Hokuto and Sun Dragon Clams the Black Cat
A face close-up scene showing Kibo with his eyes close and not a sound came out of his mouth as he is concentrating on his training, which the scene zooms out showing Kibo is meditating on top of the Ballroom building standing on the tip of the pointy tower with just one finger.
"Yo, Kibo!" Sun called out from the ground with Neptune and two others.
Kibi open his eyes and move his head to see Sun and Neptune waving at them as notice two other boys with them, probably their friends in their team or from another team, he jumps from the tower and lands on the ground with no problems whatsoever.
"Hello Sun, Neptune." Kibo greeted.
"I see you're doing some training even though the dance is tomorrow night." Sun noticed looking back at the pointy tower.
"As the Fist of the North Star, I must always be prepared for the danger that may come to us. You should also be prepared, being the Successor of Nanto Ho-oh Ken." Kibo stated.
"Hey, I get where you're coming from, but even strong warriors like us need to relax every once in a while." Sun shrugged.
"Speaking of warriors, we would like to introduce you to two of our teammates." Neptune mentioned.
"Right, meet the rest of team SSSN!" Sun gestured to the two teammates.
"Hey there, I'm Scarlet David. It's nice to meet you and all." Scarlet greeted.
Scarlet has red hair that comes down over his right eye, with a complete undercut. There are several red markings around his left eye. He wears a green, mulberry, navy color feather earring on his left ear and has a red military pelisse-like jacket draped over the left side. He also wears a gray bandanna around his neck. On his right hand, he wears a fingerless glove, and on his right bicep, he has a gray band. He wears a white sleeveless shirt and light gray pants. He also wears a pair of long, brown, laced boots. Around his waist, he wears a brown belt and a slightly slanted gray belt that his weapon holster is attached to.
"And this big guy here is Sage Ayana, he doesn't talk much but he does have a big heart along with those big muscles." Neptune introduced the guy for him.
"Hello." Sage greeted with a wave of his hand.
Sage is a teenage boy with dark skin and gold eyes. His hair is sage green, and he appears to have tattoos of wings on his chest and tattoos of Roman numerals, matching those on his sword, around his neck. He wears a white long coat with asymmetrical sleeves, a green wing design similar to his tattoos and no shirt underneath, displaying his tattooed chest. His jacket also has a golden pauldron on his right shoulder and a golden cuff around his left wrist. He also wears a pair of black pants fastened by a white belt with a yellow buckle.
"Hello, Scarlet. Hello, Sage." Kibo greeted back.
"Have all come to see team RWBY?" Kibo asked as he figured no one would come here unless it's about the preparations for the dance tomorrow night.
"Yeah, we wanted to see how they're doing so far." Neptune nodded.
"Well, last I checked, they're done with most of the other things and just need do some fewer things left." Kibo informed.
"I hope they don't mind if we take a quick peek at the ballroom." Scarlet said.
"I'm sure they'll be okay with it, come on in." Kibo opened the door and lead team SSSN inside.
They look around seeing the Ballroom is decorated with some of the cool stuff around like some beautiful looking roses and tables with fancy covers, the large space in the middle is made for the dancefloor. The boys turn their attention forward seeing Yang and Weiss about to argue and Ruby is just laying her head on the table looking all sad, and Kibo can probably guess why.
"If I don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines!" Weiss threatened Yang.
"Your dance is gonna have fog machines?" Neptune asked getting the girls' attention.
"We were thinking about it." Weiss said smiling as her mood suddenly changed when she saw Neptune come in.
"That's pretty cool!" Neptune smiled.
"Bet that's not the only thing he think it's cool!" Scarlet whispered to Sage who chuckles softly.
"Everything looks great around here." Kibo complimented.
"Thanks, we're really kicking up things up to make this dance the best no one will ever forget!" Yang believed pumping her fist in the air.
"I can see that and can't wait to see how this will all be like in when the night comes." Kibo pulled Yang with one arm around her waist and her breasts pressed against his hard chest.
"Oh, oh, wanting in on the action now?" Yang smirked and kissed him which he enjoys for a few seconds.
"Dude, we're still here." Ruby pointed out, feeling a little gross out from seeing this love seen. But also felt happy for her big sister to have found love.
"You ladies all excited for dress-up?" Sun asked.
"Yeah, right." Ruby rolled her eyes with a small chuckle.
"Laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night though I'm only hoping for one head!" Yang bragged as Kibo smiles and hugged her.
"What are you four wearing?" Weiss asked team SSSN.
