This is the 46th chapter of the crossover story. With the first fight of the Hero Faction is over, it's time for the second part of the season 4 where Rias and her peerage have an upcoming match against Sairaorg and his peerage. So, thank you guys for reading this story.

Underworld
After returning from Kyoto last night, Rias and Akeno were furious that Issei haven't told them about the fight with the Hero Faction and Yasaka being kidnapped. Azazel and Virgil save them for trouble when they told the two that they've got their hands full from the fight with the Hero Faction, much to Issei's relief that the white-haired l'Cie manage to get them to calm down. Of course, he and Kuroka have received by a happy Koneko when he returned.
But, Koneko had briefly gone into a shock stillness upon focusing on Virgil. When she become cognizant again, Virgil told her that he and Kuroka were married at Kyoto which the couple have showed the engagement necklaces as proof for the marriage.
Fortunately, Koneko was actually happy about the turn of events, wishing the couple well and commenting that they were like a real family now which she officially became Virgil's sister-in-law. Azazel have given them the news that Ravel will be transferred in Kuoh Academy soon to study Japan and she'll be enrolled as a first-year student like Koneko and Gasper, much to her annoyance which she doesn't get along with Ravel.
Currently, they're in the Underworld where Issei, Kiba, Rias, and Koneko were on stage while having the kids and the adults entertained. Virgil doesn't want any part of this because those kids really loved the Red Dragon Emperor, but what got him surprised was that he was more popular than Issei because of how much he fights out of selfless act and he fights for what he believes while having the courage to save the world from the Khaos Brigade, just like the Six Heroes of Gran Pulse. It also got him surprise was that the kids really like that song 'My Hands' because it touch their hearts along with the adults, and the Peerage members from the different Households which they mostly respects him like both a hero and a warrior. But they also congratulates Virgil and Kuroka, wishing them happiness since news from the Underworld spreads like wildfire.
The only thing he did is given those kids autographs, even though he's not use to this. However, Issei did try his best to encourage him to get those children happy while getting him on the stage for the kids show, much to his annoyance which he reluctantly accepts. The reason is because of Issei's popularity grows, mainly because of his perverseness it related to him grabbing women's breast which it very much annoys the white haired l'Cie, the kids liked it and it gets to the point where they wanted the two to perform a show. However, Virgil's popularity have also grows but it was better than the Red Dragon Emperor because of the Six Heroes of Gran Pulse fights for what they believe to save Serah and to save Gran Pulse, also because Virgil have fought for what he believes. So for the performance, Virgil played as the l'Cie Hero and Issei as the Grabbin' Dragon.
"Oh no, kids! The l'Cie Hero and the Grabbin' Dragon are in a real pinch, we have to say the magic words to send them out strength! All Together!"
When the kids cheered for Virgil and Issei, then jumped on the stage when the Red Dragon Emperor is on Balance Breaker while Virgil is on the Knight of Etro attire.
"I will refuse to fall here!" Issei shouts with enthusiasm. "Thanks for lending the audiences powers made me even stronger!"
"Were not out yet, my rival is still at large for having your princess as hostage." Virgil added with a glare, not enjoying the show.
Suddenly they heard laughing as they turned around to see Kiba in a costume as Darkness Knight Fang while Rias is tied up next to him.
"Give it up already, you hansy pansies." Kiba mocks evilly.
"Low blow!?" Issei exclaims.
"Fang, you will pay for capturing the princess." Virgil shouts, pointing his gunblade at him.
"The result will stay the same, I'm the Darkness Knight, Fang." Kiba/Fang said with an evil smirk.
"Help, someone save me! Let a heroes, no, better the l'Cie Hero and the Grabbin' Dragon." Rias shouts with reluctance, embarrassed as she sighed.
Virgil couldn't help but give Rias a sympathetic look on his face which she's not the only who feels embarrassed.
'Believe me Rias, I don't like it as much as you do, but I'm blaming Issei for getting me into this.' Virgil mentally thought.
