It's been a long day and it wasn't even noon yet. Then again I had continuously been conscious for over 50 hours, I should have slept in that locker. Even still Pietro would be ever so disappointed that his creation was down three limbs and only human for an hour. But with Arc and Cinder taken to the cells something was brought to Ironwood's attention by the thief, "I don't exactly trust that she'll work with us General."

"She'll either work with us or force us to deal with the other assets." Ironwood didn't have an ounce of heart left. Cinder really did a number on him… Arc would be able to heal whatever they did to her, I hope... No, I couldn't let myself get distracted by her, I need to finish this monstrosity first. But then again-

"I doubt I'll be able to make any more progress, Penny's lost too-"

"She's strong, and it doesn't matter if she survives." That lack of heart was clouding his judgement. His bomb wouldn't make it if the carrier was dead, and at the rate she's losing blood that would be very soon. I shook my head as I turned around to face him, he looked like he wasn't far off from a steel monster himself.

"She may be, but if I do anything more she'll expire before she even gets off this table." Ironwood shook his head as he looked to the new maiden. With a sigh he ordered swiftly in a manner eerily similar to Salem.

"Take him to his cell. Harriet get ready, you'll leave after she wakes." Ironwood didn't realize Penny would likely wake in intense pain and go ballistic. Literally in this case with all the weapons I'd built into her body. I was a little disappointed I wouldn't get to remain for the show though. Yet the new maiden didn't even respond as she grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out of the lab. I only noticed when Ironwood gave her the side eye right before we were out of the room that he never specified she had to take me.

We walked in silence as she held my arm. Her grip was firm and I was certain she planned to kill me on the way, but that train of thought was stopped when she spoke, "She had a lot of fond memories about you."

This girl wasn't that good at getting a rise out of me, she wasn't Cinder. I rolled my eyes as I remained silent, whatever she was planning I was going to ignore. She wouldn't get me to even flinch, "For how little it's worth; she thinks of you like a father. Which is hilarious if you think about it. You clearly aren't capable of compassion much less-"

"Would you just shut up? It's bad enough Ironwood uses me like his personal genius. I really don't need an ignorant moron attempting to insult my daughter on top of it." That may have been an outburst, but hopefully now she would shut up and I'd be dragged to my cell without any more fuss. I could feel a grin crossing her face but she remained silent for the rest of the journey.

I was tired. The day was long and had been more painful than any I had ever been through. Granted there was untold emotional trauma going on practically every second so that must have made the day feel longer. Or it was because I had been awake for three days at this point. Well… there was that two minute unconsciousness that I had last night. But now I was more worried about what was happening to Penny. And when Jaune returned with Cinder I couldn't help but feel the anxiety in the room rising. It only got worse when he told us what had happened.

Now though, we were just sitting in large cells waiting for something to happen. Probably Ironwood deciding we weren't worth the hassle of keeping alive followed by our brief executions. I just can't believe we were beaten so easily after everything, or that he had expected our plan… Then again, he knew we would think outside the box so he may have known we'd sneak our way into the vault before we even did. Ironwood even managed to catch Jaune's team off balance taking them down before he knew Penny was with us. At least he was kind enough to let us stew together…

All of us had been paired off into cells, Yang and Blake, Qrow and Robyn, Ren and Nora, Jaune and Cinder, Oscar and Emerald, Jacques had his own cell though, Winter and Marrow having betrayed Ironwood and finally Weiss and I were sharing a cell trying to stay awake. The only one missing was a pink little lunatic, but then again she probably fled when Cinder was knocked out, which makes this ever so slightly easier as Ironwood hasn't realized she's the maiden. But the silence was deafening while all we could hear was Jaune and his attempts to keep his aura up while trying to heal Cinder. From what he told us, she was no longer the fall maiden. I had mixed feelings about that, she had finally apologized and I was about ready to forgive her when this happened but now, the plan was shot and we had run out of luck.

"Welcome back to your cell, will you be paying with cash or card? Oh wait, hotel prison cell is full, it doesn't look like there's enough room for you to stay. We'll have to evict another occupant," Harriet entered the room with Watts. This new cheery demeanor was completely unlike how she typically acted, it was far too sarcastic. But as she marched Watts in I couldn't help but feel something was off about her, in spite of her cheery attitude something else was afoot. She just marched over to the first cell where Jacques was tossing Watts in like a discarded doll. He rolled a little before stopping to look up into her eyes.

