(Rias Gremory POV)

Change was something Rias found to be fascinating. Especially in a time of upcoming peril right at her heels named Riser, she needed some change. She needed change, because within change there was chaos, and within chaos there were always new pieces in the whirlpool of turmoil that she could pick up. She had picked up Akeno. She had picked up Koneko. She had picked up Kiba. She had picked up Gasper. Now… she was planning on picking up Issei, but should she pick up the new student as well? For Koneko to be wary of him… he had to be very talented for a human or he had some sort of Sacred Gear that none of the devils could detect.

Oyama Sugihara was the newcomer's name and from day one he made quite a statement that even reached Rias's ears.

"I'm Oyama Sugihara. I'm half-Japanese and half-Korean. If you have a problem with my heritage, come and talk to me directly and not behind my back. If you do, I promise that I'm going to make it less painful for you."

There wasn't anybody who told him that his heritage was a problem up front of course. But those that did behind his back… well… they did suffer, true to Oyama's words. Even girls weren't an exception when it came to Oyama's fury.

It had been only two four months since Oyama came to Kuoh Academy, and now he already claimed the title of the demon of Kuoh along with many other noticeable ones. Quite ironic, really. A human being called demonic in the school grounds while devils tread their feet in the very institution. But somehow… he still managed to get a large group of fangirls who gushed and fantasized about having Oyama punching them in the face and beating them all over. Even Rias had to feel bad for Oyama… even Kiba didn't have such crazy perverts admiring him in such a fashion.

Besides those facts and gossips, Oyama was truly strange. Once school was finished, he would simply disappear from school, and in his new residence it seemed that there was nobody present but himself. And in three days out of five weekdays, he always slept through class with large dark circles decorating his eyes. It was strange indeed. He never seemed to look like somebody who would sleep so late to the point of exhaustion considering the way he took care of his body.

Oyama Sugihara was such a fascinating human that Rias would love to inspect more closely.

However, being too greedy was never going to work for her in any way. Now, she had to focus on getting Hyoudou Issei and only after she picked him up… she would move on to inspecting Oyama and determine if he was useful enough to be in her peerage… only if Sona would let her of course.

(Sona Sitri POV)

Change was something Sona found to be agonizing.

Perhaps it was because of her elder sister who insisted 24/7 that magical girls needed to change into the most adorable dresses, but nonetheless, she despised it. She hated the chaos that sprung up from it, and it was vexing to see chaos ruining her plans and order. In order, everything was predictable as long as she kept everything in check. In a predictable situation, she could make amends to her plan and be prepared. But… but chaos was something she cannot predict no matter what. And disorder was… it simply vexed someone like Sona Sitri who was calm and collected.

Within this school grounds, everything was an organization that moved on cogs and wheels, and Sona had analyzed these cogs and wheels for quite a time until she grasped the fundamental behaviors of them. She understood how they turned, she could predict the cause and effect, and she could manipulate the directions they were turning. In this territory, she was able to act as the undisputable queen who had her own personal perfect kingdom.

Then, change happened.

It was her fault to a certain degree. She should've been more precise when looking at the transcripts for the new student: Oyama Sugihara. She only checked to see if he was an acceptable member or not in this academy, and she had believed that Oyama wouldn't stir much fuss in the academy. His looks were average, and he had been in a fight only once in his previous school. His grades were average, and… his background was also average enough to enter the school.

But he as a person was not even close to being average.

Stupid, stupid Sona. She had to meet him in person to get a good grip on his character. A simple page filled with words and numbers wasn't the proper way to evaluate anyone and although Sona knew this, she had simply dismissed it, believing that it would be a waste of time for her to meet the boy face to face. She didn't… expect Oyama to have an aura of charisma surrounding his body like armor and it was that charisma of his that made so many girls swoon and thirst over the brooding boy.

Unlike Kiba, who was nice to everybody and had a pleasant air around him, Oyama was the complete opposite. In school, his face was either that of uninterest, annoyance, or straightdown pissed and always emitted the vibe of 'Touch me and I'll bite.'

But… even with his unfriendly attitude, Oyama wasn't an asshole in any regards. He had shown acts of kindness such as carrying an injured student to the nurse's office, and heavily scolding some underclassmen for smoking on school grounds. This side, combined with his steel cold eyes kicked his popularity to the same level as Kiba.

That was okay for Sona. This much change was okay for her to keep the students in check, and have another orderly day in Kuoh, but unfortunately, chaos was easy to blossom in her so-called perfect kingdom.

After three weeks since Oyama Sugihara came to Kuoh Academy, a war broke out between the Kiba fangirls and the Oyama fangirls.

Sona just wanted to punch the reset button for the universe. How could she have predicted such foolishness from these illogical humans?! It was insane! Totally insane!

To make matters worse, that wasn't the last war between the Oyama fangirls and the Kiba fangirls. Sona had just come back from acting as the moderator who urged the two parties to not go into a third war.

Yes, there had been a second war that involved even some of the boys who admired Oyama for his 'manliness' and those who hated him for his popularity with the girls. The aftermath of this war brought an ambulance for a heavily bruised boy who smiled weakly claiming that he was now a true man with his fist raised high in the air as he was carried out on a stretcher, but that was a story for another headache with pills of tylenol.

It took her two hours to finally get the two parties to sign the peace treaty and send them back to their homes. In addition, her peerage had to launch themselves at the girls who were about to go after each other's throats during the conference while Sona kept on screaming 'Decorum!' at the top of her lungs. In other words, it was a chaotic assembly, pretty similar to when the pillars of Hell met together on a few occasions to discuss politics.

Holding back a sob, Sona dug her face in her paperwork, her frustration reaching the breaking point.

Oh how she missed the good old days where the only headache she had was accepting complaints about the perverted trio…

Poor Sona. She had no idea that a huge tsunami of chaos was coming to Kuoh.

(Oyama Sugihara POV)

Oyama hated this mission.

First thing about this mission that sucked was that… he had no idea why he was stationed in Kuoh. Sure, he was notified that he was surrounded by devils, and received specific information of the two devils who were basically nobles, and their peerage, but… to just be stationed here without any further notice was just bullshit. His main mission was to simply stay put and pretend to stay ignorant of the devils in the academy, but no further orders were given to him at all.

Second thing about this mission that sucked was Kuoh Academy and its inhabitants. After a month attending the godforsaken place(heh… godforsaken… how fitting for an academy filled with devils) he learned that a huge war broke out between his fangirls and another popular boy's fangirls. And he didn't even know he had his own fanbase in a school he had been attending for barely a month! It took all of his energy, and the other popular boy's energy, to convince the student council president that they had nothing to do with the war, which had resulted in a heavy damage to the school facilities that resulted in hefty bills to cover up the destruction.

A few days before that he was confronted by a girl with square glasses who was breathing heavily as she announced loudly at Oyama to give her a good beating and spit on her for good measure.

Oyama simply jumped from the three story academy as the girl took a step forward with her lecherous fingers wriggling in the most disgusting manner.

However, her sexual assaults never stopped and to make it worse, several others had asked him the same requests, although they had the decency to do it privately. In the end, after several requests from the glass girl, Oyama punched Aika in her left cheek, sending the girl in pigtails flying across the hallway as she tumbled about.

And she somehow loved it, lying on the floor while convulsing with pleasure.

Moving on to the third.

Third thing about this mission that sucked was that he was alone in non-human territory. In most cases, teenagers like him were paired up with a partner. However, Oyama had yet to be assigned a partner. He was stuck with a Japanese shrine girl and her boyfriend for some time, but after some time with them, they had to split up.

And here he was, surrounded by supernatural creatures to his right and left. One good thing about being in a devil's territory was that he was free from patrolling the streets in case of vampires, stray devils, werewolves, or other supernatural shit that terrorized humans. The devils who owned this area got that covered and his King had assured him that they were prideful devils whose pride wouldn't let destructive forces exist in their territory.

But still, it felt quite lonely being stuck in a school filled with perverts of all kinds.