With that, Issei and Virgil are starting to pretend fighting against Kiba with the special effects, lights and smoke coming from the stage, the kids and the adults are enjoying this entertainment while in the back, everyone else was watching the show. Kiba/Fang then took a step back as he spoke.
"Curse you fiends!?" Kiba/Fang cursed when Issei was about to hit him, but Kiba/Fang then dodges thanks to the wires, laughed evilly as he landed while slamming his sword down, causing the purple lights to head towards Issei and Virgil, causing the white-haired l'Cie to block with his shield while pretending that he was using his paradigm to use a sentinel role as the smoke explodes. "Have you had enough yet?"
Virgil then charge after Kiba/Fang to attack with his gunblade, but Kiba/Fang quickly blocks while caught off-guard as he free himself from the struggle.
"That's impossible!? How were you able to withstand my attack?" Kiba/Fang questions.
"I use my ability to block your attack. Thanks to that, me and the Grabbin' Dragon were unscathed." Virgil stated, points his gunblade at him.
Meanwhile at the back stage...
"This show's pretty good." Xenovia said with a smile.
"Yeah, and the acting is all point." Gasper agrees.
"Personally, I like the special effects and wire-work action." Akeno said with a smile.
"It looks like they did a lot of research on kid shows in the human world to prepare." Rossweisse points out.
"Yeah, but I don't think Virgil is enjoying this performance. He's much more of a warrior than an actor." Kuroka told them with a small smile. "Also, I don't think Virgil isn't going to like what comes next."
While back on the stage...
"You put up a good fight, the both of you." Kiba/Fang compliments with a smirk. "But the result will stay the same, it's over."
"Curses! If only the princess were by my side, then I can power-up." Issei cursed, looking up until the stage got dark.
'Oh God...' Virgil mentally thought, shook his head with annoyance.
[Grabbin' Dragon, now is the time for your special move.]
"Of course! Let's go!" Issei said excitedly as he stood up. "SUMMON: TICKLE-BITTIES!"
Rias then suddenly rise up from the stage with a blush of embarrassment.
"It's the Princess!" Issei yelled as he approaches her. "Please forgive me. Here we go kids, say it with me. 'Boop, Boop, Go!"
The kids did the same finger gesture like Issei did, but Virgil just stood silent, not wanted to say it when Issei looked at him as he spoke.
"Come on, l'Cie Hero! You need to do it too!" Issei told him, causing Virgil to growl with annoyance.
'Ask me to perform again and you're deadman!?' Virgil mentally thought with a dark glare, sending Issei a message which the Red Dragon Emperor got it loud and clear, making him really scared. Virgil then sighed with reluctance. "Boop, Boop, Go!"
Virgil still didn't like that idea when the special effects change to act like Issei's been powered up along with the pyrotech.
'Someone kill me.' Virgil mentally thought, feeling embarrassed.
"It worked! Now that I have all the power I need!" Issei shouts when the red light shines.
"That's enough of your nonsense." Kiba/Fang said with a smirk, raise his sword as he charges after Issei.
"DRAGON KICK!" Issei yelled, making a flying kick gesture as they clash while the pyrotech follows the effect. Kiba/Fang was then defeated.
"The Grabbin's Dragon and the l'Cie Hero has won the battle and it's all thanks to our lovely audiences."
The kids then cheered for Virgil and Issei. They then started waving at the crowd which they like the entertainment as the announcer then spoke.
"But wait, who's that? Up on that pillar! Is it a bird? Is it a plane?"
Koneko then revealed herself when she pulled the cloak, dressed as the Little Hell Cat.
"No! It's Little Hell Cat!?"
"Meow." Koneko said in a blank expression.
The older men in the crowd started to cheer loudly for Koneko which it made Virgil really angry and his temper begins to flare up as he use his paradigm to activate ravager when he was about to use his magic, but was held back by Kiba and Issei.
"Whoa, easy Virgil." Kiba said, tried to calm him down.
"Dude, calm down." Issei added.
