"Welcome, Mr Midoriya, to your Support Academia!"

Izuku looked at the screen with a smile on his face as the hero on the screen, Principal Nezu himself, told him how well he had done on his entrance exam. The device went dark a few seconds later, leaving Izuku alone in his room.

Sighing softly, he pushed on the controls for his wheelchair, turning around and rolling out of the room slowly, looking up to his mum, who had an excited look on her face. "Honey! What did they say? Did you get in?"

Izuku smiled at her enthusiasm, nodding. His face lit up a little more as Inko leaned down and crushed him in a hug, squeezing as tight as she could. He raised his arms, a difficult task as usual, and placed them on her back, hugging her as well.

"I'm so proud of you honey! I knew that you'd get it! You've always been the smartest kid around! And your Quirk analysis is spectacular!"

Izuku blushed and mumbled out an embarrassed thank you, and Inko let go of him, before skipping happily over to the kitchen, humming to herself.

Izuku watched her rush around the kitchen and prepare Katsudon - to celebrate his acceptance - with a small smile on his face. He was happy to get into UA.

He just wished he could have gone into the Hero Course. But that wasn't possible for someone stuck in a wheelchair like he was.

The wheelchair he was bound to due to his Quirk.

-11 Years Earlier-

"Oh hello there Ms Midoirya! You and young Izuku are here for his Quirk check-up aren't you?"

Inko smiled brightly to the nurse at the desk, nodding her head. Izuku was to her right, bouncing up and down. He was very excited for his Quirk to come in. He couldn't wait to see what it was!

The nurse smiled back at the both of them. "Just so you're aware, Dr. Tsubasa is out on business elsewhere today, so you will be consulted by another doctor. Is that OK?"

Inko looked down at Izuku, who was practically vibrating as he looked up at her and nodded. She hummed. "That should be fine. When can we go in?"

The nurse tapped at her computer for a second. "It will just be a few moments. Dr Shikibetsu will be ready for you in a moment."

Inko nodded and took Izuku over to the seating area, listening intently as Izuku pulled out a notebook filled with all of the possible Quirks that he could get and ranted about them. It was actually quite interesting to hear Izuku's theories.

The list of possible combinations that Inko's and Hisashi's Quirks could generate was a lot larger than she had originally thought, but it didn't bother her. She was happy that her son was so smart.

After a few minutes of listening to Izuku rank his possible Quirks by how good they were (apparently he thought that there was a possibility for him to get total control over fire? That would be a wonderful Quirk!), a doctor came out of the doorway and smiled.

"Ms. Midoirya? Please come with me. Young Izuku, let's see what your Quirk is!"

Izuku was up and running towards Dr. Shikibetsu before Inko had even stood up. The doctor laughed and waved them into the room. They reached the examination room, and the doctor took Izuku over to a small metal bench, sitting the boy down.

"Alright. Today we will be using my Quirk, Information Gatherer, to find out what your Quirk will be! There won't be any pain, but you may feel a little weird, I haven't used it for this purpose much."

Inko looked over to the doctor. "Are you sure it's safe, then?"

Doctor Shikibetsu nodded. "It's 100% safe, Izuku will just feel a little odd. You have my word on this, Ms Midoriya."

Inko looked over to Izuku, who was sitting still, patiently waiting. "Alright then. If you promise that it's safe."

The doctor moved over to Izuku and placed his hand on the boy's back, a small blue light appearing on his palm. It took a few moments, and then the man almost physically jumped back away from Izuku, an excited smile on his face.

"Oh my goodness!"

Inko looked over at the doctor, a worried look on her face. "What's the matter? Is something wrong?"

The doctor shook his head. "Nothing's wrong! Nothing at all! I have excellent news for the both of you! You'll never have to worry about Izuku's safety, Ms. Midoriya!"

Shikibetsu grabbed a piece of paper and the two Midoriya's watched in amazement as words started to appear on it. But before Izuku could get into a muttering storm about it, the doctor passed the page over.

And at the very top of the page was the name of his Quirk, written in a bold font. Inko gasped as she read it, wondering how something like that was possible. Izuku was just as excited.

Who wouldn't be excited with a Quirk like [Invulnerability]?

The sky was a clear blue as Izuku rolled his way through the front gates of UA.

The small whirring of the motor gained him some attention from the other students who had arrived at the same time, but it barely registered in Izuku's brain. He was so used to it, the noise was barely there for him.

As he approached the stairs, he pushed a button on the right armrest and felt the chair shift slightly, the wheels changing into something that could more easily climb the stairs. When he reached the top, the wheels reverted back into their regular form, and he continued rolling along.

It was like a big joke. Out of all the possible Quirks that Izuku had thought of as a kid, he never would have imagined that he would become invincible. And what was worse, he wished he wasn't.

It was a niche mutation of his parents Quirk's. His father's insides were completely immune to fire, and his mother could exert a physical force on things. Add in a little bit of evolution, and you got Izuku's Quirk. His body was completely immune to most forces.

