Hello everyone. I know I promised that this story along with my others would be updated back in February, but that was just not possible. I just kept getting delayed and delayed due to real-life issues that took precedence over my hobby in writing.
I also had a bit of writer's block with having too many ideas caused me to not really move forward. Now we get to the next chapter of Hero of Miracles. This will be mostly a set-up chapter to explain cosmo to Thalia and Percy and start planting the seeds of how Naruto will interact with some of the other half-bloods. In the next chapter, we will get into Titan's Curse and things will get really pick up.

The History of Cosmo
Percy and Thalia looked at the bluish flame in wonder. "Cosmo?" Thalia asked.
"Is that the power that Luke used on the boat?" Percy asked. Naruto nodded. "That's right."
"What is it exactly?" Thalia asked. She was really interested in knowing just what was this power that Naruto and supposedly Luke were able to use.
"Well to explain it, we need to look back into the past. Well over 15 billion years ago, the universe was born from a giant cluster of matter that we know as The Big Bang. It was from this great explosion that the first being was born, Chaos (along with the other creators, but they don't need to know that yet). He was the first being with the highest and purest form of Cosmos as it surveyed the empty universe around them." Naruto explained. The two children of the Big three felt a chill go down their spines as the name of the first primordial was uttered.
"From Chaos came the first primordials like Gaea, Ouranos, Pontus, Tartarus, Nyx, Erebus, etc. Chaos' cosmo was passed on to them, though it was diluted. Not by much, but enough to show a clear difference of power. Though this is the last time we hear of Chaos as it goes into a deep slumber and has not been heard from again, though the entity still exists as it continuously pours its cosmos out into the universe to continue its ability to expand."
"And as the universe kept moving and evolving, the power of the cosmos continued to dilute as it went down the divine tree until we get to ourselves. This is what Cosmo is. Despite being a small portion of what Chaos controlled, it is still can be just as potent under the right circumstance. Cosmo is our very own universes within ourselves that can become their very own Big Bang when we burn it."
"Woah." the two said in complete awe. This power sounded incredible! Power from a primordial that any of them could gain access to?! That sounded too good to be true!
"What can you do with it?" Percy asked in excitement. Thalia leaned forward looking just as eager for the answer.
Naruto smirked as he knew they are not going to believe it at first. "In simple terms. When we burn our cosmos, we are to split atoms themselves to create extraordinary power. By doing this, we can essentially destroy any matter that is also made of atoms. A being with the cosmos can crack the earth, split and boil the seas, and tear the heavens asunder and beyond." Naruto had to stop himself from laughing once he saw the looks, he was getting from his audience.
"Are you hearing yourself?" Thalia asked. While she was amazed at the explanation of cosmos' origins, she can't really believe what she was just told she could do with it completely. It made sense for a primordial or even a god to have this kind of power, a half-blood couldn't have this kind of power. Hell, even the most famous demigods didn't have this kind of power.
"He is telling you the truth." a voice suddenly said. The trio turned to see Chiron and Dionysus approaching them.
"Chiron? Mr. D? You're kidding, right?" an incredulous Percy asked.
The centaur shook his head. "You saw what Luke did, Percy. The only way that Luke could do that was through cosmos." Chiron replied.
Thalia frowned. "Wait if Cosmos is so powerful why did none of us learn about it?" she asked.
Chiron and Mr. D looked at one another somberly as Naruto sighed deeply. "There is a reason for this. It has to do with World War II."
This got the pair of half-bloods' attention.
"What do you mean?" Percy asked.
"You must understand that WWII was a lot more devastating to the Olympians than you were led to believe." Chiron began. "During the war, the Olympians were in a bit of a stalemate, so they decided to bring in their strongest soldiers to turn the tides of the conflict."
"You see the Olympians had demigods that could utilize cosmo. In fact, many have their own personal generals that lead their armies. Each one with a motif to the specific deity. Zeus has his sky emperors, Poseidon has his 7 sea generals, Hades with his 108 specters, Ares and his 5 berserkers, and the last worth mentioning is Athena and her 88 saints." Naruto explained.
"Hades had that many in his army?!" the two half-bloods exclaimed.
"Hades always had the biggest armies of the Olympians. Only Poseidon and maybe Zeus or Athena could rival him." Chiron explained.
