A/N (Important, Please Read): Hey there, everybody, and welcome back to Ultimate Omniverse! Before we get into this chapter, there are a couple things that I want to get out of the way first. As you guys know, I've been on a bi-weekly schedule for this story, namely because I've also been hard at work on another fic that I've been working on; "Transformers MHA, Arc 1: Bumblebee" and have been alternating between the two stories. That said, I think you guys will be excited to hear that we'll be going back to the weekly format soon, because next week, "Transformers MHA" will be concluding with its 20th chapter, bringing the first arc to a close. …Yes, this coming from the guy whose first story was 120 chapters long. Hehe…

But, more to the point, while I WILL be returning to "Transformers MHA" in the future (again, so that I can avoid getting burnt out by changing things up a little), my main focus going forward will be strictly Ben 10 RWBY. Hopefully over the summer and fall, we'll be able to witness some awesome adventures from our favorite team of heroes as they contend with whatever Ben's world has to offer! All that's left to say is… well, if you haven't yet, go check out Transformers MHA! I really had fun writing that story and I think many of you will have a fun time reading it. Now, let's get on with the chapter, shall we? This is…

Chapter 8: Hot CFVY

…..

Cooper Daniels had never been so nervous in his entire life. A part of him was genuinely wishing that he HAD gone on that mission with Ben and the others, but he knew that once they left the airport, it was too late. Honestly? Having to fight a bunch of crazy cultists on a rescue mission sounded like a cake walk compared to what he had to do next. Because at the moment, he was sitting inside of a car in front of a suburban home, one that he recognized all too well. And while it DID give him a lot of comfort seeing it again, it also filled him with existential dread. There were two people in that house that he wanted to see… but at the same time, was apprehensive about seeing them again. And all because…

"Yo, Tech Head, we gonna head in an' see your parents or what?"

…He was going to introduce his girlfriend to them. Cooper sighed and rested his head against the dashboard of Coco's roadster, still trying to muster up the confidence to do this. "Yeah, yeah, we are… I'm just fearing how this'll all go. This is all kind of new for me, if I'm being honest."

Fox raised a brow in the backseat. "What? Having friends over to see your parents?"

"No… well, kind of." Cooper explained. "Ben, Gwen, Kevin and the Helpers have been over plenty of times, but we're all in the Plumbers and have known each other for a while. This is… different." He craned his head around and smiled toward his new team. "I've known you guys for about three weeks now, and you're all some the best friends I've ever had…" He then glanced over to Coco and his cheeks flushed. "A-And one of you is even more so."

"Aw, that's sweet of you to say, Cooper!" Velvet grinned back. "You're a very good friend to us, too!"

Coco sent her boyfriend wink. "Yeah, no doubt, babe… but I'm still kinda confused at what you're trying to get at."

Cooper laced his fingers together. "Well… like I've told you guys, I wasn't really the most popular kid. Growing up, I never had many friends, so… this is probably the first time I've had friends over who're OUTSIDE the Plumber group." He set his sights over to Coco. "Not to mention, I'm going to be introducing YOU to them. Coco, you're literally the first girlfriend I've had, so… yeah, this is uncharted territory."

The fashionista pursed her lips at that. "Hm, you've got a point, Tech Head." A sheepish smile came to her face. "And, heh… to be perfectly honest, I've dated plenty of people who were nervous to bring me home to their parents in the past, so I get where you're coming from. But…" She leaned over and gave him a peck on the cheek. "I can promise you right now that you won't have nothing to worry about. From what I've heard of your parents, they seem like nice people, so don't be scared to introduce me or the rest of us to them."

"Indeed." Yatsu nodded as he, Fox and Velvet sent Cooper reassuring smiles. "We will be right by your side every step of the way, Cooper. I'm sure that everything will go fine."

Cooper shifted his eyes between everyone, the confidence in their eyes slowly helping to boost his own. The blonde genius took a deep breath and opened the passenger side door, signaling for the others to open theirs as well. "Alright… let's do this." The five got out and Cooper made his way around the car. "Alright, I'll break the ice since they'll probably be all over me. Then I'll introduce you guys, okay?"

"Sounds like a plan." Fox affirmed.

Velvet gave him a thumbs up. "Good luck, Cooper."

Cooper nodded to them and faced the front of the house, making his way up the walkway and to the door. He took one last moment to steady himself… and then rang the doorbell. Inside, he heard a woman call out; "Honey, I'll get it!" to someone inside, to which Cooper winced.

'Oh boy, better brace for impact.' A moment after that, the door opened up, revealing a woman who was about a head shorter than Cooper. She appeared to be in her late thirties and had long, straight blonde hair that went down just past her shoulders, a pair of pretty hazel eyes, and her cheeks were covered in freckles. She wore a gold necklace around her neck that had a pendant on it, a bracelet around her right wrist, and a sky-blue top with white, horizontal stripes. She had on blue jeans that went down to her shin and a pair of sky blue and white sneakers that matched her top. And on top of that, she was wearing a pair of glasses as well… and she was holding a platter with two tall, acrylic cups full of lemonade.

She didn't see Cooper at first, so she just started speaking to him. "Yes, hello, how my I… help…" the woman slowly trailed off when her eyes saw Cooper, her voice catching in her throat as he waved to him.

"Heh… hi mom." The woman's grip of the platter loosened up and it fell out of her hand, and Cooper's eyes widened immediately. "GAH!" He caught the cups of lemonade, allowing the plate to clatter to the ground. With a sigh, Cooper stood up straight and let out a laugh. "Hah, w-well, that was close—"

"AAAAAAHH!" All of a sudden, his mother let out a scream and she immediately latched onto him, almost making him drop the lemonade anyway. He could already feel his mother's tears of joy dampening his shirt. "COOPER! Sweetheart, I can't believe your home! Connor, GET OUT HERE!"

All of a sudden, another voice shouted from inside the house. "WHAT?! Clara, are you serious?!" From around the corner, a man sprinted from another room, clad in a salmon-colored shirt, a pair of khaki shorts, and a set of brown sneakers. He appeared to be in his early forties and was slightly taller than Cooper. His hair was a deep brown and messy, which extended to the short beard and mustache on his face. His eyes were bright blue, which matched Cooper's perfectly, and he had a similar build to the younger man as well. One glance at him and it was easy to tell who he was, especially when he saw Cooper and he uttered the word; "…Son." whilst smiling from ear to ear.

"Heh, hey dad." Cooper chuckled as he lifted his arms, holding out the lemonade as his mom continued to cry. "Mind helping me out with this?"

"Hah, of course." Connor came over, grabbed the lemonade out of his son's hands, and put it on a table near the door… and then immediately spread his arms out. "Now come on and bring it in!"

Cooper deadpanned a bit at that. "Of course—oof!" All at once, his father joined in, bringing his wife and son in for a big group hug. The genius eventually resigned to his face and leaned in on it. "Heh… it's good to be home."

Clara sniffled a bit as she brought her eyes up to meet her son's, reaching up to touch his face. "Oh, sweetheart we're so happy to SEE you home…" She trailed off when she saw what Cooper was wearing. It was nothing like the signature jersey he so often wore. No, rather, it was a pair of jeans, some knee-high black boots with knee pads, a grey undershirt and a purple leather jacket with the number 3 emblazoned on his right pectoral. "…And my goodness, you've got QUITE the wardrobe change since you left."

"Damn, no kidding." Connor agreed, inspecting the attire himself. "Coop, son, you're looking pretty sharp there!"

The blonde genius rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Heh, thanks. I, uh… felt the need to change things up a bit, and I had a lot of help putting this outfit together."

"Oh, that's wonderful." Clara said before sighing and hugging her son once again. "I'm just so happy you're home, honey. After the explosion, we feared the worst."

"She's right, son." Connor set his hand on Cooper's shoulder. "For a week and a half, we wondered if you and the others had… well… you know." His and Clara's smiles brightened up as he continued. "But then, when Agent Six told us about where you guys really were… we were both relieved and pretty shocked at the same time."

"Y-Yes, you were in some world where… I think he said there were creatures called "Grimm" there?" Clara pursed her lips in thought. "A-And I remember hearing something about "Huntsmen" as well."

Cooper nodded at that. "Yeah, you're on the right track, mom. I'll fill you in on more details soon, but the big take away from all this is that it was one heck of an adventure." He began listing events off on his fingers. "I fought creatures of darkness in another world, I made an awesome set of armor to fight those creatures, helped defend that world against evil, and… w-well, I made quite a few new friends, too."

Both of his parents brightened up at that. "W-What? REALLY?!" Clara exclaimed. "Oh, Cooper, honey, that's fantastic!"

"Haha! No kidding!" Connor gave his son a pat on the back. "Good on ya, Coop! I actually DID hear that you, Ben and the others had met some people who helped you out over there." But after he said that, a saddened frown came to his face. "Oh… wait, did… did you have to leave them behind?"

"Uh… actually no." Cooper shook his head. "What would give you that idea? But on that note…" Cooper broke away from his parents and stepped aside, revealing Team CFVY to his parents as he gestured to the four of them. "I brought them along so you could meet them."

He saw both his mom and dad's jaws go slack as Team CFVY came strolling up, with Clara uttering; "W-W-What in the…"

"Hiya!" Coco waved immediately. "So, you're Tech Head's parents, huh? Nice to finally meet ya." She raised a brow to Cooper and nudged him with her elbow again. "You gonna do some formal introductions, Coop, or should we do 'em ourselves?"

"Oh, don't worry, I've got it." Cooper said with a wink before gesturing to his mom and dad. "Guys, these are my parents; Clara and Connor." He then faced his parents and provided introductions for them as well. "And mom, dad, this is Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina, and Yatsuhashi Daichi from Beacon Academy. They're all Hunters-in-training who're collectively known as "Team CFVY". I've been mostly hanging around with them for the past few of weeks."

However… his parents were still stunned into silence, leaving Cooper and the rest of the team confused. Yatsu bent over and whispered to Cooper. "Uh… are they okay?"

"I, uh… don't know." Cooper admitted before reaching out to shake their shoulders. "Mom, dad!"

Clara was the first to snap out of her stupor, shaking her head and letting out a gasp. "Ah! O-Oh, sorry, honey. It's just… this is FAR from what we expected."

Connor ran a hand through his hair as he scanned his eyes across the group of young hunters, evaluating them individually. "She does have a point, son. I-I mean, how could we have expected—"

Yatsu raised his hand. "Someone as tall as a bean pole?"