Why couldn't his friends be with him to share his pain and suffering? Why did they have to fly off to Korea? Why couldn't they take him with them?!

Gritting his teeth in frustration, Oyama simply began to punch the sixth punching bag before it burst open by the sheer force of his fists.

Sighing, he rose up to his tiptoes and brought the wrecked sandbag down to the ground. At least the pay was awesome from doing all this work…

Just what was the King planning to do with him? Obviously, it had to do something with those devils of nobility, but… what was it that he wished him to do?

(The King POV)

As a reincarnated person, my past life memories are getting funky nowadays.

As an orphan with barely any connections with the living, surviving in the orphanage was an extreme endeavor. I had to keep my head down and appease those who were older than me. I had to be cruel to my peers and those who were younger than me to survive, and I needed to endure the other orphan's cruelness to survive. Signs of compassion in a shitty place like this were immediately interpreted as signs of being weak, and knowing this, I refused my conscience to get the better of me.

But I wasn't going to waste this second chance. I intended to spend this life to its fullest with minimum regrets, just as I did with my previous one.

Unfortunately, this place was way different from my original world.

The first incident began when I, along with two others, were picked off from the orphanage by a gorgeous lady with stunning black hair. Thankfully, my hormones didn't flare up since I was still too young to feel anything like that, but that didn't stop me from admiring her curvy hips as they walked right in front of me. Thus, when I was notified that I was being adopted by that beautiful woman, I couldn't contain my excitement. The new chapter of an adopted life seemed great and I was looking forward to my new life with this woman, until the truth came out.

I believe the woman used some kind of gaseous chemical at the back of the car to put all three of us to sleep. Then, when I woke up, I was stark naked and had a metal collar around my neck with a chain preventing me from moving around. I was in a cell and I heard screaming. Lots and lots of screaming coming from here and there.

Later on, the woman introduced herself calling herself a devil as she spread two black bat wings from her shoulder blades. Then, she began to physically eat one of the orphans that happened to be right next to me.

Things went straight downhill from that and within two weeks of my captivity with two of the other orphans dead, I unlocked what was called a Sacred Gear. Sacred Gears are a divine item that was handed down by God to humans, or so they believed. They say that God had done so because humans were naturally weaker and fearing that we would be enslaved by other supernatural forces that were superior than us, the benevolent God gave us Sacred Gears to protect and preserve humanity and that kind of bullshit. According to what I know of humans, they would be most likely to use it upon ourselves. Even worse, the supernatural forces can always manipulate, enslave, or even take away the humans who own a Sacred Gear, obtaining God's given gifts that were not meant for them.

But even with those obvious loopholes in God's so-called 'fairness', I couldn't help but feel glad that I had one. Plus, it wasn't just any normal Sacred Gear. It was one of those rare-types. Those overpowered ones we see in anime and criticize about. Sure, I was one of those who criticized the main characters getting overpowered 'gifts' and not actually doing anything to achieve that kind of godly level, but I wasn't going to complain about having one for myself.

If I was going to live in this world filled with monsters, the best thing I could do is to abuse every single advantage that's handed down to me regardless of being fair or not.

After my Sacred Gear had awakened, I must have blacked out immediately after using it, because when I opened my eyes, the devil who was doing to rape and eat me alive was now nothing more than a sanguine smear on the cold cement floor of her personal sex dungeon.

Already used to the sight of gore, I tried my best to get out of the basement, but to no avail. Apparently, my usage of the Sacred Gear had not only destroyed the devil, but the basement keys she had with her. In other words, I had destroyed my only way out of that hellhole. Keep in mind that at this time, I still had no idea why the devil suddenly died or that I suddenly gained powers from the Sacred Gear. Confused, weak, and scared, I tried my best to open the iron door that stood in front of my freedom.

In the end, I had blisters all over my hands and shoulders from attempting to push and slam the door to open with all of my nails peeled off from scratching it.

I had thought of dying there, along with the countless bodies that the devil had consumed, but my survival instincts were too strong to just give up.

Drinking from the pool of blood left by the devil, I had to satisfy my thirst and clench my stomach to force my mind not to vomit. I stuffed myself with raw meat from the dead, but not yet decomposed, when I couldn't bear the pain of hunger.

With the will to survive strong in my mind, I lasted six days inside until somebody opened the door from the outside. At that time I was too weak to even raise my head to look at them, but their frantic voices and the feeling of comfort from them made me know I was in the right hands. However, I was too exhausted and too hungry to smile and drifted off to sleep.

Apparently, a magician happened to save me. And this wasn't just an everyday magician. This was a giant man with hair white as snow as tiny chairs were crushed by his sheer weight. I later learned that he was the chairman of South Korea's largest cooperation, Six-Sung CO. that dealt with semiconductors, which were shipped worldwide. It seemed that this was the alternate version of Samsung in this universe. But that wasn't enough for this man. He was apparently considered to be the most talented human magician in this universe too, as he was the leader of the National Magician Association, one of the largest and strongest magician organizations.

He was Jeon Jaesan, the half-giant human magician, who simply became the greatest through practice and great talent.

For the time being, I was under his care and learned about the world that existed outside the norm. I learned of the three factions, the great war between the three factions, magic, Sacred Gears, my Sacred Gear, and so much more. Before I knew it, he had adopted me and I was under his care as he taught me how to utilize my Sacred Gear. But the minute I learned what my Sacred Gear was, I hardly needed Jaesan's help.

Memories of my previous life flooded into my brain as I began to connect my knowledge with this current world. And I soon realized that this world was a shitty combination of Highschool DXD and God Of Highschool. Although I hadn't been much of a fan of Highschool DXD, I was very familiar with God Of Highschool, and because of that, I knew exactly what my Sacred Gear on my left eye was.

It was Wisdom. Wisdom that granted me total control over natural forces in the universe. The eye that once belonged to the Jade Emperor. This Sacred Gear was the Sage's Wisdom.

Within half a year, I already grasped the basics of utilizing and manipulating Attraction, Repulsion, Gravity, Inertia, Friction, and Velocity. But Electromagnetic Force, Strong Force, and Weak Force was something that took two whole years to master. And when I did… I was able to obtain a close win against Jeon Jaesan.

Having a Sacred Gear felt like cheating. It really did, but I was going to use it to its maximum. It would be stupid if I were to simply hold back when I have such a powerful weapon at my disposal, wouldn't it?

After a few years, staying with my foster father, I had made up my mind. Knowing that in this world humans were just pawns for superior beings didn't sit well for me. Before the great war, we were like cattle, some obtaining the strength to ward off supernatural forces away from themselves and their loved ones, while others were forced into slavery by blackmail or hypnotism. Nowadays, to replenish the devil population, Evil Pieces were being used left and right to turn humans into devils, and Jeon Jaesan and I had to see the irresponsible outcome of such an act. Many humans who were turned into devils had been done by force and without consent, and either they grew mad or ran away from their abusive owners, with the title 'Stray Devil' branding them to be hunted down.

It was bullshit and it left a bad taste in my mouth. A really bad taste indeed. Already experiencing a brutal treatment from a devil, I could relate to the victims on some level and I knew that nobody deserved to be treated or maimed in such a way.

So, I decided to build a Human Faction. A faction that would protect humanity and install consent and safety throughout Earth.

But in order to do that, I needed allies. Jeon Jaesan was already a great ally to be with, but I wasn't going to stop there. He was my foster father and although he told me that he supported my decision in protecting humanity, I couldn't just ask the leader of the Golden Dawn to work for me. Jeon Jaesan was an ally, who would be working with me, not for me. I needed my own men and women. I needed my own organization to install what I wished and I put it in motion.

But I wasn't ready yet. In order to recruit strong people who were interested in my goals, I needed to travel with ease, and taking a single plane cost a lot of money and I wasn't comfortable asking my foster father for cash everytime I traveled around the world.

Thus, for the next year, I focused on bringing out the Jade Emperor's three weapons. The Robe of the Sage, the Blade of Tathagata, and the Cane of the Sage. At the end of the year, I had succeeded in bringing the item I wanted all along.

