Chapter 4
Anzio and Gazef were currently in one of the village houses looking at the magic casters which were lined up in the field outside of the village.
„Gzef-dono would you know with which nation these magic casters are affiliated with ?" Anzio broke the silence.
„Only the Slane Theocracy could assemble this much magic casters it must be one of their six scriptures." Gazef replied.
„So the knights dressed as soldiers of the Baharuth empire were probably from the Slane theocracy huh.. but why would they attack this village it doesen't seem to hold any significant value." Anzio thought out loud.
„If you don't know why they're here then there is only one posibillity." Gazef muttered.
„It seems you are quite despised Head Warrior." Anzio concluded
„This is quite problematic. To think event the Slane Theocracy would be after me." Gazef sighed and looked at Anzio.
„Anzio-dono I beg you.."Gazef was about to kneel down but Anzio placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him.
„There is no need for begging Gazef-dono. I will keep the village safe and I will help you fight them. People who send out knights to kill innocents are someone I'd gladly fight and defeat." Anzio looked towards the magic casters of the Slane Theocracy.
„The angels they summoned seem to be Archangel flames summoned by third tier magic." Anzio informed Gazef.
„Those summons will be troublesome for my troops to deal with. But I can cut them down." Gazef concluded.
Third tier summons are considered problematic ? The power level of this world is incredibly low. But I shouldn't get too cocky.
„Hmm very well." What to do. Gazef seems to be pretty high level for this world's standards if the Slane theocracy sent one of their entire special units. I could easily take them if they are all third tier magic casters and maybe there is a few fourth tier magic casters. I think that there is a Principality of Obervation which is a fourth tier summon. Hmm I don't want to reveal a full extent of my power but I think it would be benificial if Gazef and some of his soldiers witnessed my power. I could maybe form friendly ties with his kingdom that way. Or they could percieve me as a threat.. hmm I'll take the risk.
„It will take some time to get all of my defensive spells ready so you should go and gather your soldiers and set out first. I will follow behind you." Anzio decided and Gazef nodded.
„Thank you Anzio-dono. I know I have no way to pay you now but I promise you that I will let my king know everything you have done for us and make sure you are rewarded properly." Gazef shook his hands and proceeded to mount his horse and gather his men as they rode out toward the magic casters of the Slane theocracy.
„Albedo. Your job is to protect me. Do not take any part in the fighting. I want to see if I can gain any exp from fighting them." Anzio ordered and then closed his eyes all of the spells he knew appearing in his memor. He took a deep breath as he felt the amount of magic points he had and then instinctually spells began flaring to life one after another iluminating his body in glowing light of different colors.

„This is probably overkill and a waste of magic points but better safe than sorry." Anzio looked out towards the field and noticed the knights were severely outclassed by the Archangel flames. Gazef could hold his own but even he struggled when he was outnumbered. „Let's go Albedo, I don't want to keep Gazef waiting." Anzio began humming some old song from the 21st century as he walked towards the battlefield and began analyzing the situation in detail. Hmmm it really is hard for a knight to fight a flying enemy huh. It's even worse if the knights are at a numerical disadvantage it gets even worse. The magic casters can replace all of the defeated Archangel flames with new ones as long as they have enough magic points. As Anzio was nearing the battlefield he noticed Gazef say something.

Woahhh what was that.. That's not from Yggdrasil. I don't remember any of the knight classes having anything simmilar. It's still weak compared to a level 100 player's attack but it is pretty powerfull compared to this world's levels. No wonder Gazef is wanted dead by other countries. I'll ask him more about theese martial arts later.
„Those are some good moves you have there Warrior Captain." Anzio complimented him. Hmmm what spell to use. An unholy AOE spell could easily kill the angels but the knights and Gazef would be affected by it aswell. Well I don't need all of the knights to witness this battle and they are all beat up. I'll teleport them to the village store house.

Anzio healed all of the knights and as the warm green healing light hit them they were teleported. In the blink of an eye the battlefield became much emptier.
„Gazef-dono please stand behind me for a bit, I don't want you to get hit by my attack." Anzio instructed. Hmm if I use an unholy attack which buffs demons and damages angels I shouldn't worry about harming Albedo but better be safe than sorry. „Albedo you please stand behind me aswell."
„As you wish." Albedo bowed politely acknowledging the order of her lord. Ohh to witness the Supreme One fight. What an honor I have been granted to witness. Albedo shivered in excitement.
