Shadow was never friendly. He never had any friends. Nobody wanted to hang out with him. He sat alone during lunch every single day. But he was okay with that!

A red echidna. That echidna's name was Knuckles.
Knuckles was probably the most popular student in high school. Everybody loved him. Some girls even tried asking him out. Since Knuckles was gay he sadly had to reject them, but that never stopped him from being friends with them.
Knuckles worn a purple jacket that matched his eye color. The jacket also had a picture of the master emerald. People thought that was adorable.
His best friend was Rouge the Bat. She was as popular as Knuckles
