Hello there dear readers!
So I decided to open up a new fic for the Crescent Sequel, yes, this is it! Moonlight (Original, I know, but we're keeping the theme)
In honor of the release of Midnight Sun, (which I hope you didn't download or something like that and donated that money to the Quileute Tribe), here's the prologue of Moonlight, as you know by now, updates will be sporadic, could be tomorrow, could be in one month, could be in a year (hopefully not, but I know me), but know that I love reading all your reviews and reading your thoughts on the story.
Special thanks to LenaMiaH and AngelicSailor for following this (and other stories) since the beginning and always leaving lovely reviews, I love you girls so much!
And also to my partner in crime Sunstar Writer who is the one who listen to most if not all my story ramblings and all of my crisis.
Much love to all,
Alex

Prologue.
Young, Wild & Free.
Denali, the highest mountain peak in North America, the second ever coven of vegetarian vampires (or first if you're being technical). The trip had been made under the excuse of checking the local Alaskan College in Anchorage, since I was thinking about studying biology and well they had a really good syllabus there in Alaska.
Charlie had been wary at first, but Carlisle and Esme had promised to take care of me and to show me around and to treat me like one of 'their' kids, I had begged Charlie for the opportunity of an all-inclusive summer vacay courtesy of the Cullen Family, so he ended up caving in. Rene had been another story since she had wanted me to go to Florida and Florida was not a place that I wanted to visit nor that particularly called to me anyways, I had lived in Florida for a long time in my past life so yeah, I could live without visiting Florida.
Now back to Denali. I had been completely amazed by the coven, Tanya, Kate and Irina looked like I had imagined Valkyries to look like and Carmen had the same motherly mood that Esme exuded. Kate was a total firecracker that upon learning that vampires could get drunk went to hunt and returned home carrying a deer so that she could try it for herself, while Tanya was a reserved yet gentle soul that told me about her days as a 'succubus' and how she didn't enjoy sex anymore. Irina was standoffish but with enough needling she began welcoming me into her house and even thanked me for sparing Laurent as she had found the vampire to be her mate. My second ever meeting with Laurent was pretty awkward to say the least, he was wary of me and I felt very proud of myself, no use in hiding under false pretenses.
Esme had opted out of the trip, since she had to pick up some stuff for her summer project in Seattle and needed a couple of days to do so, so in the end, Alice, Jasper, Edward and Carlisle had accompanied me to Alaska; Emmett and Rosalie preferring to go to Brazil instead. I couldn't blame them, though, Brazil sounded awesome. Jasper, Alice and Edward visited the University of Alaska Anchorage campus with me and we asked about their programs and everything that we needed to enroll, oh yes, the Cullens were going to College.
So in retrospective the trip to Alaska had been fantastic, I was sure to try and get my biology degree, or quit halfway to become a vampire or just exist in the world as a human who knew about the existence of vampires, I was young and the world was full of opportunities, or so they said.

"So is there a Transylvanian twist or not?" I asked Eleazar, keeping my face as straight as I could keep it, we were both sitting in the living room of the Denali home, Edward and Carmen playing chess close by.
Eleazar stared at me as if I had grown another head, "are you truly asking me this?"
I shrugged, "I mean, I could ask you about the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, but it wouldn't be as fun, unless you guys danced back then."
"You are so… odd, Miss Swan," he told me with a small smile.
"Why, thank you, Don Vampiro, usted no se queda atras," I told him with a grin.
Eleazar surprised everyone present by laughing and my grin grew impossibly wider.
"Ay! lo que es ser joven y sin preocupaciones," he said with a gentle smile.
"Ay! lo que es ser inmortal y hermoso," I said mockingly, "does pretty actually hurt, or is it another lie made by corporate America?"
"I wouldn't know, Miss Swan, this," he said pointing at himself, "is effortless."
I almost squealed in delight, so vampires did have a sense of humor, "you sir, are my new favorite vampire, sorry Teddy, but Don Eleazar is just so much fun!"
"He's married," Edward told me, amusement clear in his eyes.
"Oh, I know, he's married to sweet Mrs. Carmen, I'd die for them," I said, clutching my chest dramatically.
"So you're staying then?" asked Tanya as she walked into the living room.
"Oh, I'd love to, but my dad and the Cullens would miss me too much, not to mention the wolf pack," I said with a smirk.
"How do you know that we would miss you?" Edward asked.
I huffed and pretended to be offended, "because I adopted you, you're all mine, my vampires, I just need to get Carlisle and Esme to sign the adoption papers."
"Who am I adopting now?" asked Carlisle as he joined us, a jovial smile on his face.
"Not you, pretty boy doctor, me, I'm adopting you all, legally, in a couple of years anyways, Imma be that hot looking mom with the bunch of extremely good looking kids," I said with a smirk.
Translations:
1. "Why, thank you, Mr. Vampire, you're second to none," I told him with a grin.
2. "Oh! to be young and carefree," he said with a gentle smile.
3. "Oh! to be immortal and handsome,"
