(Chapter 1: Rebirth)
Known as both the celebrated war hero, renowned Jedi Knight and chosen one Anakin Skywalker and notorious Sith Lord, Jedi Hunter and destroyer of worlds in Darth Vader; the chosen one of the Force had led a life of conflict chained down by either side no matter what he'd done and only in death by destroying his final master did he know true freedom. But what if the tale of Darth Vader nee Anakin Skywalker wasn't over even in death and that the Force decided that the now former Sith Lord had one more chapter in his life to be undertaken before death would finally claim him...only this time not in the way even he would expect.
(January 13th, 2017, Kuoh Town, 9:45 Am)
It was a quarter till 10 in the morning as the former Sith Lord opened his eyes and instead of pitch blackness like he'd imagine or something else that he would've imagined from him dying and potentially becoming a Force ghost he found himself lying in a hospital bed of all things, his head throbbing as though he got sucker punched by a Wookie.
'W-Where am I? The last thing I remember is saying goodbye to Luke before my life-support systems went out.' Hopefully he got out of there in time...' Vader or rather Anakin Skywalker thought to himself as he shakily got out of the hospital bed and saw something that surprised even him
"H-How is this possible..my hands..m-my legs there..there here! How is this even possible..I-I..." Anakin said as he saw and felt his hands, arms, legs and feet were no longer mechanized but instead flesh and bone before realizing he no longer required the use of a respirator to breathe
"Just..Just what is going on here?!" Anakin wondered as he quickly got out of bed and on instinct untethered himself from any machines he was hooked up too via the Force
The former Sith Lord and Jedi Knight walked to what he saw was a bathroom and closed the door behind him and the moment he looked in the mirror it legitimately shocked him at what he saw, instead of the heavily burned, scarred, pale-faced, and mechanized colossus of a man he once was prior to his death. That instead he was in the wiry body of a teenage boy that had chocolate brown eyes and hair that stood at above average height, with the former Sith Lord looking over himself to see if his new form had any of his old scars or even his old burns he sustained on Mustafar; yet as he gave himself a good look over he saw none of them.
From there he reached out to see if he could still use the Force and surprisingly enough he still retained his command over it, if anything it seemed to feel greater than what he was able to access from within his pitch black armor he was wore; which made itself evident by him unintentionally levitating a full meter off the ground. Anakin had to force himself back to the ground after having looked down to see that his burst of Force energy had cracked the ground where he now landed like it was made of brittle durasteel, yet after he landed he made a series of mental notes to himself to go out and see if he retained all of his powers in the Force within his new body.
With him exiting the bathroom and wondering how he'd do things such as go about making himself a lightsaber to defend himself with, to regaining and potentially all of the athletic ability he once had before he was dismembered and burned on Mustafar. Yet his musings were cut short when the door to his hospital room opened to reveal a man in his early 40's with short black hair, navy blue eyes, lightly tanned skin that stood at 5 foot 10 and wore a standard doctors' uniform and had a clipboard with multiple papers clipped onto it in his right hand.
