Buffy has returned home, and her friends are throwing her a Welcome Home party, but she's not at all sure how welcome she really is. Written for Challenge #181: Party at fan flashworks. Spoilers for Season 3 episode Dead Man's Party.

When Dracula called Buffy 'kindred', he was doing more than just saying they had a lot in common. Hungry for knowledge of her power, Buffy didn't realize what kind of connection he had forged with her. Hoping to break his hold over her, Buffy requests help from Spike. However, the way you break the hold of one vampire is to let another one possess you more fully...

Spike and Lucy are back in town and the gang's expecting the worst. But when Lucy turns out to be protective of her family and Spike seems happy to follow her lead, Buffy thinks things might not be so bad. She should've remembered this is Sunnydale. (Sequel to Let the Wrong One In. Reminder that this is an AU.)

(Rewrite) Cordelia Chase has broken up with Xander Harris after finding him kissing Willow Rosenberg, in a fit of rage wished for the boy to never have existed. Arriving in Sunnydale ready to start a new life as a normal teenager, Buffy discovered she wasn't the only one who dealt with strange events and that maybe it wasn't all bad, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something had been listening when she'd wished for a vacation.

Sunnydale has four schools. The Initiatives and Slayers are human, and the Blood Suckers and Freaky Fangs are vampire. Everyone's made it to their senior year and bad stuff happens. -Vampires are not evil.