The Cane of the Sage. An incredible item that allowed the user to go anywhere in this universe. Heavenly Realms, Earth, Dimensional Gaps… everything was accessible with this item. Also… this item allowed me to search those who I wished to find with extreme ease. Unless they were hiding and doing a good job at it, it was impossible to not be detected by the Cane of the Sage.

Saying my goodbyes to Jeon Jaesan who was going to have a grandson soon, I packed my things and left.

Now here we are. At the age of ten I had left Jaesan's residence and started to go around the world. Now, at the age of twenty seven I had a faction to manage.

With my foster father, I had created the SIX where the strongest, most skilled, and most influential six humans in the world gathered for the sake of humanity. I created NOX, a huge company that wasn't as big as Six-Sung CO. but getting dangerously close. And I had a network of people and spies all around.

I will admit, I had dirtied my hands several times and even to this day I couldn't wash the blood off my hands or throw off the thoughts of my unethical behaviors. But… it was a necessary process. You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs…

And now… we had the plot hurtling towards us. The plot of Highschool DXD was coming up close and at this stage, I was going to face it ready or not. Having Oyama Sugihara stationed at Kuoh I waited patiently for four months waiting for the main plot to kick in, despite Oyama's constant plea of moving out of Kuoh. Nobody had yet suspected a single thing, but the truth of Oyama's identity was going to be revealed soon. But that is okay. As long as I get what I want, everything will be okay.

Coming out of the plane with Executive C, Executive D, and Executive X, I had finally arrived in Japan.

Now all that I could hope was that my memories served me correctly. After all, it could be very disastrous for me if things didn't go the way I had expected them to.

(Oyama Sugihara POV)

When Oyama finally received his orders a few weeks ago, he was greatly relieved.

However, when he read his orders, he fell into despair again.

Every day from now, he was supposed to write a report on Hyoudou Issei's behavior. And the King was going to personally read his reports.

Oyama greatly disliked Hyoudou Issei as a sane human being. His perverted actions, along with his two degenerate friends was something that disgusted Oyama to his very core. Already a victim of sexual assault, he couldn't stand the existence of the three and he had made very sure that he didn't approve of their actions by spreading his killing intent over the three when they attempted to talk to him about joining their little degenerate group.

The three avoided him after that and Oyama was glad that they did. He couldn't stand any more perverts around him, but to receive orders to observe the pervert…

Oyama was scared of the possibility of the King recruiting Issei to his faction. After all, in the order he received, it was said that Hyoudou Issei was the possessor of a high tier Sacred Gear. Great. Another reason to hate the bastard.

But seriously… if that pervert was actually recruited… then…

Oyama shuddered as his body instinctively reacted to his memories of sparring with a purple-haired girl about his age. A Bishop… a title only given to those who had a chance of winning against one of the SIX. Although Oyama was an Executive, which meant that he was powerful enough to face stray devils alone, a Bishop was on a whole different level that rivaled the King. And she wasn't even using her Sacred Gear to tear him down along with a dozen other executives.

With that purple monster and considering Issei's nature to go after beautiful girls… he would definitely show his perverted attitude to the Bishop… and the Bishop was far from a kind, merciful person… Oh Gods… Hyoudou was going to 100% get killed by her if he were to be recruited.

Putting away his gruesome thoughts of the Hyoudou pervert getting torn into millions of pieces, he began to focus on his job, opening his ears and writing notes of the pervert's behaviors.

For days, Oyama continued to write about Hyoudou's behavior and extreme acts that occurred every once in a while. But… the impossible happened.

Hyoudou Issei had loudly proclaimed he was not single anymore, claiming that a cute girl confessed her feelings to him.

Although Oyama knew that there were a lot of diverse people in this world that had different tastes, a girl asking somebody like Hyoudou out was something that Oyama ahd believed to be impossible. How could any sane woman even like a person who actively spoke his intentions of becoming a harem king? To have a harem meant that he wasn't going to date exclusively and the mere thought unsettled Oyama's stomach. As a male, Oyama had to admit that having multiple partners sounded pretty hot and sweet, but in reality, it didn't sit well with him. Unless there were some extreme circumstances and events that allowed a single person to have multiple partners with all of their consent, Oyama couldn't accept such a concept of a harem. If things were in reverse, Oyama doubted that he would keep his cool if he learned that his lover, which he didn't have one yet, had multiple boyfriends. If that was the case for him, wouldn't it be the same with women?

Well… apparently not, considering that this girl confessed to Hyoudou. Or… she wasn't aware of how degenerate this guy was. That was the most plausible answer, but… considering Hyoudou's well known infamy, Oyama doubted this theory of his.

Or was she perhaps after his Sacred Gear?

In fact… this seemed to be more likely than what he had thought of. Although the devils hadn't made their move to recruit Hyoudou, it couldn't be said for other forces who wished for his Sacred Gear. There were angels, fallen angels, and other devils who weren't associated with the Gremory and the Sitri.

For fuck's sake… it seemed like he was going to have to protect the human from the supernatural forces. Although Hyoudou was scum in Oyama's books, he wasn't on the level to deserve something so extreme like death or eternal slavery. If that happened, it would leave a bad aftertaste in Oyama's mouth whenever he seeked to go to sleep.

Although Oyama wasn't 100% sure that the girl was indeed a person who approached Hyoudou with the intention to obtain his Sacred Gear, he was going to make sure that Hyoudou didn't fall into trouble. After all, that was what Human Faction was all about.

Protecting those who needed protection.

(The King POV)

I was… quite perplexed at Oyama's future course of actions. I knew he was one big tsundere, but I didn't even expect him to state that he was going to help Hyoudou Issei. According to his daily reports, I had thought that the martial artist hated the pervert with burning passion enough to let him die in the cold. But it was good to see Oyama's good-natured side kicking out of his hard-boiled shell.

Well… he was free to do what he wished to do. If he believed saving Hyoudou Issei was the right thing, I was in no position to stop him. After all, the fate of the Red Dragon had nothing to do with my plans. As much as I would love to have the Great Ddraig amongst my ranks, the drawbacks of having him would be larger than having him by my side. Although I think myself to be quite flexible and a carefree person, I don't think there would be good chemistry between me and Issei. Although he didn't go far to molest or rape anybody, he was walking on a dangerous borderline of doing so. And besides, his acts of peeping along with his degenerate speech was something that many of my Executives and Bishops would find hard to handle.

Besides, choosing this path would be more of a hindrance to his dreams, and if things went really wrong, he could become an outcast amongst my subordinates and be bullied, which was a case I hoped would never happen. Yes. If I recruited Issei, he wouldn't be as happy as being a devil and joining Rias Gremory. In fact, being in the Human Faction may only make him depressed and sad, and I didn't want that to happen to such a person, no matter how much of a degenerate he is.

Thus, I wasn't so opposed to the main events happening. After all, Issei wasn't the type to injure innocent people on purpose.

But… considering Oyama was going to interfere…

"Tch." I clicked my tongue as a slight scowl adorned my face for a split second. Oyama Sugihara was strong. There is no doubt in that. But to go against a rogue fallen angel… Those beings were completely on a different level from stray devils, especially those with somewhat combat experience. Although this will hurt Oyama's pride… I had to send at least one more executive to make sure of his safety.

"Executive X."

Immediately, a young Japanese boy entered my room with a small default smile on his face as he greeted me.

"Yes, my King?"

"I need you to go to Kuoh and observe Executive E and assist him. But… make sure he doesn't know about it, will you? We both know how prideful he can be… Oh, and please cover up your tracks. You do know that the Gremory has a Nekotama, right?"

"I'll provide Executive X with a concealing talisman, should it please you." Interjected Executive D. Even till this day, I still wonder if her eyes were really closed or very slightly opened.

"Sounds great!" I spoke, bringing both of my thumbs up.

Quickly bringing out an ink pen and a yellow paper, a simple, yet powerful talisman was created within five seconds and was handed to Executive X, who took it with a warm smile.