"Ah, Mr. Hyoudou, I'm glad that your up and about. I didn't expect for you to be waking up for another day or two..On top of that you seem to be doing well considering what happened to you...We almost thought you were a goner." The doctor spoke as he saw the teenager or rather ex-Jedi Knight standing in the center of the room
'I guess that is the last name of whoever I'm in.' Anakin mentally noted to himself at now having something to go along with his new body
"So can you tell me what happened?...Everything is all a haze and I feel like I don't know what's going on. So tell me what's happened to me since I've been here?" Anakin replied while used a Mind Trick to have the doctor to tell him what else was going on, as he wanted to know just what was going on in what he could only surmise
"You were in a car accident and have been in a small coma for over 2 weeks, it is currently the 13th of January which for someone such as yourself to miraculously come back on Friday the 13th is pretty cursed if you asked me. Also, your parents should be here to see you at half past 4 when they get off work. Furthermore the people that had crashed into have come out of the accident with relatively minor injuries." The doctor listed off his voice subdued and almost sluggish due to being under the power of the former Sith Lord's mental control
"Good to know. Follow up question, where exactly am I and what year is it?" Anakin questioned in wanting to know where he even was to begin with
"You are in Kuoh Town located in the great country of Japan. It is also the year of 2017 if that answers your question, Mr. Hyoudou." The doctor answered back in a semi-sluggish monotone voice
'Unless I'm somewhere in the far reaches of the Outer Rim. I can safely say I'm not even in my own galaxy anymore.' Anakin mentally assessed at the fact that even with his vast knowledge of locations across the known galaxy he never heard of this Japan much less a Kuoh Town
"Is there anything else I can help you with Mr. Hyoudou?" The Doctor asked the ex Jedi Knight
"There actually is. After I get a full scan done to see if my injuries that have been sustained are fully healed. I want to be discharged from this place immediately." Anakin ordered as a last command through the Force as the doctor nodded and obliged to carry out the last order
"...I may not be dead, but I won't argue with whatever the Force has done to give me a second chance...On the plus side is that I no longer have to wear that metal prison for a suit... Finally, I can go a day without having to where that twice-damned respirator." Anakin said to himself before he looked down at extremities with earnest glee at the fact that he was no longer confined to his armor and that his new body had all of its working parts
'Also I get to enjoy the perks of being 100 percent flesh and blood again.' Anakin mentally remarked with a smirk at being able to enjoy no longer being a cybernetic cripple
(1 week later, January 21st, 2017, Kuoh Town, 8:44 Pm)
It was a full week later as Anakin Skywalker had finished partaking in one of the many joys that came with his new body no longer being confined to a metal prison in his jet-black armor; which was being able to once more enjoy and consume food as he once did in his prime.
"..I can't believe how much I've missed being able to eat real food again! I'd rather lick Jabba's taint than ever have to eat through a tube again." Anakin said still overjoyed to be able to consume food and without it being turned into a paste no less
"...But enough of that...Time to see if I've still got it." Anakin added as he tossed the burger wrapper into a nearby trash can as a smile came across his face
The now former Sith Lord soon got a running start as he let the Force in all its infinite power flow through him as it used to in years past, except now that he was no longer confined to his armor and his body fully made of flesh and bone that it was much more potent than he anticipated. With his grin growing ever wider as he ran through Kuoh like a speeding bullet train, the winter winds whipping past him as he continued to run faster and faster to the point where to any normal person he would appear as a barely perceivable blur of high-speed movement that knocked anyone close enough to him flat on their asses from how fast he ran.
With his dash coming to its apex as he soon jumped as high as he could and even as he felt the muscles in his legs ache and bark out in pain despite it being assisted with the Force, he couldn't have cared less as he found himself soaring dozens of feet into the air. It was also in the moment he reached the apex of his ascent that the former dark lord then used a Force push from both of his feet to aid his descent downwards, where he forced himself downwards before using the Force to cushion his landing onto the rooftop of a building where he used the momentum of it to go into a double front-flip.
From there Anakin went on to engage in what would equate to doing a hour long run of parkour around Kuoh Town with him having to draw upon the power of the Force in order to assist him in high levels of acrobatics and athleticism that it took for him to enjoy doing so. Yet it was something he considered worth it all the more from the freedom of being able to enjoy being able to even do these feats of physicality that he wouldn't have been able to freely do when he was still Darth Vader, as he dashed, leapt somersaulted, flipped and all other manner of acrobatics throughout the chilling winter night.
The former Jedi knight soon found himself starting to run out of breath going into the 2 and a half hour mark of it all and as such decided to stop and land on top of a Walmart in order to catch his breath, yet as he lie down to recover his strength that a modest smile soon crossed his face. The reason for said smile in question was due to the fact that he was able to do something he hadn't been able to do in over a decade of his being trapped in his armored suit, something which made him feel true joy and happiness in being able to enjoy himself for once.