Velvet put her hands behind her back with a sheepish face. "A girl with bunny ears?"

Fox crossed his arms. "A blind guy with scars on every inch of his body?"

Coco smirked and raised a brow, lowering her sunglasses so she could look Cooper's parents straight in the eyes. "And a gal with a killer fashion sense?"

"…Yes, yes, actually." Connor admitted, though he quickly added; "B-But believe me, I-I'm not trying to offend you or anything, i-it's just that—"

"Mr. D, don't worry, we get it." Coco said with a wave of her hand. "Trust me, we know that we all stand out here on Earth. We realized that as soon as we got to the world. But believe me when I say we don't really give a crap about that."

"In all honesty, the people of Earth have truly been quite accepting of us so far on this planet." Velvet continued as she lightly pulled on one of her rabbit ears. "Just yesterday, we were in Bellwood fighting off an invasion of robots, and everyone loved seeing us fight them off. Even me, which was quite the shock since where we come from, my kind aren't exactly widely respected."

Clara immediately took note of that. "Wait… what do you mean by that?"

Yatsu cleared his throat and explained. "Ahem, well… you see, Velvet is what is known as a "Faunus". They're beings in our world who are like humans, but with the only difference being the addition of random animal parts on their bodies. Tails, ears, claws, teeth, etcetera." Yatsu set his gaze over to see Velvet eyeing the ground sheepishly. "And… let's just say that many humans aren't exactly fond of Faunus. Things ARE getting better, but there's still a long way to go before Faunus and humanity in our world can coexist peacefully."

Both Clara and Connor were left stunned by that. "Damn… that's terrible." Connor said with a shake of his head. "Believe me, our world has dealt with things like that before… and even still today. And in all cases, it's just an awful thing to be put through."

"You poor dear!" Clara stepped forward and took a hold of Velvet's hands, much to her surprise. "Well, I can safely say that you won't have to deal with that here, Velvet." She smiled kindly to the bunny girl and bowed her head. "You're Cooper's friend, and in our home, you're more than welcome. In fact, ALL of you are."

Velvet slowly smiled back. "Oh, why thank you! That means quite a lot, Mrs. Daniels."

"My pleasure." Clara said before cocking her head to the side. "Though, I do have one question… if you're from another world, how is it that you have an Australian accent?"

"…Australian accent?" Velvet repeated before facing Cooper. "I thought someone said I was British the other day?"

Cooper could only shrug. "Well… I will admit it could be either. It's not exactly distinguishable."

"Ah, Australian, British, either way, Vel has one heck of a cute accent." Coco said, successfully giving Velvet a sheepish face. She then eyed Cooper and, once again, nudged him with her elbow, giving him a knowing smirk. "Ahem, so… Tech Head. You gonna tell your mom and dad about you-know-what?"

This got both Clara and Connor's attention in an instant. "Hm? What's she talking about, son?" Connor asked.

Cooper winced and laughed nervously, his sights drifting over to Coco. "Hehe… w-well, I WAS going to wait until we were all inside and sat down so no one would freak out."

"…Oh." Coco uttered with a wince of her own. "Right, I get ya. Sorry, Coop." Her smirk returned with gusto as she inched herself closer to Cooper. "I just thought you'd wanna break it to 'em nice and quick, like a band-aid, ya know?"

"Heh, yeah, I get what you're saying." Cooper agreed, though he was still visibly shaking at the thought. "B-Better to just get it out in the open, r-right?"

"Cooper, sweetheart, what ARE you and Coco talking about?" Clara asked as she gazed toward her son in concern. "There's nothing WRONG, is there? No bad news, I hope."

The blonde genius quickly shook his head, denying the claim. "W-What? No, no, of course not, mom. Everything's fine… in fact, you could argue that it's even MORE than fine, really." Cooper swallowed hard, planted his feet and faced his parents head on. "Th-The truth is, m-mom and dad… Coco is… w-well, she's kinda… I-I mean, w-we're sort of—"

"I'm dating your son." Coco said so bluntly that it felt like a hammer being dropped, leaving both Clara and Connor utterly astonished in the process.

The same went for Cooper, too, who was staring at her incredulously. "…I was getting to it." he said innocently.

Coco pat her boyfriend's cheek and gave him a wink. "Sorry, babe, but I could tell you needed that little extra push. Remember, it's all about confidence."

"Fair point, but…" Cooper's eyes slowly trailed over to his parents, and things with them were going just as he thought they would. His father was still slack-jawed, but a smile was slowly making its way to his face, his eyes filled with pride. And his mother… well, she was quickly starting to break down. Her face was becoming red as tears of joy began welling up in her eyes, her hands covering her mouth as small sobs escaped her throat. "…Oh jeez, brace yourselves."

"AAAAAAAHHH!" Clara gave out a loud cry before bolting forward, once again pulling Cooper into a desperate yet excited embrace. The only difference? She got Coco caught up in it as well. Her sobs increased as she held both of them close to her, with Coco wearing a rather surprised face. It took a few moments for Clara to finally get some words out, and when they did, they were belted out at full volume. "My… MY BABY BOY FINALLY HAS A GIRLFRIEND!"

"…Oh, THIS is what you were worried about." Coco realized.

"Yeah, pretty much." Cooper nodded before gently bringing his mother out of the embrace, holding her gently by her shoulders. "Heh… mom, it's okay. I know that this is a pretty big moment—"

"U-Understatement of the year, honey." Clara interrupted, wiping her eyes as she tried to compose herself. "This is… this is just so unexpected. My little boy has a girlfriend… that still feels so foreign for me to say."

Connor finally stepped over and put a hand on his son's shoulder. "Hat to say it son, but she has a point. We honestly thought you'd hold that torch for Gwen until she finally got married to Kevin, but damn, were we wrong."

Cooper couldn't help but deadpan at that. "Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, pops."

Clara smirked and raised a brow to her son. "Cooper, sweetie, I know it might sound a bit harsh… but come on, we ALL knew how bad you had it for Gwen." Cooper shifted his eyes away with a guilty face, causing Clara to chuckle a little. "Hmhm, see? Mother's always right. But let's not focus on the past right now. Because now…" She faced Coco and let out a shaky breath, smiling to the young woman across from her. "Now, you've brought this lovely young lady home."

Coco couldn't help but blush at the compliment, twirling her highlighted lock of hair with her finger. "Aw, shucks. Listen, Mrs. D, I know that this was probably the last thing that you expected to happen today, but I just want to let you know that—"

"Sweetheart, please…" Clara held her hand up. "If it isn't too much trouble, could you take off your sunglasses?"

"…Uh, sure." Coco removed her sunglasses and locked eyes with the older woman… who was now staring back with a neutral expression. The fashionista was initially confused, but then decided to go with the flow and simply stare back, putting on a confident face.

After a few more moments of searching Coco's eyes, Clara broke out into a massive grin and said; "Hm, that's that, then." And then, without warning, she brought Coco into a joyous hug, surprising the younger girl once again. "Sweetheart, I want you to bring yourself and your team into the house right away. We have a LOT of things to talk about."

"W-Wait…" Coco was still very perplexed as to what happened. "What was all that about just now?"

"Hmhm…" Clara chortled a little as she explained. "Coco, I just wanted to be sure that you had no ill intent in being with my son. And by the look in your eyes and with the amount of confidence you carry yourself with, I can see that your feelings for my son are one-hundred percent genuine."

"And… you can tell that just by my eyes?" Coco asked.

Clara gave her a wink. "Of course. It's called "mother's intuition". Perhaps someday, you yourself will be able to use that… pertaining that you and my son give me grandbabies, of course."

Coco's blush became VERY profuse at that point, and Cooper shouted; "MOM!"

Connor, however, was laughing hard at his wife's words. "BAHAHAHA! Heh, okay, hon, let's not embarrass them TOO much, okay? It's only their first day here." He turned to Velvet, Yatsu and Fox, ushering them to follow him to the door. "C'mon, you kids all must be pretty hungry. Carla and I were just about to have lunch when you guys pulled in, so why don't you all join us?"

Velvet happily clasped her hands together. "Oh, that sounds lovely! We'd love to join you!" Fox and Yatsu both silently nodded as Connor lead the three into the house, with Carla following behind them.

"And you two better hurry along as well." Clara urged with another wink. "I can tell that we're going to have a LOT to talk about."

With that, she entered the house, leaving the thoroughly baffled and somewhat embarrassed couple by themselves. Cooper facepalmed with both hands and rubbed his forehead. "Dear god, a part of me wants to just curl up and hide for the rest of the week."

Coco reached up and rubbed her boyfriend's back gently, all while moving his hands down from his face. She gave him a soft smile as she rested her forehead to his. "If it's any consolation… I really like your mom. She's definitely really nice." A sly grin came to her face soon after. "Also, between her and your dad, it's easy to see how they made such a good-looking kid."

Cooper smirked back at her and rolled his eyes. "Heh, you WOULD say that, wouldn't you?"

"What can I say? Your mom AND dad are both pretty sharp." Coco then raised a brow. "That said, I haven't become too predictable, have I, Tech Head?"

"Nope. Just when I think I've figured you out, you keep on surprising me." Cooper leaned in closer. "And honestly, that's the way I like it."

"Hmm… then you're gonna love this." Coco closed the distance and locked her lips with Cooper's the two falling into a tender kiss…

…For all of five seconds. "AAAAAAH!" Cooper and Coco broke their kiss and snapped their heads around to see Clara, who was practically jittering in place. "Oh. My. GOD!" She zipped in side and called out to her husband. "HONEY! They're on FIRST BASE!" The couple heard Connor give a victorious shout from inside, to which both of them deadpanned.

"Like I said, the next week's gonna be a bit odd." Cooper reiterated.

"Yeah… though to be honest, I'd argue that we're halfway on second." Coco's comment made Cooper's eyes nearly bug out of his head, which made her smirk return. "Hehe, now c'mon, Tech Head. Let's get in there before we make your parents freak out even more." With that, the couple walked in, though Coco had to lead Cooper by the hand as he was still processing what she said. 'I'll have to get him ALL the way on second soon.'

…..

Meanwhile, back in Bellwood, Max, Six and Holiday had just gotten off the communicator with Gwen, and to say that they were all somewhat perplexed was an understatement. After what the Anodite had just told them about the Collective, it had set off red flags in both Six's and Holiday's minds, though for the life of them, they couldn't exactly figure out why. "This doesn't make any sense." Rebecca commented as she put a thoughtful hand to her chin. "We've never even encountered this cult until now… and yet they sound so familiar." Her sights settled onto her fiancé. "Six, any ideas?"