"Well, we're still trying to get Sun to wear the suit we got for him though still refused to wear a tie." Scarlet winced a little.
"Hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly a shirt-and-tie kind of place." Sun explained and showing off his strong abs.
"Yeah, we noticed." Yang said.
"I never wore a suit before, but I'm sure it wouldn't be that bad for just a special occasion." Kibo pointed out.
"I guess, but that doesn't mean I'm going to like it." Sun said and looked around again trying to find a certain cat-Faunus.
"Sorry Sun, but Blake isn't here." Kibo informed.
"So, that mean she is still with the… you know?" Sun asked the obvious question.
"Obviously." Weiss rolled her eyes.
"I still can't think of a way to change her mind." Ruby worried that Blake is really gonna hurt herself with this never-ending search.
"Guys. Trust me; Blake will be at the dance tomorrow." Yang promised as she walked out to the door.
"Mind if I come along, just to make sure Blake tries to get away." Kibo asked as he walks after his second girlfriend.
"Well, I actually had this other plan to get Blake's attention that involves a laser pointer, but I think you can help me better." Yang nodded.
(Beacon Library)
Blake is sitting with her tiring eyes staring at the hologram computer screen trying to find any information about the White Fang and their recent movements, but still found nothing and this was getting on her nerves.
"I figured I find you here, Blake." Kibo said walking up to her.
"What do you want, Kibo?" Blake asked, not taking her eyes off the screen.
"Here in hoping you would take a break from you search." Kibo answered.
"Did my team send you to talk me out of stopping because I am not as I kept telling them." Blake said feeling a little angry.
"Not stop, just slow. And you really need a break right now consider how you could pass out from overwork any moment right now." Kibo warned.
"I don't care, I have to be the one to stop the White Fang from doing some really bad." Blake snapped as she stands up from her chair facing Kibo.
"No, Blake. You are never alone for you those who care for you deeply around you, you can always count on their help." Kibo protested.
"Then why aren't they helping me with this right now?" Blake asked.
"Because they fear you are going to hurt yourself more than you already have." Kibo answered.
"Well then, you're wasting your time to convince to stop." Blake said.
"Then we'll have to do this the hard way." Kibo sighed.
Before Blake could react nor even see him move, Kibo struck Blake's chest hitting the Shintachu pressure point freezing her body in place.
"What the… Kibo!" Blake glared.
"Sorry about that, Blake. But we really need to talk to you for a bit." Yang said as she walks up to them.
"Y-Yang? This was your idea?" Blake asked angry.
"Yep, and trust me, you're going to thank me for this later." Yang grinned.
"Come on, let's take her to the lecture hall." Yang suggested.
Kibo nods and carry Blake over his shoulder as the couple walk together out of the library while the cat-Faunus herself struggles in vain to break free from this binding, but she couldn't even move a pinky finger.
(Lecture Hall)
Yang is sitting on the teacher desk with her legs cross and Kibo just set Blake down and facing her blonde partner.
"Okay Blake, I'm going to release the hold on you only if you promise not to run away and just hear us out." Kibo said.
Blake knew she wouldn't be able to escape from them anyway, especially with Kibo here being the more skilled fighter and can keep up with her and all.
"Fine, I promise not to run." Blake sighed, accepting this defeat for now.
Kibo look to Yang who gave him the approved nod before looking back at Blake, he closes his eyes and holding up his hand with two fingers out for a couple of seconds then his eyes shot back open, and the binding pressure point is undone allowing Blake to move again.
"Look, I told you guys I'm not going to stop." Blake said.
"And I told you before that we don't want you to stop, just slow down." Kibo repeated.
"I don't have the luxury to slow down." Blake glared at the Hokuto fighter.
"It's not a luxury; it's a necessity." Yang countered.
"The "necessity" is stopping Torchwick." Blake pointed out.
"And we're going to. But first you have to sit down and listen to what I have to say." Yang patted the desk for Blake to sit on.
Blake saw Kibo sitting on the desk right next to Yang as he would also listen to what Yang have to say and remembering the promise she made not to run away, she could at least hear them out just this once.
"Fine." Blake groaned and sat on the desk.
"Ruby and I grew up in Patch, an island off the coast of Vale. Our parents were Huntsmen. Our dad taught at Signal, and our mom took on missions around the kingdom. Her name was Summer Rose, and she was, like... Super-Mom: Baker of cookies and slayer of giant monsters. And then... one day she left for a mission and never came back." Yang remembered how sad she was that day years ago.