"Have fun being a puppet," Watts called out as she shook her head looking down at him.

"I will, now you have fun making friends." Watts looked entirely too angry to come up with a retort. Harriet just grinned ignoring the rest of us as she exited. Watts stood up dusting himself off before he scanned the room, he only stopped when he found Cinder in the cell next to him.

"How is she?"

"Alive…" Jaune paused as he looked over Watts, "But she lost a lot of her aura with that chunk of her soul. I don't know if she'll-"

"She should have died from the drain. The question isn't if she'll survive, it's how did she?" Oscar answered from the next cell over. He was taking cues from Ozpin at this point, not telling us everything we needed to know. Or he just didn't know and was asking the question.

"Chances are Ironwood's machine wasn't designed for two people consciously fighting over their souls. Hell, Pietro's machine only ever worked when the host was willing." The way Watts said that hurt, but it drew my attention to something else.

"And Penny? How is she?" Watts forced Jacques off the bench before he continued.

"Aside from the legs and arm I replaced, I only got to one of her eyes and ears before I had to stop. She'll need some time to adjust, but I don't really think she'll get that when Ironwood straps a bomb to her back and sends her on a suicide mission against Salem." He was unconcerned as he pointed at Jaune, "At this point you don't have enough aura to heal her, raise her head and keep her airway clear. If I know her she'll begin coughing up her dinner whenever she wakes."

Watts was both concerned about Cinder while simultaneously pretending he wasn't at all. He reminded me of Blake in that sense... Which was an odd statement. Though after Jaune moved Cinder none of us felt like talking, mostly just a bunch of defeated sighs as we were held captive. It felt like hours but honestly I don't think time passed at all, with no clocks none of us could even prove time was moving. We were all trying to come up with something, anything, an escape plan or even a plan for what happens when we remain trapped. But we just kept falling flat in the plan department, and heads kept finding our hands.

"Ugh, my head. Could have told me the procedure would hurt- huh- Arc why are you-" Cinder spoke rather dully while clearly in pain but as she opened her eyes the way she shot off of Jaune's lap told another story, "Why the hell are you touching me!?"

"Calm down-" Jaune quickly tried to produce but with the way Cinder was acting, I had a spare thought. What if Cinder had reverted back to who she was before she had the full Maiden power. Her lack of memories would have sent her back to Beacon, she may not remember any of us… or Pyrrha. But when she punched Jaune in the gut, mine said something was off.

"Don't tell me to calm down! You defy orders and betray us but now all of a sudden you want to pretend like we're allies! Like hell that's gonna happen!" Huh, what was going on in her head? Better question was why did she punch Jaune, I had never seen Cinder or Pyrrha for that matter throw a direct punch. More flowery counters or roundabout jabs, this looked like something Yang would throw...

"Calm down, you're… safe for the moment," I called out as Cinder stood there more confused than ever, but when she finally realized she was in a cell she couldn't help but react. Or shout.

"What the hell! WHY FUCK AM I HERE!?" Well that's not exactly classic Cinder but it was definitely something she would say. Then again she had been holding her swears back since Pyrrha appeared… Did that mean Pyrrha went with the power and took all her memories with it? Was she back to being the terrible person we all hated?

"You managed to drop the ball… again." And Watts was back to pretending like he didn't care. Cinder scowled at him as if she was going to jump through the hard light barrier and beat him to death. But when Jaune sat up he said something that drew our attention back to him.

"Oh gods your eyes!" No one got to inquire more when "Harriet" returned. Well the door opened and someone lazily pushed a lunch cart in… but with the cadence and pace I knew it wasn't her. Far too cheerful and floaty, but the silence was the dead giveaway. 'Harriet' meandered her way around the cells until she found Cinder's.

"WHAT THE HELL!" "Harriet" just pretended to wipe spit off her face as Cinder stood eyes to hair from inside the cell. The fury in Cinder's eyes reminded me of any time I met her before Pyrrha was in there. Then again with "Harriet's" uncharacteristic calm I knew this would end poorly. Then she blinked and her eyes were two separate colors. Pink and Brown.

"Of course she's here." I sighed as she shot me a quick glance. Cinder was taken aback as Neo paced around the other cells and began opening them. Which begged the question of why? But as the cell doors were opening she dragged the cart along with her and began handing out plates. Was she actually trying to feed us? Or… could this be some game for her? What kind of game was she playing if it was? My thoughts were clouded when she got to my cell, she shook her head and struggled to pick up a plate before she walked in. I don't know how to respond but after handing Weiss a plate she used her newly free hand to punch me in the gut.