"...Now that...was fun!..I just need to get myself in shape as I was before Mustafar happened, then I can really start enjoying myself." Anakin said panting while he took this time to recover his strength further
"..The only other things I still have to do, are to see if I've still got it with my strength in the Force. Then find out if I can even build myself a lightsaber..I highly doubt there's going to be spare parts for one lying around here." Anakin noted to himself in wondering how exactly he was going to be able to make himself a new lightsaber when this place and probably the planet itself lacked the tech needed to create one
After taking more time to recover from his exertions and musing to himself on how he would be able to create himself a new lightsaber as long as he dwelled within Kuoh Town, he then used the Force to float down from the roof of the Walmart and then head off towards the home of the Hyoudou's. The former Sith Lord taking the time to enjoy the peaceful winter night as he headed towards what he would call home for the time being, allowing his mind to do something it rarely had since adjusting to the circumstances that lead to his reincarnation...relax.
Yet it was during his walk that the Force soon alerted him to something that was not only stalking him, but closing in on him with malicious intent; something that irritated the former Dark Lord at the fact that he couldn't enjoy this quiet winter night to himself. Because of that he waited until whatever had been stalking him for quite some time came closer and closer towards him until he soon felt through the Force it lunged towards him intent on tearing him apart with claw and fang, only for it to be halted as though it crashed into an invisible brick wall.
All before it was lifted several feet into the air and with a semi-casual wave of his hand Anakin slammed the creature into the nearest brick wall with such force that said wall collapsed around it and buried it in rubble. The former Jedi Knight didn't even move a single muscle as he saw the rubble and debris shift rapidly before it soon exploded to reveal his attacker glaring at him with malevolent dark emerald eyes, which puzzled him in never having expected something like this to come about.
The creature stood at 2 and a half meters tall a rather muscular but top heavy build that was evident by its oversized arms made of thick and densely packed sinuous muscle that were nearly twice the size of a normal mans' with great foot and a quarter long curved metallic black claws Its skin a pale shade of mulberry, its legs while not as muscular seemed far leaner and almost haggard looking in comparison as each leg led to 4 toed raptor like feet, its face looked like a unholy combination of a womp rats' and a gundark which slightly repulsed the former Jedi knight at its appearance.
"What are you supposed to even be? Furthermore, why are you attacking me?" Anakin questioned as to what even was this creature
"You don't need to know what I am. All that matters is that you'll be my next meal and then I'll get strong enough too…" The stray Devil in question spoke before Anakin used the force to drop a parked pickup truck on top of it
"You want to eat me, got it." Anakin said in having used the force to scan the creatures thoughts that he would get nowhere by asking it simple questions
The ex Sith Lord had done a mental scan using the Force to see what this creature was and from the brief bits he could get that he needed beyond the cannibalistic lust blood, that this..thing was a supposed Devil of some kind. Regardless of the creature that he saw begin tearing its way from being pinned under the pickup truck that it tore apart with its massive claws, the former Jedi Knight remained unfazed as the stray Devil charged towards him and if anything he was ready to use the creature as a test dummy to see if he could still hack it with his offensive Force powers.
With a casual thrusting of his hands he sent out a powerful Force push that not only cracked bones like they were made of cheap cardboard, but also tore apart small fist sized chunks of flesh that had the stray Devil be sent flying three buildings away. Anakin followed after the infernal creature with a burst of Force assisted speed to that despite its wounds it came running towards him like a rabid Kath hound ready to tear the flesh from his bones, only for it to be rendered immobile as it was caught in a Force grip and slammed hard into the concrete.
