Max had left Arcadia Bay in 2009, leaving Chloe at the worst moment possible through no choice of her own, falling into a depressive state. Now back in Arcadia Bay hoping to find Chloe make up for time lost.

Chloe is left an orphan when both of her parents are killed in a car accident at the age of 11. With no other family able to take her in, she ends up in the foster care system. The community of Away, Arizona was always peaceful. The most exciting things that ever happened in this tight nipped community were weekend barbecues and trips to the nearest town for supply runs. Gemini Petersen was the only teenager in the community, she spent most of her days in the company of her Uncles. But everything changed when Karen Reynolds two Sons joined the community.

After a lucky draw in Ryan's work raffle, the Caulfields head out on a long-haul cruise. When their boat goes down and no survivors are reported, Chloe is left alone until 5 years later, a single survivor is found on an island in the Indian Ocean. Based on the TV series Arrow.

On a return trip to Arcadia Bay, Max and Chloe run into both old friends and rivals. To help reconnect with everyone, they all decide to bond over the one thing they all seem to have in common: gaming.