"I'll be right back before you know it, my King." He spoke, grinning cheekily as he gathered his fingers to perform senjutsu. Then, with a puff of smoke, he was gone.

Executive X knew Oyama well, and so did Executive D. After all, years ago, Executive X, Executive D, and Executive E were the Japanese trio who were in charge of Japanese areas, while expanding their intelligence network. Then, I had to call Executive X and Executive D back to HQ to train a newbie that I had recently recruited.

Now, with the major events about to start, I had to be there at the beginning to eliminate the threats and achieve a perfect victory. Perfect being 0 loses on my side and complete obliteration on the side that had malevolent intentions what we wished to protect.

"Whoa…" Came the voice of awe from the newbie who just watched his teacher disappear with a trail of smoke. "So cool! Ne, Midori-san! Midori-san! I'll be able to reach that level of senjutsu, right? I'll be as strong as Kusanagi sensei, right?!"

"No." Spoke Executive D, her passive face turning a bit more rigid than usual. "You will not exceed Executive X. Besides, be formal around the King. Your attitude is that of a child who cannot contain his happiness in a chocolate factory."

Her words seemed to damage Executive C quite badly, as he began to sulk in the corner, drawing circles.

"Now, now, Executive D. It's alright, it's alright. Executive C will eventually learn the ropes of formality. Besides, I love his enthusiastic attitude! Reminds me of myself when I was younger!"

"Please…" Spoke Executive D, through her gritted teeth, seeing how Executive C brightened up after hearing my words. "Don't encourage him."

It was already too late as the young boy was pumped up with enthusiasm again. Although Executive D wasn't that pleased with Executive C's attitude, I always find it fun and a bit cute to look at. Although he was currently the weakest executive, his talent of staying positive and uplifting the heavy atmosphere was something that I found to be a valuable trait.

But even without his positivity, he was a genius senjutsu user. After reading too much manga and being completely immersed inside the fictional world of magic and ki, the crazy kid managed to use senjutsu. But it was dangerous. Using senjutsu required the utmost focus in order to suppress the malice around them, and when I had found Executive C blowing fire out of his mouth in a secluded place, I was worried, fearing that I was too late and the user was already corrupted beyond repair.

But… that wasn't the case. In fact, there was something outrageous about this young teenager that kept him safe from the ill will around his surroundings. Even Executive X and Executive D who trained him personally in utilizing senjutsu had confirmed this very theory I had in mind.

Executive C was simply immune to malice and the ill will of the world.

Something was fundamentally broken inside Executive C. Either it was because of the neglectance of his parents, or his extreme dependence upon countless of manga, something was definitely wrong with the otaku. So wrong that he could simply dismiss the malice that he absorbed while using senjutsu.

And that fact seemed to infuriate Executive D to no end. Her pride as a senjutsu user was damaged as she was bested by a Korean weeb who self-taught himself. And, with the guidance of her and Executive X, the growth of his abilities were accelerating to the point that he would easily exceed the two of them in terms of senjutsu within months.

But naturally, he would still be the weakest, considering his lack of experience. But there was his sharp intellect to cover that up.

Who knew manga was capable of granting anybody with such skills?

"Don't be such a killjoy, Executive D." Came the calm voice of Executive J as he entered the room with his personal maid following close behind him, holding a tray of snacks for us. "I have to admit that his cheerful mood does remind me of the King in his past days."

Executive J was the grandson of my foster father, and also my godchild. Whenever I had free-time, I would visit Jeon Jaesan and his adorable little grandson and play with him. At first I had no intention of having him as an executive, as I only saw him as a younger brother or to some extent, a son. But when he voiced his wish to join my faction, along with my foster father's permission to join the Human Faction, I had to accept him.

He was talented, young, and had a great amount of potential waiting to be unlocked.

Although I try my best not to play favorites, I can't help but feel a more personal connection with Executive J.

As for his maid… she was there to simply serve her young master, although she was the same age as he was. In simpler words, she was Executive J's direct subordinate, who was also considered to be a part of the Human Faction. It wasn't abnormal for Executives to have subordinates of their own. Obviously, not anybody could be a subordinate of an executive of the Human Faction. If an executive happened to wish to have their own subordinates, they had to first inform me of their decision and I had to evaluate the person they wished to have in the Human Faction. Time to time, some were underqualified due to attitude problems, a weak mindset, complete lack of skills to aid our cause, or their inability to keep a secret. But in most cases, I welcomed the recommended people into my faction. Of course, at the end it was up to them to join this sort of dangerous work of protecting humanity from species that were naturally superior to us.

But to attempt to individually evaluate seven females who were part of Executive B's harem… that was quite the endeavor. I even had to scold and lecture Executive B when he whined and complained that I only allowed two members to join the Human Faction while the other five were left behind, not knowing what kind of work Executive B did for a living and blind to the world of angels and devils.

Anyways, back to these snacks, and gosh were they good. Executive J's subordinate was truly a top tier maid.

"My compliments to the chef." I spoke, tilting my head towards the maid who started to beam with pride with an expressionless face.

"Indeed. Her culinary skills seem to improve day by day." Spoke Executive J as he nibbled on chocolate melted by hot caramel. "Thank you, Hyangdan."

"Shame that Kusanagi sen— I mean, Executive X isn't here to try any of these." Spoke Executive C, stuffing himself with ice cream. "I mean… this is gourmet level stuff, right here."

Now, the maid was illuminating from all the praises being casually and genuinely thrown at her. Now, tilting her head a bit higher than usual, she simply bowed her head, continuously glowing with pride.

"I'm glad that you have enjoyed what I have prepared." She spoke in her monotonous tone. But even with her expressionless act, it was obvious to hear joy behind those stiff words.

"Aren't you going to have some Executive D?" I asked her, handing her a plate of dessert.

"I appreciate the sentiment, but I'd rather wait for Executive X."

"... well, suit yourself." I answered back, popping a spoonful of ice cream in my mouth. "... say… do you want to bet if Executive E would actually need Executive X's help or not?"

"What are we betting on, if we were to accept?" Asked Executive D, suspicious for being a victim many times to my antics.

"Well… considering that Executive D isn't a materialistic person, let's bet on words."

"Words?" Parroted Executive J, placing his spoon down. "How exactly would that work?"

"Simple, the winners get to ask the losers and the losers must give their honest answer."

"Seems fun enough." Piped up Executive J, after a short pause. "I'm in. Hyangdan, do you want to join too?"

"If the young master wishes, I will participate in the bet." Spoke to the maid, calmly.

"I'm in too!" Grinned Executive C, hopping in. Although he was a loner for quite a long time, due to his fixation on manga and anime, which ultimately made him a social outcast, he was a guy who loved to mix and interact with people. Thus, Executive C couldn't possibly refuse to participate in this game.

"I suppose I'll join as well." Sighed Executive D. Then, she sharply turned and stared at my direction. "But I do hope that everybody speaks the honest truth, if they were to lose."

"Of course. Have I ever gone against my words?" I asked, smiling lightly at Executive D who made an unpleasant face that screamed 'But you make loopholes all the time!'.

(Initiating continuous POV changes between Raynare, Oyama Sugihara, and the spectators)

Oyama was right. And although he felt the rush of satisfaction for being right, he didn't wish he was right.

Hyoudou Issei, the bearer of an overpowered weapon, was being targeted by a fallen angel of all things. But… it didn't make sense. If it were a devil or an angel or a monster, he would've accepted the situation easily, but for a fallen angel to target a human…? Wasn't that against the rules? He knew for a fact that the King and the leader of Grigori had made a pact that no fallen angel would harm, manipulate, or use a human being out of their own personal gain without 100% consent given from both sides. Plus, the terms of consent were defined with scrutinizing details that no fallen angel could possibly make a loop hole out of. And even if they did…

Well… Oyama didn't wish to think much of it.

The leader of the Grigori was a sensible fallen angel, and wasn't some crass warmonger. But seeing this fallen angel…

Either the leader of Grigori had broken the pact between the King and was attempting to steal the high-tier Sacred Gear for himself, or this was just a rogue fallen angel that had abandoned Grigori to do whatever she liked without being bound by rules.

