This story revolves around Star Trek Into Darkness and when Kirk "dies" and all the efforts that are done by all the crew to bring him back. Also, the crew weren't the only ones concerned about the Captain. It continues on to bridge the one year gap before the Enterprise is recommissioned.

What is its shape or form? Can darkness even be answered or will it forever be a mystery? In the end can we truly understand? This is what Ivy McCrite tries to discover for her self.

A very odd story about a Vulcan that is honestly starting to believe in bad luck after all of this and a girl with a rather obsessive personally that didn't mean to kidnap the Vulcan, but well…these things happen.