"I'll kill them...I'm gonna kill them!" Virgil yelled angrily.
After the show, Issei, Kiba, and Virgil were in the locker room getting themselves cleaned up. Virgil was finally able to calm down since he lost his temper few minutes ago.
"Man, the crowd really loves you and Virgil, Issei." Kiba told him.
"Nah, only the little kids cheered for me." Issei corrects him. "But all the fine mamacitas in the crowd totally creamed their pants when you and Virgil got up on stage. Seriously, not a dry seat in the house."
Virgil and Kiba then finished cleaning themselves up as he spoke.
"Hey sorry about the crowd, didn't think it would be that nuts." Issei apologizes to Virgil, but only got a silent respond. "You really didn't like to perform, do you?"
"No I don't." Virgil told him. "That was only a one time performance, so don't ask me to do it again."
"Don't worry I won't, but still, those kids really cheered for you." Issei said. "Besides, they really want to see you perform again."
"Yeah, no." Virgil said with second thoughts, causing Issei and Kiba to sweat drop.
Virgil then left the locker room while Issei was helping Irina getting that outfit on which it was a bit tight. He then saw his wife and his sister-in-law in front of him as he spoke.
"Hey." Virgil greets with a smile.
"Hey Virgil." Kuroka greets back. "Guess you didn't expect something like this?"
"No, it's just a bit annoying whenever they've come up the idea about 'breasts'." Virgil points out while shook his head, earned a nod from his wife with an understanding. "Issei may have heart, but he's been a bad influence to those kids."
"Well, hopefully our kids don't grow up as perverts like that mock-muppet." Koneko said with a blank expression, causing Virgil to sweat drop of her remark. "Our kids will grow up for whatever they want to be, but not a pervert."
Kuroka then giggled, but got a kick from the babies inside of her, causing her to hold her belly.
"I think our triplets get the idea." Virgil said with a smile. "Also, that's something for them to decide when their older."
Kuroka and Koneko give him a nod with an agreement as they begin to leave the stage.
Town of Kuoh
Few hours later, Virgil, Kuroka, and Koneko were inside of house about to have dinner when they heard a knock on the door as the white-haired l'Cie head towards the door, revealed to be Issei which he was feeling a bit down.
"What's wrong?" Virgil asks.
"How...How did you and Kuroka get together?" Issei questions, leaving Virgil confused but realize what this is about.
"When I first met Kuroka, she was hurt pretty bad when I found her in the alley and having her staying in my house, I've found out about her dark past and helping her clear the innocence. And yeah we dated, not to mention done the deed many times." Virgil explains. "After the fight against Kyoto, Yasaka was asking me if I'm planning to marry Kuroka which apparently, my family, my friends, and you already knew that I'm in a relationship with her. Of course, I would accept, but it's been a change of plans since I decided to marry her on my own since I'm eligible enough for marriage. So I ask Kuroka to marry me, and next thing, she accepts."
"Do you ever regret of marrying her?" Issei asks.
"No, not at all. I know that she deserves a good life and she'll be a good mother for taking care of the children." Virgil shook his head. "But Issei, you should try and confess to Rias soon. You won't know until you try."
"You knew?" Issei asks with shock.
"It's not that hard to figure it out." Virgil told him. "Like I said, you won't know until you try. You maybe a pervert for the most part, but you have heart. I'm sure she'll accept you along with everyone else."
Issei then smiled which he knew that the white-haired l'Cie is right.
"Thanks, dude." Issei thanked him, earned a nod from him.
With that, Issei then left the house. Virgil then sighed which he's not the only one who knows about Issei been in love with Rias. Of course, everyone knows that both Rias and Issei are in love which the Red Dragon Emperor needs to confess with her sooner or later.
Kuoh Academy
The next day, the students of Kuoh are getting ready for the school festival since it's coming for a few days. They also heard that Ravel Phenex have enrolled in Kuoh Academy as a first-year student which she's a bit nervous when Issei and Rias were watching while Virgil was leaning against the wall. Some of the first-year students were asking Ravel a variety of questions which she was filling a bit nervous, doesn't know what to say.