"Not one." Six said with a shake of his head. "Though I do agree that this whole thing DOES sound familiar, especially with that girl…"

Max simply shrugged his shoulders. "I honestly wish I could help you two, but I have no idea either. I've never heard of this group until only recently, just like you." Max crossed his arms as he faced the massive monitor once more. "To be perfectly frank, this has got me stumped…" The old Plumber trailed off, but was brought out of his thoughts when a door opened behind them, a hissing sound accompanying it. The three turned around to see Winter and a certain other young man both walking into the room; none other than Rex's older brother, Caesar. Max greeted the two with a smile. "Ah, Winter, Caesar. How's the tour going so far?"

Winter returned the smile and bowed her head. "It's going very well, Max, thank you for asking. I must say, your facilities here are making me feel oddly at home." She glanced back toward the door. "I was especially impressed with your hangars and the vehicles you keep in there. Your ships especially remind me of the Mantas we have back in Atlas."

"Hehe, well, I'm glad to hear that you're having a good time." Max set his sights onto Caesar as he approached. "I'm assuming the boys down in the lab are happy to see ya back, Caesar?"

"Ah, si." Caesar confirmed. "They gave me quite the warm welcome…" He rubbed the back of his head as he and Winter shared an awkward look. "Though, uh, heh… i-it was a little embarrassing when I had to explain that Winter and I weren't a couple."

Holiday visibly winced at that. "Ooh, yeah, that must not have been pleasant."

Winter sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Well, at least it wasn't completely embarrassing. Kenny could've been there, too, and then things would have been very awkward." The white-haired woman focused onto Six and Max with a curious face. "So, any word back from the team? How's their mission going?"

Max eyed the screen and answered; "Well, so far, so good. They're currently working on infiltrating the cult's base as we speak, so there's that." He set his sights onto Winter again. "Also, Rook managed to get out with the help of a girl who's seemingly not as loyal to the cult as we thought."

Both Caesar and Winter were surprised by that. "Oh my, really?" Winter folded her arms across her chest. "If that's really the case, then maybe we could have a potential new ally in this girl."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves." Six discouraged with a wave. "We still don't know her full story, and until we do, it's best not to fully trust her." He furrowed his brow in thought. "And even then, we're still trying to figure a few things out. There are certain things about her and this cult in general that seem… familiar, but we're not sure in what way."

"Hm, sounds like un gran dilema." Caesar admitted. "Still, I'm at least glad that Rex and the others are getting close to finishing the mission." He sent a sly grin over to Winter. "That way, he and Weiss are one step closer to their date."

Winter reciprocated with a smirk of her own. "Oh, I am very much anticipating that. I plan on doting on her quite a bit, no matter how much she protests."

"Same." Caesar laughed. "That's definitely gonna be a night to remember."

Suddenly, the door opened behind them again, and a somewhat high-pitched voice rang out through the room; "Ahem, pardon me?" Everyone faced the door and Winter's eyes widened at what she saw. The person across from them was wearing a black and white Plumber suit, just like the ones she saw on all of the other Plumbers. He was definitely humanoid in shape… but in appearance, his face was that of an angler fish's. His skin was a bluish-grey and a green fin going down the back of his head. His lips were green as well and his eyes were round and bright purple. His eyebrows were green and scaly and he had a pair of spectacles sitting on his face, nowhere near close to his eyes. There were two fins sticking out of the arms of his suit and he only had three fingers and two toes, both of which were webbed. He spoke in a somewhat goofy accent as well. "Sorry ta interrupt your conversation…"

Max brightened up at the sight of the alien and sent him a wave. "Oh, it's no trouble at all, Magister. Please, come in." Max stepped up next to Winter and extended a hand toward the fish man. "Winter, allow me to introduce Magister Patelliday. He's a Piscciss Volan who helps me keep track of what goes down here." He then gave his fellow Magister a nod. "Patelliday, this is Winter. She's one of the people from Remnant I told you about."

Winter bowed her head respectfully to the alien. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Magister."

Patelliday smiled back at her. "Ah, so YOUR one of the new arrivals from the other dimension I heard about. From what I hear, you all seem to be a nice bunch, so it's good to meet ya!" He then set his sights on Max with a serious look. "But, uh, as much as I don't wanna cause a scene, Max, we kinda have a bit o' trouble goin' on…"

"Hm? What do you mean?" Max asked.

"Well…" Patelliday reached toward the edge of the door and grabbed a hold of something. At that moment, two large Plumber guards came marching around the corner… and they held a certain redheaded young man in their grasp, and Patelliday was keeping his hand firmly on his shoulder. "Max, I'm gonna be honest, this is the third time we've caught your grandson sneaking into the Plumber's base without permission, I'm thinkin' we should just give him a stinkin' pass already."

Winter, however, was simply flabbergasted at the sight of her… well, he wasn't her boyfriend yet, but still she was shocked. "Ken?!"

Kenny craned his head up and bashfully greeted her. "Uh, hehe… hi, Winter. I uh… wanted to surprise you, so… I guess this counts?"

Max sighed and facepalmed. "Kenny… you're VERY lucky, you know that?" He crossed his arms with a disapproving expression. "If you were anyone else, you'd probably be tased on sight."

Kenny lowered his head shamefully and nodded. "Y-Yeah, I know… sorry, grandpa."

"Okay, I'm going to get you a pass." Max as he pointed a stern finger to him. "But don't make a habit out of doing this anywhere else, alright?" The old man gave a nod to the two Plumbers holding Kenny and they let him go, much to his relief.

"Oh, don't worry about that, grandpa." Kenny assured. "I-I just… w-well…" He slowly set his eyes onto Winter, whose eyes locked instantly with his. "I-I just wanted to see her, is all."

Winter blushed profusely at his words before clearing her throat, trying to compose herself. "W-Well… while I WILL say that's very sweet, Kenny, it's also quite reckless." She raised a brow at him and placed her hands on her hips. "I hope you to won't go to such lengths again, alright? Sneaking into places you aren't supposed to be isn't something that you should be doing, especially if it leads to trouble. You aren't trained in combat, remember."

"Yeah, I understand." Kenny nodded. "I suppose I AM still a civilian." He let out a breath and clapped his hands together. "So, uh… what were you doing, anyway? Has the team called in yet?"

"Just a few moments ago." Max answered. "The mission is going as planned." He gave his grandson and Winter a smirked and crossed his arms. "But you two shouldn't worry about that right now. After all, Kenny, you came all this way just to see Winter, so you may as well make the most of your time here." He gave the duo a wink. "Why don't you two go down to the common room and have one of your talks? I'm sure that Patelliday would gladly show you the way."

"Hm? What was that?" Patelliday asked before noticing the rather awkward faces that Winter and Kenny were wearing. It didn't take long for him to put two and two together. "Oh-ho-ho, well why didn't ya say so in the first place?!" He walked right over to the door and ushered the couple to follow him. "Right this way, Lovebirds. I'll make sure that you kids get the right amount of privacy, guaranteed!"

Kenny blushed and facepalmed while Winter became suddenly intrigued with the floor, both of them trying to hide their embarrassment. Judging by the faces that Holiday and Caesar were giving them, though, it wasn't working. "Hmhm, have fun, you two!" Holiday giggled as the duo trudged after Patelliday, though as they left, Holiday did see them smile at one another as their eyes met once again. It was enough to make the woman sigh happily. "Oh, they're just so cute together."

"Ah, yes, amor joven." Caesar agreed. "Such a lovely thing to see unfold." He smirked as he rubbed his chin. "Which reminds me, I gotta get mi hermano something nice for his first date…"

Six cleared his throat, hoping to steer the conversation back to what they were talking about before. "While I WOULD like to keep gossiping all day, we still have a mystery on our hands here with this cult. Who are they? What are their goals?" His brows furrowed at his next question. "And why do they seem so familiar?"

"Yes, this whole thing just reeks with suspicion." Max concurred. "That hunchbacked girl especially seems a bit off to me. I'm not sure if we can trust her fully until we get the full story on her."

"My thoughts exactly, Max." Six agreed. "Which is why I'm going to be starting an investigation effective immediately."

"You might need a bit of help with that." Max commented before entering in a command on the console. In a matter of moments, countless numbers of case files appeared on the screen, surprising Holiday while Six remained as stoic as ever. "These are all the files of every alien and human criminal on this planet. If you're able to find any matching files, let me know, okay?"

"Will do, Max." Six nodded as he approached the console. "Thank you—hm?" The green clad man was stopped when he felt a tugging on his shirt, making him turn around to see Holiday giving him a questioning face.

The doctor placed her hands on her hips and leaned toward him. "Isn't there something you're forgetting, dear?" There was a short pause as Holiday pursed her lips in a slight pout. "Don't tell me you've already forgotten about the dinner reservations for tonight. You said you'd treat me when I got back from Remnant."

Six's eyebrows rose up, recalling that he HAD booked a dinner for the two of them for tonight. So much for changing the topic. "Oh… I did, didn't I?" He cleared his throat and recomposed himself. "Well then, I suppose the investigation can wait a little longer." He gave a nod over to Max. "You don't mind if we excuse ourselves for a minute? I have a feeling she wants to know where I'm taking her."

Max chortled and waved his hand to the couple. "Haha, it's no trouble at all. Trust me, I've been there. You two go along and talk about your dinner plans." He jerked a thumb toward the television. "Besides, I've got a couple things to do around here."

"Thank you, Max." Holiday grinned before taking a hold of Six's right arm, her eyes fluttering up to him. "Shall we?"

Six smiled and nodded back to her. "Yes, let's."

As the couple walked out, Caesar spoke up again as well. "As for me, I'm gonna head back down to the lab. Cooper asked if I could get a head start on that new armor he's been planning, and I can already tell that VADOS is growing impatient in that gauntlet he's got her in."

"Haha, of course, Caesar." Max approved. "I'll see you later." Caesar gave the old Plumber a salute and followed Six and Holiday out the door, leaving Max by himself. Once he was alone, though, a serious expression came to his face and he set his sights back onto the monitor, bringing down the criminal data base as he did. After that, he entered in a few commands on the console, and a small, hidden hatch in the middle of the room opened up, revealing a dome-shaped hologram projector. In an instant, the projector lit up the entire room with a galactic map, one that detailed every planet in Plumber space. Max stepped into the middle of the room and narrowed his eyes at all of the small, holographic planets surrounding him.

