole female of the group was a woman of approximately moderate height in her mid to late 20s of Chinese-American descent with slightly tanned skin, burgundy hair that she typically keeps in a low loose ponytail with rather large bangs falling onto her forehead on either side, along with two Shoulder-length sidelocks framing her face, a tribal tattoo that reaches all the way up to her neck on her upper right arm, medium-sized bust, a slightly muscular build in spite of also having a slender build and amber-brown eyes. She wears a black tank top that leaves her stomach exposed, very short cut-off jeans (turned into Denim Shorts) that she never bothers buttoning up as she uses a US Army webbing belt to keep them up instead, a pair of US military jungle boots without socks and a pair of black fingerless gloves. She also sports a pair of brown leather cross-draw shoulder holsters that store a pair of twin Beretta pistols in them. This is Revecca "Revy" Lee.
These four are a group of pirate mercenaries known as Lagoon Company and they are also members of the Shadow Fist Guild.
"Hey there all ya little fuckers! Lagoon Company's here and we brought a ton of booze!" greeted Revy who was the one who slammed the doors open as she currently had a liquor bottle in hand while the rest of Lagoon Company carried several cases of booze with Dutch hefting one case over hie right shoulder and another case held under his left arm while Benny and Rock carried a number of cases using transport trollies and accompanying them were other guildmembers also carrying trollies transporting several more cases of booze.
Upon hearing the word "Booze", the crowd cheered.
"Aw yeah~! Bring in the booze!" cheered one guildmember.
"Looks like this party's gonna be wild man!" said another member.
"I think I'll help myself to one bottle…" said another quietly.
"Wait until the party starts dumbass!" retorted another member who heard him.
"Ah, Revy, everyone, just in time!" said Ginny with a smile "Just move the booze to the bar and have some of the members rearrange them" she told them.
"Sure thing Ginny" said Revy nonchalantly as the Lagoon Company and the other members carrying booze moved said booze to the bar where Medic and Spy along with other members started sorting out the booze.
"Yo, Revy, How'd the job go?" asked Scout.
"Oh, y'know the usual, we went to pick up some cargo to deliver, had a bunch of assholes chase us over it, shot them dead, all of that crap" she explained casually.
"Oh… I see" said Scout with a sweatdrop.
"Sorry about that" apologized Rock.
"No problem brotha" replied Scout shrugging it off as Lagoon Company went off to sit on an empty table.
The guildmembers continued to prepare the tavern hall as everything started to go smoothly.
"Sella, mind contacting Rhys and ask how he and Jake are doing?" Ginny requested.
"Will do Ginny" nodded Sella as she touched a few buttons on her advanced wrist watch as she activated the communication function.
The watch beeped for a few seconds before the call was answered via a video communication screen.
The screen then showed the face of Rhys Remington who looked a bit roughed up.
"Yeah-lo!" greeted Rhys.
"Hello Rhys, it's Sella" said the receptionist "How are you and the master doing?" she asked.
"We're doing fine…" answered Rhys quickly while glancing to the side.
"I hope you're still in the middle of the job because we're still in the middle of preparing here" she told him with a smile.
"Yeah… about that…" trailed of Rhys scratching his cheek with his finger.
"Hmm? What's wrong?" asked Sella now a bit concerned getting Ginny and Laurie's attention.
"Well, you see…" He trailed off before the sound of gunfire was heard followed by Jake's voice from off-screen.
"Oy! Tell this thing ta put me down ya little coo coo science nut! I oughta blast ya ta smithereens! Ya hear!?" he yelled before the sound of a maniacal laughter was heard.
"In your dreams crocodile boy! WAAHA! WAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!" said a maniacal voice.
"Let's just say that this job's gonna take a while… and it'll probably give you enough time to finish preparations" said Rhys before he heard Jake call out.
"Hey Rhys! A little help here will ya!" he yelled.
"You're doin fine master!" called out Rhys glancing away from the screen.
"KISS MAH CROCODILE ASS! OOF!" yelled Jake before the sound of him being slammed to the ground was heard making Rhys along with the three receptionists who heard flinch.
Rhys then turned back to the screen "I'll call you back" he said "I'll let you know when we've wrapped up this job" he said before his eyes widened all of a sudden before looking down "Uh Oh…" he said before he screamed in shock as he jerked all of a sudden as if he was grabbed by something before the screen turned to static.
"Oh dear…" said Ginny in concern "I do hope the master will be alright" she said.
"Don't worry, Master Sobek's strong, he is after all, a celestial champion and the same with Rhys" assured Laurie.
"Yeah, although technically Master Sobek's a War Champion while Rhys is a Fortune Champion but you have a point" said Sella revealing that Jake and Rhys are celestial champions chosen by different celestial gods.
The three receptionists nodded to each other before continuing on with completing preparations for Jake Sobek's birthday party.
"My, my, my… how intriguing~" said the voice of Nexus Lupin "Bebop, Rocksteady, Blazer and the gang have returned to the Shadow Fist Guild and the guild sure have quite an interesting number of members I must say… even the guildmaster seems to be an interesting fellow as well…" he said.
"Wonder what will happen to him and as well as Rhys?" said Nexus "I do hope they'll survive in the end… especially since this is the guildmaster's birthday after all" he said.
"I guess we'll have to find out in the next chapter, so stay tuned~" said Nexus.
"Auf Wiedersehen~!"

That took awhile after some blocks and much needed motivation but I'm glad I finished it.
And so, we get to meet the Shadow Fist Guild along with their Guildmaster. An OC of mine named Jake Sobek, an anthropomorphic crocodile cowboy. Bet you were surprised to see him exploring in Edolas and he even met Nasha, the daughter of Edo-Lucy and Edo-Natsu. In all honesty, I only found out about this about a month ago while I was looking up info for writing this chapter and so I decided to commemorate this to the ongoing Manga series of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest and as well as the Anime version that's coming soon.
Also, some of you might be surprised about some familiar faces being part of the Shadow Fist Guild especially Nui Harime from Kill la kill and that she's the girlfriend of one of Venom Squad's assassins and if you're wondering… nope, I did NOT make a mistake, Nui has BOTH of her eyes intact instead of missing one of them and the reason why will be explained for another time as the story goes.