Kibo wrap his arm around her neck and a hand on her shoulder for comfort while Blake looks at Yang feeling sad for her partner.
"It was tough. Ruby was really torn up, but... I think she was still too young to really get what was going on, y'know? And my dad just kind of... shut down. It wasn't long before I learned why. Summer wasn't the first love he lost; she was the second. The first... was my mom." Yang revealed which was a shock to Blake.
"He wouldn't tell me everything, but I learned that the two of them had been on a team together with Summer and Qrow, and that she'd left me with him right after I was born. No one had seen her since." Yang explained.
"Why did she leave you?" Blake asked.
"I can only guess that the question keeps on repeating in your head throughout the years." Kibo said.
"Yeah, that question never left my head back then too." Yang stands up from the desk and walk to the chalkboard.
"I didn't know an answer, but I was determined to find out. It was all I thought about. I would ask anyone I could about what they knew about her." Yang said as she grabs a chalk and started drawing on the board.
(Flashback)
The scene shows a little younger Yang who have found a picture inside a smashed frame which got her absolute attention.
"Then, one day, I found something. What I thought was a clue that could lead me to answers, or maybe even my mother." Yang said.
Little Yang is now shown walking through the forest while pulling a red wagon with her little sister, a smaller and younger Ruby, sleeping inside as she was tired while Yang kept on going despite the exhaustion of her body.
"I waited for Dad to leave the house, put Ruby in a wagon, and headed out. I must've walked for hours. I had cuts and bruises, I was totally exhausted, but I wasn't gonna let anything stop me. When we finally got there, I could barely stand, but I didn't care; I had made it." Yang mentioned.
Then Little Yang became sad and scared upon seeing the glowing red eyes, and came out were the pack of Beowolves.
"And then I saw them. Those burning red eyes..." Yang said sounding a little scared of that memory.
The Beowolves slowly crawl to the scared little girl while Little is still sleeping in the wagon ready to pounce on their prey.
"There we were: A toddler sleeping in the back of a wagon and a stupid girl too exhausted to even cry for help. We might as well have been served on a silver platter. But, as luck would have it, our uncle showed up just in time." Yang said, glad to have an awesome uncle like him.
The Beowolves jumps at Yang and Ruby to kill them both, but they are sliced in two pierces, or more than a shadowy figure entered the scene carrying a big scythe to battle the Grimm pack.
(Flashback End)
"My stubbornness should've gotten us killed that night." Yang said as she just finished the drawing of a clockwork eye which is her uncle's emblem.
"I'm sorry you had to go through all that." Kibo apologized.
"It's fine, it's a life lesson I'll never forget nor make the same mistake again." Yang promised, smiling at her boyfriend.
"Yang... I'm sorry that happened to you, and I understand what you're trying to tell me, but this is different. I'm not a child, and this isn't just a search for answers! I can't just" But Yang cut off Blake's words.
"I told you: I'm not telling you to stop! I haven't! To this day, I still want to know what happened to my mother and why she left me, but I will never let that search control me. We're going to find the answers we're looking for, Blake. But if we destroy ourselves in the process, what good are we?" Yang pointed out.
"You don't understand! I'm the only one who can do this!" Blake talked back angry.
"No, you don't understand!" Yang shouted in rage her eyes turn red and walking up to Blake.
"If Roman Torchwick walked through that door, what would you do?" Yang asked.
"I'd fight him!" Blake answered quickly.
"Accept you'll lose from the start." Kibo pointed out as he shoved his hand on Blake's shoulder.
"I can stop him!" Blake tried pushing Kibo back, but her tiredness has drained her strength as Kibo didn't budge at all.
"You can't even stop Kibo even when he would only be using lower than half his strength." Yang stated as she pushed Blake back to the student desks.
Blake was about to get back trying to push them again, but she was stopped by Kibo simply grabbing her shoulder and giving her a serious yet sad look in his eyes.
"Blake, you should know by now that the more you push people away, the more you will hurt yourself of being alone. Not only that, but you would also be hurting the people around her in their hearts as your stubbornness would also affect their daily lives consider how close they want to be in your life." Kibo lectured.
Blake started to let the words sink into her heart and realizing how much her friends do care for her and trying to help her, but she didn't let them near because she feared they would get hurt around her.
But now that is a mistake.
"Okay, I'll stop." Blake nodded.
"Glad to hear because there's a certain monkey boy you owe an apologize." Yang mentioned Sun.
"Right, and I know just what to do." Blake smiled as they walk out of the lecture hall.