"I wanted to check on Ravel since she just transferred here." Rias said quietly. "Is it me or does she seem a little nervous?"
"The latter." Virgil answered simply. "Which to me, I wasn't expecting that she's nervous. But as far as I can tell, it's her first time here."
"Yeah, which it's like a hell a weird." Issei agrees. "I thought she'd be all like..."
He thought Ravel would be all haughty, laughing arrogantly at the students while stood up with her foot placed at the top of her desk, thinking of the line like 'Ask me or questions, mortals and I shall answer you!'.
"...She's so normal." Issei said with a chuckle.
Virgil then sighed since his first time in Kuoh Academy a while back went a bit crazy for him, not liking to draw a crowd which he earned a reputation between 'Ice Demon of Kuoh' and 'Snow White'. Ravel then stood up as she walked out of the door and immediately notice Virgil as she embraced him.
"Virgil! I missed you!" Ravel said happily.
"Hey Ravel." Virgil greets her, embraced her. "Guess you're not use to it?"
"Yeah." Ravel nods as she release him. "This is the first time I'm ever transferred schools and seen as I'm a Devil and all, but I have no idea how am I interact with overly curious human teenagers."
"Sucks to be you right now." Issei said with a small smile.
"That's to be expected." Virgil added.
"I can see how that might be a little nerve wracking for you. So, perhaps we can find a classmate that you might be familiar with." Rias suggest, placing her hand under chin.
Rias, Issei, and Virgil then called out Koneko when she meet us in the classroom.
"Yo, what a due." Koneko greets.
"We have a favor to ask you, can you be Ravel's friend and help get adjusted to this school?" Virgil offered.
"Sure, whatevs." Koneko accepts, turned her head to Ravel. "Besides, cats love fried chicken."
"Did you just called me a chicken?" Ravel questions with annoyance.
"Yeah, so?" Koneko said without hesitation.
"How dare you!? You still have the audacity to insult the member of the Phenex family!?" Ravel shouts with anger.
Virgil couldn't help but shook his head with annoyance, had a feeling of deja vu again.
"You've only been at this school for one day and you're already cause a bunch of problems for the Prez, pervert, and my brother-in-law. So all things considered, you're lucky I stopped a fried chicken." Koneko insults.
"Well, better a fried chicken than a little pussy!?" Ravel retorts.
"Wish granted." Koneko said, making Ravel angry.
"That's enough you two, stop fighting!" Virgil shouts with annoyance, had enough of their arguments.
"Who side are you on?" Koneko questions while staring at him along with Ravel, causing Virgil to bonk their heads as they rub their heads.
"No fighting in school!" Virgil scolds them. "Can you two at least get along please, for me?"
"Fine..." Koneko and Ravel said in unison with reluctance, rubbing their sore heads.
Virgil then smiled a little as he pat their heads.
"Thank you." Virgil thanked them, causing Koneko and Ravel to embrace him, but glaring at each other as he then sighed. 'This is gonna take a while.'
Both Issei and Rias were surprised that it worked quickly thanks to Virgil, but only a little bit so they decided to have Gasper to keep an eye on the two.
Kuoh Academy, Occult Research Club Room
After school, Virgil and the others head towards the old school building so they can get ready for the school festival. They're making some horror props for the haunted mansion, polishing a crystal ball for the fortune-telling, and making a maid costumes for the maid café. Kiba and Issei were outside, cutting wood for props while thinking up a strategy for the upcoming Rating Game since the white-haired l'Cie won't be participating, but the only option was that he can train Rias and her peerage in order for them to get stronger.
The only thing about her Peerage was that Kiba have been practicing with Tosca while learning a new techniques since he wanted to keep it a secret. Both Koneko and Asia have practiced not only each other, but with Virgil in order for them to get stronger. Asia was able to get well adept in combat and her magic is getting stronger while Koneko's Senjutsu is starting to grew stronger, but not on the same level as her sister. Virgil then approaches the two as he spoke.