Directly and firmly but not altogether strong I didn't crumble to the ground more just coughed a little. She clearly wasn't strong but I didn't even have my aura up, still the pain nearly immediately began fading. She shook her head looking down on me before tossing my plate on the ground. With the thud of metal I realized it wasn't dinner, the plates glimmered before suddenly our weapons appeared, but after we picked them up they quickly shimmered again making it look like our weapons were replaced with handcuffs. She was trying to make it look like we were still being held captive.

But why was she here? I stood up as I found my way following her out of the cell before she went over to Jaune's. She had left them for last probably to torment Cinder, but as she disabled the field something went off in my head. Why was Cinder so surprised about any of this? She was typically the control freak who pretended to not panic- Oh no. The shield opened and I found out why Jaune was so surprised, Cinder's eyes were a bright pink. Like a certain Ace Op… I tried to react fast enough but she reacted faster, "Stop!"

"NEVER!" Cinder's body in a blur of electricity and hate disappeared. And we were all left realizing several things.

"I don't think that was Cinder…" Oscar commented as he walked around to us.

"No shit Ozpin," Watts responded quickly as he leaned into the hall trying to get a glimpse of her in the distance.

"Fuck off Watts!" Oscar retorted without a second thought.

Things were going great. In the last hour I had managed to steal the body of the world's shortest temper and somehow kept up the act making them believe I was her. Now the problem became what did I do with this chance. Do I help Penny or do I kill everyone and hope she doesn't get caught in the blast? I had sent Neo a plan, to free everyone but I honestly don't know if she'll go through with it.

At least Ironwood's plan was falling apart as fast as Atlas was. It was really struggling to stay in the air eating up all those tons of dust. But leading us into the courtyard where he planned on reactivating the standing newly half mechanical Penny I couldn't help but feel like I should drop the pretense and put a stop to it. Then again all his plans gave me that feeling. It wasn't until they began preparations to jab Penny with enough adrenaline to jump start a horse that the order was given.

Ironwood stood in front of our line as he gave the least emotional speech about the most suicidal mission I've ever heard, "Ace Ops, your mission is to cover the Winter Maiden as she delivers the payload. Then after she drags Salem off Atlas you are to detonate the bomb destroying both of them in the process. Take note that Salem will not die and will return from where she is destroyed, it is up to you to get her off of Atlas-"

"YOU!" Oh come on. I leaned out of line as I found a large amount of dread in my heart, something I had hoped not to see for an hour at least. My own face came running out of Atlas as she charged me. I didn't flinch as I remained perfectly still. Even if the electricity was a giveaway I still had her face so I could use that as cover more than not. The others made direct attempts to stop her and when she saw them move she stopped and tripped over my heels. She didn't know how to run in them did she?

"I thought we had finally seen the last of you!" The big dumb one declared.

"Elm, wait, that's not me, I'm me not her!" She said that with such fluidity that I was certain I would get out of this scott free… or with a new scar on my precious face. Though Cinder rushing out claiming she's Harriet was definitely not going to work the way she thinks. The tall bald guy raised an eyebrow as he looked her over, but he quickly moved to me after. Sizing all four feet of my current body up… Please tell me he didn't realize something was wrong.

"I am at the end of my patience," Ironwood raised a gun to my former chest. WAIT I'M GONNA WANT MY BODY BACK EVENTUALLY! THINK! My body got ready to dodge when she made a desperate declaration.

"WAIT! I'm really Harriet, she's not me!" This forced Elm to extend herself, forming a wall between my former body and I to ask a question.

"You think we'd believe something so preposterous! I don't know how you got out of your cell but I'm gonna enjoy crushing you!" WAIT STOP HER! THAT'S MY BODY!

"I CAN PROVE IT! UM… MY clearance code is 142624!" That was pointless. I doubt any of them knew her code off the top of their heads. Hell I bet they don't even remember their own half the time. But tall and bald ran it through his scroll, clearing it. Then he spoke calmly.