„Hello people of the Slane Theocracy. My name is Anzio of Ainz Ooal Gown." Anzio bowed politely as he introduced himself.
„I am Nigun Grid Luin captain of the Sunlight scripture. Servant of the Six Great Gods." Nigun introduced himself. He was unsure how strong this person was. To heal and teleport so many people at once he must have used some item. If he did use magic it must have depleted more than half of his mana. It was just a bluff to intimidate us.
„That was some trick you pulled magic caster. But what is it you want ? You do not appear to be an adventurer or a part of the Re-Estize kingdom." Nigun looked at Anzio. The clothes he is wearing look expensive more expensive than what nobles wear.
„You see I have a bit of a relationship with that village and with the Warrior Captain here. He seems to be a good man so I don't like the fact you want him dead."
„So what ? Have you come to beg for the lives of the villagers and Gazef ? Even though you look rich you won't bribe us. And after we kill you and Gazef I'll make sure to burn that village and kill all of it's inhabitants." Nigun spoke a nasty grin appearing on his face.
„Hmm to threaten the lives of villagers I bothered saving. That is simply unforgivable. I have heard you have killed hundreds of innocents already by attacking the surrounding villages. I think you should pay the price of commiting such a sin." Anzio tried to stay in character. Ulbert was a good roleplayer and I don't want to turn out as incompetent in front of Albedo. I hope I'm not being too cringy. Anzio sighed.
„Enough of your bluffing. Have the angels attack this insolent magic caster." Nigun ordered as the summoners ordered their summons. Two angels flew towards Anzio and stabbed him but no blood began to flow. Gazef flinched and was about to jump to help Anzio but then noticed Anzio wasn't even flinching. Anzio brought up his hands and crushed the angels as they disappeared into sparkles of light and got washed away by the wind blowing across the grassy meadow.
„So they really were just Archangel flames huh. I wanted to see them up close to confirm it." Anzio looked up at Nigun whose face was that of surprise and shock.
„J-just how did you survive that ?!"
„High tiered physical nullification. It's an abillity that completely nullifies attacks from low tiered attacks." Anzio explained.
„Have all of the angels attack him now !" Nigun commanded. There is no way we'll lose. I have the miracle of Gods which the cardinal gave me but I need to buy some time to prepare it.
[Wave of damnation]
As Anzio spoke those words a massive crimson wave rose around him and expanded towards the Archangel flames. As the unholy wave hit them a blood curdling screeching sound could be heard. The once white and golden armor of the angels was corroding and melting as dark infernal flames began to appear from every crack in the armor untill the angels completely melted away and the sparkles of light got washed away by the wind once again.
„T.. that's impossible !" The members of the Sunlight scripture were in shock.
„Principality of observation ! Attack !" Nigun ordered the summon. I need just a little more time to get the summon ready. My Principality of Observation is a high tiered angel but if this mysterious man killed so many of third tier angel summons so easily I don't think a fourth tier angel will make much of a difference. As Nigun was freaking out inside he tried to keep a calm composure.
Anzio yawned as if bored. So all the other Sunlight scripture members can cast third tier magic judging by their summons and this Nigun guy can cast fourth tier magic. If a special unit of an entire country is this weak even a single one of my guardians could probably conquer half of the world. As Anzio was deep in thoughts he noticed the Principality of Observation was just about to swing it's mace at him. Anzio stopped the a mace mid swing as he held it with his right hand and conjured a spell with his left hand.
[Hell flame]
A tiny crimson flame floated from the tip of Anzio's indeks finger towards the chest of the angel. As soon as it made contact the Angel was engulfed in flames and as the flames disappeared into nothingness so did the angel.
Gazef was observing the battle in shock. This mysterious magic caster was displaying the power not even the strongest of the Adamantite adventurers could rival. His knees shivered, Gazef had faced magic before and could at least determine what tier of magic was cast against him but right now he was seeing spells on a level of power he couldn't comprehend.
„Impossible ! You monster ! You demon !." The Sunlight scriptures couldn't believe their eyes. They all lined up and began casting spells of their own.
[Open wounds]

[Acid javelin]
The Sunlight scripture members bombared Anzio with all of the attack spells they could think of but their mana pools weren't endless.