"All of these warriors also wore specific attire that allows them to harness their cosmos without the risk of burning up their bodies. These attires were known as cloths that can help a person harness their cosmos. Without it, a person could burn their cosmos too much, and potentially destroy their bodies." Naruto explained.
"WHAT?!" the two children of the big 3 shouted.
Naruto raised a hand to stop any further outbursts. "Of course, with a cloth and with training this issue is mitigated, and even without a cloth a master can burn their cosmo without issue."
The two children sighed in relief. "That's good to know, but what happened to them? Why have we never heard of them?" Percy asked.
Chiron and Mr. D sighed tiredly. "The cosmo wielders were brought in to hopefully end the war as soon as possible. But the results were far worse than any of them expected." Chiron said in a grim tone. Mr. D just chuckled dryly and muttered how that was an understatement.
Naruto took over next. "They ended up destroying one another. The saints, generals, specters, berserkers, and emperors. They were all eradicated in the climax of the war. The planet was devasted by this conflict by not just the humans but the gods as well. Mortal and divine populations were crippled by the loss of lives and their warriors."
"The Olympians were concerned if this occurred again then they may not have any followers or children left to keep them from fading. So, to avoid this, the Olympians all made an oath, besides the one the Big 3 swearing to never have any kids again, to never teach any half-blood about cosmos, and all knowledge of it was erased from their memories and hidden away. The minor gods and beings like myself were sworn to never teach it as well. Any remaining cloths were confiscated and either destroyed or hidden in places that no half-blood could find." Chiron explained in a very tired tone. It was obvious this topic weighed a lot on his mind.
Percy and Thalia were silent. "No wonder we never heard of this," Percy said before he frowned. "But wait won't you get in trouble for teaching us?"
Naruto smirked mischievously. "Here's the thing, they said gods and people like Chiron can't teach you. They never said anything about me." He spoke.
"But won't this be dangerous?" Percy asked in concern. He was really liking having Naruto around and did not want anything bad to happen to him.
"Percy if the old crooked one is teaching Luke and others how to use cosmos, we need to even out the playing field or you are going to lose this war. Don't get me started if he finds the cloths." Chiron replied.
"He's right. This is the only way we will win. We must fight fire with fire." Naruto said.
"How did you learn?" Thalia asked.
"Oh, that's easy," Naruto said dramatically. The two leaned in as they wanted to hear the answer. Naruto gave them a foxy grin. "It's a secret." The blonde nearly burst out laughing as he saw the two demi-gods nearly fell off their seats.
Percy and Thalia were not amused by the blonde's prank but their mutual mentor spoke up. "Relax Naruto is a trustworthy individual even with his secrets. He is our only hope now to prepare for this war."
Naruto nodded in appreciation as he turned to his two students. "Ready to give this a try?"
Thalia and Percy looked at one another before they looked back at their blonde teacher. "Sure, why not." The daughter of Zeus said.
Naruto walked behind his two students and placed his hand on the center of their backs. "Here let me give you a glimpse of cosmo before I let you try it." The blonde then focused as his cosmo appeared in his hands and then enveloped Percy and Thalia.
The two children flinched as they felt an incredible rush of power they have never felt before. "This feels amazing."
"Wow," Percy whispered in utter amazement. The rush he got from being in the ocean was nothing compared to cosmos. The difference was night and day. A dip in the ocean was a small droplet to the abyss of power he was feeling from being enveloped in cosmo. He wondered what kind of power he would get from using cosmo while also being in the ocean.
Naruto smirked in amusement. He had a similar reaction when he first experienced the great power of cosmo. It dwarfed every other power he had ever experienced. The only ones that came close to the feeling of cosmo were when he first achieved Rikudo Senjutsu and Baryon Mode. Refocusing on his students, he pointed at the two large stones they were sitting on. "Now focus on trying to break this rock as your first lesson. Now try it. Feel the cosmo burn within you and destroy the rock in front of you with your fist."
Thalia looked at the large stone in front of her. She raises her fist and focuses her cosmo into her fist. "HA!" she shouts and slams her fist into the stone. The result was instantaneous. The boulder was completely shattered and a three-meter-long crater formed below her. Thalia panted as she looked at the results of her punch. She smiled broadly.