But with those theories aside… he needed to focus on saving Hyoudou. Right now, the wings of the fallen angel were revealed along with her true form, and with the look of her eyes and the killing intent all over the place, Oyama was sure that this bitch was going to kill Hyoudou for sure. But… that didn't make any sense damn it! Why was she trying to kill him? Did she assume that his Sacred Gear would be a threat to Gigori or to her plans? Was that why she was trying to kill him, and not enslave him?

Either way, he was going to save Hyoudou's ass.

With a red light spear in her hands, the fallen angel lunged downwards at the kneeling pervert who probably lost strength in his legs from the sudden turn of events. However, Oyama was in range already before the tip of the spear hit Hyoudou.

With a heavy kick, Oyama forcefully changed the trajectory of the spear, but not enough as it slashed Hyoudou's right waist, drawing blood.

"O-Oyama…?!" Yelled Hyoudou, his eyes filled with tears. "What's going on! What are you—"

"Run Hyoudou!" Yelled Oyama putting his fists up as he grit his teeth as the fallen angel seemed taken aback by Oyama's appearance. "That thing isn't your girlfriend and had no intentions to be yours in the first place! Run before she kills you!"

"B-but…!"

"A human… kicked my spear away…? A mere human…? A HUMAN?!" Roared the fallen angel as she glared at Oyama with such a hateful expression. "You'll pay for this insult, YOU WORTHLESS SCUM!"

'Here it comes…!' Thought Oyama as he grit his teeth.

Receiving visual information thanks to Executive X, who was a couple of meters away from where the battle was taking place, we were marveling at the spectacle of Oyama deflecting light spears with his bare hands while attempting to strike back at the fallen angel, but with no avail as the fallen angel simply flew away from Executive E's reach.

While watching a fight was always fun, the King couldn't help but grow curious about the reasons behind his executives(including a subordinate of a single executive) choices of the aftermath of the fight. They all announced their decisions after the fallen angel revealed herself, but considering how diverse the opinions were, the King couldn't help but wonder what they were thinking.

"Why would you think that Executive E would need Executive X's help Hyangdan?" He asked the maid who stood behind Executive J.

"From what I have gathered, the Human Faction is filled with good people, save for a very few." She spoke after some time of considering her choice of words. "And every executive that I have come across seemed to uphold the main noble goal of the Human Faction: protecting the weak and those who need to be protected. Executive E, although he may be a very spiteful person from time to time, is also somebody who would hate himself if he failed to save an innocent person."

"Uh… isn't that a good thing about him?" Asked Executive C, scratching his head. "I thought you said that he was going to lose…"

"Yes. It is a great quality for a human being to have." Agreed Hyangdan. "However, it is because of that quality of his that he will fail in defeating the fallen angel single handedly. Taking account of the human that the fallen angel has targeted, Executive E must be considering the human's existence while he has to defend and counterattack the fallen angel's attacks. On the other hand, the fallen angel would certainly use the situation to her advantage. The only thing she needs to worry about is defending herself, while Executive E has to defend both himself and the other human."

"Now you mention it…" Spoke Executive C as he stared at the screen. "He hasn't even budged from his spot! What are you doing…? Get out of there right now!"

"He can't hear you." Said Executive D.

"Oh, I know that." Pouted Executive C, crossing his arms. "Although I've been in his shoes before, he really has to move! Between flight and fight, this is clearly a flight situation, not a fight situation!"

"Speaking of which, you chose that Executive E would win with great confidence. Why did you choose him so confidently in the first place?" Questioned Executive D, her eyebrows raised.

"Eh? Why did I think he was going to win?" Asked Executive C, giving the shrine girl the 'duh' look.

"You should know better. He's super strong, that's why."

'I'm a fallen angel… A fallen angel who wields holy light from Father!' Raynare gnashed her teeth as she seethed. 'And I have beautiful wings that could conquer the sky unlike those human pests, and yet…!'

Raynare couldn't believe what was going on. She had just thrown at least two dozen light spears at the human that just interrupted her from killing the Sacred Gear user. Also, by looking at the way this human defended himself, Raynare doubted that he had a Sacred Gear, which meant that he was more puny than that Hyoudou boy.

But… but why was she the one who was out of breath?!

"Hyoudou… I told you to run damn it!" Yelled the black-haired human as his forearms bled from several cuts from protecting himself and the Sacred Gear user. "You're being a hindrance! Just get out of here, now!"

Somehow, the words of the meddler seemed to snap Hyoudou out of his stupor as he suddenly stood up and bolted. However, this action of the boy simply made Raynare smile widely.

"Hah! How pathetic human! A shield is only useful when the wielder holds it close to their bosom!"

Then, creating another red light spear, Raynare prepared to throw the spear at the running boy. Judging by the distance between the Sacred Gear user and the meddler, the meddler wouldn't be able to save Hyoudou, no matter how strong and fast he was. And when the meddler would realize and turn back to warn Hyoudou… she was going to impale him right where he stood.

Only that she was unable to.

Suddenly, a vortex of air slammed into her causing her to drop the spear in surprise, and screech in pain as she was flung to the ground. Then, before she knew what was happening, the meddler was already in front of her face.

[First Stage: The Fist of the Black Turtle]

Everybody had to wince as Executive E's fist dug straight into the fallen angel's face, causing a horrible cracking noise and probably a fractured skull. But he didn't stop there, not when he just brought the fallen angel to ground level. For a martial artist who was on the verge of being a master of kyokushin karate at such a young age, Executive E knew that he had a great disadvantage if his opponent had the ability of flight, since most of his technique required his opponent to be on ground level with him. In the television screen, Executive E kept on kicking, punching, elbowing the fallen angel, not giving her the time to recover.

"What was that…?" Whispered Executive C, as he stared in awe. "I knew he was strong, but that vortex thingy was something I've never seen or heard before…"

"While he was deflecting the light spears, he was using that opportunity to prepare for the final stage of the kyokushin arts. By moving his limbs, he had already manipulated the airflow around him, and fortunately those light spears hardly carry any mass to disrupt the preparations. Thus, he was able to direct the airflow toward that fallen angel." Commented Executive D as she was watching with great interest.

"H-huh? You can maneuver airflows with just martial arts?! Man, that's so cool! Sure senjutsu and Sacred Gears are cool, but normal martial arts have their own cool uniqueness, you know?" Spoke Executive C, as he could barely contain his excitement.

"In fact, this isn't the full extent of that technique. The original one is much more devastating that it could rip off her wings. He had to skip a few steps and improvise a lot, but it's amazing nonetheless." Spoke the King, helping himself with more ice cream as he stared at the screen with anticipation.

"More devastating than that…" Murmured Executive J as he stared at the fight with awe. "To be on such a level with martial arts alone…"

"Man… this guy is brutal too! I think he just broke that wing! Go Executive E! Beat that fallen angel's ass!" Cheered Executive C, not noticing the disapproved look from Executive D.

"But he will lose if he doesn't notice his situation." Commented Executive J as he sat up straighter.

"E-eh, what do you mean? He's currently beating the sh— I-I mean crap! Crap! I mean… uh… you know!" Stuttered Executive C as he frantically attempted to amend his words, but failed immensely as Executive D's facial expression turned into one of outrage that made Executive C cower behind her furious gaze.

"This is why I betted on the scenario where Executive E would lose." Spoke Executive J as he stared intently at the screen, hoping nothing too serious would happen. "He has never fought against a fallen angel, but only stray devils and monsters. His lack of knowledge and experience would be his undoing, no matter how strong he could be."

"Gah… GAHHH!" Howled Oyama as several pricks of needles made of light pierced several places in his body. Thankfully, he didn't feel any of his vitals stabbed, but then again it might be the adrenaline tricking his body to think that he was okay. It was so sudden that he missed it completely. One moment she was hunched over, and when Oyama was about to knock her to the ground, she suddenly threw her hands out, causing the light needles to pierce his body. Luckily, his instincts were strong enough to pull his forearms to cover his face, or else he would've lost all two eyeballs.