"I can see you guys were talking about something." Virgil said, earned their attention. "What's going on?"
"Were talking about the upcoming Rating Game since you're not participating." Issei told him. "Where were you? I thought you were helping us."
"Was about to, but Azazel pulled off the last minute thing. You know how he is." Virgil stated with a shrug.
"Okay, so is he still in the meeting?" Issei asks with confusion.
"He is since Rossweisse, Kalawarner, and Mittelt were keeping him on a short leash during the meeting. I taught those three of how to use a death glare and dark aura." Virgil explains, leaving Issei shivered down to his spine. "Anyway, he wants me to let Ddraig know that he found of the counselor."
Until, the green jewel revealed itself from Issei's hand as Ddraig spoke.
[Thanks, sorry for the trouble.]
"Why does he need a talk to a counselor?" Issei asks with confusion.
"After the Kyoto incident, Ddraig is having a serious amount of depression. Basically, he's using Fafnir's orb to ask if Azazel can help him find a counselor for his issues." Virgil explains. "The words like 'breasts' are pretty much a big trigger for him. He's pretty much into a downward spiral."
That got Issei off-guard with shock, didn't even know that Ddraig was depressed as he spoke to the Welsh Dragon.
"Seriously, bro!?" Issei exclaims.
[Yes I can't seem to get over it, but don't worry about me. Regardless of how I feel, you should be able to power up when needed.]
"Apparently, those perverted antics of yours are pretty hard on him. I mean, not everyone is as perverted as you are. Ddraig is the Heavenly Dragon for crying out loud, he's suppose to be a creature full of dignity and honor." Virgil stated with a sigh. "It's not surprising it makes him upset when you're using breasts to power up."
"Yeah, I guess I never really thought of it like that before." Issei said, knew that the white-haired l'Cie is right. "You know now that you've mention it, Ddraig does seem to cry anytime I use Rias nift to get super swaft or whatever."
[I'm sorry, it seems my spirit isn't as strong as I thought it was. I'm ashamed.]
"Yeah, you shouldn't have to apologize just because your dude it total boob-loving man whore who relies to the girls nips to power up. I'm sorry." Issei cried with an apology.
"It's not easy for Azazel to find a counselor who specializes in dragon. He'll let you know for the contact info." Virgil told him when he about to leave, notice that Gasper is revealing himself.
"Please train me, Virgil!" Gasper pleaded as he bow his upper body. His eyes were scrunched and his fists were tightly clenched as his sides from nervousness.
The white-haired l'Cie raise his eyebrow with confusion and surprisingly, the dhampir is asking him for training. What also got him surprised is that he's wearing a male school uniform and the cardboard box or the paper bag is nowhere to be found.
"What brought this on, Gasper?" Virgil inquired, folding his arms. "You can stand up, there's no need for bowing."
Gasper then shot up ramrod straight with his eyes shining undiscernibly.
"I want to be strong!" Gasper declared passionately, raise his fists up. "I don't want to be a burden to Rias or Issei or to have them worry about me whenever I'm in battle. I want to be able to fight and defend myself even without my Sacred Gear or my vampire abilities, so that I can't be captured or taken out early again. And...I don't want to be such a coward anymore!"
"Gaspy wants to become more of a man." Koneko suddenly remarked, causing the male pair caught off-guard. The white-haired nekoshou decided to investigate after hearing his voice.
"Eh, Koneko!?" Gasper spluttered with embarrassment. "Um, that's not really what I've had in mind...but it wouldn't be a bad thing either, right?"
Virgil then begin to think about his request.
Since Gasper have already received help for his Sacred Gear from Azazel and Issei, but he thought about requesting physical training from Virgil while working on his self-esteem issues and gradually. The fact about him was that he manage to walk in public without the aid of the cardboard box or a paper bag is a huge achievement. Though Gasper claimed it was only because he had to face his fears, but he's still a bit jumpy. He then finished thinking as he spoke.