"Hey, I did it!" Thalia cheered.
"Not bad. Especially since it was your first time." Naruto replied in an impressed tone as he gave her a pat on the back.
Thalia blushed a bit. "Thanks."
Percy was also just as amazed by the results of Thalia's attack. Unfortunately, all he managed to do was hurt his hand as began to bleed badly. He cried in pain as he held his hand. The others were about to check on the injury he told them it can wait after the lesson. He was about to try again until Naruto told him to stop. He looked back to see the blonde looking at him seriously.
"Percy you need to relax. Don't get overly excited or it will not work and you will just hurt your hand again. Let the cosmo flow through your body and make it burn." Naruto lectured.
Percy took a deep breath and sighed. Naruto was right. He was letting the power get to his head and his overexcitement to match Thalia caused him to injure himself. He needed to relax. After taking a few more breathes he looked at the large rock in front of him. He raised his fist and focused his cosmo into his fist.
"Now crush that rock!" Naruto ordered.
"HAAA!" Percy shouted as he slammed his fist into the rock. The results were nearly identical to what Thalia performed. Though Percy was a bit too enthusiastic as he nearly blasted everyone, except Naruto, away from the force of his attack.
Everyone looked in awe at the sheer destruction caused by Percy's attack. The crater formed was much larger than the one Thalia made, around five meters in length. The crater itself was much deeper as well with Percy panting heavily from the strength he exerted. Thalia quickly went down and helped Percy up to his feet.
"Damn Percy," Thalia said in awe. She does feel a bit envious, though she knows that Percy put way more power into that attack than she did, so it's no wonder the results were crazier. She can't imagine the other campers did not feel it and will start asking questions. She shook her head. He is such a Kelp-head.
"My word," Chiron whispered in shock.
"Well, this is a surprise." Mr. D uttered though he was just as amazed as the others.
Naruto smirked. "Magnificent, Perseus." He then called them back. "Now let's take a break. We will get back to this soon. Percy go get that hand checked out."
The two nodded as they were feeling pretty exhausted from the whole experience. Hopefully, they won't have to feel like this every time they used cosmo. Percy flinched as he looked at his bleeding hand. Thalia scolded him as she looked at the injury and told him he'll help him tend to it. As the two walked back to the big house along with Chiron and Mr. D. They had a lot of explaining to do to the other half-bloods.
Just as Naruto was about to follow them, he felt a tingle in his pockets. He reached his hand into it and took out two pendants. One was of a winged horse and the other of an Aquila. "Soon. Be patient you two. They will be ready soon enough." Naruto muttered to them as put the pendants back in his pockets as he walked to follow the others.
[Several Months Later]
"Oomph!" Percy grunted as he was slammed into the ground. He looked to see Naruto standing on top of him with his blade pointing at his throat. Percy raised his arms in surrender. Naruto smirked.
"Dead," he said. He then quickly turned and parried an attack from Annabeth's knife and delivered a fierce kick to her chest that sent her to the ground.
"Ow." She moaned as Naruto appeared behind her and tapped her with the bottom of his blade on her head.
"Dead." He said. Naruto then turned to see Thalia, Selina, and Clarisse charging at him from separate directions. Naruto smirked. They are learning to not let their enemies breathe. Good.
'However.' He thought as he quickly dodged Clarisse's spear and grabbed the front of the staff and hurled it and the daughter of Ares into Thalia. The daughter of Zeus's eyes widens as she quickly moved her own spear to avoid impaling her comrade. However, this caused her to feel the full force of Clarisse slamming into her and knocking both of them down.
His last opponent tried an overhead swing, but Naruto quickly tripped Selina and disarmed her. The daughter of Aphrodite looked up to see Naruto pointing his blade and her own at her. "Damn." She cursed.
"Super dead." Naruto teased. He offered his arm to Selina, who took graciously as everyone else was slowly getting back.
"Not even a single scratch," Percy said in disappointment with others silently cursing at their own faults.
Naruto rolled his eyes. "Come now. You guys have remarkable progress in just a few months. Some people could take years to get to the level you are all at. That should say about your incredible potential."
"Though not many of our siblings have made as much progress." Annabeth retorted. So far only herself and Malcolm had made any progress with cosmo in her cabin, though everyone is training hard to not fall behind, which the same can be said with the other cabins.