"How could you know that? It's not possible…"

"You must have stolen some of my memories on your way out!" I prompted as I remained perfectly calm. IT was a great cover, and it made this even easier. I could just claim she was a thief-

"Oh really! Then what's your name? I'm sure even if I stole some on the way out you'd still remember your own name!" My body declared as she glared at me from across the courtyard. What kind of question was that? Of course I knew my name was Cinder-Pyrrha- Oh no. Her name was definitely something stupid-

"Uh, Hare obviously." I spun my hand next to my head to accentuate that she was nuts for even asking such a question. But the other two just distanced themselves from me as they began to question me as well. Oh great my answer wasn't good enough, that was stupid, it was her name after all it's not like-

"What's my last name?" She began circling me like the shark she was. Opportunistic and evil as Ironwood shook his head at the nonsense of his work. My eyes darted between everyone not finding any hints. I knew I was made but I could at least humiliate her before I sink back into my own body. So with a sigh I began popping buttons on the vest.

"How would I know? You're a third string background character at best, hell the only thing I remember about you is how short you are." And with that the vest was unbuttoned and on fire as it descended to the ground, I got a blush from Elm as she witnessed her teammate's bust as I unzipped the undershirt. I popped her back as I tried to give them a view of every angle, "That tool was so cumbersome, I don't understand why you-"

*BANG*

Ironwood didn't even wait to listen to my pontificating as he shot me. Well at me, I had blocked every bullet since I got the Maiden power… or half of it at least. It didn't matter as I turned to him and blinked. My eyes replaced this bodies, amber and green, before I turned to him to make my deception known. He hardly paused, firing several more shots, "Or we could just start now!"

"It was wrong of me to let you live." Ironwood answered as he slotted his gun into a bigger gun. What was it with him and guns!? It should at least also be a sword! I couldn't panic. I may be smaller, and in a body that had a different muscle system than I was used to, and a completely different center of balance... but I was also a maiden and-PENNY! I floated over to her dodging a green beam before it ceased in front of her. Ironwood didn't want to scrap his tin soldier just yet but his pause gave me enough time to push the adrenaline needle into Penny's heart. She would have the rush of her life when she woke up.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"Why am I not surprised?" I muttered as the Ace Ops began circling us. Okay, how do I treat someone that has lost several limbs and is in incredible pain? I slapped Penny ever so hard to draw her attention, and with a shake of her head she asked the most heartbreaking question ever.

"Is this pain?" Of course she had never felt it before, but as she rubbed her cheek I had to console her.

"Yes, it is. And I doubt it will be last you ever feel but-"

"Oh, I do hope it is. Why are you helping me Ms. Bree?" OH so that was her last name.

"I'm not Harriet! I'm Cin-Py- I'll get back to you on that one!" I wasn't going to try for a name right now. I was busy trying to come up with a plan to get my body back while simultaneously breaking one of Harriet's legs. But as the Ace Ops and Ironwood lined up to get ready for a fight I felt my stomach drop. I didn't want to damage my body and I don't think I can take all of them without getting a little extreme. Penny for her part began inspecting her body, finding the new mechanical limbs. In her real eye I could see tears forming, she had just gotten her humanity and it was already half gone. But then she wiped the tear out of her eye as she got into her combat stance… though I don't know how effective she would be without her weapons. I had to console her, "Penny it's okay. You're alive, that's all that matters."

"It must be a mistake…" she placed her flesh hand on her new metal one, "They wouldn't be foolish enough to make me combat ready!" Her robotic eye lit up as several of her blades descended from what I thought was a cape on her shoulder. What the hell Watts? She stood at my side as the Ace Ops had shocked looks on their faces but Ironwood remained firm.

"Penny… you can either work with us or your friends will suffer."

"What kind of super villain shit is this?! Even I wouldn't have held people hostage when I was evil!" That slipped out, but it was quickly followed by my body shouting at me.

"Don't use my mouth to speak such shit you body thief!" I rolled her eyes as I turned to her.

"I didn't want your body, you're the idiot that tried to steal from me. Hell this entire situation is entirely your fault," I raised an eyebrow, I was stalling and as long as I talked Ironwood would be calling troops to try and stop me. That was a catch 22 if there ever was one, but I had faith… or more likely I didn't want to do this alone. Then again, "But let's be honest, at least I'm not trying to abandon the people that need me right now or holding hostages to gaslight a 4 year old into going on a suicide mission. That alone has to make me the least morally ambiguous person here!"

I was really scraping the bottom of the barrel as they shook off the attempt at persuasion. Who am I kidding? I wasn't Ruby, I couldn't persuade people without using threats… or kindness and just being present. Well I couldn't persuade them at the moment… I was out of time and this fight was inevitable. At least I wasn't alone with Penny by my side… but four against a maiden and a half seemed like a fair fight. Penny reassured me when she gave a thumbs up, "We're not going to let you hurt anyone else!"