"I guess I can spare you for a few hours since the school festival is coming up along with the Rating Game." Virgil told him. "When do you want to start?"
"Could we do one or two hours now, then again in the evenings?" Gasp suggests. "Same for tomorrow too?"
"That works for me." Virgil nods with confirmation. "You want to continue with that for next week and after?"
"Yes." Gasper nods.
"Virgil." Koneko called her brother-in-law, earned his attention. "I also want to help Gaspy's training. He's an old and important friend."
"Koneko..." Gasper muttered with his eyes welled up with moisture.
"Sure." Virgil nods, accepts her permission. "For now, let's make the basic timetable for your training. We'll need to split it to properly accommodate for physical conditioning as well as practice and sparring."
Gasper accepts as he then get his gear to get ready for his training while Koneko lets Asia know that they'll be having a new trainee which happens to be the dhampir. Virgil then begin to chuckle a bit, knew that he's got a lot of work in his hands besides taking care of Kuroka.
Town of Kuoh
After they finish the club activities for the day, Virgil, Asia, Koneko, and Gasper were in the basement, training the dhampir for physical training which, he could use a lot of work. Gasper was panting heavily while lying on the floor, covered in sweat from being made to go through some multiple sets of stretches, muscle conditioning, and cardio. He then weakly rolled over so that he was lying on his back, looking at the ceiling while Virgil stands over him with a little frown on his face.
"You've got a long way to go." Virgil remarked.
"Virgil, you're a slave driver...I've never felt so tired in my life." Gasper whines with exhaustion, closed his eyes.
"Well the bright side is you did pretty decent for a little man who never worked out before." Virgil reassures. "Besides, burning your muscles is important and it proves that you're improving."
Both Koneko and Asia have finished their spar as the blonde girl crouched down beside her fellow Bishop with a bottle of cold water in her hand.
"Here you go." Asia offered with a smile.
"Thanks, Asia." Gasper thanked her with a groan as he sat up and took the bottled water.
But, Koneko is also beside him with smile across her features which it's both encouraging and something off.
"Best to refresh yourself while you can." Koneko told him. "After all, you still have to go through practice and forms with Virgil, then combat sparring against me. I'll make sure to beat you into shape, Gaspy."
"Waaaah! Koneko Is Evil!" Gasper shouts with tears in his eyes.
"Yes, I'm a Devil and a Hellcat." Koneko nods, causing both Asia and Virgil to chuckle a bit which it was pretty funny.
"Come on Koneko, don't bully him. Last thing we need is him running away from us and refusing us to train him." Virgil told her, focusing on Gasper. "But Gasper, drink up and get ready. The next part shouldn't be too hard, I'm just going to get you learn the basics, nothing strenuous."
The rest of them agreed as time flew by. Virgil was able to give him some basic methods that Lightning, Snow, and Noel have given him long ago, gotten the dhampir started on proper stance, combat, and magic. Despite his complete lack of his previous experience, Gasper had been resolute in his determination, always giving it his absolute best and remembered the methods that the white-haired l'Cie have told him.
Sparring against Koneko and learning magic from Asia was for the purpose of ingraining theory into his muscle memory and building up his combat instinct through repeating practice while the magic ingrained in theory of building up his mana and learn about the basic magics. Nevertheless, Gasper was able to learn the wind, time, cure, and lightning magic while trying to use it in combat, but was utterly defeated by the white-haired nekoshou, but he soldiered on through with tears and pain.
Eventually, the training have reach to a conclusion. Virgil let Gasper use his showers to get clean up and cool off after which, he was invited to replenish himself by joining in for the meal prepared by Kuroka. Once they were all finished, Gasper said his farewell and returned to his own residence, stating that he'd return in the early morning.
Virgil knew that Gasper still got a lot of work ahead of him, even though he's making a little progress which it's to be expecting since he just got his training done for the day. They then begin to turn in for the night since Gasper will be in for tomorrow morning while having the three getting ready for the upcoming Rating Game.