He then flung it a dozen feet into the air where the moment he began to descend he used the Force to tear open a fire hydrant and direct the highly pressurized stream of water towards the creatures' stomach and narrowing said water stream so that when it impacted the creatures flesh it drilled through it with little resistance. Tearing a modestly sized hole through its upper abdomen and causing spurts of dark burgundy colored ichor to erupt from its wound as it crashed to the ground
"If this is the best a...Devil can do. Then I think I won't have much trouble with you." Anakin spoke as he summoned forth a manhole cover that began to hover and rotate at such speeds that you could hear the winds start to howl
"You think you can mock me... w-when your only.. reason to... b-be alive is to…. be my food, you miser…" The stray Devil bellowed out before the spinning manhole cover was sent flying and literally disarmed the fiend of its right arm at the bicep
The stray Devil roared and screeched in pain as blood gushed from the wound while his severed limb clattered to the ground in a bloody heap as the former Sith Lord then used his powers to maneuver the manhole cover that acted as a pseudo buzzsaw to flay off chunks of its flesh, forcing the Devil in question to have to dodge and evade the manhole cover. All the while Anakin was also using the Force to pelt it with anything that wasn't nailed down with the force of a runaway speeder bike, causing it to fall flat on its face and be staggered back by what was essentially a swirling maelstrom of loose debris.
All the while Anakin was mostly manipulating the storm of swirling debris like a maestro would conduct a high-end jazz band, with him taking some small manner of joy in watching the infernal creature try in vain to defend itself against the blur of metal and stone that battered and shredded it into submission. With the onslaught of debris continuing on for nearly a minute before the stray Devil tried lunging at the former Jedi intent on impaling him with its single limb that had its claw outstretched, only for it to once more be stopped in its tracks by Anakin stopping it in its tracks with a bone crushing Force grip. Before using his free hand to send all of the debris he used to batter it into a bloody pulp to come crashing into it with such speed and force that it was turned into a unrecognizable mess of blood, gore, shattered bones, crushed in metal and stone that lie as a limp heap onto the ground.
"..I still got it..Now all I need to do is actually get myself in shape again and actually do training. I'd rather not have my second chance cut short." Anakin remarked at the fact that with there being more of these creatures out there; getting himself in fighting shape as quickly as possible was extremely necessary
(1 week later, January 30th, 2017, 9:45 Pm, Hyoudou Residence)
It was nearly a week and a half later for the former Jedi Knight who had spent this period of downtime practicing with his Force abilities to get used to what he felt was a no longer stifled connection to the Force on top of doing physical training to get his new body up to as much speed as possible. Yet the one thing he also was currently doing was meditation in doing so not only to see how many enemy signatures there were in the town, but also to see what this mystery power he felt within was everytime he reached out to use his Force powers.
'Now what even are you?' Anakin thought to himself as he continued to reach outwards towards whatever this entity was within him
The process that had been going on for over an hour continued with growing success as the more he reached out with the Force the more he felt a powerful amount of heat and pressure come over him that continued to rise in potency as though he were flying a B-Wing out of the way of a sun. Soon enough he began sweating almost profusely from how much it had built up until he suddenly found his presence shunted from his physical form and somewhere he never expected he'd see again.
Which was the sprawling cityscape of Coruscant in all its grandeur, but not only that as the city was the way it was before his former Sith master in Darth Sidious had come to power yet with one notable difference that caught his attention. That being throughout the night sky of the megacity for a planet were that instead of multitude of stars were multiple fiery streaks of bright emerald and robust ruby red that constantly streaked , swirled , and crisscrossed the night sky in a dizzying display. Alongside the fact that instead of abyss where the lower levels of the planet bely its underground was instead a sea of flames of bright marigolds, vibrant crimsons and rose pinks that lit up the world around him in a almost blinding display, yet oddly enough the searing river of fire despite its intense heat wasn't enough to melt the flesh off his bones despite the fact that it was almost as hot as a starship's engines.