"Just where are you, Vilgax? Where are you?"

…..

Winter had to admit, she found it hard to be frustrated at someone like Ken Tennyson. He was as innocent of a guy as you could get, and on top of that, he was nice and incredibly sweet to boot. Had he snuck onto Plumber property without permission? Yes, but he did so just so he could see her. To say that she didn't find that the least bit romantic would be an outright lie. It was then that she realized; 'By the gods, he must adore me… and I must be honest, I really DO feel the same way.' She had figured that out quite a while ago, but the fact remained that both of them had yet to really act upon their feelings for each other. Right now they were… friends with romantic tension, and she didn't want that to be their standing for long. At one point or another, they HAD to actually go out on a date.

Winter took in a deep breath and faced Ken once again, offering him a smile. Thankfully, Patelliday had gotten swept up in some important matters, so he simply pointed them in the direction of the commons room, leaving them alone to talk about whatever they wanted on the way there. "So… Kenny, I assume you had a good sleep?" Winter mentally slapped herself at that remark. 'SLEEP?! Really, Winter, you want to ask this boy out and yet your first thought is to bring up SLEEP?!'

"O-Oh, uh… yeah, I did, actually." Kenny replied. "A-Although, my mom, dad and I did put a few finishing touches on your guys' rooms last night too, so they're pretty much ready whenever you all wanna move in."

"I see." Winter grinned slightly. "Well, I will definitely be glad when that DOES happen. I ended up breaking in my sister's bunk bed last night since we all stayed at your aunt and uncle's place." Her smile became a smirk and she chuckled. "And to think that pretty much everyone slept in the living room last night."

Kenny laughed at that as well. "Haha! Never let it be said that they don't take their missions seriously."

"Hm, yes, quite." Winter hummed to herself as she kept her eyes locked with Kenny, attempting to hype herself up in her own mind. 'Come on, Winter, you can do this. Your father may have set you up with dates all your life, but you are a grown woman. You can ask out a guy yourself now, and there should be no nervousness that comes with that. Now take. That. Plunge.' She cleared her throat and spoke to Kenny again… though she also wasn't paying attention to where she was going. "Ahem, so, Ken, I was wondering if—" BAM! "AGH!"

Kenny let out a gasp and shouted; "WINTER!" Admittedly, he also wasn't paying too much attention to what was ahead of him, but he was quick to spring into action the moment he saw Winter bump into someone. He dove down to his knees and reached out, attempting to grab a hold of Winter as she fell. …Unfortunately, he had misjudged the space between them and the two ended up falling onto each other instead. That said, Kenny still ended up breaking Winter's fall, so there was that. Still, landing flat on his back on the hard concrete floors didn't do him any favors. "Ugh, well, that could have gone better."

"Mph, yes, I—" At that moment, Kenny heard Winter's voice catch in her throat… and one glance down told him all the reason why. Winter had landed directly on his chest, with her own chest pressed up gently against his. They were at eye-level with each other, her face hovering just a few inches away from his. The duo could practically feel each other's breaths at that point, and it was enough for them to blush madly.

Winter's icy blue eyes darted around in apprehension, wondering why at all times that THIS had to happen NOW. "U-Uh… I-I… I am SO sorry."

"O-Oh, n-no, it's my fault, really." Kenny assured, trying to search for the words. "I was the one who tried to make the save, so I got us into this."

"W-Well, I was the one who fell in the first—" The military specialist cut herself off when she heard a slight groan coming from their right. The duo craned their heads up to see another person also on the ground, picking themselves up as well. Winter and Kenny turned back to each other, the former suggesting; "Perhaps we should talk about this later."

Kenny nodded instantly. "Y-Yeah, good idea." With that, Winter and Kenny picked themselves up, both of them slightly disappointed that they weren't so close to one another anymore. Still, someone was hurt, and it was their fault, so they had to help them.

However, if anything, this person was actually more irritated at herself than anything. "Gah, consarn it!" She said in a clear southern drawl. It was then that Winter and Kenny really got a good look at the woman. She was about their age, maybe a little older, and had fair skin and bright blue eyes. She also had short brown hair, with one side of her head shaved down while the other had a long bang that covered her right eye, and she was wearing a Plumber's Suit. She shook her head and muttered to herself; "That'll teach me to not look where I'm goin'." while reaching for a data pad.

"O-Oh, here." Winter reached for the pad, which was closer to her. "Please, let me get that for you. It's the least I can do for bumping into you like that."

"Hm?" The young woman glanced up to Winter in surprise, only for a kind smile to come to her face. "Well, thank ya kindly. Though to be honest, I'm really the one who shoulda been payin' attention. I had my eyes glued onto that thing an' I wasn't payin' nearly as much attention as I should've."

However, Winter waved her hand as she gave the data pad to the girl. "Well, the same could be said for me, really. I was so busy talking that I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She bowed her head politely. "I hope you can forgive me for that."

"Heh, only if you're willin' to forgive me." the brunette insisted.

Winter blinked in surprise, but with how nice the other girl was being, she decided to go with it and smile back to her. "Hm, of course. So, apology excepted?"

"Darn tootin'." The woman extended her hand in greeting. "Name's Molly Gunther, by the way. I'm a Lieutenant 'round here. What's yer name, sugar?"

"Oh, Winter." The military specialist took Molly's hand and shook it. "Winter Schnee. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise." Molly nodded, only to see that Kenny was standing right behind Winter. She gave him a questioning gaze, placing her hands on her hips. "D'oh, for god's sake, Ken Tennyson, I thought we all made it clear that ya'll ain't allowed in here without a pass."

Kenny shrunk back a bit and waved weakly, almost as if he had run into her before. "Hehe, yeah… hey Molly."

Fortunately, Winter came in between the two and raised her hands toward the other woman. "H-Hold on, Molly. It's alright. His grandfather already talked to him about it and he let him stay. He and I were just on the way to the common room for a little… talk."

Molly pursed her lips, her eyes still focused on Kenny before giving a sigh. "Well, I suppose if'n Magister Tennyson gave the okay, then I guess he's clear…" However, at that moment, Molly's eyebrows rose up in realization, her eyes darting back over to Winter. "Hold up, sugar, you said yer last name was "Schnee", right?" Winter nodded and Molly put a hand to her chin. "Schnee… wait a minute!" She snapped her fingers and pointed at Winter. "Ain't you one o' the people from that "Remnant" place that we've been hearin' so much about over the past couple o' weeks?"

"Indeed." Winter confirmed. "Myself, my sister and many others made the jump from there just yesterday." Just then, she saw Molly's face slowly start to brighten up until her eyes were shining and her smile was beaming from ear to ear, which only confused Winter all the more. "Um… are you alright?"

"Oh, I'm as right as rain, sugar!" Molly balled her hands into excited fists as she got right up in front of Winter, almost as if she were an eager school girl. "Oh my gosh, I've heard SO much about this world o' yours from Agent Six, and can I just say it sounds like one helluva place!" She put her arms up, mimicking holding a rifle. "I hear tell that ya'll hunt down vicious beasts for a livin', is that right?!"

"The Grimm, you mean? Yes, we hunt them down to make sure that people are safe." Winter put a hand on her hip. "And for compensation, yes."

"That sounds incredible!" Molly was practically gushing at this point. "You have NO idea how appealin' that sounds to me."

Winter wore an amused smirk. "I can see that. Though I'm a bit surprised that a Plumber would be excited about hunting down vicious creatures."

"You kiddin'? When I was a little girl, my ideal fantasy was always to be an badass huntress of some kind." Molly's eyes trailed down to Winter's sword with an awestruck gaze. "An' it seems to me like you're livin' out my dream there."

Winter put a hand to the back of her neck sheepishly. "Hmhm, well, I will say that your enthusiasm is quite infectious. And with your attitude, you would likely make for a fine Huntress, Molly." She moved her hand to the handle of her sword, quirking her brow to Molly. "Do you want a closer look?"

The Lieutenant nodded eagerly and Winter unsheathed her sword, much to Molly's delight. "Woo-wee! Now THAT is one fancy blade!"

"Oh, it gets better." Winter pulled the trigger in the blade's handle and it popped open, allowing the smaller, secondary blade to slide out. She took hold of it and spun it around gracefully in her hand, holding both blades in a backhanded style as she grinned at Molly. "So, what do you think?"

"HA! What do I think?!" Molly laughed. "I think that's badass as hell!"

Kenny, who had stayed silent for almost the whole conversation, was also staring at the weapons in amazement. "Yeah, can't argue with that. A sword INSIDE of a sword? That's just too cool for words."

If anything, that only made Winter's smile grow. "Why thank you, Kenny. And you too, Molly. At times, people underestimate me simply because my weapon doesn't become a firearm, so it's reassuring to hear nice things like that about my swords."

"Ah, no problem—hold up just a darn second." Molly's eyes widened and darted back to Winter. "Whaddya mean by "doesn't become a firearm"?"

"Oh, in Remnant, it's common for Huntsmen and Huntresses to create weapons that incorporate both ranged and close-up combat." Winter explained. "And most commonly, that involves weapons transforming between some sort of melee weapon and a firearm." She raised a single finger. "For example, my younger sister's partner has a weapon that can transform between a scythe and a sniper rifle."

Molly's jaw was hanging open at that point. "So… what yer sayin' is that in your world, swords, axes, scythes, any kind o' weapon like that…"

"Can also be a gun, yes."

"…Darlin', yer just sellin' your world to me more an' more."

"Yep, same." Kenny agreed, raising his hand. "Don't get me wrong, Winter, your double swords are really awesome… but man, transforming weapons are just so cool." He leaned a bit closer to her and whispered; "Though, uh, I think we might've gotten caught up in a bigger conversation than even WE expected, huh?"

Winter winced at that, remembering that the whole point of going to the common area was so that she could have some alone time with Kenny. "Oh, yes, that's right." The specialist bowed her head back to Molly with a kind grin. "I'm sorry, Molly, but we really have to be going. But I must say, it was very nice talking with you."

