Blair paced around her room, coming up with new ideas.
"I could make sure they're trapped in the same room. Maybe in an elevator like a couple of years ago..." Blair smiled. "Yes, perfect"
Dorota sighed. "But Miss Blair, didn't Lonely Boy and Miss Serena break up then?"
"Yes... Yes they did. Need to rethink this" Blair ran her fingers through her hair, trying to come up with a new strategy.
"Why don't you make Miss Serena look pretty?" Dorota suggested.
"What a lame idea Dorota! Serena always looks pretty" Blair exclaimed with resentment. She turned to Dorota. "Look, Serena is in love with Dan. She always has been and most likely always will be" Dorota noticed a slight glimmer of sadness in her eyes. "Dan used to love her. I'm sure that spark can be reignited"
"You cannot force Lonely Boy to fall in love" Dorota said with utter confusement on her face.
"Dorota, please, call him Dan" Blair sighed. "Or Mister Dan if you prefer"
"Okay Miss Blair. Mister Dan is a romantic. He can't be forced to fall in love. When he falls in love it's out of passion and desire. They way he now looks at Miss Serena is not the same as when you were in high school"
"That is where you are wrong Dorota. Yes, Dan is a romantic but he will always have feelings for Serena" Blair slumped on her bed. "Dan is so sad at the moment. He needs to have someone special. Someone who he can watch movies with and order takeout, someone who will laugh at his so-called jokes. Someone who he can discuss and sometimes debate with about literature, film and art..."
"But Miss Blair, that someone is you" Dorota said. Blair stood up.
"That's where you're wrong Dorota! Wrong!" Blair exclaimed. Dorota rolled her eyes. "Dan needs Serena. Tonight Nate is having a party so they'll both be there. There's an exhibit at MoMA which he's interested in. I'll take Serena, tell her about it so she can have something to dicuss with him. They'll reignite their spark..." she smiled. "I'm a genius!"
"Yes, Miss Blair. That is what you are" Dorota added sarcastically. Blair narrowed her eyes at her.
"Go get Serena. And your coat. We're going on a field trip"

Dan was sitting on the sofa, coffee in hand as he stared at a letter the publishing house sent him. They wanted to make his book into a play. Dan was in shock that he just stared at the piece of paper that he didn't realise the door had opened.
"Well well well" he heard a malicious voice say. He snapped but to see Georgina enter his loft. "This place hasn't changed since I was last here"
"What do you want Georgina?" he asked as he quickly covered up his letters.
"For you to cut your hair" Dan frowned as the only one who could mock his hair was Blair. "But onto more pressing matters. I know you're the one to send the video into Gossip Girl"
Dan choked. "Sorry, what?"
"You know, the one where Blair, the girl you're in love with, was confessing her undying love for Chuck at her wedding to Louis" Georgina laughed with boredom as if this situation was nothing new.
"That wasn't me" Dan said with confidence.
"You don't fool me Dan" Georgina gave a knowing smile. "I know it was you. I have my sources. Wonder what Blair would think if she found out?"
Dan frowned. "I didn't send that video into Gossip Girl"
"Sure you did. Anyway I best be off. I'll see you at Nate's party tonight" and before Dan could respond she was out of the door. Dan sighed as he sunk into the sofa, dreading the night Georgina had planned ahead.
