Hello everyone, this is Raychiu. And this story is going to be the sequel of the Kalos Journey in the anime. In this story, Ash and Serena are traveling through Hoenn Region and Ash will capture new Pokemon but not ALL Pokemon.

Chapter 1 Arriving at Hoenn

Ash is now sitting on the plane, it is actually the plane that goes from Kanto to Hoenn. Pikachu is running around as he looks at his trainer with confusion, while Ash is just spacing out as he is thinking about the past.

"Ash, can I have one last thing?" Serena says as she suddenly rushes back up from the elevator, kissing him on the lips, much to his surprise. Then she rushes back on the escalator and says, "Thank you!"

Because of the action that Serena made, Ash is now thinking a lot. With his mother talking to him after arriving back at Kanto, he finally realizes that he is in love with Serena. Not wanting to let go of Serena, he is now on the plane going to Hoenn, in hopes of finding Serena there.

"Serena, please wait for me...I am coming..." Ash says with a smile as he looks at the Hoenn Region that is in front of them through the plane window.

In the morning of the Hoenn Region, Serena is stretching her arms at the Pokemon Center in Littleroot Town, she says, "Somehow, I feel that today is going to be amazing."

Behind her, Sylveon, Braxien, and Pancham also agree with her as Serena turns around and facing them. "What do we say we continue our training?"

The three Pokemon nod as they start to prepare their usual performance routine. But Serena is also in deep thought, she says, "It is just a day...and I already missed him...I know it might not be possible...but will he come to Hoenn as well?"

"Judging from the Pokemon, are you perhaps from Kalos?" Serena's thoughts are stopped as she turns around, seeing a man walking in front of her. Serena notices the lab coat and she asks, "Are you perhaps the Professor of this Hoenn Region?"

"Why of course, my name is Professor Birch. What's your name?" Birch asks.

"I am Serena, I am from Vaniville Town." Serena says.

"Vaniville Town, it is really similar to this Littleroot Town." Birch says, and Serena says, "I have noticed it."

"So what are you doing here in the Hoenn Region?" Professor Birch asks, and Serena says, "I am here because I want to try out a challenge known as Contests."

"I see, how about coming to my lab? That way I can help you out with what you need to do in this Hoenn Region." Professor Birch says as Serena nods, recalling her Pokemon and then following him to the lab.

At the same time, Ash and Pikachu are now at the lab as well, but they find it empty. Ash says, "Strange, I thought that Professor Birch will be here...Maybe I should wait for him."

Pikachu nods as they sit down at the table, but then they hear a voice, "H-help me!"

Ash and Pikachu hear the voice and Ash says, "That sounds like Professor Birch! Maybe we should go help."

Pikachu nods as they rush outside, only to see that the Professor has a girl by his side and the girl is using Mudkip. "Mudkip! Use Water Gun!"

Ash recognizes the voice as Serena's as Mudkip sprays the water at Poochyena, causing it to faint.

"Whew… You saved me. Thanks a lot! Serena!" Professor Birch says.

"No problem, Professor." Serena says, "But I was surprised that you would want me to use one of the Starter Pokemon from Hoenn..."

"It's fine." Professor Birch says, but then they hear a voice, "Serena..."

Serena hears the voice as she widens her eyes, she thinks, "No, it can't be..."

She turns around and Ash and Pikachu are in front of them, even though Ash is wearing a different outfit, but she recognizes the face. "Ash..."

The two of them rush at each other and they hug for a while. Serena says, "Ash...is this a dream? You are here..."

"If it was a dream, I won't want to wake up. I have come to find you, Serena." Ash says, and Serena's face becomes red after the words.

Professor Birch smiles and he decides to interrupt the two children's moments. Professor Birch says, "Long time no see, Ash."

Ash breaks the hug and he smiles, "Professor Birch, it is nice to see you as well." Pikachu also greets the Professor, and Serena asks, "Ash? you know the Professor?"

"How come I don't know?" Ash laughs, "He had come to my house for once."

"That brings back old memories, why don't we talk in the lab?" Birch says as they get into the lab.

Once they sit down in the lab, Serena asks, "Ash? What brings you to Hoenn? Not that I don't like it, but it surprises me."

"I know, I am here because of what happened yesterday." Ash says, "You know...the escalator thing..."

Serena blushes as she remembers what she did to Ash, and Ash continues, "After I go back to Kanto, I have been thinking of it, my mother and Professor Oak suggest me to come to Hoenn so that I can hear your thoughts."

"My...thoughts?" Serena asks, and Ash says, "Serena. I realize that I love you, which is why I come all the way from Kanto to Hoenn, so that I can be with you."

Serena can't believe what she is hearing, her crush and her love is now confessing his feelings for her, and she says, "Ash...are you serious?"

Ash kisses her on the lips once again, and she blushes as she enjoys it. Once they break the kiss, Ash asks, "Does that answer your question?"