"Hah.. hahaha!" Laughed the fallen angel as she shakingly stood up from her crouching position.

"You're strong for a human, I'll admit that much." She spoke as Oyama spat a gob of blood from his mouth, while glaring at the fallen angel. "But did you really think your inferior species could match us? US?!"

"..." Oyama simply glared at her as he attempted to lift his arm up, but to his surprise, his right arm simply plopped down, unable to listen to the owner's will.

"Oh, don't worry too much." Sneered the fallen angel as her wings started to heal bit by bit. "I'm guessing some tendons were cut, but it would be nothing compared to what I'm about to do to you… But unfortunately, I can't play with you any longer."

She huffed in disappointment, before her expression turned into a scowl as a bright red light spear was created in her hands.

"Now bleed to death, scum."

"Aw man… I lost…" Whined Executive C, as he pouted, staring at the Japanese executive who was slowly bleeding out of several holes that adorned his body. Then, Executive E suddenly developed a worried face. "Uhh… boss, Executive E's going to be alright, right? Executive X is going to save him, right?"

"It's not over…" Hushed Executive D as she stared at the screen. "It's far from over."

"No, it's over." Spoke Executive J as he shook his head. "As the fallen angel said, his tendons and muscles are damaged to properly attack. In addition, his lack of use in his right arm makes his torso wide open, especially his right side. Lastly, he would have trouble standing up like that with that amount of blood dribbling from his wounds."

"And I'm telling you it's not over." Countered Executive D shaking her head. "You don't know who Executive E is. You don't know the lengths he would go to avoid losing and the strength he would muster to achieve victory. He's never the type to back down and play it safe. His stupid pride wouldn't let him do that. Whenever he's faced with a challenge he simply does his best to overcome it, which is a trait that I cannot help but respect."

Just as the fallen angel plunged her spear downwards Oyama immediately moved.

Raynare was surprised to see the human moving, even after all those injuries, but what baffled her more was that the human was moving forward. Forward to where the tip of her spear was aiming for the human's stomach. But even with this strange behavior of his, the fallen angel simply scoffed at the human.

'Pitiful trash…' She thought to herself, arrogant as ever. 'Now you realize just how feeble and weak you humans are. But don't expect a merciful death… I'll rip and tear every piece of flesh as you lie on the filthy ground bleeding until you—'

However, things didn't go according to what Raynare had in mind. Instead of being stabbed and writhing on the floor in pain, the human lunged and managed to lock his legs around Raynare's arms, stealing away her mobility of her upper body. Alas, such a bold move didn't come without a cost. A gaping hole was now visible in Executive E's abdomen, but he managed to twist his body in order to avoid the vitals.

It hurt so much for the high school teenager as blood began to pour out of his wound. It hurt more than anything he had experienced, since his King had made sure that during missions, the worst he would receive would be nothing more than a bruise or a shallow cut. But to have a spear made out of light pierce his abdomen? That would be the first.

But… the cost of pain was good enough. Good enough to earn victory for himself.

Grabbing the fallen angel's hair with his left arm, he forced Raynare to tilt her head upwards. Then, he headbutted her.

It was a barbaric and a desperate move, one that Executive E had never tried before in his life. But when he heard the sound of the nose breaking from the fallen angel, he knew that it was working. Holding steady onto her locks of black hair, he kept on bashing his head into the fallen angel's face, caving it in bit by bit. Even when the fallen angel lost her balance and hell to her back, Executive E kept on his brutal assault on the woman's face.

For a whole minute, Executive E never stopped his assault, nor did he ever loosen his locked legs as they started to strain from all the force he put into them. But a minute was all that Executive E could accomplish. Because he had swung his head nonstop, he was feeling dazed and had the urge to throw up and faint. His black hair was caked and matted in blood, mixed of the fallen angel's and his, and a small wound formed on his forehead from the bashing he had given to the angel.

Ears ringing loudly in his skull, Executive E finally let go of the strength he had been giving into his legs, allowing them to unlock themselves from the fallen angel's torso. Then, with a shaky breath he managed to stand up.

"Gotta… get this shit… treated…" He grunted as he started to make his way out of the place. "I need some string… then I can patch myself up… and an injection of nanobots would do the trick…"

"... oh you've got to be kidding me…"

Turning around, Executive E growled at the fallen angel who was slowly rising up like a zombie. With her pretty face replaced with a heavily bruised and battered one, she looked more like a crazed bitch than before. Staring at the teenager with pure hatred, a red light spear was once again created with the fallen angel's magic.

"Heh… really?" Growled Executive E, giving her a deranged smile that slowly crept up to his lips. "Really?! One more time?! You sure?!"

"You… filthy… HUMAN!" Screeched Raynare, her wings spreading into the sky as she took off into the night, her spear raised high. Then, wrapped her wings around her body, she plunged downwards her spear ready to plunge into Executive E's abdomen again.

"One more time, eh?! ONE MORE TIME?! ONE MORE TIME?!"

Clenching his left fist, Executive E reared back, ready to throw his punch.

But before neither could land their blows, another meddler showed up. With a sudden blast of demonic light, the fallen angel was blown away while Oyama's fist hurled into nothing.

"ARGGG!" Screamed the fallen angel as her eyes widened in fear. "D-DEVILS! DAMN YOU ALL! YOU'LL ALL PAY! ONE DAY, YOU'LL ALL PAY!"

With the bitch flying away from him Oyama could finally turn his attention to the newcomers and his eyes widened when he recognized them.

"Rias… Gremory…" He coughed as he instinctively took a defensive stance. Although he knew he was safe in the hands of the devil, which was a huge irony, he wasn't quite sure his humanity would stay intact.

"Ooooo-yaaaaa-maaaa!" Came the cry of Hyoudou as he rushed towards then stopping abruptly as he stared in horror at Oyama's mangled form. "Oh my God… oh my God! Gremory senpai! Please, help him! He saved me from Y-Yuuma, and I don't want him to die! Please! Save him!"

Glancing around, he noticed the devil's peerage that had gathered around. Himejima Akeno, Toujou Koneko, and Kiba Yuuto, all of them were present and if they were to fight, Oyama wouldn't barely have any chance. Then, as Rias Gremory raised her hand towards Oyama, he immediately showed hostility while panting hard.

By the look of it, it seemed that Hyoudou had unintentionally called upon them. Apparently his bleeding sides had covered the summoning pamphlet with blood and his wish that he howled at the sky was answered by Gremory. But was this a good scenario for him? He… he didn't know.

"Calm down now Oyama-kun." Giggled Himejima as she stared at the wounded teenager. "Buchou is simply casting a minor healing spell for you."

True enough, Oyama felt the bleedings coming to a stop, but the large wound in his stomach was still there.

"Quite an accomplishment…" Whispered Rias Gremory as she stared at Oyama with deep interest. "To fight against a fallen angel with your fists alone. You're quite an interesting boy, Oyama-kun."

".. pht." Spitting out a glob of blood, Oyama stumbled for a moment before he gained his balance. Then, as if nothing had happened, he started to make his way home.

"E-eh? Oyama! You can't go now! We need to take you to a hospital! You still… you still have a hole in your…!"

"I don't need it." Grumbled Oyama as he held up a hand to stop Hyoudou from following him. "I just need some string and a good rest… will probably skip school for this week."

"What?" Spoke Hyoudou dumbfounded. "D-don't try and play it cool, Oyama! This is serious!"

"Hyoudou-kun is right, you know?" Spoke Rias Gremory as she took a step forward. "I don't understand your hostility, but you can trust us. I promise we're here to help you. After all, that's why we're here in the first place."

Seeing that Hyoudou or the devils would leave him be, he simply grumbled. After all, it was Hyoudou who summoned them. Whatever consequences there were for helping him, it was Hyoudou who was going to pay the price. Although he felt bad for Hyoudou who was going to pay…

Wait… should he feel bad for Hyoudou? Clearly the devils were trying to use this situation to recruit the pervert, but… wouldn't that make him happier than ever? Surrounded by pretty girls?