Naruto shook his head. "Your siblings will eventually get the hang of it. You guys are definitely the strongest generation of demigods that have lived, which will become more apparent as you develop your cosmos. You have set an example that the others will follow. Especially if they want to live past the war."
Everyone flinched at his words. "Harsh," Clarisse replied.
Naruto shrugged. "But an effective truth."
"Well, the only thing my siblings care about is ogling you. Especially after that lake incident." Selina muttered.
"Hehehehe. Like you, Selina." Naruto teased and causing Selina to blush with the others coughing to cover their laughs/giggles as they remembered that day all too well.
[Flashback]
"Morning." A drowsy Percy greeted. Naruto had placed everyone on a strict training regimen. Though the head counselors had it even tougher as they had more potential than the rest of their siblings and were pushed harder than the rest.
Thalia greeted him back. "Rough night?" she asked. The two began walking to the lake as that's their usual meeting spot with Naruto. They noticed Annabeth, Clarisse, Connor, Travis, Beckendorf, Katie, and surprisingly enough Drew.
"Didn't get much sleep, I'm guessing?" Percy asked as the others joined them on their trek to the lake.
"Nah. I was so busy thinking of different projects and training that I couldn't sleep much." The child of Hephaestus replied.
Clarisse shrugged. "I have gotten used to this for the most part. Waking up is the only problem I have." Her mom was pretty strict with her as she was in the military for some time and taught her some of its philosophies as well. So this was pretty normal for her all things considered.
"We were too scared to sleep." The stolls replied in unison. While they looked up to Naruto and treated him like an honorary member due to his relationship with Hermes and had a prankster streak that did not stop him from being a terrifying instructor worse than Luke, Clarisse, and Percy combined.
"I am surprised you're up at this hour Drew," Percy said in surprise, which was mirrored by everyone around him. They expected Selina to be up at this hour as she wanted to show that a child of Aphrodite can be a fierce warrior just like any other half-blood. Though to see Drew up at this hour was rather unexpected.
Drew snorted. "Don't get used to it. I'm only up because Selina woke me up as she went out of the cabin and I couldn't get back to sleep after that. I said screw it and decided to just come and deal with this hell now than later."
Everyone rolled their eyes at that, though they were curious about one thing.
"When did Selina leave your cabin?" Clarisse asked.
Drew shrugged. "Half an hour ago? Maybe less? I'm not sure."
Before Clarisse could ask something else, Percy spoke up. "Hey isn't that Selina?"
Everyone turned and sure enough, Selina was in fact at the edge of the clearing just a few feet away from the beach. But what was odd was she was unmoving. She just stood there like a statue.
"Yeah, what is she doing just standing there?" Drew asked in confusion.
"I think she is staring at something?" Thalia asked in confusion. But what could be distracting her this much?
"Let's find out," Percy suggested as everyone nodded in agreement.
"Hey, Selina," Drew called to her sister but got no response.
"Selina?" Clarisse asked with no response again.
"Earth to Selina." Thalia tried as well but failed like the others.
"What is up with her?" Percy asked. What is she looking at?
"Percy…." Beckendorf began.
"What?" Percy asked as Beckendorf pointing a finger. He looked in the direction and just stared in amazement along with everyone else that finally saw what Selina was looking at.
It was Naruto. Completely shirtless in shorts completely drenched in sweat as he went through several rips of sword swings, thrusts, and stabs while performing a variation of shadowboxing with several jumps and flips mixed in as well.
"Woah." Everyone said in unison as they were completely amazed at Naruto's workout routine as this was the first time they really see him in it.
"Damn look at him," Clarisse said.
"He's like a machine," Beckendorf uttered in amazement.
Drew licked her lips. "Mmmm. Mama likes very much." She slurred.
This seems to finally snap Selina from her trance. "Drew!" she whispered harshly.
"What I can tell most of us were thinking the same. Especially since you have been here the longest."
Selina's face went completely red as she covered her mouth with her hands. "EEEP!"
Percy then noticed something off with Naruto. "Hey, guys. Look at his back." He said.
"Wow Perce, I didn't think you played for both teams." Thalia teased.
Percy blushed a bright red and rolled his eyes. "Not what I meant. Look at the upper part of his right shoulder."
