This isn't a chapter. This is going to be how I'm gonna write this story out.

So basically a month back, I read this manga called "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie" and It's good shit. Best action manga I have read, would recommend. Solo Leveling best manhwa though.

But anyways one thing that wouldn't get out of my mind, no matter what I do or what shit my school makes me do, is Adam's 'Eyes of the Lord'. Adam vs Zeus, best part of the manga for me personally. So to summarize the capabilities of 'Eyes of the Lord' I'm going to quote something directly from the manga that hopefully says everything you need to know "He can perfectly replicate any move he lays eyes upon... Even those of the Gods!"

Basically I keep imagining Jaune with it and how he would act with it, I kid you not I think of this at least 5 times a day. So cause of this I have decided to make a story out of it. Don't expect regular updates though, I'm new to this whole writing fanfiction thing.

Now that I have said why I'm gonna start writing this story. (Or typed it, whatever I don't really care).

I realized when I decided to start this, is that I don't fully understand how Adam would fight. Cause think about this: Zeus goes against Adam barehanded and uses moves that don't include weapons in them, Adam is only using one knuckleduster so it's more or less even. What I'm getting at is that I don't really know Adam would fight against someone with a weapon.

Adam was able to copy Zeus's moves easily because they were both going at it with their fists, but could he really do it if his opponent had a weapon? That's what bugging me, could Adam still copy the moves of an armed opponent if he himself doesn't have a weapon? And since pretty much everyone in RWBY has a weapon, this shit is pretty much my first obstacle. Right off the fucking bat too, damn.

There was a scene from the manga where it showed Adam replicating a move from a serpent 'god' (not too sure if the serpent was a god) said serpent had claws and was going to attack Adam using a move with his claws, Adam copied it with his 'EL' including the claws. This still doesn't fully answer the problem I have though, which is: could Adam still copy the moves of an armed opponent if he himself doesn't have a weapon? While what I have just said may contradict that, do note that the claws from the serpent was still from his hands so naturally Adam would have the claws also on his hands.

If I made so that Jaune could only use 'Eyes of the Lord' to dodge shit, it would basically be a watered-down-sharingan with different eyes. The thing that got me hooked on 'EL' (Gonna refer to 'Eyes of the Lord' as EL now) is that it can replicate any fucking move, shit it copied a fucking time stopping move!

A solution I thought of would be to make it so that if Jaune sees a semblance with 'EL', he can copy it. But fucking hell I think that would be op, and since he can replicate any move with 'EL' he would more or less be on the same level as the user.

I don't want to make Jaune with 'Eyes of the Lord' op, strong but not op. And I want to have him using only a knuckleduster like Adam too, but that may not be what I'm gonna go for cause of this problem.

Another solution I just thought of as I'm writing this, is to just have Jaune with 'EL' use crocea mors and it's shield. But if I go down that route, it's basically Jaune with a weak sharingan, and I don't want that to happen.

So the way I see it I got four choices: Have 'EL' be able to copy semblences, Have Jaune wield crocea mors and the shield, but end up with a weaker sharingan, Think of another solution (unlikely), or get a solution from you guys.

Either ways, I'm gonna be thinking about this for a while. So feel free to let me know what you guys think. I'm also gonna change the title and summary after I post the first chapter of the story.