It sounded great on paper, but when you thought about it, it was more of a curse. His muscles fibres were invincible too, meaning that he had no way of becoming stronger as he grew up, at least not any further than normal as he grew in size.

At the grand age of 15, Izuku had the approximate strength of a 7-year-old. This means that it took a large amount of effort just to stand up, let alone fight. It was ironic. His dream of becoming a hero had been ignited like a furnace when he discovered his Quirk, but his Quirk was the reason he wasn't able to be one.

It was like a big cosmic joke.

And Izuku's dream was the punchline.

"Greetings, Class 1-F, and welcome to UA!"

Power Loader spread his arms as he looked over the students in his class this year. He knew they were a good batch of kids, and he was especially excited about two of them. Mei Hatsume and Izuku Midoriya.

Mei Hatsume was one of the best self-taught inventors he had ever seen before, and the girl was an absolute whiz with prototyping and the development of gadgets. He could see a bright future in the support business for her.

Izuku Midoriya, on the other hand, was an analyst through and through. Power Loader hadn't done Izuku's entrance exam, the Analytics course was Nezu's domain, but the glowing praise that the rat had given the boy was telling.

Nezu had told Power Loader about the boy's gift for pulling apart scenarios, and his scarily accurate analysis of a Quirk's abilities and drawbacks, even with very little information. And he had read a few pages of one of the boy's notebooks. The kid was gonna go far in Analytics.

Really, the only reason that Izuku was in his class at all was because of the sheer lack of Analytics students that had been happening these last few years. People were much more focused on support items and costume design than they were about analysis.

"Today we'll be doing some basic ice-breakers to let you get to know one another. Yea yea, I know you're all excited about building your ideas, or getting right into your work, but knowing your classmates is important. Gather around everyone."

It took a few minutes, and there were a lot of complaints, but eventually, the class was sitting on chairs in a circle. Power Loader hummed. "Alright, basic introductions now! Name and Quirk, and then we can move onto some introductory procedures for the Support Course."

"Yes sir."

"The name is Mei Hatsume! Future CEO of Hatsume industries!"

Izuku was honestly a little impressed with the students around him. Even if he was doing a different course to them, they were his classmates. Hatsume especially seemed incredibly confident.

"My Quirk is Zoom! I can zoom in on things up to 5 kilometers away from me with my eyes! I use it to help with welding and observing people from afar so I can find out what babies I should make for them!"

Izuku smiled at that, chuckling as the girl sat back down next to him. The rest of his classmates then turned to him, and he rolled forward a little bit.

"Hello everyone, my name is Izuku Midoriya, and my Quirk is Invulnerability. Basically I can't be hurt by anything. Me being in this wheelchair is a side effect of that."

Izuku was about to roll backwards when he heard a girl scoff. "Yea right. Being invincible put you in a wheelchair? What kind of bullshit is that? What's your actual Quirk? And please don't lie this time, it's kinda pathetic."

He growled as he turned towards the girl, who had dark blue skin and hair made of what looked like copper wire, a sneer on her face.

Izuku saw Power Loader about to speak up, but held his hand out to the man, and turned his wheelchair towards the girl.

"Meiwakuna Meinu. Quirk: Cooper Hair. Only just made it through the entrance exam, and very self conscious about that fact, if your interactions with our classmates are anything to go off."

He saw the girl glare at him, but he could see the glint of worry in her eyes. "If you thought about what I said for a moment, you would have realised why I'm stuck in a wheelchair, dumbass. Think before you speak, and better yet? Don't speak to me at all."

There was silence for a moment, and Izuku just rolled his wheelchair back into the circle and his head down, while Power Loader stood up.

"Alright guys, how about we move onto the safety demonstration? Follow me please."

As Izuku and the rest of the class nodded, thankful to move onto a less tense situation.

Izuku made sure to be at the back, so that his chair wasn't in anyone's way. And because he was back there, Mei Hatsume caught him easily.

"Hey there. Are you really invincible?"

Izuku nodded to the girl, feeling a bit uneasy at the manic smile the girl had. She bounced up and down. "One: that's really cool, don't listen to Ms Wire-Head over there. Two: I'll build you an exo suit and get you walking around if you agree to be my testing partner for my babies!"

Izuku's mouth dropped open as he stared up at the girl. His voice caught a little as she smiled. "You would do that?"

Mei's smile just grew wider. "Hell yea I would! A simple little walking assister suit in return for a test subject that can't be hurt by my babies exploding? It's a wonderful deal on my end, Mr Crash Test Dummy!"

'Crash Test Dummy?!' He sighed, already knowing that he was going to accept, even with the nickname she had given him. "Alright Hatsume, I'm in."

The girl clapped him on the shoulder. "I knew you would be! Just give me around a week, maybe a week and a half, and I'll have a prototype ready for ya!"

As she skipped away from him and towards Power Loader, instantly starting to bug him about workshop time, Izuku smiled one of the first true smiles he had in a very long time. He already couldn't wait for Mei to finish the suit.

He knew that he wasn't going to regret this deal.