I sighed. That was good enough for me, I jabbed my hands into the steel ground and pulled out two large and currently burning blades. They may not be Milo or Midnight but they would do, I hoped. I just didn't think I'd be able to fight them… something about camaraderie and friendship. Harriet's body was probably interfering with my mind, but that just meant I had to swap back into my old body quickly… How am I supposed to get it back? I just felt contempt when I looked at my old body- Which was hers…

"I GOT MYSELF!" I could at least match my own body… hopefully. I didn't hesitate to ignore enemy fire as I launched myself at my old body. If I could grapple her then I could try stealing my body back… Though I hope she doesn't try to stay.

But when she dodged, slipping just out of reach, I knew I would need to be more crafty. Hare just grinned as she raised her arms just in front of my face, which looked foreign coming from my body, before delivering several quick and dangerous jabs to my gut… or her own… This was getting annoying. I tried to grasp at her arms but they disappeared as quickly as they struck, and my temper was back! GREAT! STAY FOCUSED! I created a barrier of flame between us before I lunged through it right at her. But she was ready as she delivered a swift kick right up into my jaw, "That all you got?"

"Yah, your body is so weak it's hard to use!" Hare rolled my eyes ready to spend more time arguing but I wasn't, I wanted my body back and that's it. She wouldn't stop moving! I just needed her to stand still… How flammable are my boots? Oh that could work. I pushed her away as I readied my plan, or more specifically I found the closest patch of exposed metal. Which just so happened to be her former weapon. Hare remained hot on my tail as she kept just within range, but she didn't even flinch as she passed over her weapon's remains. Which with a quick little heat turned into a very painful snare tripping my former body, "WHAT THE HELL!"

I didn't have time to think as she began rolling- I just launched my body at hers. When we met it felt like we were back in my soul. Dark void with plenty of doors… This time I wasn't going to take the easy way out!

"WHAT THE HELL! WAS THIS YOUR PLAN! BRING US BACK HERE TO STEAL MORE OF ME!" I was suddenly looking at Hare instead of myself, and with a quick glance at my hands I found them to be two slightly different colors of pale. I was myself again! Now though I just needed to force her out. That should be easy… I just need to beat her off… out… beat her out.

"AHHHHHHHH! I'LL TAKE THE POWER THIS TIME!"

"Not a chance!" I prepared for a war of attrition in my soul, I wasn't going to lose this time. Hare charged straight forward and deliberately clearly not thinking ahead as if she were me. Though this time I would need to be delicate and plan this out. I raised my hand as I summoned Milo, it materialized like Midnight used to. As Hare threw a jab right for my face I ducked under it and flipped Milo over my hand so it was facing her.

In less than a second this fight was over as I drove Milo right through her guts. I didn't look up, I didn't want to see her face contort. I just wanted this to end.

Though sadly as if to torment me I was suddenly on top of her staring down at her. With my red hair gently falling down just dangling into her face. My arms were firmly holding hers to the ground keeping them pinned. Though as we both gasped for air a haze of confusion stood between us. Had this happened while we dueled? Why did we both look so tired?

*CLICK*

Oh great. And here's Ironwood. I looked up through the barrel of the gun pointed at me… the surprisingly long, red, rifle barrel… "Let her go."

"Wait, I'm me again!"

"We're not gonna fall for that." Jaune commented as I heard from behind me. Oh, I hadn't seen him since… WAIT!

"Jaune!" I needed to tell him I was sorry! What was I sorry for again?

"Killing me?"

"OH YEAH. THAT!" We had split once again… probably because we were back in my body. But I still needed to convince them as a grin crossed Hare's lips.

"Hurry up and get her off me!" That hardly sounds like something I'd say. But as the firm grasp of someone half my size seized my arm pulling us apart I had to say something.

"Nora! Stop! I'm myself again!"

"Oh really? I'm not dumb enough to fall-" Hare shot up delivering her head straight into my gut, knocking the wind out of my lungs. But with me gasping for air and Nora tumbling back Hare managed to free herself and rejoin her team.

"Ohhh, you really weren't trying to trick us…" Nora muttered as she tried to keep me stable. I wanted to choke out an insult but I felt my time was better used gasping for air. Though when I finished I was greeted with the sight of both sides lining up ready to fight. Even if it looked very one sided.

