Chapter 1: The Black Mist
Naruto Uzumaki, the dobe, the loser, the boy who would never amount to anything, now lives amongst the Gods.
The absorption of Kaguya Otsutsuki transformed an average Earthly Hero, to a man with Infinite Power. His ability to interfere with mortal life as did his predecessors of the Shinki Tree, was more present than ever.
He never found his way into alternate dimensions unless the situation proved needed intervention from himself.
Sometimes it was just a push in the right direction or the application of his power in the right places. But now, peering in on this...place, it was salvageable, it will take time, but he had more than enough time. Challenging was best.
As he observed closely, it seemed fear and famine ruled over the damned in the form of large humanoid creatures called...Titans, interesting. 3 massive walls separated a large Kingdom, from the poor in Wall Maria, to commoners and merchants in Wall Rose, and finally the rich nobility in Wall Sina. How quaint.
Military forces were divided into three parties, Scouting Corps, Garrison Regime, and the MP Brigade. Naruto couldn't get all the information from just observing, so the final preparations were being made for his arrival.
He walked to his armory where he stored his prized possessions from his past. Whether it be from other dimensions, spoils of war, or from his original lifeline. The White-Haired Jubi Jinchuriki made his way around the mid-sized room reminiscing briefly about his old ways.
Ah...Zabuza's blade from his original lifeline. Kubikiribocho, now this was a weapon. 5 feet tall, 10 fingers wide, perfect for cutting down oversized fetuses'.
Now for a convincing backstory. From what he had seen, this...Kingdom, was the only settlement in a wide scale area. So he, being an Outsider and all, needed to catch the Scouting Legion out on an expedition, slaughtering 'Titans' as they called them. He'd convince them with other worldly skills, and denial of origin, yes, that always worked.
"It's time."
He threw the Zanbatou over his right shoulder and transformed his body to a 5'3 version of himself with his original blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. He edged a onyx portal with a menacing look and walked through it.
Divine Intervention once again.
He stepped out of the shadows of his portal and onto a grassy meadow. As far as he could see besides a few large, disgusting creatures, was oceans of grass with displaced trees in random areas. It would be beautiful if there weren't ugly mugs stomping around everywhere.
According to his calculations, the Scouting Corps would make a run 5 miles from his current position in less than an hour.
Perfect timing to gather up some lunkheads and stock them like a herd of sheep. Of course, he would lead them to the slaughter.
It seemed he wouldn't have to wait around long. Titans of all ranging sizes made their way towards the blonde swordsmen.
Naruto dashed off at a good pace in order to keep the Titans following him. They would be easy to outrun but that was not needed at the moment. Just keep them close-by and let the commotion attract more Titans to himself.
He wasn't accustomed to a fight like this but, he always did learn the best on his feet. And, he always loved a good fight.
Another green flare was shot into the sky, sending the Scouting Legion further east around the Forest in front of them. 250 men and women scattered themselves in groups of two to three, and surrounded the central control line from the U-shaped outside scouting perimeter.
They had been 2 hours into the mission escorting an entourage of medical herbs and perishables. Failure would not be an option, but they too always weighed their chances of not succeeding and allowing people behind the wall to suffer from lack of necessities.
The Mission was led by the Commander, Keith Shadis. A bald man with a scruff of a beard. His eyes were focused and calculating. He was the 12th Commander of the Scouting Corps, and a decent one at that. He was a slave driver in perfection, but for good cause considering the casualty rates of their line of work.
Adjacent to the head position was his right hand man, Erwin Smith, and soon to be Commander. He was smart, strategic, and calculating like his Leader before him. His blonde, parted hair was an indication of his intellect and intensity of his role as Successor of the current Commander.
Fellow men of Erwin's elite unit flowed in tightly behind. They were a working machine, but too important to be put on the front lines. It was how it always was and would still continue to be.
"Commander, Urgent message from the Left E5 unit, staged front row." a new rider filed in next to Shadis.