„Hmm that's all Yggdrasil magic." Anzio removed his mask revealing his youngish looking face and heterochromic eyes. „Tell me who taught you that magic ?" He spoke with a cold but intimidating voice as his eyes shone with power. One of the Sunlight scripture members got so spooked he fired off a low tier spell at Anzio. Albedo seeing this couldn't take it any more and stepped in front of her lord and deflected the projectile right back at the insolent lower life form which dared to shoot such an insignificant pebble at her lord. The mans head exploded as blood sprayed from the stump of his neck. His body fell down as his comrades stared in shock.
„W..what happened ?" Nigun asked. The speed at which Albedo moved was faster than any human eye could follow.
„Albedo that projectile wouldn't harm me, there was no need for you to use your strenght." Anzio sighed.
„Please wait Anzio-sama, there is a bare minimum required to fight with you Supreme One. To throw such an insignificant pebble at you is mockery." Albedo spoke decisively.
„Well then most of them fail to pass huh." Anzio laughed. Gazef next to him couldn't believe his eyes. He was dubbed the strongest warrior in the kingdom and yet compared to Anzio and this lady covered in armor called Albedo he was but an insect. She called him a Supreme one.. is this a god ? Gazef wondered. No way why would a god do something as generous as to save him. And why would he be attacking people from the Slane Theocracy. Gazef brushed his thoughts aside. Anzio was just the most powerful magic caster he had ever seen not a God.
„Captain Nigun what should we do ?!" One of his comrades asked in panic.
„We shall summon the highest level of angel !" Nigun spoke with confidence as he revealed the sealing crystal.
„Albedo use your skills to protect me. That's a sealing crystall it can contain anything apart from super tier spells If that's what I think it is it could harm me." Anzio instructed. If it's a Seraph Empyrrean a level 100 angel I will have to get serious.
„Behold the angel of the highest order! Dominion Authority !" Nigun spoke with confidence as the crystall released the spell and a white-blue holy light shone upon them and a slight fragrance was brought to the air the angel appeared with numerous rows of pure white wings sprouting from it's back. Anzio looked at the angel in shock and when he heard Nigun call out the angel's name it took all of Anzio's willpower to not break out into laughter.
„T.. this angel is your trump card ?" Anzio was barely keeping it together.
„Yes are you afraid ? I guess it cannot be helped. Nigun spoke so confidently. He couldn't see Anzio was mocking him.
„I'm disappointed to be honest. When you said you were summoning an angel of the 'highest order' I was expecting something a lot more powerful than a simple mid tier angel." Anzio laughed.
„N..no no you're bluffing. Nothing can stand against the angel that killed one of the evil deities. Dominion Authority use [Holy smite] !" Nigun's voice was shivering and his knees were beggining to weaken. If this strike didn't kill this magic caster there would be no way of stopping him.
Anzio stood still as a pillar of white blue light packed with divine power struck him from the heavens. Anzio giggled a little as he looked at his arms as they were enveloped by the holy light. „Hmm is this really how it feels to take damadge.." Well theese clothes were designed to protect me from holy attacks since I was mostly fighting human supremacist guilds like those pricks in Seraphim. Most of the members there were holy magic casters after all so holy smite did minimum damadge. As Albedo witnessed the column descend onto her lord and then she heard him speak saying he took a bit of damadge. Unforgivable. To bring even the slightest of harm or discomfort to the supreme beings was an unforgivable sin.
„Y..you lower life forms… to harm Anzio-sama.. the Supreme one… Know your place trash !" She screamed her lungs out as he powerful aura exploded from her body. Nigun squeaked like a little girl and backed away and so did Gazef instinctively moving slightly further from Albedo's side.
„It's alright Albedo, everything is proceeding as planned. Despite the disappointing weakness of the angel." Anzio placed his hand on her shoulder comfortingly. „Now I guess I should fight back huh." Anzio lifted his hand pointing towards the angel.
[Black hole]
A small black hole opened up on the middle of the Dominion Authority's torso. A hole so powerfull it began sucking in even the light around it along with the angel. The angel disappeared and the black hole closed. The light returned to normal and only proof that the angel was there were the few white feathers left behind by the summon.
„I.. impossible.. t.. this cannot be !" Nigun couldn't believe his own eyes. If I don't do something I'm going to die here ! „Anzio-dono.. no Anzio-sama please spare us.. no spare just me. I alone am valuable enough to be kept alive !" Nigun got on his knees as his comrades looked at him in shock of how easily their commander sold them out.