Molly smiled back and gave a laugh. "Ha! Same here, sugar. Hope to catch ya around at some point." She saluted and gave Winter a wink. "Oh, an' have fun with your beaux there, ya hear? Kenny might be a bit of a sneak, but I don't have to think twice to know that he's one helluva looker." This caused both Winter and Kenny to blush madly at the Lieutenant's words, which got her to laugh again. "Bahaha! Oh man, way to easy—"

AHHT—AHHT—AHHT! All of a sudden, a loud alarm began blaring throughout the entire facility, causing Winter, Kenny and Molly to all cover their ears. At the same time, red lights began flashing through the hallway and Plumbers who were passing them by in the halls began to all scramble in one direction, much to their confusion. "W-What's happening?!" Kenny shouted over the alarms.

"I don't know!" Winter hollered before focusing on Molly. "Molly, do you know what's—"

"ALERT, ALERT!" A monotonous voice came over the intercom at that very moment, making the three young adults all snap their heads upward. "Several Unidentified Objects entering Earth's atmosphere. Estimated landing site; twenty miles south from Bellwood Headquarters."

Molly's eyes widened in horror. "Oh shit! That ain't good!" She whipped her head around toward Kenny and Winter. "That's the next town over! We gotta move, NOW!"

As they all began to sprint down the hallway, however, Winter's eyes widened, remembering that there were five people who just happened to be in the next town over. 'Oh no…'

…..

Cooper had to admit, things had started out a bit odd, to be sure. But, as the hours passed by and things began to settle, he began to see that he really had nothing to worry about. The moment he and his friends stepped into the house, his parents had gotten them into the living room and began talking about all of the experiences that they had in Remnant, from the moment Cooper had arrived there. Needless to say, Connor and Clara were completely enthralled in the story of how they helped Ben and the team in their fight against the evil witch, Salem. However, right as the clock struck noon, the two older Daniels paused the conversation and got to work preparing lunch for every single one of the teens. It as almost like they were taking orders at a restaurant, offering to make any sandwich that the group of five teens desired. Of course, Team CFVY had assured them that they would make their own lunches, but the two Daniels parents were insistent.

"Kids, please, we're your HOSTS." Clara emphasized as she pulled out tubs of fresh ham, chicken breast and pastrami from the fridge, nudging it shut with her elbow. "It'd be rude of us NOT to make you lunch on your first day here."

"You'd do well to listen to her, guys." Connor said as he began chopping up lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. "As Coop's friends, AND our guests, you shouldn't have to lift a finger while you're here." He finished chopping up the veggies and presented them to the group. "Now, we've got a selection of meats, veggies and cheeses. What would you guys like?"

The CFVY quartet all blinked in surprise before glancing toward Cooper, who chuckled and gave a shrug. "Hehe… they run a deli in town."

Coco raised a brow. "Wait, I thought you said they had connections to the Plumbers?"

At that moment, Connor gave out a chuckle. "Hehe, no, no, that'd be my father, Cooper's grandad. He's friends with Max and used to be in the Plumbers." He waved his hand and went back to preparing the food. "Me? I never really wanted a part of that life. Fighting aliens is a bit too much for me." He raised a brow to his son. "Though I will say that I'm amazed at how you've taken to it, Coop."

"Yeah, well, my mutation definitely helped break me in." Cooper added.

Velvet furrowed her brows a bit. "Oh, yeah, that's another question we've been meaning to ask. How DOES Cooper have this mutation?"

Clara raised her hand, ushering for Velvet to wait. "Why don't we get our lunches ready and THEN we'll talk about that? So, what would you kids like?" Once everyone had gotten their own specialty sandwiches, they went over to the table and sat down, picking up where the conversation left off. "Okay, so, you wanted to know what the deal is with Cooper's mutation."

"Yes, it's something that we've all been curious about." Yatsu admitted. "I mean, where we come from, it's not unusual for humans and Faunus to have special powers. We call those "Semblances"."

"But in terms of Ben, Gwen, Kevin and Coop, we were kinda stunned." Fox went on. "Ben's a normal human who can change because of the Omnitrix, Gwen and Kevin are alien hybrids, but Coop being a mutant? That one took us kinda by surprise. I know that sounds a bit weird considering all I just said, but still."

Coco took a sip of her… coco before picking up where he left off. "Cooper told me that it had to do with an abnormality in his DNA. Something about his genetics being a bit off?"

Clara nodded at that. "That's exactly right, Coco. You see, in our world, genetic mutations are a rather common occurrence. Not to the point where we have them forming superhero teams or anything, but they're out there."

"Some say it's a result of alien experimentation that happened in the previous generation of humans." Connor added. "Back when alien sightings and abductions were being reported all over the place in the 40's and 50's. It was said that they'd abduct people, alter their genetics so that their offspring would be mutated, and then leave them to breed."

Velvet couldn't help but cringe at that. "Oy, that sound awful."

"Heh, well, at least they didn't get probed." Connor chuckled. "THAT would've been more awful. But back to the point, my father was actually one of the abductees during this time. It's how he got INTO the Plumbers, actually. And, for whatever reason, my mutant genes never really activated." He then pointed over to his son. "But it's obvious that the same can't be said for Cooper."

A sigh escaped Clara's lips. "We're just glad that he didn't become some kind of monster like Zombozo and his Circus Freaks." She smiled brightly over to Cooper. "But no, Cooper's an intelligent boy with a knack for technology, and we couldn't be any prouder of him. Especially right now."

Cooper blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "Aw, thanks mom. By the way, you guys have the guest room all set up, right?"

"Oh, of course." Clara assured. "We've kept it like it's always been, and it's as clean as a whistle. Though, uh… I'm afraid there's only two beds in there right now. We have a spare one, but that still only totals up to three single beds…" At that moment, a sly grin came to Clara's face and her eyes trailed over to Coco, taking the girl aback somewhat. "You know, Coco… Cooper just happens to have a twin sized bed in HIS room…"

"MOM!" Cooper shouted as he blushed profusely. "W-What're you—"

"Woah, woah, hold up there, Tech Head." Coco raised a hand… before a wry smile of her own came to her face. She eyed Clara intently and said; "I kinda wanna hear her out on this one."

Cooper could feel his stomach do a flip, though he couldn't tell if it was from horror or happiness at the words his girlfriend spoke. "SAY WHAT?!"

Connor belted out a laugh at the scene, watching as the rest of Team CFVY's jaws hit the table. "BAHAHA! Oh god, this is too good." He smirked over to his son and pat his shoulder. "Coop, son, you've gotta see it from our perspective; we're your parents, so of course we're gonna take every opportunity we can to both help you out and make you feel awkward as hell with your girlfriend. It's practically in our job description."

Clara shifted her gaze between her husband, her son and Coco before tapping her fingers together. "Uh… hon… I might've been a bit serious in the offer."

All at once, Connor's mirthful attitude slightly shifted into a more serious one. "Uh… okay, sweetheart, I'm looking forward to grandkids as much as you are, but I think you might be pushing it a little too fast."

Clara rolled her eyes and sighed. "Connor, I'm not trying to encourage them to do… that yet. Trust me, under this roof, no one is getting it on in the sack besides us."

"TMI!" The group of teens shouted while facepalming.

"But, that said, I just want Cooper to be as comfortable in his relationship as possible." Clara said while smiling toward the couple in question. "That way, when the time finally DOES come… they'll be comfortable."

Coco grinned back toward the woman and let out a laugh. "Heh, well, Mrs. D, I don't know what to… what the…" Out the corner of her eye, Coco spotted something out the nearby kitchen window, the fashionista making her way toward it slowly. Everyone followed her line of sight and followed her, peering out the window as well to see what she spotted. As it turned out, it was several unidentifiable fiery objects that were plummeting toward the main part of town just a short ways from where they were… and they were coming in fast. "…Tech Head, mind telling me what those things are?"

"…I don't know." Cooper admitted. "But whatever it is, if it's come from space, it can't be good. And since Ben and the others are at Niagara Falls on a mission…" He went to grab his jacket and slung it on, his eyes darting toward his father. "Dad, call Max, tell him we're on our way to intercept."

Clara wore a concerned look at that, however. "Cooper, are you sure? You and your friends—"

"Can handle it, Mrs. D." Coco finished as she put her sunglasses back on her face, her team all ready for battle right beside her. "Trust me, we've been in some nasty scraps before. Whatever it is, I'm sure we can handle it." She lowered her glasses and sent Clara a wink. "Trust me, we'll be back."

Connor and Clara glanced at one another before the former gave a shrug. "I'll go call Max, then. Best of luck, kids."

"And you." Clara stepped up to Cooper and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Make sure you're well-armed for this, okay? You don't have your suit, remember."

Cooper grinned and pecked his mom on the cheek right back. "I will. And I'll be sure to stay safe, too. We'll be back, though, promise!"

As they all filed out of the door, though, Coco stepped up to Clara and placed a hand on her shoulder. "And I'll make sure he keeps that promise." She gave a wink and thumbs up to Clara. "We'll be back to finish those sandwiches."

"Oh, thank you, dear." Clara said before giving Coco a brief hug. "We'll put them in the fridge for you until you get back. Now go kick some alien butt."

"Will do!" With one final salute, Coco dashed off toward her roadster, where the rest of her team was already climbing in. As she got into the driver's seat, though, she could only think to herself; '…Yeah, I've got a feeling I'm gonna love this family.'

…..

The moment they pulled up to the scene, the second-year team and their brainy fifth member were met with an expected sight; people panicking in the streets. And why wouldn't they? Several flaming objects from outer space just crash-landed in the middle of their town. Admittedly, that was nothing new around these parts considering who lived just in the next town over, but still, it was terrifying. Team CFVY and Cooper all got out of Coco's roadster the second she pulled to a stop and most of them readied their weapons, with Cooper taking out his Techadorian Multi-Blaster while Fox put on his gauntlets and Yatsu pulled out his sword.

Said tall swordsman craned his head around, inspecting the scene, only to see that the entire crash site was currently veiled in a layer of debris and dust flowing through the air. "Whatever landed here, it sure did it with a great amount of force." he commented.

"No kidding." Coco said as she pulled her sunglasses down to search for whatever landed. "Can't see a damn thing with all this dust around. Velvet, hear anything?"

Velvet perked her ears up right then, concentrating on any foreign sounds. "Well… I think I hear something. It almost sounds like… metal grinding against itself. O-Or maybe… metallic joints moving? Almost like Cooper's armor."

"That's odd." Cooper said as he continued searching. "Why would there be a—" His voice caught in his throat the moment he saw a red light suddenly shine in the dust… and it made a distinct sound of something powering up. "Oh shit! GET DOWN!"