"..I must say that out of all my partners, you are by far one of the most interesting. If not the most interesting of them all from what I've seen from you. I can sense that together we will do great things and show the world our combined strength!" A deep rumbling voice that sounded like the engines of a Star Destroyer that shook the area around him
"Who are you and why are you inside my head and my body?!" Anakin questioned as he tried looking around for the source of the voice
"I am known as Ddraig, the Red Dragon Emperor. For why I am within you, the reason is simple Skywalker. We are now partners and we have much to discuss with one another." The voice now known as Ddraig told him before the almost deafening sound of great wings was heard coming from the depths below
The deafening beating of wings grew louder and louder until Anakin had to cover his ears from how loud it became until soon soon enough a large flash of red came barreling out of the depths of Coruscant, the speed of which the massive figure came rising forth nearly knocked him off his feet. With it being once the former Sith Lord had taken a few moments to re-collect himself after being nearly knocked on his ass did he take a moment to take a look at what he assumed was Ddraig, as he had to admit that what he saw before him was a titanic creature of vast power that made even the Emperor look like a maggot in power.
Ddraig in terms of sheer staggering size was half the size of a star destroyer with numerous deep cherry red and robust crimson colored scales that covered his body like high-grade armor, with ivory claws on each of his massive legs that could tear through a trio of B-wing bombers like it was childs' play. All the while golden and scarlet colored spikes ran across his body while a crown of golden ones were wreathed throughout his head, his massive wings unfurled to the point where they nearly blocked out the sky and tinted it in crimson red and lastly were his giant absinthe green draconian eyes that held countless centuries of intellect, battle experience and pride as one of the most powerful dragons.
"So your what I've felt inside of me everytime I've used my powers…" Anakin spoke while looking up at the gigantic dragon before him and quite a bit impressed at the sight of the creature before him
"Yes. Your command over what you call the Force is most impressive. In fact from what I've seen from your memories, you are a most impressive warrior on a scale I didn't think was possible to even achieve." Ddraig replied which for the first time since being here after being reincarnated into his new body put a look of surprise onto his face
"You..You've gone through my memories..just how much have you gone through exactly?" Anakin questioned wondering just how much of his memories in both aspects of his life had this dragon gone through
"From your beginning as a Jedi Knight to the bitter end of when you saved your own offspring. I will say that regardless of what you've done as either a Jedi or Sith from what they are called. That you are rather remarkable in all of the incredible feats you've accomplished across your lifetime. By far the most interesting of all those I have been partnered with!" Ddraig answered back to having used the time from the Sith Lords' reincarnation till now to have gone through the events of his life and would admit that he was by far the most interesting of his partners
"I don't know if I should feel complimented that you appreciate my greatness. Or disgusted that you decided to go through my memories without my permission, especially when you've seen my less than...favorable moments." Anakin spoke in not knowing how to feel about this entity who had gone through his memories as though they were some news article on the Holonet
"I will apologize about that later. For now, I wish to discuss how I can help you grow stronger and make you better than ever!" Ddraig replied his eyes shining in excitement over his powerful new partner
"You want to make me stronger, right off the bat? What exactly do you gain out of doing this? Better yet what strings are attached to you making me grow stronger?" Anakin questioned on what the Heavenly Dragon gained from any of this
"What I gain is simply a stronger partner. It benefits neither of us for you to struggle for your own improvements and remain at a lesser level of power. Therefore, it will serve us both well if I make 'modifications' to improve you. The only thing that I currently require from you is to become strong enough so that one can dare to enslave you or force you to bend the knee to them as some subservient dog. I will not have any partner of mine be made a slave to anyone or anything!" Ddraig answered on what exactly he would gain from all of this
Something that couldn't be argued with from the perspective of the fallen Jedi Knight, as why struggle to become even more powerful when he was being given the power to greatly increase all of abilities and then some by this entity within him. The best part about all of this was that the only stipulation of this was that the only stipulation to this was that he work towards becoming so strong that no one would dare to force him to bend the knee ever again, something that Anakin was all too happy to oblige by after his decades long servitude towards Lord Sidious.