The bald man didn't usually get urgent messages in forms of other ways then casual flare shots. Something must have gone wrong.
"You have flares, don't you soldier?" The man nodded. "Then what is the problem, in where you would have to visit Central length?"
The soldier seemed to scuffle under the intense gaze of their Commander. But, what they had seen...It was not natural, no, Impossible.
"Well sir, we don't have flares for this type of engagement. But somebody on the Eastern Front, that is not a soldier, is massacring a large group of Titans by himself without 3DM gear." Everyone that was in the Central Command group was shocked beyond belief. Some slaughtering multiple Titans and winning was unheard of.
"WHAT?! Smith, leave Mike, and take your unit to the Eastern Front to investigate. Return afterwards. Go!"
All bellowed, "Yessir," with a quick salute and they dashed off in the direction following the informant. (AN: Saasageyooo Sasageyo, Sorry I had to)

The sight the Elite Squad rode up on was one they would never forget.
A man was darting back and forth between Titans of all sizes cutting them on the nape or beheading and continuing on to the next one.
He held a large Blade they had never seen before in both hands cleanly slicing off 12 meter Titan's head and kicking it to the ground. He was covered in blood over a shirtless body, it all steamed in excess as if he was a cloud of smoke proceeding to barrel through more titans.
The blonde haired man jumped and leapt high in inhuman strides. He didn't even stop to confirm if he had killed a titan or not. His radiated bloodshed and strength never seen before by anyone, the fluidity of his movements were beautiful and deadly, no movement was wasted.
The large creatures were nothing to this black blur. Chunks of meaty flesh and blood sprayed in a 200 foot radius. The only sounds they heard was blade connecting to flesh and the grunts of pained Titans desperately swinging at what they couldn't see. Body after body fell to ground in piles of decaying flesh in an unnatural smoky smell.
Erwin and his squad watched in awe as the last of the bodies dropped in a pile of evaporating flesh and disembodied limbs. The man dropped with the last head to the ground. A massive sword held over his shoulder.
"It's a child?!" A woman with brown hair exclaimed at the figure in front of them. All nodded their heads in agreement. Just who the hell was this...kid, and why was he outside the walls?
He was dressed in black pants, and red seamed buckles around his wrists meant for continuous awkward movement of his wrists with the Zanbatou. His sun-kissed hair held silver streaks occasionally throughout his head of hair. He was a child, but his body and face were chiseled like he had trained everyday of his life. And the worst of all...he seemed bored.
No 3DM gear or Standard issued weapons seen on his person. Only his freakishly large, but well built sword over his sword distinct shoulders for a young boy.
There were so many questions that Erwin wanted answered. Though everyone around him was frightened of him turning his blade on them.
The blonde haired boy continued to stare down the group. He was enjoying this very much, but of course he would never show it. Keeping up his badass persona was a must, I mean he was a god for all intents and purposes. 'Maybe I should get a mask like Kakashi or something along the lines of Zabuza's bandages.'
"Yo."
The group was on their way back from the Eastern Front with the strange warrior child tied up on the back of Erwin's horse. He never resisted and no one spoke a word to him afraid of angering the boy. The blonde haired boy was way more composed then some of their best soldiers. Everyone had the same question in their heads, 'Who the f**k is this child?'
Commander Keith watched as they strode up to regain the formation with a weird figure which he assumed was the unknown entity seen fighting Titans, in tow. He was bonded in thin rope and cuffs on his feet. The boy was unnaturally calm and still, almost like being out in Titan territory was nothing more than an annoyance.
Was he sleeping?
The Commander looked the blonde man right in the face, "Report Captain."
"Yes of Course. We came upon a scene of 43 Titans ranging from sizes 4 to 13 meters, all slaughtered by this boy behind me. We haven't questioned him yet. He wields this...sword of some kind on, as seen on the side of my horse. Permission to speak freely sir?" Shadis nodded.
