Response to this prompt from the Into Darkness kink meme: (Mind the spoilers) That tribble kind of saves Kirk's life, amirite? Spock adopts it. Summary: Kirk didn't think about the Tribble that technically helped save his life until a small reminder made him wonder where it ended up.

In both universes, three people are a constant in the engine room. One inside the warp core chamber, one outside, and one who's witness to it all, Scotty, and he thinks there's nothing so terrible that can't be fixed with a good bottle of Scotch. I think I can! I think I can!

Rated M. Please act accordingly. Leonard and Jim are in an established relationship. Leonard asks Jim to join him in visiting his family during shore leave, and then shows him how important his presence is and thanks him for being there.

Jim and Leonard are occasional roommates as Starfleet cadets. Leonard has somewhat settled in to his new life. Jim...is still adjusting. More than friends and not yet lovers, Jim and Bones are learning to find and provide comfort for each other in that space in between.

These will be oneshots with these characters: Bones, Kirk, Spock, and Bones. I suck at summaries, please just read! :)

In this brief glimpse, Leonard is taking an art class, just for something to do. Jim is a model for the class. They meet. (It's marked complete, but I may revisit it if folks are interested.)