Serena smiles, "Of course it did. I love you as well."

Pikachu is happy that his trainer has confessed, and he nuzzles at Serena to show affection as well. Professor Birch walks towards them and he says, "It is surprising to see Ash grown up into a man with a girlfriend."

Ash pouts and says, "You say like I am just a little kid...but it sure has been years since we last met, and people will grow when they get older."

"That's true." Birch turns to Serena and says, "So Serena, as thanks for rescuing me, I'd like you to have the Pokémon you used earlier."

As he takes the Pokeball, it is a Mudkip, Serena asks, "Are you sure? Professor? You want me to keep this Mudkip?"

"Of course. Take it." Birch smiles as Serena takes the Pokemon. Professor Birch says, "And I also have a present for the two of you. Ash, do you remember this?"

Ash looks at the device in his hands and he says, "Isn't this the Poke Nav? It really brings back old memories."

"This is called the PokeNav Plus, It was produced by the Devon Corporation. There is the Area Nav, which shows you the direction, the Dex Nav that shows the Pokemon around the area."

"That's awesome, thank you, Professor." Ash and Serena say in unison, and the Professor smiles, "You're welcome. Now I have work to do."

After Professor Birch leaves the two alone, Ash turns to Serena and says, "Serena, since we are here, how about I show you the Pokemon that I am having on this journey?"

"I want to see it." Serena says with a smile. Once they are at the yard of the lab, Ash sends out the Pokemon, which is Charizard, Sceptile, Glalie, Gible, Leavanny, Boldore, and Noivern. Serena is in awe at the sight of so many Pokemon, and she says, "Wow, it is so good to see you all."

Noivern is the one that recognizes Serena as they share a hug, as for the others, they are curious about the girl in front of her as they get to know each other. Ash says, "You see, Serena. I actually have more Pokemon, but they decide to stay at the lab."

"I can tell." Serena says as she sends out her four Pokemon, Braixen, Pancham, Sylveon and Mudkip. The four Pokemon also greet with one another as well.

"The Pokémon and people you will meet… And the great expanse of nature that lies before you! Experience them both while you fill in your Pokédex. I'd love it if your world seemed wider than ever! Though I'd love it even more if you came back from time to time to show me what progress you've made. …Arghhh! I'm getting the itch to get out and do fieldwork again!" Professor Birch says.

"Well, I just hope that no accidents are happening again." Ash says with a sweatdrop.

After bidding farewell to Professor Birch, the group is now at Route 101. Ash says, "Since Professor Birch gives us a PokéNav Plus, how about we try it out?"

"That's great." As they open the PokéNav Plus, they find that there is a Dex Nav and they see some shadows of Pokemon in the grass. "What are those?"

"If I remember from the shadows, this is Poochyena, it is an omnivore—it will eat anything. A distinguishing feature is how large its fangs are compared to its body. This Pokémon tries to intimidate its foes by making the hair on its tail bristle out." Ash says.

"I think that is why it is chasing Professor Birch around." Serena says, "And I think I recognize this one, it is a Zigzagoon. The hair on Zigzagoon's back is bristly. It rubs the hardback hair against trees to leave its territorial markings. This Pokémon may play dead to fool foes in battle."

"I never know about that." Ash laughs. Serena notices the small worm Pokemon and she says, "You know, Ash, I think I want to capture this Pokemon."

Ash notices the Pokemon and says, "A Wurmple. I know that Wurmple is targeted by Swellow as prey. This Pokémon will try to resist by pointing the spikes on its rear at the attacking predator. It will weaken the foe by leaking poison from the spikes."

"And it can evolve into a beautiful Beautifly, or maybe a Dustox, it depends on the chance. Anyway, I want to catch it." Serena says as she throws the Pokeball, and Wurmple is captured in the end.

"Nice job, Serena." Ash says, and Serena thanks Ash. They continue to look at the Dex Nav, they also find three Pokemon that aren't supposed to be in Hoenn.

"That's Lillipup. Though it is a very brave Pokémon, it's also smart enough to check its foe's strength and avoid battle. For this one, it is Sewaddle, Since this Pokémon makes its own clothes out of leaves, it is a popular mascot for fashion designers. And the last one is Zorua: To protect themselves from danger, they hide their true identities by transforming into people and Pokémon."

"Zorua seems to be a mischievous one..." Serena comments.

"Because it is a Dark Type." Ash says, "Now let's go, Oldale Town is just right up ahead."

Serena nods as Ash grabs her hand as they walk through the route with Pikachu following them.

Here is the first chapter of the story, and I decide to go with the Pokemon Alpha Sapphire route, where Team Aqua will be the main villain while Team Magma isn't. And both Ash and Serena are going to capture one Pokemon for each type. Ash is going to rechallenge the gyms, and Serena will be participating in the Contests. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be arriving at Petalburg City.