"This sounds like a more than reasonable deal. I plan to bow before no one ever again, working under the Emperor as Darth Vader was more than enough humiliation and debasement for one lifetime." Anakin spoke as the mere thought of working under someone from his past experiences under the Emperor was enough to make his rage start to boil over
"Very good, very good to see your onboard. By the time I'm finished augmenting this body of yours, you should be as strong if not stronger as you were when you were fighting as a Sith Lord, yet far faster than before you were crippled on that lava planet. Not to mention durable enough to handle a punch from a giant, I don't need to have my partner being a lightweight when it comes to fighting after all." Ddraig told him in terms of where his physical augmentations for Anakin would lead in their finality
"You can do that?!" Anakin asked in surprise while Ddraig gave a massive fanged smile that wreaked of pure smugness
"Of course I can. Granted the process will take a few months to reach its final stages, but starting out I can make it so that your physical body will be at the level you were before you were crippled. Although that in and of itself will take a few days and the process of that...well just be prepared to feel a lot of pain is all I can say." Ddraig answered back as to how long the process of physical modifications would take until it reached its full completion
"I care not for the amount of time this will take. All that matters are the results of my getting strong enough to defend myself from whatever creatures will come after me..Besides, this will give me more than ample time to further train with my power in the Force. On top of that it also means that I will get to work on a few abilities that I wished to try during my tenure as a Sith, but due to my 'limitations' never had the chance to carry out." Anakin replied as he was fine with his the allotted time it would take for his new body to reach completion in terms of being physically augmented while he himself worked on his Force abilities
"After all, this place will serve me well to be used as adequate training grounds to sharpen up my skills. I do not know what dangers this new world has for me, so being as prepared as I possibly can is of utmost importance." Anakin added in seeing this town that from what he sensed through the Force was teeming with Devils, monsters and all sorts of threats would serve as a perfect means to sharpen his Force abilities
"If nothing else to say, then I can tell this will be the start of a wondrous partnership between the two of us." Ddraig spoke in seeing this as the start of a great partnership between the two of them
"I agree. I don't know what is in store for me in the strange new world. However, with you at my side I have a feeling that I'll be able to take on anything." Anakin replied with hope at being able to take on all of the future threats that would soon come his way
(2 weeks later, February 16th, 2017, O.R.C Building, 1:45 Pm)
It would be 2 weeks later as Rias was with her longtime friend in Sona Sitri discussing something that had come to both of their attention in the form of none other than Issei Hyoudou who had decided to take a leave of absence from Kuoh until the following semester.
"Are you sure that you wish to choose Hyoudou to be in your peerage, Rias? I'm sure there are others here in Kuoh that would make for more...serviceable recruits to your peerage. At least one that isn't one of the most infamous perverts to 'grace' our campus." Sona questioned her friends' judgement in choosing one of the Pervert Trio to join her ranks
"I am completely sure about this. I have absolute confidence that if I can convince him to join me, that my chances of getting away from Riser will be foolproof!" Rias answered back with complete confidence that with the now former Jedi on her side that there would be no way she could lose
"You seem rather confident that Hyoudou of all people will bring you assured victory. What makes you that confident, Rias? From what records have shown he has little to no magical potential, his family bloodline as far as we've gone back has shown no one of note to be within it and physically he is as average as any other student. So what makes him so special?" Sona questioned as to what made the Hyoudou boy so special that Rias would put so much stock with him
"That is thanks to having Koneko having kept watch and observe him since he's pulled out of the Academy for this semester. Apparently he had convinced his parents to let him take this semester off to focus on himself. From there he's had an abundance of free time to do as he pleases." Rias answered back in having had Koneko on observation duty concerning the ex Sith Lord
With it unknown to Rias or anyone really that Anakin had pulled off his getting Gorou and Miki to allow him to take off the following school semester to focus on himself, due to some mind tricks and mental manipulations thanks to the Force. Leaving him ample time to train and sharpen his abilities in the Force as well as experiment and discover new Force abilities that he never truly had the chance to delve into in his past life, on top of getting himself in better and better physical shape so that he could enjoy doing feats on intense athleticism and acrobatics that he enjoyed doing before his disfigurement on Mustafar.
