With the pillow close to his face, Quickman started to feel his eye lids getting heavier. The day had been rough and all he wanted to do know was to sleep. Unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen.

"…Quickman," he heard a voice call out to him. Quickman sat up in his bed, seeing towards his friend Crashman standing by the end of the bed. "Can I sleep with you tonight?"

Quickman rubbed his eyes. "Why…?" Quickman asked before yawning. "What is it?" It was unusual for Crashman to come over during nights. It had happened before, but last time it happened it was because a certain ninja Robot Master had sneaked into Crashman's room and tried to attack him in the sleep. "Hm? Crashman, are those…?"

Crashman wasn't caring his usual energetic happy face, to Quickman's surprise, he saw what he suspected being tears. "I had a nightmare," Crashman said, sobbing shortly. "I don't want to sleep by myself tonight." Crashman looked on his feet, his purple pajamas was as usual too big, Crashman often found amusement in twiddling with his toes, this time it didn't.

Quickman sighed, removing some of his long blonde hair that wasn't in a braid from his face. Quickman sat on the edge of the bed and patted the part next to him to signalize Crashman could sit down next to him. As the bushy green haired Robot Master sat down to him, Quickman tried to catch his eyes. "What was the nightmare about?" he asked with a calm voice.

Crashman dried a pair on tears on his pajamas. "I don't know how…" he began. Quickman could notice how Crashman got more upset. "But all of a sudden, people starting disappearing. Dr Wily, all the Robot Masters, even you." Crashman brought up his knees to his chest, he held himself tightly. "I- I don't want that to happen…!"

The youngster burst out crying, it surprised Quickman. He had known Crashman from the moment he was activated, but he didn't realize Crashman loved everyone around him that much. Quickman put one of his hands on Crashman's shoulder. The other stopped for a moment and looked up to him. "But I'm here," Quickman said. "I won't leave you, and you know that." Quickman moved the hand from the shoulder to Crashman's head. He messed around with Crashman's hair, making him shriek for a moment. "No one would leave you, no one. You know that."

"Yeah, but in my dream-"

"It was just a dream," Quickman interrupted. "A dream is only true until the moment you wake up. You're awake right? Therefore, the illusion you saw is no longer a reality." Crashman had stopped crying, and Quickman took the chance to dry off some tears. "Feeling better?" Crashman nodded, he was too moved to speak.

"Can I still sleep with you tonight?" Quickman laughed at the question. "Please? Just for tonight?"

"Fine, just for tonight," Quickman answered. "Hop on board." Crashman turned around and jumped in towards the wall and disappeared under the sheets. Quickman sneaked under as well and was about to fall asleep once more when he felt his arm being held tightly. "Crashman?"

"I feel much safer this way," he responded. "Just let me hold you until I fall asleep?" Quickman didn't respond, but Crashman knew Quickman wouldn't mind as long as he was okay. "Thanks brother." Crashman closed his blue eyes and smiled.