„Hmm. Gazef. You can have five men as prisoners to interrogate." Anzio decided. „Uhm what will you do with the rest Anzio-dono." Gazef gathered enough courage to ask that. „I am new to this area so I would also like to gather lots of information. Don't worry if I find out anythining regarding the Re-Estize kingdom I'll let you know." Anzio patted his back. „Uh how can I contact you ?" Gazef asked. „Theese here are message scrolls. Just open up and think of the person you want to talk to. I'll be busy for a few weeks so I'd appreciate it if you could contact me after a month." Anzio smiled as Gazef took five of the Sunlight scripture members hostage and tied them up. He gathered his men which were rested by now and started leaving the storage house. „I hope we meet again Head Warrior." Anzio smiled and as soon as they were out of view he forced Nigun and the remaining members of the Sunlight scripture through a gate and into Nazarick. „Albedo take them to Neuronist. Have her extract as much information as possible but tell her not to kill any of them understood ?"
„As you wish Lord Anzio." Albedo bowed down.
„Oh and gather all of the guardians in the throne room tommorrow at 10 in the morning, oh and send me all the valuable information you learn from our captives in 6 hours." Anzio added then went to the library of Asurbanipal. Anzio wasn't planning on sleeping tonight. He was reading through summoning rituals and all sorts of magic when Albedo arrived to deliver the report. „Thank you Albedo." Anzio began reading the report. Hmm so the 6 great gods they were worshiping arrived here 600 years ago and taught the humans tier magic. And the evil deities also arrived here after them but were defeated by the thirteen heroes. Hmm all of theese sound like players from Yggdrasil. The sealing crystal left by the gods is also an item from Yggdrasil.. Could it be some players also brought world items here.. I should be wary of those. Hmm but I arrived 600 years after the six. But Yggdrasil lasted only 12 years so is it possible time flows differently here.. Anzio was soon lost in research, analyzing all of the info he got from the prisoners. Albedo dropped by a few more times since the Sunlight scripture members just kept spilling more and more info. Before Anzio knew it the sun had risen and the night passed. He stood up and stretched. It was then he noticed Decrement behind him. He was lost deep in work he hadn't noticed her. „Oh morning Decrement." Anzio yawned.
„Good morning Anzio-sama. Forgive my insolence in asking but why did you work here and not in your office. We could have easily delivered any book you asked for." Decrement spoke.
„Oh force of habit. I used to study here when I was younger. So it is the most comfortable workspace I can think of." Anzio smiled.
„Hmm knowing Albedo and the guardians, everyone should have already gathered in the throne room. Let's go Decrement." Anzio smiled. He began walking confidently towards the throne room. I know what my goal is right now. I will make it come true.
Decrement announced Anzio as he began walking along the red carpet to the Throne of Kings. „Announcing the Supreme ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazatick. Lord Anzio !"
As Anzio sat on the throne and the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown levitated towards him all of the guardians knelt.
„Thank you all for gathering here. I have an important announcement to make." Anzio spoke. He was nervous but he was also excited.
„Judging by the information gathered from the captured humans. Other players have arrived in this world before us but they have all passed away. This means there is a chance my comrades might arrive here in the future." Anzio spoke and all of the npcs looked at him with hope and excitement. „There is also a chance a summoning spell of some sorts transported us here. There are no records of such spell in the library of Asurbanipal but I have already witnessed some abilities in this world which were not from Yggdrasil. If there is a different type of magic we will search the entire world and find a way to learn such a summoning spell. My comrades are currently in an ugly world. They are relatively safe but I want to get them here." The guardians couldn't believe their Lord was being so kind as to help reunite them with their creators.
„Forgive. My. Insolence. My. Lord. But. Is. It. Truly. The. Wish. Of. The. Other. Supreme. Ones. To. Be. Summoned. Here. ?" Cocytus spoke.
Before the other guardians could reprimand him Anzio spoke.
„Hmm it might be true. Some like Touch-me-sensei have a family in that world but if I find a way to summon them here too I doubt they would miss anything from that world, trust me. This world is far more beautiful than the one we come from." Anzio spoke. „I also have a reason to believe the flow of time is different. 50 years in this world should be only 1 year in the old world. So no hurry we have enough time to get them here. The power levels of this world are weak but we will proceed with caution. Judging by the results of our investigation one human can cast sixth tier magic, a few fifth tier and the rest are lucky to reach the third or fourth tier." Anzio informed them.
„Now, my guardians, work hard so we can bring back all of the 41 !" Anzio stood up as the entire hall, all of the npcs of Ainz Ooal Gown gathered her cried out in joy.