Whatever. He wanted to go home.

"You guys want to help me? Fine. Carry me home then. My legs are killing me right now."

(The King POV)

"Damn… those devils interfered before the results came out…" Groaned Executive C as we kept watching the scene unfolding in front of our eyes. "But… I'm kind of glad that they did. I was really worried for Executive E, you know?"

"Indeed." I nodded my head seriously. "Although I'm curious to see what would've happened, it was too dangerous for Executive E to continue. If the devils weren't summoned by Hyoudou Issei, I would've sent Executive X to finish the fallen angel off. Well… thankfully everything played out nicely. And obviously the bet is null. None of us predicted the outcome correctly after all."

"Should we go then, my King?" Asked Executive D as she stood up. In her hands, she had already made several healing talismans and was ready to use them at the moment's notice.

"Yes. We should greet Executive E and tend him as soon as he gets to his home. Executive J? Would you mind teleporting us?"

"It would be my pleasure." Spoke Executive J smiling. "Go ahead please. Hyangdan and I will catch up later after we check out of this hotel. And… one question if I may ask."

"Yes, Executive J?"

"Why did you believe that Executive E would win?"

"... well… because I wanted him to. The thought that he would lose didn't sit well with me, nor did it feel right in my mouth. I knew how hard Executive E trained to attain that much strength and skill. I knew how much he bled to become strong. To say that he was going to lose would be the same as dismissing all of his efforts, and I really didn't want to do such a thing."

"... you're still the same as ever aren't you." Whispered Executive J as he smiled brightly at me, the same smile that he used every time we used to play together in the backyard of my foster father's mansion. But of course this action brought another disapproved stare from Executive D. Sorry, sorry. I'll try not to play favorites.

(3rd Person POV)

Oyama was seething inside his mind.

With the continuous healing spells that slowly mended his body and the adrenaline wearing off, he was downright pissed. That fallen angel… that damned fallen angel! He couldn't fault the devils for butting in, nor could he blame Hyoudou for summoning them. All that he blamed currently, was his weak self.

Although he was considered to be one of the weakest executives in the Human Faction, he had confidence that he could take on an average fallen angel at least. But to receive such injuries… it hurt his pride to the extreme.

Even when he also gave the fallen angel substantial damage as well, Oyama convinced himself that it was all because the fallen angel was haughty and played around, believing him to be a weak human. Her pride was the reason his fists were able to reach her. Her pride was the reason he was able to bash his head into her skull. Her pride was the only reason why he was on par with that creature. If she was cold and calculated just as he was, he would've died within a few minutes.

But he didn't. And neither did the fight between him and the fallen angel finish, making it a draw between them. However, in the depths of Oyama's heart, it felt as if he had lost.

Currently, he was being carried by the white Nekotama on her back. Although Oyama couldn't see any muscles on her, she had the strength to lift him up as if he weighed like paper. Gnashing his teeth again, he began to wonder if he could win against this kouhai. Although she was a Nekotama and a devil hybrid, the fact that this small petite girl that was younger than him was stronger than him didn't sit well with Oyama.

There was only one way to rectify his troubled mind.

Training. Training hard and continuously until he could beat that fallen angel completely. After that… he was going to set his bar higher and higher, until he was considered to be one of the strongest executives.

"We've arrived, Oyama-kun." Purred Himejima into Oyama's ear, which earned the devil a hot glare from Oyama.

"Ara, ara~ What a scary face you have." Giggled Himejima as she brought her hand to her cheek. Then with a blush and eyes full of lust, she stared down at the teenager, then whispered in his ear.

"I just wish I could break it~"

"Now, now, don't bully your kouhai Akeno-chan." Chided Rias Gremory coming to Oyama's rescue. "Oyama-kun has had a rough day, and what he needs is rest like he had said. But Oyama-kun, are you sure you don't need any more assistance? You are in a bad shape, and if you're really unlucky you might die tonight."

"Like I said." Spoke Oyama stubbornly. "All I need is some string and a good night's sleep."

"Very well then. I hope you understand what you're doing." Spoke Rias Gremory, with a slight unease on her face. "When you've recovered completely, you are invited to come to the Occult Research Club. In there we can explain everything that has happened to you… or are you already familiar with the supernatural world?"

"... You can say that." Murmured Oyama and Koneko set him down on the ground. This time he didn't stumble, but held his ground.

"Well then, just in case, take the flyer, Oyama-kun." Spoke Rias Gremory as she pulled out one of her flyers. "You can call us whenever you need us."

After a few seconds of wordless thinking, Oyama accepted the flyer with a stiff nod. Then, pulling out his door key from his pocket, he disappeared into the empty house after he stiffly said his goodbyes to the devils and Hyoudou.

"W-will he be alright Gremory senpai…? I know he's strong and tough, but… he has a hole in his body… a big one too…"

"Truthfully, I don't know Hyoudou-kun." Spoke Rias Gremory as she stared at the house before turning her attention to her intended prize. "He will survive for sure due to my healing spells, but I cannot say the same for full recovery. But whatever happens to Oyama Sugihara, it's because of his own volitions, not ours."

"I-I see…" Mumbled Hyoudou as he let out a shaky breath.

Before this incident, Hyoudou hated and feared the dark haired prince of Kuoh academy. His hate was justified because Oyama Sugihara was considered an enemy of all men as he attracted half of the Kuoh females with his looks and charisma. Together with his allies, Motohama and Matsuda, they had tried to take down Oyama Sugihara, but… the sheer charisma behind his blazing eyes planted fear in their hearts to even get close to him. In the end, they switched their plans of terrorism to Kiba Yuuto out of fear, but failed every time.

But to see the cool bastard sticking his neck out for somebody he clearly hated… Hyoudou Issei knew that Oyama was a good guy and he didn't wish to see a good guy die because of him. It wasn't right, and he felt so useless and guilty for bringing him into this mess. So he had yelled at the top of his lungs for anybody to help Oyama as he ran away, clutching his wound as blood dribbled out of it.

Now, with Rias Gremory's help, the situation with Yuuma and Oyama was dealt with. Now, there was the problem with Rias Gremory. With thousands of questions at the tip of Hyoudou Issei's tongue, the pervert blurted out loud.

"B-but, Gremory senpai, what are you?"

"Oh. Haven't you figured it out Hyoudou-kun?" Spoke Rias Gremory, her gorgeous body moving with those amazing breasts.

"I'm a devil."

Tonight was going to be a long night for Hyoudou Issei.

"Stupidity, Executive E!" Scolded Executive D as she began to apply her healing talismans to his wounds as the poor teenager flinched at Executive D's touch. "What you have done was pure stupidity! You should've called for backup immediately!"

"... good to see you again, Nagisa Midori." Grunted Executive E as he relaxed, feeling the shinto magic doing its thing as it began to patch him up. "You're still the same as ever, huh?"

"Formality, please!" Spoke Executive D sharply as she applied the last one. Then, she turned her attention to her King. "He'll be healed by tomorrow my lord. But I suggest he takes off school for the rest of the week, just in case."

"That would be for the best." Commented the King, smiling lightly. Then, although the small smile never left his face, Oyama Sugihara flinched when the King's eyes flickered towards him with a disapproving glare.

"Keep in mind Executive E. This is the last time I will respect and allow your pride to overcome your own health. I do hope next time you will be wise and call for backup the moment you realize you're driven into a corner."

"Y-yes my King." Spoke Executive E, lowering his gaze as he felt another prick in his heart as he bit his lower lip.

"But still… Good job Executive E."

"M-my King…?"

"Don't misunderstand me. I'm still disappointed that you valued your pride over your own life, but I still have to congratulate you on driving that fallen angel to such a poor state." Spoke the man as he crossed his legs. "Even when your opponent was stronger than you from birth and had more advantages, you used your technique and skills to close the gap that was between you and her. Once again, good job Executive E."

"... thank you." Muttered the tsundere.

