Previously on Gone in the wind:

"Be careful, my friends, those swords prick." Lucifer grinned.

"Lucifer!" Trixie yelled and ran towards him, and hugged his waist fiercely.

"Be careful, little urchin," Lucifer said with obvious pain in his voice, although he tried his best to hide it.

"Lucifer, are you alright? You look awful." Dan said worried at the sight of the blood and bruises that covered his face and the torn clothes.

"I will be fine, love. Nothing a good night's sleep won't heal up." Lucifer smiled while he opened up his arms. This was all the invitation Dan needed to snuggle into his side. Lucifer occasionally hissing in pain. His brother was dealt with.

Chapter 14:

Lucifer kissed the top of Dan's head, "I am here now, love. It's okay."

"What happened? How did you defeat him?" Dan asked looking up but not willing to remove himself an inch from Lucifer.

"Let's say, Dad wasn't all too happy with our little fight." Lucifer sighed.

"You mean your Dad was here?" Dan asked a bit shocked.

Lucifer sighed deeply, he had expected this reaction from Dan, he did come from a catholic family. The family wasn't going to be happy with his choice of relationship, let alone if he found out who the man was that he found love with. Dan wasn't ready for that confrontation just yet. Lucifer was going to support him in every decision he made, "Yeah, Dad broke us apart in his typical ways and sent Michael to heaven. My head still hurt from Dad's torture."

"What did he do?" Trixie asked a little worried, "Can't you just heal yourself?"

"Nothing for you to worry about your pretty little head, my sweet urchin." Lucifer smiled softly. He was happy that she was safe now, "Well my feathers have healing powers but I never used them on myself. I have no clue if it would work. I never even thought about it, to be honest."

"Why don't you try it? If it doesn't harm you that is." Dan asked still slightly worried about how much pain his boyfriend was in.

Lucifer thought for a moment. It couldn't kill him to try, the worse thing that could happen would be that nothing happened. It was his light after all.

"I don't think it could hurt to try it." Lucifer said, "I do want you all to close your eyes. I don't want anyone to go obsessed with seeing my divinity."

"Lucifer I saw your devil face and I didn't go nuts either. Why would start now with the feathers? I saw proof of you being well who you are. Plus you need someone to pluck them. You can't reach your back. I want to see all of you, know all of you. Light and darkness." Dan looked Lucifer in the eyes.

"Very well but don't say I didn't warn you, love." Lucifer watched his Italian friends close their eyes, Mario even placed his hands over Trixie's eyes to be sure she couldn't have a little peek before shrugging his shoulders and making his magnificent, white glowing wings appear.

"Which one do you need, Luce?" Dan asked, the wings were beautiful, yes but he saw his other side so it didn't have much effect on him as it would have on other humans.

"Take one from the top, not the soft ones but from right underneath the wing bone." Lucifer went down on one knee so that Dan could easily pluck a feather. Careful with the big ones at the bottom, love. They are meant to fight and are sharp as a demon blade, you could lose a finger before you know it."

"You don't have to worry so much," Dan said while he took a feather in his hand and pulled as hard as he could. It took most of his strength to get one.

"For Dad's sake, Daniel, you need to pluck one feather not the whole damn wing of my back." The devil was forgetting for a moment that Dan was a human and not had the angelic strength.

"Easy for you to say. You can lift a car without breaking a sweat." Dan said while he gave the feather to the fallen angel. Maybe Lucifer felt that way because he wasn't feeling fit due to the wound on his chest.

"I am sorry, love you are right as always, I just didn't think you needed so much power. Now close your eyes. I expect the light to be blinding, if everything goes as planned that is." Lucifer took the feather from Dan and waited for him to close his eyes.

"Here goes nothing." Lucifer placed the feather on his wound and he was a bit shocked to see the blinding light which was a sign that it obviously had worked. He could feel the injury closing up and getting his strength back. He waited for the divine light to completely disappear before he said that the humans could open their eyes again.

"What are we going to do now?" Mario asked curiously because there were still things to handle.

"I don't think it's for the child's ears." Lucifer immediately said, "It's still her mother we are talking about so why don't you leave everything to me. Why don't you make sure that the police are at the nunnery in an hour? Urchin, could you lead them to it?"

Trixie nodded, "Yeah, I paid attention to auntie maze's tracking lessons."

"Good who is involved?" Lucifer asked, "I need as much information as you can give me."

Trixie thought long and hard, "Well, I don't know a lot, there was the mother-superior sister Grind and an awful priest, I think his name is Kinley. The nunnery is in the middle of a big forest."

"Good, sorry for how your house looks like, Mario. I will pay for everything. Now can you make something for me?" Lucifer asked with a devilish grin.

**** Lucifer ****

Mother-superior was doing some paperwork when someone appeared behind her. She turned around and was shocked, "My Lord, you look awful."

