"Oh come now, Skull. You said you wanted to try something fun! Now we do something fun. Hm~?" She leaned against his back, watching closely as he worked. They were both perfectly adequate at the task of sewing, but Skull Man had the benefit of not needing a thimble while he hand-stitched. "I am sure everyone will find it enjoyable. Do not worry!" Almost an impossible request, but Skull certainly gave it a try. Soon the dress was 'complete', and Kalinka slipped it on...most of it trailing on the ground. "Okay, now bend over."
A few moments later, Bright Man stood alone in the kitchen. Bright Man was subject to two frequent problems: number one, his favorite snack, Turkish Delight, originated in the Ottoman Empire, and Dr. Cossack had no respect for the Turks. As such, all boxes of the goods were placed in the highest shelves in the kitchen, where he would not have to look at them. Number two, playing directly into number one...Bright Man was quite short.
"OHHH HO HO HO!" Miss Kalinka's voice rang into the room, forcing Bright Man to turn his head and break his concentration on solving the problem before him. "Ow!" The laughter was similarly broken as Kalinka bonked her head against the low door frame. She rubbed at it while it seemed her hips were profusely apologizing. "Bright Man! Are you having trouble?" She asked sweetly, after telling her hips to be quiet.
The bulbed boy stared up in a bit of shock and disbelief, before his lips curled into an amazed smile. "Wow! Miss, you've gotten tall! Or...oh goodness, I'm shrinking! SOMEONE HELP!" Bright sank to his knees, holding on tight to his lightbulb in a makeshift fetal position. Kalinka grinned nervously and bent over at the waist to try and pick him up...still much too high in the air to manage it.
"No, no, Bright Man! Today, I am the TALLEST COSSACK IN THE WORLD! Did you need something?" She asked in a helpful tone, deciding to stand back up. Bright Man blinked a few times before smiling again, rising back to his feet. "Yes! The Doctor has put my snacks away where I can not reach, and...Dust Man has the broom I usually use."
"Oh, okay." She spoek simply, reaching out to a cabinet and quickly plucking Bright's favored treats from the back of the shelf. She bent over to try and hand them to their proper owner...apparently finding the task difficult still. "A-Ah...ehem, for my next trick, my robotic helper hands!" She whispered to her waist again, and a hand clad in white armor snuck out of her dress to accept the box and pass it down to Bright Man. "Ta-daaa. Another job well done for THE TALLEST COSSACK IN THE WORLD! Ow."
Bright Man grimmaced as Kalinka accidentally bumped into the door frame on her way out. "If this is going to be a frequent condition, I could ask the Doctor if we could make the doors higher?"
She rubbed her forehead, waving a non-chalant hand back at her brother to let him know she was okay. "It should definitely wear off before tomorrow, do not worry~"