The quintet hit the dirt immediately just as a huge laser blast sailed directly over their heads, flying past them before colliding directly with a building and blowing a hole in it. The team kept themselves low, kneeling on the ground as they got up. "Is everyone alright?" Fox asked telepathically.

"Could be better." Coco furrowed her brow and snapped her head to where the laser came from. "But whoever did that is in for one hell of an… oh god."

At that very moment, the being that had fired that blast suddenly rose out from the rubble… along with three more of its kind. They were gigantic machines that were about forty feet tall and somewhat humanoid aside from their lower halves. The upper torso had long arms with huge gauntlets that had a blaster in the palm, along with four sharp fingers on each hand. Their heads were curved back and had large, insectoid-like red eyes that pierced through the teens as they stared blankly at them. The lower torso, meanwhile, sported three insectoid legs that helped them move over the rubble with ease.

The teens all gawked as the robots approached, all of them taking a step back. "W-What in the world are THOSE things?!" Velvet exclaimed.

"Tch, and I thought we were done with robots for a while." Coco scoffed before glancing to Cooper. "Alright, Tech Head, let's… Cooper?" The fashionista was taken aback when she saw Cooper's face… and how struck with horror it was. Computron didn't strike this much fear into him yesterday, but these things? They definitely seemed to make Cooper genuinely worried. "Cooper… do you know what these robots are?"

"Y-Yes…" Cooper swallowed hard before tightening his grip on his blaster. "They're Vilgax's attack drones."

Those words left Team CFVY in a stunned state for a good few seconds before Fox replied. "Vilgax… as in "Ben's worst enemy" Vilgax? THAT Vilgax?"

"The very same." Cooper said before the attack drones raised their arms up, and several disk-shaped protrusions began to pop out of them. "And be ready, because I think we've got more coming!"

From out of the attack drone's arms came several more drones, each one shaped like a flying saucer with multiple spindly limbs coming out of all sides of it, culminating in a single red eye on top of them. In total, there were about sixteen of these things, and they were all hovering around the larger drones as if they were their parents. "Okay, so what are those? Yatsu asked.

"Those are more basic drones." Cooper answered. "They're used for more up-close and personal attacks." His brow furrowed as all of the drones began to approach. "This is bad. This means that Vilgax definitely still has his sights set on Earth and he's letting us all know that."

Velvet sent a worried face to her friend. "Does… D-Does that mean he's here?"

"No, if he were, he'd come down himself." Cooper replied as he cocked his gun. "But either way, we can't let these things wreck the town!"

"You're right, Tech Head, we've got a job to do!" Coco nodded as she took her handbag by the strap, ready to kick some more robot skid plate. "C'mon, team, let's show these robotic assholes how we do things back in Remnant!"

At her word, Fox, Yatsu and Velvet all readied themselves for action and the five all sprinted forward, with Coco and the former two boys all giving out battle cries as they closed in. Three of the more basic drones immediately flew right toward Fox, but the blind Huntsman wasn't about to be determined. The moment he heard one of them fire a laser blast at him, he jumped up and avoided it before landing on the mech's head. He then slashed its head clean off with Sharp Retribution before grabbing it by one of its limbs. Fox landed on the ground and began sprinting at the other two drones, which were trying to fire at him, but to no avail. He just kept dodging their attacks until finally, he closed in.

"Hey! I think your friend wants to say something to ya!" With that, Fox bashed the destroyed drone against one of the active ones, hammering it straight into the ground before blasting it up close with Sharp Retribution, deactivating it. He then dashed off to the side as the other one fired upon him, only for it to meet its end as he slashed at it with both of his blades, dicing it into several pieces. "Hmph, not so tough."

"Agreed!" With one mighty swing, Yatsuhashi effortlessly cleaved through the three basic drones that came his way, the orange and black metal being crushed into the pavement beneath his blade, Fulcrum. Yatsu lifted his sword up and put it over his shoulder. "These little things can't be that much of a threat."

Not far away, Velvet was busy bobbing and weaving out of the way of several laser blasts from three of her own basic drones. "Hup! Ah, maybe not for fighters like us!" She jumped again, narrowly avoiding another blast. "But for innocent civilians, they'd be helpless." Deciding that it was time to end this, Velvet activated Anesidora and created a hard light weapon, this one a copy of Nora's hammer, Magnhild. "Now, let's get down to business!"

Velvet slammed the head of her Magnhild copy down onto the ground and fired, propelling herself up into the air and into a very fast somersault. She fell toward one of the drones and immediately bashed its head in, her spinning making the hammer's impact that much more effective. She then landed on her feet before swinging her Magnhild around to smash it into another drone, crashing it straight into a wall. Finally, for the coup de grace, Velvet shifted her hard light Magnhilde into its grenade launcher form, firing a blast of explosive energy directly at the last drone. It blew up in a spectacular fashion, with light and flames dancing together in quite the beautiful display.

"Nice work, Vel!" Coco called out as she bashed a drone away with her handbag, sending it directly into another. The two disk-shaped robots came crashing to the ground and Coco finished them both off with another big swing, crushing both of them effortlessly. Coco snickered to herself… but then heard the sound of two more drones flying toward her from behind. She spun around and activated Gianduja, the bag transforming into its gatling gun form. In no time flat, Coco unleashed a barrage of bullets onto the drones, not even bothering to use her Semblance to increase its power as both bots came crashing down to the ground. Coco halted her fire and eyed the burning wreckage. "Overkill? Maybe, but hey, you guys started it."

"Coco!" The fashionista turned to see Velvet, Yatsu and Fox rushing over to her… and they were all being followed by one of the massive Attack Drones. "We've got a bit of trouble over here!" Velvet cried out.

Coco furrowed her brow at the robot, preparing herself for the fight that was coming. 'Welp, here comes the hard part.'

As that was happening, Cooper was running away from the final three drones, the genius making sure to keep a hold of his blaster. He glanced back toward the drones, which were continuing to try and hit them with their lasers. But then, the blonde genius smirked as he came toward an alleyway. 'That's right, come to papa…' He dove into an alley way as quick as he could and the drones followed… only to lose sight of him soon after. The only thing they could see were multiple trash bins and a large dumpster, no sign of Cooper anywhere.

But then… the drones began to rattle around involuntarily, and before they knew it, flashing ERROR screens began to envelope their vision. Something was DEFINITELY wrong. In no time at all, all of their parts began to detach, almost as if something was disassembling them from the inside out. Before long, they were all reduced to their component parts, which were all floating through the air… before then coming together to reassemble into something much bigger. The drone's lasers all came together, totaling in six blasters total before being wrapped up in metal parts that were formed from the drone's main bodies. In the end, the drones had been reshaped into a huge laser cannon, which was complete with a pack that held the three drone's energy cores.

Cooper let out an exhausted breath as he stepped out from behind the dumpster. That had taken quite a bit out of him, but considering the new weapon he created from it, it was totally worth it. He also made sure to discard the drone's CPUs. Better to not keep their inherent programing and not end up with his body and mind corrupted by Vilgax. "Hah, well, that was eventful." He placed his Multi-Blaster on his hip and put on the energy pack for his new cannon, picking the weapon up with both hands soon after. "Now, let's see how you handle." He went out and was immediately greeted… by the sight of Team CFVY nearly getting stomped on by an Attack Drone. "GUYS!"

Coco's eyes darted over to him and she smiled. "Hah, Tech Head! So glad you could join us!" One of the Attack Drone's legs suddenly came crashing down toward her, though she managed to roll away just in time. "What's that new do-dad you got there?!"

Cooper smirked and raised the laser cannon up a bit. "Just a little something I cobbled together last minute! I was inspired by your own big gun to make one of my own." He raised a brow to her and asked; "Wanna see how effective it is?"

"Haha! You're speaking my language, Tech Head, and I'm loving what you're sayin'!" She rushed over to Cooper and stood next to him, pulling out Gianduja once again. "Now c'mon, let's mow this thing down!"

"You got it!" The couple set their sights onto the approaching Attack Drone as it readied its own laser cannons to fire at them, though they managed to fire their weapons first. Cooper's cannon let loose with a massive laser blast while Coco unloaded her with her Dust rounds, and while both did a significant amount of damage to its chest area, it still managed to get off two powerful blasts of its own. The couple were forced to take a dive to avoid the blast, and that's when Cooper had an idea. "Okay, slight change in plans. I'm more maneuverable with this gun, so I'll circle around and get it to stop moving."

"And then I'll use my Semblance to finish it off!" Coco finished as she stayed low for the time being. "Brilliant, Tech Head!"

"Thank you, now let's go!" With that, the blonde genius ran as fast as he could around the Attack Drone, lifting his cannon to take aim at one of its legs. "HEY! Scrapheap! Over here!" The Attack Drone sent another laser blast at him, only for Cooper to tuck and roll away from it before landing in a crouch, lifting his cannon back up to aim for the leg joint. "Take THIS!" With that, he sent a massive blast at the joint, which managed to cut through it like a hot knife through butter. The result was immediate, with the Attack Drone stumbling over. It caught itself with its hands, but Cooper knew that it couldn't defend itself in this state. "Coco! You're up!"

Back with the fashionista, she stood up and activated her Semblance, lifting Gianduja so that the barrel was aimed right at its head. She could feel her Hype flowing through her and into her weapon, and with a wily smirk, she pulled the trigger. "Eat Dust, ya big hunk of JUNK!" She let loose her Hyped-up ammunition onto the Attack Drone, and immediately, the Dust Rounds all tore through the orange metal like paper. And in no time, the head was completely destroyed, its remains blowing up in a big explosion. The robot's arms collapsed under itself and its lifeless body fell to the street, with Coco cheering in victory. "HAHA! Alright!" She put Gianduja away and ran right up to Cooper, giving him a high five and a kiss to follow up. "Ha! Nice work, Tech Head! That takes one of 'em down!"

Cooper chuckled as he held her in his arms. "Hehe, yeah, it sure does… and might I say, you were amazing as always, by dear."

Coco blushed and gave him a light pat on the cheek. "Oh, you're too sweet. But we can celebrate later. Let's go see how the others are doing."

…..

