Part Two of my Healing Hearts Saga. I would strongly recommend reading part 1 first, entitled 'The Beginning'. This segment of the story spans over the entirety of the quest for Erebor and a little bit after.

Post BOTFA Fix-it! AU. Bilbo returns to Erebor but not all is fun and games. There is a foul plot afoot to upset the balance in the mountain. But between Dwarflings, idiots in love, and prank wars, will they discover it in time and will Bilbo win the king's heart for good?

Everyone knows the tale of Bilbo Baggins and the Quest for Erebor. But what if Gandalf decided that respectable Mr. Baggins wasn't the best hobbit for the job?