"I like these odds."

"I don't. It is pointless to fight them. We gain nothing and lose plenty as Atlas inches it's way towards destruction."

"Then what do you suggest? I hardly think we can convince him, he's hated us since the start, and the Ace Ops never consider anything we say." That was true, I would have to leave it to Ruby but she looked as ready for a fight as Ironwood. I was tired of fighting…

What to do? Team RWBY, JNRO, Qrow, Winter, Penny, the dog Faunus of the Ace Ops and some blonde lady were here staring down what was left of the Ace Ops and Ironwood. Twelve against four weren't good odds, even if one was the headmaster and the others were the best of what's available. Though between us I'm pretty sure we were all exhausted enough to be considered near dead. I could try-

"General!"

"What?!" Winter and Ironwood answered in unison, and both gave a death glare to the newly arrived soldier. He panicked under their scrutiny before they both turned back glaring at each other.

"There's a ship-"

"And now we have to deal with another one of Salem's pawns! You must love that another one of your accomplices is coming!" He directed that at me… Aside from Mercury and Tryian who left for Vacuo, there was no one else that could get here in time to give useful aid.

"That's not one of hers..." We all turned to see a grey blob coming into view. But after a few seconds it became more defined. A bullhead… Those were only found in Vale. Who would be crazy enough to fly a single bullhead hundreds of thousands of miles to a city that was falling out of the sky? Or was it spite? Oh no.

But as quickly as it came into view it came right to us. Landing on the helipad right next to the courtyard. It sat there for an equal amount of time, cooling and remaining perfectly still like a wolf resting after a long journey. Even still neither side spoke as we stared at the newcomer, all of us expected it to explode at any moment. There was no way to tell how tense it would have gotten but with the hiss of hydraulics the bay door opened. No one exited as the doors slowly moved out of the way, even then we could all barely make out a silhouette.

*CLICK*

"Huh?" She wouldn't...

*CLICK*

"No…" Ironwood moaned.

*CLICK*

"Hide me." Oscar murmured ducking behind Ruby.

*CLICK*

"I hope she's not mad…" Qrow choked out as she finally came into view. But as we saw her, so too did she see us. The glare on her face was deep, Salem couldn't even create this much intimidation as the high heels began to click against the pavement of the promenade. A skirt that looked gave many the wrong impression revealing long legs accentuated by heels that always seemed louder than possible, though currently her chest was covered by a single sharp peacoat in a dark purple bordering on black with her cape gently billowing over her shoulders, there was also something lazily hanging off her back on a sling. Then coming to her head where you would find blonde hair with a single lock rolled into a tight curl over a simple yet sophisticated pair of glasses actuating what had to be a beautiful face, yet all we saw was unyielding rage. The lines on her face created a look that had surpassed annoyance, or disgust and had gone fully into murderous rampage. When we all began to make eye contact the clicking of her heels faded away as we all prayed and counted the moments before we were killed.

When she arrived she stood in between the two lines without so much as saying anything. She stood there for what felt like an eternity before Ironwood was the one brave enough to gather his words together, "Glyn-"

He didn't even so much as get to finish her name when with the flick of her whip he was thrown from the courtyard through one of the window's of the academy. She returned the riding crop to a resting position on her lap, making no further moves. That was when the other blonde woman spoke up, "Isn't she the one that lost the election?"

"Don't move a muscle!"

"Look I don't know who you are but-" She didn't get to finish either when Glynda grasped the end of her whip and bent it like a wet noodle. She just levitated a little before gently floating away, "Hey! Wait a minute! You can't just- AHHHHHHHHH!"

Glynda returned the Disciplinarian to rest when she dropped the other blonde woman off the side of Atlas. Winter remained perfectly still and quiet, but Qrow was clearly the next one when Glynda actively turned her head to face him. Their eyes met and I could only see terror forming in his. She moved her wrist a little and Qrow raised his hands to stop her, "Wait! WAIT! Before you throw me… I... got sober."

"I'm very proud of you Qrow."