"Yeah, well, we have problems. My brother has arrived sooner than I thought." Lucifer said in Michael's American accent. He didn't have to like it but it was for a good cause, "I need you to call the human and the priest and say that they have to come to your office. We need to be prepared."

"When do you want to meet, Lord Michael?" Sister Grind asked curiously.

Lucifer slightly groaned at the white robe he was wearing over his suit. He hated how he looked in those awful things. The robe was made by Mario and Lorenzo

"As soon as they possibly can, he is closer than you might think," Lucifer said still holding on to his persona.

"I will call Father Kinley now and I will let someone go for Miss Decker." Sister grind took her phone out of her pocket while Lucifer waited patiently looking as angelic as possible.

It took about ten minutes for them to be in the office. Lucifer raised his hand and locked the door using his telekineses power, "What can open, can get locked too." He grinned devilishly.

"Lord Michael?" Sister Grind asked confused. It was something he never did before now.

Chloe gasped and took a run for the door, "That isn't Michael!" It was no use the door was locked. She turned around in fear. She knew exactly who it was.

"Well, now that the cat is out of the bag, I don't need this anymore." Lucifer grinned and removed the awful robe.

"I can understand your fear, detective but taking your daughter away from her father. That isn't very nice now is it?" Lucifer started, "I am disappointed in you. You should know me better than any human here on earth. I don't care that they tried to hurt me, they don't know me. I am hurt though that you forgot everything we have been through."

"Please, Lucifer, just let me go. I promise you I won't run again, we can even work together like old times." Chloe said with fear in her voice.

The devil shook his head with a deep sigh, "It will never be as it once was, Chloe. You hurt me. I was willing to give you everything. I protected you, died for you and this is how you repay me?"

"Don't believe him, Miss Decker. He is trying to pull you to his side, the side of evil, with his lies." Father Kinley whispered.

"Lies? I can understand that you think that of me, father but I detest lies and lying." Lucifer said with red glowing eyes of rage. Father Kinley was slightly taken aback by that view.

"What do you want from us?" Sister Grind said not hiding her fear when the flames of Hell dancing in his eyes.

"I am glad you ask sister. I am here to give you a glimpse of what your future will look like." Lucifer grinned. He moved his stretched arm from left to right. Where the antique bookcases stood was now a dark-colored stone wall. He didn't use his reality wrap power often but this was the best way to punish them all.

The three humans coughed. The place smelled like brimstone and sulfur. Ashes were falling down on them like rain.

"Welcome in Hell!" He said in a demonic low voice and where a handsome angel was before stood now a monster with burn scars all over his body. This form was twice as broad as he normally was.

"No, this can't be!" Chloe said shaking her head, "I don't belong here." placing her hands over her ears to try and stop the screams of agony.

"No, it can't be. God would never do that to me." Father Kinley said shaking his head, "Lord Michael has promised me, Heaven."

"Lord Michael is now in his room, punished by our Father. Oh, and something else you want to know about your Lord Michael. I am not the one who is the prince of lies, he is." Lucifer couldn't stop grinning, "Now I wish I could show you your hell loops too but I the urchin had paid better attention than you thought."

This image of Hell was enough for the three of them to go crazy. Father Kinley and Sister Grind started praying non-stop and Chloe was shaking her head constantly. Repeating the words, "This can't be happening. This can't be true."

He removed the image of Hell again before the police would enter the office and take them away.

Chloe was a wreck when the police took her into custody. She couldn't say anything other than that this man was the devil, this man was evil. She kept pointing at Lucifer.

This made sure that she was seen as a danger for herself and society. She was put away in an asylum. Father Kinley and Sister Grind were arrested and found guilty of kidnapping several people over the years.

Dan, Trixie, and Lucifer moved to a large house in a secured area. He paid for the renovation of Mario and Lorenzo's house just as he promised.

Lucifer was now making amends with his father, who apologized for the rather harsh punishment. God didn't expect forgiveness immediately but did remove Lucifer's ban from Heaven. Lucifer did find it in his heart to forgive him with much help from the good doctor.

The devil was now his Father's right hand after he had sealed up Hell for good. He was allowed to stay until Dan died at old age. Lucifer flew him towards Heaven in his arms, just as Amenadiel had done with Charlotte.

They stayed together for all eternity.

Michael on the other hand was banned to earth without powers until he had learned how to behave himself. His dad did give him another face so he couldn't pretend to be his brother.

Chloe, Father Kinley, and Sister Grind had stayed locked up until they all died. Like Lucifer had promised they were all sentenced to Hell.

Trixie on the other hand became a famous writer with the book, The man who calls himself the devil. It was based on Lucifer's life but she never ever admitted it to anyone. The book was fiction or that's what everyone thought. She let them believe but she knew better.

The books became a series and later even a TV show.

Beatrice Espinosa-Morningstar died at the age of 93, with the thought that she was finally going to see her dad and papa again. The reunion was happy and she was happy to hear that Dan and Lucifer had done the bound for eternity ritual.

The End.