"What exactly has Koneko found out about him?" Sona inquired on what exactly the pint-sized Rook had gathered on the pervert
"That he isn't as average as we originally thought. Far from it, Sona. It is thanks to Koneko I think I may have hit the jackpot!" Rias spoke with excitement at her voice at how she had hit the motherload in terms of potential recruits to her peerage
"Hmmm, I can tell from that expression on your face that your not lying." Sona said in seeing the hopeful look on her friends' face
"This is something I wouldn't lie about at all Sona. In fact with him at my side I know full well that my problems will be solved." Rias replied in full confidence that with the former Sith Lord on her side that her problems would have a definitive end to them
"If your as confident about Hyoudou's abilities as you claim to be, then perhaps you won't mind sharing what exactly he's capable of?" Sona requested of the Gremory heiress, as she was now keen in hearing on what made Hyoudou so impressive to Rias
That in mind, Rias gladly told her longtime friend of the reports that were given to her by Koneko on the former Jedi Knights abilities that had been witnessed over the nearly month long period and suffice to say Sona was now intrigued and interested in the ex-Sith Lord. With feats of telekinesis that could collapse buildings on top of monsters and stray Devils, displaying feats of speed and strength that put him on the level with either of their Rooks or Knights; so suffice it to say that after hearing from Rias on what exactly he could do that Sona's mind had been adequately changed.
"It seems as though you truly have hit the jackpot as you've put it Rias." Sona spoke in having to admit that what the Jedi Knight could was rather impressive to say the least
"Although, if you know of how strong he is. Why is it that you haven't made your move towards recruiting him into your peerage? If Koneko's reports are anything to go by, then you should do this as quickly as possible." Sona added in wondering why Rias hadn't made her moves towards getting the former Sith Lord into her peerage if he would be such a powerful asset
"That is because it is still too soon to do anything. For starters I don't know all of what he's capable of and just how truly powerful he really is. He could make for a great Knight alongside Kiba, or a powerful Rook or perhaps a fantastic Bishop or Pawn to add to my lovely peerage. So all of these are possibilities for him, I don't want to make the mistake of incorrectly reincarnating him into something that doesn't make use of his powers and abilities. That is why until I know more about what he can do, I am holding off on making my attempts towards having him join my side." Rias explained on her reasoning as to why she hadn't gone forth to make her attempts at having Anakin joining her side in not wanting to incorrectly squander his powers by rushing into things
"Not to mention that with him no longer being on campus, your chances of getting any face to face time to talk with him is rather limited. Something that works against you, as there's only so much time that you have to make your plan work to get out of your marriage." Sona added her input on how with him off campus that her chances to further sway him to her side were few and far between
"I know Sona. However, I can't afford to botch this at all. If I make even one wrong move to hopefully get him on my side, then my chances of my plan working against Riser go from slim to nil. Then its back to the drawing board again." Rias replied as she knew that patience was also key to her plan to recruit Anakin to her side, as she knew full well that if she were to rush things then the results would no go very well
"Besides, the more patient I am before I make my move. The more he'll show what latent abilities he has at his disposal. Which means that I will have a better chance of figuring out his place in my peerage...Hopefully, he'll love being with us." Rias added with high hopes that the former Jedi Knight would come to love being in her peerage
"You can cross that bridge once you get to it. I on the other hand with how much you've talked up Hyoudou, will also send some from my peerage to keep tabs on him. After all, I can't let you get all the good ones." Sona said in feeling that after how much she hyped up Anakin that she'd be a fool not yo try and have some of her own go after him as well