"Thank y-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Qrow didn't get to finish either when he disappeared at the speed of sound flying straight through the clouds. With that finished she turned to Winter, who held her composure like a sweating bull, Glynda gave a cursory glance over her before she shook her head and began to inspect each of us individually. We all lined up for her as if she would kill us if we displeased her in any way. First came dog boy, she barely even looked at him, then came Penny who she paused at for a second before shaking her head and continuing. Then when she got to Yang and Blake who adamantly refused to stop holding hands as they averted their gazes from her, she ignored it as she came to Weiss who was looking down. Glynda placed her whip under Weiss's chin lifting it before moving on to Ren. She didn't even look at him as she passed, choosing to focus on Nora, who had been holding her breath the entire time and was purple in the face. With a slight crack of the whip to her stomach Nora began gasping for air. Then she came to Jaune, who looked like she was about to tear him a third one, Glynda shook her head as she didn't even look directly at him.

"Switch with me!"

"DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!"

When Glynda looked at me I knew something was about to go wrong, Pyrrha just raised our arm and said, "Hello again."

Glynda looked us up and down before she let out a sigh, pinched her nose and moved on. She finally stopped at Ruby as if the little girl was the only one making- oh yeah, she was. Though Ruby held up the best under the glare of pure rage, she was still shaking like a wet dog. If it kept up she would burst into flames, "I could set her on fire if that helps."

"No… not yet. But be ready just in case."

Glynda remained firm when she spoke, clearly the one in charge of this conversation and definitely the one who could kill all of us without a thought, "Where is he?"

"Uhhh… who do you mean? Because Ironwood and Qrow are-"

"Don't." Glynda began rubbing her temple like it would relieve anything as she glared at the little girl, "Just don't play games with me right now. I am very close to losing it, but you. You have the chance to end this peacefully with all of you still alive."

"You wouldn't… right?" Ruby asked as she turned to the rest of us as we made a litany of motions telling her not to risk it. Glynda let the lines disappear from her face as she placed a hand on Ruby's shoulder.

"Ruby," Glynda began smiling. OH GODS! This is so much worse! She continued, "I remember when I told Ozpin his proposal to let a 15 year old into Beacon was a bad idea. I also remember eating those words when you began to excel. But most importantly I remember promising him that if he ever died and left you in charge of saving the world I was going to dig up his corpse, chop it up, cook it into a stew and feed it his next incarnation. So," She pulled the sling off her back to reveal a thermos, with a twist and pour there was a hot cup of stew, "You wouldn't want to be the one to suffer that punishment now would you?"

Ruby stared at the cup for a second before she glanced at us. Once again we were all telling her not to do it, Oscar even looked like he was willing to suffer through the punishment when Ruby didn't even hesitate. She grabbed the cup right out of Goodwitch's hand and downed it in an instant, "We can't afford to be divided! We need to work together and save everyone!"

Glynda glanced at the cup before going back to Ruby, their eyes locked for a second before Glynda raised a single solitary eyebrow, "Go throw up."

"HGGGGGGHKK" Ruby didn't even make it a foot before she was head over heels voiding the contents of her stomach. Glynda poured a second cup and began to delicately sip it as if there wasn't the mummified- oh. That was clever.

"What was?"

"That's her lunch… not Ozpin."

"Then why would she-"

"Because the fastest way to break anyone is to get them to void the contents of their stomach. Also there are only three men here, chances are the one that's out of place cowering is Ozpin." And with that Glynda locked onto Oscar.

"You are pathetic."

"Yes I am."

"You needed a child to lead you this far!"

"Yes I did."

"You manipulative little-"

"Yes I am, can you help us save people or not?"

"Of course I can, but you must know my revenge will not be simple." Glynda inched ever closer to him, as if she was going to pick him up and smother him to death. She continued as she got within inches of his face, "It will be slow, painful, deliberate, and you will feel every single second of it."

"Is she going to torture him or are the going to have weird kinky sex?" OH NO. All eyes locked onto me as her gaze returned to untameable rage.

"I will get to you later Miss Fall, but don't worry. It will be even more excruciating than his will be." Her eyes said murder while her smile also said murder but I'm happy about it. Quick think!

"Uh… You can't do too much, I'm carrying Jaune's baby!"

"WHAT!" Several eyes flew out of their skulls as I said that, and while it may not be true it was still a possibility.

But with a snap she turned to him as well, "Then he will suffer alongside you."

"Ah man…" I moaned as Jaune had the most mixed look on his face. Oh right, slight hope for and against. That will be an awkward conversation later...

Sorry this one took me so long, I kept getting distracted writing a bunch of short stories. Then I suddenly had significantly less time to write in the middle of the day. Followed by getting my hands on Mass Effect Legendary Edition which monopolized the rest of my time... So yeah. Chapters will be more irregular from now on. Oh well.