As it happened, the rest of the team were actually holding their own… for the most part. Yatsu was currently in a pretty tight spot, the tall swordsman keeping his arms raised as a huge amount of pressure was being pushed down on him. That pressure being; the Attack Drone's gigantic hand. What didn't make the situation better was the fact that he was staring down the barrel of its palm-mounted laser blaster as well… which began to power up at that very moment. "Uh, GUYS?!" Yatsu called out. "A little help would be nice!"

"Hang on, Yatsu!" Fox hollered as he came rushing onto the scene, his Sharp Retribution at the ready. The blind Huntsman ducked under his friend and the hand before jumping up, slicing the barrel off with a single slice from his blade. He then tackled Yatsu to the ground as the blaster fired, only to cause an explosion that blew up the Attack Drone's hand.

Yatsu let out a relieved breath and sent his friend a grateful smile. "Thanks, Fox. One more second and I might've been cooked."

"And well-done, too." Fox added as the two boys stood up. At that moment, though, the Attack Drone's eyes flashed red and it came right for them, extending it's one good hand. "Gah, here it comes again!"

"Oh no way, not again!" Yatsu pulled Fulcrum off his back and held it in both hands. "I won't fall for the same trick twice." With a mighty yell, Yatsuhashi sprinted toward the hand and hefted Fulcrum right over his head, cleaving through the metal appendage as it closed in. He managed to cut a big gash into it, and he took the opportunity to call back to the redhead; "Fox! Take the shot!"

"Gotcha!" With Sharp Retribution already locked and loaded, Fox ran forward and began pulling the triggers, sending a barrage of rounds into the gash Yatsu made. In no time at all, one well-placed round made that hand explode as well, leaving the Attack Drone weaponless. "HA! Gotcha ya walking pile of—" But, at that moment, something unexpected happened. The giant robot jumped using all three of its legs, and, while it was in midair, it spun said legs around, keeping it aloft for a short time. Once it stopped, it came crashing down… and it was headed right for the two boys. "…Oh balls." Fox muttered.

"RUN!" Yatsu picked Fox up and began to run, narrowly avoiding the robot's impact… but still caught up in it enough to be sent careening a fair distance away. The two boys landed in a heap, with pained groans escaping their lips as they gazed up at the giant robot. The Attack Drone began to raise one of its legs to stomp directly on them… only for a huge blast of energy to hit it right in the chest, sending it stumbling away.

"Huh?!" Fox and Yatsu snapped their heads around… and saw a certain bunny girl standing a couple yards away, with a hard light copy of Rex's Slam Cannon hefted up over her shoulder. "HAHA! Alright, Vel! Nice shot!"

Velvet grinned to the two as the Slam Cannon disappeared. "Thanks, Fox! Now, I think it's time we finish this!" With that, Velvet activated Anesidora again, creating another hard light copy of one of Rex's weapons. Before she knew it, she had her own set of Smack Hands over her regular arms, and through her Semblance, knew exactly how to use them. "Let's see how you like THIS then!" With an exerted grunt, Velvet jumped up high into the air, bringing one of her Smack Hands back before thrusting it directly into the robot's face.

The Attack Drone reeled back up straight as Velvet sailed directly over its head, only for her to land on it and start running over it. She jumped and began falling down its backside, but as she came down, she swung one of her mighty hard light arms at the metal monstrosity's back, causing it to stumble a bit. Velvet landed perfectly on her feet and called to the two boys; "Yatsu, Fox! Think you can take out two of its legs?!"

"Sure can!" Fox called back, with Yatsu giving a single nod before both boys went their separate ways. All at once, the three team CFVY members each took one leg, with Velvet grabbing onto hers with her Smack Hands and twisting it until it came off. Yatsu and Fox, meanwhile, used their blades to slice directly through the joints, and all at once, the Attack Drone was now effectively limbless. The robot fell onto its pointed… "rear" and began to struggle, leaving Fox to ask; "Okay, what now?"

"This!" Velvet jumped right up toward the Attack Drone once again and all at once, her Smack Hands began to spin rapidly, getting ready for one final hit. Sure enough, she made direct contact and practically plowed her way through the robot's chest with that double punch, coming out with a flip before landing on the ground. Her Smack Hands dissipated as the entire robot blew to smithereens, leaving her to cheer at their victory. "Haha! Yes! A smashing victory, boys!"

"Quite literally." Yatsu said as he and Fox approached her, the three exchanging fist bumps. "That was pretty crazy."

Fox was about to comment… but then he heard the sound of two more giant drones approaching, leading him to turn in their direction. "Well, I think it's about to get even crazier. Get ready, guys!"

The three teammates faced the two incoming robots… and were thankfully joined by their other team members as they approached. "Heya guys!" Coco greeted as she and Cooper came to a halt. "What'd we miss?"

"What'd you MISS?!" Fox exclaimed. "A whole lot of ass whupping, that's what!"

Velvet couldn't help but raise a brow toward them. "Yeah, what happened to you guys? We got separated and—wait, Cooper, what in the world is that?"

Cooper hefted up his new cannon and grinned. "Oh, this? Just a little something I whipped up from those other drones. Figured some extra firepower would come in handy."

"Well, I certainly hope you're right." Yatsu remarked as the Attack Drones began to close in on them. "Because this whole thing is far from over."

Coco simply smirked and scoffed at the gigantic robots. "Pfft, well, we all managed to take down two already, plus those other small fries. We can take down these things, no prob… oh jeez." Right as she was saying that the team bore witness as multiple new weapons began to pop out of the two robots left and right. The fingers split in half to reveal massive energy saw blades, there were large, side-mounted turrets that came out of their hips, and their faces even opened up to reveal another large cannon. As Team CFVY stared at the newly armed Attack Drones, they couldn't help but feel a bit stunned by what they just witnessed. "Oh, so NOW they feel the need to bring out the heavy artillery?" Coco commented.

"Guess Vilgax has been making some upgrades." Cooper said just as the side-mounted turrets shifted down and began lighting up. "WATCH OUT!" All at once, the turrets began firing in quick succession at Team CFVY, which forced them to make a retreat. The five teens rushed into a nearby alley, all of them breathing hard as they watched the Attack Drones approach.

"Okay, so… any bright ideas?" Fox asked.

"There has to be something we can do..." Cooper uttered. "But what we really need is backup."

"You're right, Tech Head." Coco agreed as she glanced down to Gianduja. "I'm almost outta ammo here, and I don't wanna waste any of it. Think you can contact Plumber base and get them out here?"

However, it was at that moment when Velvet's ears perked up, the bunny girl hearing a new sound over the Attack Drones' mighty footsteps. "…Actually, I don't think that'll be necessary." She peeked her head out from the alley and smiled instantly, her eyes shifting to her friends as she pointed up the street. "Haha! See? I told you!"

The rest of Team CFVY also stuck their heads out… just in time to see a massive black Plumber Assault Tank come rolling down the street. It had large tires with the Omnitrix Symbol of them and a roof mounted cannon, one that aimed right for the two Attack Drones before shooting a powerful green laser right at them. The blast was enough to get the Drones to stagger back, allowing Team CFVY to sprint from their hiding place and book it straight for the assault tank. The vehicle pulled to a halt before performing a three point turn so that its rear was facing the action. Then, the back ramp of the vehicle lowered down, revealing none other than Agent Six, Doctor Holiday, Winter, and… a woman that Team CFVY didn't recognize.

The four came rushing down the ramp and Winter was the first to speak up. "Is everyone okay? We came as soon as we could."

"Hah, better late than never, Winter." Coco grinned. "We were just wondering when backup would arrive…" She set her sights over to the brunette woman who was standing next to Winter, raising a single brow at her. On the one hand, Coco was perplexed at this new face… but on the other hand, that new face was quite the beauty, so she wasn't complaining. "Ooh, and who's your new friend?" she said with a smirk.

The woman saluted to Coco and stated her name. "Molly Gunther's the name. And ya'll must be Team CFVY, right? I've heard some pretty good things about ya'll." She quirked a brow at the four young Hunters. "Word is, ya'll like to tussle, that right?"

If anything, Coco's smile only increased. "That's pretty much the gist, yes. Also, I love your accent, by the way."

"Why thank ya kindly." Molly returned. "I've been told my southern drawl gets some big attention."

Coco's eyes scanned Molly up and down under her sunglasses, all while thinking to herself; 'Heh, well, that's not the only thing about ya that gets attention, sweetie.'

It was then that Molly faced Cooper and gave him a nod. "Coop, good to see ya. How've ya been?"

"Hah, been better, Molly." Cooper replied. "But I'm doing better now that you guys are here." He moved his gaze up to the assault tank, expecting there to be more Plumbers waiting in the back… but there were none. It was just Molly, Holiday, Six and Winter, and they were either armed with blasters or swords in the latter two's case. "…Uh, are you guys the only ones who came?"

"No." Six answered before pointing down the street. "Take a look." The group spun around and saw about three more Plumber tanks firing upon the giant Attack Drones, along with several other Plumbers all firing upon them. "We knew about the robot's arrival as soon as they entered Earth's atmosphere." Six continued. "We came as soon as we could."

Holiday glanced down to her and Molly's choice in weapons. "That said, I think we still may be woefully underprepared for this…"

"Perhaps…" Winter said before she unsheathed her swords, stepping up to the plate with Agent Six joining her. "But then again, you may just be in for a bit of a surprise." She set her sights onto Agent Six with a curious grin. "I look forward to seeing what you can do, Agent Six. I've heard you are quite proficient in combat."

Six nodded back to her. "I could say the same for you, given what I saw yesterday." In the blink on an eye, Six pulled out his two magna blades, the swords springing out from his sleeves before unfolding in his hands. "Now, let's take these things down."

"Right behind you." And with that, both sword wielders dashed off, with Winter creating a glyph under her feet for a bit of an extra speed boost.

This managed to take everyone by surprise. "Woah, woah, hold on!" Molly exclaimed. "Are they seriously thinkin' o' takin' those things down themselves?!"

Holiday let out a chuckle as she put her weapon away. "Oh, trust me, Molly, I think they can handle it."

"Hell yeah." Coco agreed as she gestured to her team. "Winter's got more experience than all of us combined. And Six? Well… if what I've heard from Rex is true, then we're in for a hell of a show."

…..

Winter and Six had closed in on their targets in a matter of seconds, with the green clad agent surprisingly being able to keep up with Winter even after her glyph boost. While she would have commented on his impressive speed, Winter knew that this was no time for that. For now, her focus was squarely on taking down the Attack Drones. But first, the Plumbers had to fall back if she wanted to work. "Everyone! FALL BACK!" she called out, though she quickly remembered that she was in no place to give orders. 'Damn, force of habit.'