"As if I'd let you snag him from me, Sona. I had my eyes on him first! There's no way I'd let you get to him when he'd obviously be far happier in my peerage. I'm sure he'll be happy once I start spoiling him all he wants." Rias retorted with a self-assured smile on her face that she would be able to get the former Jedi onto her side far easier than Sona could
"It looks as though the only thing bigger than your bust size is your ego if you think you will be able to snatch him up so easily. So don't go thinking you'll have this in the bag so easily, Rias." Sona replied in knowing full well that Rias's ego in this would be her downfall and she would lay claim to a rather powerful asset
"Then how about we make a wager then." Rias said keeping her confident smile on her face that had the attention of her counterpart in Sona
"What did you have in mind?" Sona questioned the Gremory heiress on what she had in mind
"How about this. If I can get Issei into my peerage before the end of the year then my peerage and I get first call to going into the Familiar Forest and vice versa for you and your peerage if you can do the same. Are you up to the challenge Sona, or is this something that you think you can handle?" Rias answered with a somewhat smug smile knowing full well that in what their wager would entail she had this in the bag over her childhood friend
"I'll hold you to that Rias. Just don't come crying to me when I acquire Hyoudou before you do. I'm sure he'll make a wonderful asset onto my peerage." Sona said with a confident smirk on her face that she would be able to get Anakin on her peerage before Rias
"Then may the best Devil win. Hopefully you won't hold it against me when you lose." Rias responded sure of herself that there was no way she could lose this bet
"The same to you Rias. Also if you have nothing else to do today, then perhaps you would like to play in a friendly chess match?" Sona asked her longtime friend if she wouldn't mind participating in a game of chess with her
"Sure. This time I'll beat you! Mark my words Sona, that winning streak of yours is coming to an end soon enough." Rias answered back in feeling that this time around she would be able to best her friend in a game of chess
"Whatever you say to make yourself feel better, Rias. Just know that it isn't my fault if you lose for the...I'm sorry I can't remember how many time I've beaten you..Its hard when your one of the best in the Underworld." Sona shot back her tone of voice and demeanor being colored by a sense of smugness you'd be hard pressed to miss on her face
'I swear one of these days I'll find a way to wipe that smug smirk off her face.' Rias thought to herself as she spent the next few hours trying to best her longtime friend in a series of chess matches to no avail
With former Sith Lord Darth Vader having found a new beginning in a unexpected 2nd chance in a whole new world full of strange creatures and things beyond even him, so armed with a Heavenly Dragon and the power of the Force at his side; it looks as though Anakin Skywalker will have a hell of a time in his new environment. That takes care of that as I hoped you guys have enjoyed the debut of my new story, as I figured that there's a lack of Star Wars and DXD stories out there so why not rectify this situation and make a hopefully good story out of it. But without further delay let's get into it now shall we.
First up we've got Vader or rather Anakin waking up within his new body and now realizing that he's in a whole other ballpark so to speak and realizing that he also has his command over the Force still intact.
Following that we've got him basically messing around with his Force abilities and him obliterating a stray Devil in the process to see if he can still hack it with his power in the Force.
Coming up after that is his first encounter with Ddraig who makes a partnership with the former Sith Lord/ Jedi Knight in seeing him as a great partner who he sees no reason not to help grow stronger from having seen what he's capable of.
Lastly we've got a bit with Rias and Sona in where they discuss the former Sith Lord in already having put out people to observe and witness his capabilities which makes sense considering that with someone of Vader's caliber you'd be stupid not to keep tabs on him.
That being said I hope y'all enjoy this story and what's to come in the future chapters of it as well as favoriting, following and sending in reviews so that we can hopefully make this a pretty decent story. As flames for the most part will be ignored unless you got anything nice to say or that helps the story then go somewhere else.
