Hello, Coolheadluke here.

Well, it certainly has been a long time, hasn't it? By my count, about four years since I last logged in! College was/is a massive undertaking that demanded all of my attention, and I really couldn't spare the time to finish Rebellion in a proper manner. I know I never updated the promise of sending out a read-only google doc with the work, and I apologize. However, now that I am in a better place time-wise (that is, admittedly, partially a result of the ongoing coronavirus), I can now focus on finishing Rebellion once and for all. So to my new readers, welcome! To my old fans, welcome back. I will be posting one chapter a day of Rebellion until I have reached the end of the originally completed chapters, then (I hope) one per 1-2 weeks until the story is complete.

A few disclaimers before we begin:

This story was written back when I had only seen the first and bits of the second season, so some characters will be radically different than those in the animated work by Monty Oum (rest in peace). This includes personalities, appearances, the age of Weiss' sister (I mistakenly thought Winter was younger), and names of then-unintroduced family members, such as Weiss' father.

Much of the story (as I recall, some twenty-odd chapters) is already written. So while I promise that I love to read your feedback in the reviews section and the occasional PM, I don't intend to change much of these chapters aside from grammar and spelling. So I'm sorry I can't accommodate your content suggestions. However, if you have another idea, you can submit a prompt for my other work "Coolheadluke does RWBY Oneshots" via PM. I can't guarantee I'll do it, but I will certainly reply!