"Well, with that said, take a rest. With all this mess the fallen angel had caused, I'm sure Grigori will have nothing to say if I take care of that fallen angel."

"W-wait! I-I can still fight! Let me finish my fight with that fallen—"

"I said this is the last time I will respect your pride." Came the stern voice of the King. His face no longer carried his carefree smile, but an emotionless face as his eyes dared Executive E to argue back. "Sit back down Executive E. Your personal wishes and feelings are now irreverent to this case. What matters is that the longer these fallen angels are to do as they please, the more casualties would arise, and it is our responsibility to stop that."

"Will you be needing assistance?" Asked Executive X, stepping up.

"... no. I'm going to take this matter into my own hands." Said the King as a jade colored robe began to materialize over his black hanbok, protecting its owner from all physical attacks. "It's a good time to take a stroll in the park anyways."

(The King POV)

Although I could've burst through the church within seconds, I took my time to get there, walking slowly and observing the scenery around me. One might think that I was doing this out of my lazy and arrogant attitude, but in reality, I was simply stalling. Stalling for what I was about to do when I stepped inside that church.

I was going to commit murder, something that I hope would never get easy.

Snuffing out the lives of others who had no time to resist or those who had the time to beg felt sick, no matter how evil they were. An unpleasant stench rose within my stomach every time I had to end the life of a living being, and a strong toxic aftertaste lasted in the back of my tongue, which prevented me from enjoying my meal for weeks. At night, I wouldn't have nightmares, but instead, I would have trouble falling asleep as I would toss and turn on my bed, replaying of the scenes of my acts of murder. The details of that moment would sluggishly pass before my eyes, as I could even make out a small speck of bone that came out of my victims, and the voices that begged for mercy would ring within me.

It's for the greater good.

They were evil.

Innocents would've died if they continued to live.

Those were the excuses I came up with. Those were the words I used to convince myself to go to sleep without any worries. But they didn't work. Every time the words were repeated I could feel them going hollow by the passing second. At one point, I even considered erasing my sentiments to proceed with my goals with more efficiency.

But I knew I couldn't do that and nor could I stop with what I started.

Considering my goal, I wasn't going to stop with murder anytime soon. And even if I gave up on my goals because I couldn't handle the act of killing anymore, it meant that humanity was going to be bare and unprotected by other beings, which basically meant that I was going to turn a blind eye to countless lives that were in potential danger all the time.

So, I had decided that I was going to remember the faces and the names of those I have slaughtered. Everyday, before I went to sleep, I would go through the faces and names of those that had died by my hands. Although some faces invoked a prick of anger for reminding me what they had done, they contributed in helping me to fall into a dreamless sleep. And today… more were about to go up on the list.

Strangely, nobody had intercepted me when I was a few steps away from the abandoned church that was located in the small hill of Kuoh. But when I entered…

"Oi, oi, oi! Mister, you know you're not allowed to be in here, right~?!"

Ah, Freed Sellzen. The rogue exorcist was sitting on top of the windowsill and had his gun out, held loose in his right hand as he grinned like a maniac who discovered his next victim. Although I had forgotten about when I realized what this world was, thanks to Vasco Strada's list of rogue exorcists I remembered his existence in this strange world.

"Where are the fallen angels?" I asked politely, closing the door behind me. "I believe that my… executive happened to injure her a lot."

"Eh? Wait a minute. That guy who hurt Raynare was one of your lackeys? Hah! This is great!" Then, jumping off the windowsill, the crazed human called for the fallen angels. "Oi~! Raynare, there's a human who wants to meet you~! It seems like he knows where the other human is~!"

It only took a couple of seconds for the fallen angels to appear.

Mittelt and Kalawarner took my left and right.

Dohnaseek appeared from my back, securing the only way out.

And Raynare, with a few dozen human followers, came up from the podium.

"Your wounds aren't treated perfectly, now have they?" I spoke, keeping up with my 'kind person' persona. "I can still see a bruise on your right eye…"

"SILENCE WORM!" Screeched Raynare as a red light spear formed in her right hand. "You… YOU WILL TELL ME WHERE THAT FILTHY HUMAN IS! THAT… THAT WRETCHED HUMAN WHO DARED TO LAY HIS HANDS ON ME!"

"... I cannot do that. It's my job as a leader to protect my subordinates, you know?"

"I don't know if he's just stupid or… well, stupid." Giggled Mittelt from my left. "Oh! Or does he have a death wish? Hahahaha!"

"Hurry up and subdue him already. We can torture and fish out information of where that damned human is. I can't wait to stab him to death." Seethed Dohnaseek from my right.

"Oh, let's play for a bit. This foolish human over here and the human who hurt Raynare won't be going nowhere, and even if those devils dare interfere again…" Kalawarner stretched her wings as she glowered at me. "We'll kill them too."

In the meantime, I let out a shaky breath, preparing myself for what I was going to do. It'll be over within a second… and yet, it'll remain as an eternity to me. With my heart resolved, I opened my eyes and activated my Sacred Gear.

For a fraction of 0.12 seconds, the gravity increased 500 times its original gravitational force.

All around me, the splatting noises of flesh being squished, the grinding noises of bone turning into sand, and the crunching noises of the wooden planks rang across the once holy place.

Blood splattered all over the place, covering the broken cross, the broken sculptures, the unpolished church pews, my robes, and two individuals who weren't affected by the sudden increase of gravity, while everybody turned into lumps of deceased gore, now only five times thicker than a pancake.

"... eh…?" Came the little squeak from the young fallen angel named Mittelt. Although I do not know her exact age, nor do I know if she could make herself appear younger than others, her young appearance was what saved her. If I had to choose one of the fallen angels to live, I felt obliged to have the youngest live instead of the mature ones.

"... oi… what the fuck… WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!" Screeched Freed Sellzen as his pupils shrunk even more as he began to tremble as he looked around him, only to see his once companions now nothing but deceased unrecognizable bodies. Taking a step back, he flinched as a squelching noise was made. Then, with a panicked yelp, he slipped and landed in the mass of gore, covering not only his knees, but his buttocks and arms in the sea of blood.

"Please do not misunderstand that I decided to let you two live out of mercy." I spoke with a forlorn look on my face, ignoring the hysterical screaming from the fallen angel who screamed at the sight of her dead comrades, and the hyperventilating rogue exorcist as he fumbled on his gun, accidentally biting his tongue in the process, causing it to bleed.

"The reason for your survival is because… my faction happened to require samples of a female fallen angel and the DNA sequence of a… successful test-tube baby."

Smiling a bit, I closed my eyes as my robes protected me from the bullets that were shot in my direction as Freed Sellzen. Even my head, that appeared to be bare of any attire, was protected by it. Thus, a light bullet that was specifically aimed at my forehead simply bounced off harmlessly on the wooden floor.

"Please, brace yourselves." I warned before I activated my Sacred Gear again.

Now, I hope this is better than the original one. I will be keeping the original one, for readers who find the other fanfiction to be more interesting, but keep in mind that the original story has been abandoned. I will be working on this fanfiction and hopefully, see its end. Hopefully I'll survive till then.

So yeah. One of the largest changes is that the King, isn't Hyoudou Issei's brother or related in any other way. This time, we have a Korean orphan, being raised by the hands of one of the strongest human magicians Jeon Jaesan.

And... another big change...

...

The MC is going to have a harem unlike the original one. Well... most likely I guess, romance isn't the main plot after all so this claim isn't 100% permanent. With the plot I have in mind, I think there's a high chance that he might get one in the end. Eh, I'll make it up as I move forward.

So stick around, comment about this fic, and if you liked it enough, smash that follow and fav button. This is one of the fanfics that got me into fanfiction, and I am not going to stop until it meets its end.

And hopefully, y'all would enjoy reading it as much as me.

Edit: Sorry y'all. I thought I put in the spacings. Apparently, it did not, which ultimately confused the heck out of all of you. I'm sorry for that.

Edit 2: Next time I'll try and lessen the POV changes. Sorry for confusing the heck out of all of you people.