Everyone turned to look where Percy suggested and where shocked at what they were seeing. A large portion of the area just below his shoulder was slightly more pale compared to the rest of his back. The same could be said about the area just to the left at the center of his chest.
"What the fuck?" Clarisse said aloud.
"How did he get a scar like that?" Thalia asked.
"And you can see another one near the center of his back as well," Percy said.
"You can also see it from his front as well," Selina said.
"Meaning…..?" Connor asked.
"It means something pierced through the front of his chest and out the back. TWICE." Beckendorf replied in a grim tone. Everyone shivered at the thought of being stabbed through the chest.
"What the hell did that to him?" Drew asked in horror.
"Better question. How is he still alive?" Annabeth asked. The more they learn about Naruto, the more questions seem to pile up about him.
"Why don't you ask him?" a voice said behind them.
"AHHHHHHH!" everyone screamed as they jumped into the air and fell to the ground. They all looked up to see Naruto looking down at them in amusement.
"Sup guys. Enjoyed the show?" he teased. Everyone blushed a bit in embarrassment.
"Y'know Selina if you wanted to ask me out, you just had to come closer. I wouldn't have bitten you."
Selina's head went nuclear red as steam blew out of her head. "EEEEP!"
[Few Days Later]
Naruto sighed. "Good times." He turned to the daughter of Aphrodite, "I am still waiting on that date, Selina."
Selina looked down to hide her blush. "Shut Up." She said in embarrassment.
"Hold it brats." An approaching voice said. Everyone turned to
"What's up Diabetes?" Naruto asked which caused everyone to flinch. They never get used to Naruto's disrespect towards Mr. D, which makes Percy look obedient. Though they did notice that there seems to be an agreement between the two, though they have no clue what it entailed.
Mr. D snorted. "Chiron wants you four to head to the big house. We got news from Drover."
"Right. Shadow Clones." Naruto said as several clones appeared and left to do their original's tasks.
"I will never get used to that," Thalia said as everyone else nodded in agreement.
Annabeth pouted. "So unfair." She wished she could have an ability like that. The number of books she could read and learn was just insane.
Naruto chuckled. "Relax. Once you have better grasps at your cosmo, you should be able to do it as well. Or at least something close to it. I have just had more experience than the rest of you."
Naruto, Thalia, Percy, and Annabeth left for the Big House. Selina went to take a shower and Clarisse was about to follow until Mr. D asked her to stay as he has a different task for her to perform for him and Chiron.
"So what's up, Chiron?" Naruto asked as they entered the Big House.
"Grover has just contacted me to explain he has found two demigods in his current location." The centaur said.
This raised the eyebrows of the four half-bloods. "Two? That's an impressive feat. Any idea on the parentage?" Naruto asked.
Chiron shook his head. "No, but he has told me that their scent is very strong."
"Alright. Let's get ready a team." Annabeth said.
"I can get my mother to drive us there," Percy suggested.
"Alright, pack and get ready," Naruto told his three students, who nodded in agreement.
"Naruto, be careful. I sense something will come from this. I am unsure of what." Chiron warned.
Naruto nodded as he began to pack his own things for the trip. "You're not the only one."
'Well, Hades guess you decided it's time for your kids to rejoin the world.' Naruto said to himself.
[A few days later]
"Your mom is amazing as always." Thalia teased.
"Shut it," Percy mumbled.
Thalia just ruffled his hair. "Oh come on, Kelp Head it's not that bad. Plus, I think Paul is good for her."
"Yeah." Percy relented. "I haven't seen her that happy in a while."
"That's good your mom deserved it," Annabeth said. A quick whistle got their attention as Naruto was standing a few feet from them. The three walked up to him and the four stared at the large boarding school just a few feet from them.
"Well come on, we have some kids to rescue," Naruto said as the four went in to find their friendly stayr and two demigod children.
So hope you enjoyed the read. So the explanation of cosmos came from a mix of the original manga, the original anime, and the wiki wrapped into one with some variations to be integrated into the Percy Jackson World.
Naruto is familiar with Hades and knows about his two kids. When and how did he meet? And what was that silent agreement with Mr. D? All will be explained in good time.

Will Naruto get a cloth and which would it be? Yes, he will have one, but you won't see which one for a while.