Fortunately, Six had her back. "You heard the lady! Move, now!" At his word, the Plumbers all held their fire and began to go back to the assault tanks, which began a steady retreat.

Now that the Drones weren't being fired upon, they began to follow the retreating Plumbers in order to finish them… but were surprised when they suddenly found that they couldn't move. They spun their heads around to see that each of their hind legs had been captured by Winter and Six. The former was using a Gravity Glyph to keep one robot in place while Six put his magna blades together in a sort of tuning fork configuration, creating a powerful magnetizing force that kept the other robot from moving.

Winter was the first to make a move, creating two more Gravity Glyphs for her robot's legs, keeping them in place. Then, she planted her sword into the ground to create two more glyphs, from which came two large Alpha Beowolves. The snowy white Grimm glared at the giant machine as Winter nodded silently to the two of them, to which they dashed off in separate directions. Unable to move its legs, the Attack Drone settled for using its side-mounted turrets to blast at the Beowolves. But amazingly, the beasts were able to out run the blasts before both pounced up onto a leg, crawling up the robot as quick as they could. The Grimm slashed and bit through the robot's armor with their sharp teeth and claws, sending sparks and fluid out from the gashes they made as they continued to climb. Once they were at the side turrets, the Grimm used their strength to grab both barrels and pull them back, ripping them off with ease.

It was then that the Attack Drone had enough, and swung down its mighty arms to attack the Beowolves with its saw blades. The two Alphas attempted to get out of the way, but the robot was much too quick, and the Beowolves dissipated the moment they were hit by blades of the energy saws. …Unfortunately, due to where the Beowolves were perched, the Drone also accidentally ended up cleaving into itself with its own saw blades, trapping its arms and making Winter smirk in satisfaction.

"Gotcha." Winter made another glyph under her feet and jumped up high into the air, creating more glyphs for her to jump off of as she worked her way up toward the drone's head. The robot attempted to use its face cannon to blast at her, but she made another glyph that quickly deflected the attack toward its chest, making it double forward. With one last leap, Winter landed on top of the Attack Drone's head and quickly made her way down to its shoulder area, going right to work on slicing through the exposed wires on the back of its head.

With every wire and tube that was severed, the drone's head kept jerking around, with electricity starting to spark out of its eyes and face. Finally, Winter stabbed her sword through the very back of the drone's head, hitting a key component that caused the sparking to quickly intensify. Taking that as her cue to leave, Winter jumped off the Attack Drone just as its head blew up, landing in a crouch on the street below.

The military specialist stood up and dusted off her hands, satisfied with her work. "Hm, hardly a challenge."

Six, meanwhile, had not been so lucky in keeping his robot still. While the magnetic force from his magna blades had managed to stop it initially, the Attack Drone was still able to move under its own power, raising its hands and head in Six's direction before all three of its laser cannons lit up. Three energy blasts came surging out toward the agent, so he quickly moved out of there, separating his swords as he dashed to the side. With a silent scowl, Six rushed around the Attack Drone as it continued to keep a peg on him, blasting at him whenever he entered its range. Yet still, Six was able to bob and weave around every single blast.

He began searching for a blind spot on the robot and quickly found one; directly beneath it. On what had to be the eleventh laser blast, Six bolted for the drone's legs, jumped on it, ran up the leg itself, and then dove for the very bottom of the giant mech, stabbing his blades directly into its pointed bottom so he could hang on. Sure enough, the Attack Drone couldn't crane its head down or bend over far enough to see Six, giving him the opportunity to scale up the side of it. He kept stabbing his blades into it, using them as leverage as he climbed up its backside.

However, what he hadn't counted on was the fact that the robot could swivel its torso around, meaning that in a split second, he was staring into the blood red optics of the drone once again. The reaction was almost immediate at the nearest turret swiveled toward Six, aiming directly at him. But Six was still quick to react, pulling out one of his swords as he swung himself on the other, launching himself over to the turret before grabbing onto it and slashing both barrels cleanly off. Six jumped up and grabbed onto the Attack Drone's arm as it the turret blew up… and then slashed off the arm at the elbow for good measure.

As both pieces of the Attack Drone landed on the ground in twisted, burning metal, the robot itself began to frantically move around in an attempt to shake Six off, only for the agent to use this movement to his advantage. He let go of the swinging stub of an arm and was launched upward, quickly grabbing onto the curved part of the Attack Drone's head before jumping down to its neck. There, he quickly performed the same move that Winter did; slashing through all of the wires and making the robot freak out even more as sparks began flying everywhere.

And finally, for the coup de grace, Six leapt back up on top of the Attack Drone's head and stabbed directly into its face, making its head snap back as an electronic buzz began to be heard from it. Six took this opportunity to jump off down its back, retrieving his other blade on the way down before tuck-and-rolling into his landing. The green clad agent crouched onto one knee as the robot fell behind him, exploding in a blaze of glory.

Six stood up and put away his swords, straightening out his jacket all the while. "Far too easy."

In the end, the street was littered with the remains of the four metal giants and their small companions… and nearly everyone's jaws were on the ground after what they just witnessed. Well, everyone except Holiday and Winter, that is. The doctor wore a bright smile at her fiancé's feat, having seen him do things like this countless times. And Winter appeared to be very impressed by Six's take down, her lips parted slightly. "…My word." the white-haired woman muttered.

"Yep, that's my Six." Holiday affirmed as she went up and gave Six a quick kiss. "Excellent work as always, dear."

"The compliment is appreciated." Six said with a smile before his sights went to Cooper, Team CFVY and Molly, who were all staring at him like he had a second head. He quirked a brow as his expression became neutral once again. "…Better to not leave your mouths open like that. You never know what could fly in."

The group quickly shut their mouths and were brought back to reality, with Coco uttering; "I-I'm sorry, Agent Six, b-but… that HAD to be the most BADASS thing I've ever seen!"

"You just took down a GIANT ALIEN ROBOT!" Fox shouted, still in disbelief. "I'm freaking BLIND and even I know what you did was badass as hell!"

Yatsu picked it up from there. "You have… no super powers, no Semblance, no Aura, ranged weaponry… and you STILL took that thing down with just your skill and your swords." He ran a hand through his short hair and let out a breath. "That… had to be the most spectacular thing I've ever SEEN!"

Velvet quickly turned to Winter and bowed her head respectfully to her. "N-Not that what YOU did wasn't amazing, Winter." she assured. "They way you brought that drone down with the help of your Summons was nothing short of incredible."

Winter chuckled and bowed her head back to her. "Thank you, Velvet, I—"

"Oh my FREAKING GOD!" Winter let out a gasp as, all at once, Molly was right next to her, an ear-to-ear smile plastered right across her face as she began gushing about Winter's performance. "Winter, sugar, that had to be one a' the most impressive take downs of ANY attack robot I've ever seen in my entire Plumber career! How the heck did ya do… ANY o' that stuff?!" She wiggled her fingers around for emphasis. "Ya know, with the snowflake things an' bringing out monsters outta nowhere?"

The military specialist blinked before explaining. "O-Oh, well… it's all part of my Semblance." Winter held out her hand and created a small glyph in it. "In Remnant, every living being has an Aura, and with it, comes a special power known as a "Semblance". And my Semblance is being able to create glyphs, which runs in the family." Winter then made the glyph dissipate into nothing. "I'm able to do many things with them, including combine them with Dust and summon defeated enemies with them, like what you just saw."

"S-So…" Molly pointed to where the white beasts once were. "Those things were…"

"Grimm, yes." Winter confirmed. "I'm able to summon quite a few, actually." She smiled to her new acquaintance and gave her a nod. "Perhaps I could show you sometime?"

"Ha! You kiddin'? That sounds amazin'!" Molly agreed wholeheartedly.

"Ahem." Six clearing his throat brought everyone's attention to him, giving him the opportunity to speak. "While I get the want to celebrate, we still have a lingering question on our hands." He gestured over to the wreckage in the middle of the street. "Who built these robots and sent them to this planet? Things like this don't just happen out of nowhere."

"Uh, actually…" the group all turned toward Cooper, who stepped up to Six with a serious expression on his face. "I already know who these robots belong to. The design is all too familiar." He set his sights out to everyone and said; "These robots… belong to Vilgax."

Team CFVY, who already knew about this, eyed the robots somewhat apprehensively as Holiday and Molly both wore shocked faces. Winter was also stunned by the news as she faced Six, trying to get a gauge one what he was thinking. As always, the man's expression was steadfast, though his brows were furrowed at the gravity of the situation. He knew what had to be done. "…Contact Max and the others back at base. And then get the team on the horn ASAP. They'll all want to know about this."

…..

A/N: Hoo boy, well, that ain't good. Seems that Vilgax has finally made his move. Though there doesn't seem to be any sign of ol' Squidface himself? Wonder why that is? Well, in any case, what a battle, huh? We got plenty of Team CFVY action, we got Cooper doing what he does best and putting a weapon together out of metal components, Winter got an impressive take down of her own, AND we got our very first piece of Agent Six action! His fight scene was admittedly a bit harder to write for since he doesn't banter, but hey, it was something different, so there's that.

But of course, that's not ALL we had! We got the introduction of Cooper's parents (expect to see them a few more times), as well as them meeting Team CFVY and, of course, Coco. And quite the first meeting it was, especially when it came to Cooper's mother. She DEFINITELY seems excited about her son having a girlfriend, no doubt. Also, in an interesting little development on the Plumber's side of things, Winter has made acquaintances with Molly Gunther. You may know her as the future leader of Alpha Squad. Special thanks to HarryBuilder for the idea, because when he suggested it to me, I thought; "Ooh, wait, that could actually work quite well". Oh, and of course, Magister Patelliday has made his debut here as well.

Alright, so, as stated above, next week will be the last chapter of "Transformers MHA, Arc 1" before I make my full, weekly return to this fic, so be on the look out on June 18th for the next chapter! With that said, NEXT TIME! The team returns to Bellwood and learns about what just went down in their absence, complete with seeing the remains of the robots as they're returned to the Plumber Base. However, when they get close to the wrecked drones, they'll find that they're in for quite the unexpected and unwanted surprise. Also, the team take a moment to talk about the strange encounter that Ruby and Penny had that day, and just what it could possibly mean. Thanks for reading, everybody and I'll see you all next time! Stay safe out there!