"He wasn't frightened by the presence of the Titans, he made it seem so...casual. It was a massacre as said by Private Schneider. I'm afraid we have a serious matter on our hands Commander, whether good or bad is yet to be seen." Keith didn't know how to respond, whoever this boy was, no, he might not even be human. Answers were needed before they returned to the walls with a potential threat. A threat that could man-handle 40+ Titans and seem like it was the most common experience in the world.
"Wake him up." Smith did as told and nudged the careless blonde behind him.
Naruto groggily sat up, his acting skills at the forefront. "Ohayo Gozaimasu."
"Excuse me young man?"
Naruto was staring around at the confused faces. He was only pulling their leg but it has been so long since he pranked someone. Maybe not the best scenario, but the bindings weren't very hard to get out of if he needed to escape an onslaught.
"Where did you come from, and why are you here?" Commander Shadis interrogated the foreign boy.
Naruto tilted his head to the side like he didn't understand the bald man, trying his best not to smirk.
So their theory was correct, he didn't understand their language. Maybe starting out with something easier for the boy to understand was the way to go. Simple Introductions would do.
"Well. What is your name, boy." He pointed to himself, "I am Keith Shadis, Keith Shay-dis."
They all waited for the reaction of the bored child. He grinned and pointed at himself and laughed. "My name is Naruto, Nar-u-toe, and I don't know where I came from, and I don't remember. Why I'm here...hmm...I don't know I didn't expect to come across anyone. I just showed up in this place not too long ago." Half-truths, always the right way in a situation like this one.
Everyone face palmed at the boy clearly speaking their language. He enjoyed pulling their foot, and they fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
Shadis grew a tick-mark, no one ever made a fool of him like this and got away with it. The child had the gall to mess around, and that made Keith like him even more.
"How did you kill over 40 Titans then son if you don't remember anything." Shadis had him in the ringer, little did he know, Naruto thought best in tight circumstances.
"Hmm, Instinct I'd say. I dunno, I had a big sword next to me when I woke up, the big ugly 'Titans' as you say, tried to flatten me for a snack." Everyone around the Commander sweat dropped, 'Instinct', this child thought this was a game. The bald man was trying his best to unnerve the boy with his famous engrossed glare.
How were they supposed to explain about a found child from OUTSIDE the walls that could slay insane amounts of Titans and not even think more on it. Naruto was a detriment to their way of life, but if his heart was in the right place and Titans were on the end of his sword, then that was enough for him.
Whether the boy was lying or not was yet to be seen. But, they needed someone like him, Outsider or not.
"Alright then. What if I were to say, you'd have the opportunity to continue cutting down Titans in the name of His Majesty." Keith suggested scratching his chin.
"Ok, whatever. Sounds easy enough." What the hell was this boy, was he even Human?
"That's good enough for me," he clapped his hands together, "Let us return to Shiganshina. And for Pete's sake give the boy a spare horse and a damn shirt."
Erwin was the first to vocalize his concern, "Sir, are you sure about this. The child is still unknown. Plus he would have to go through the Cadets to become a Survey Corpsman. If this gets to the higher ups, then he'll be sent to the Civilian Council"
Shadis brought a hand to his chin and cupped his scruff. "Well, has anyone in this group slayed 43 Titans, or done all of it in one sitting? No...that's what I thought, so he won't be a citizen if I have anything to say about it."
Everyone shook their heads, it was evident the Commander took a liking to the Outsider. This was so beyond their pay grade.
"Then it's settled, Welcome to the Survey Corps Naruto, from now on, you will be a subordinate under none other than Erwin Smith. Understood?" The blonde boy nodded and turned to the Blonde man in front of him with his mouth agape.
"Sounds good Captain Bushy-Brows." A round of chuckles was heard. Erwin was not a fan of the snickers.
'Why me?' He thought
A few hours later
"Wow! Nice Wall, it's so what's the word Captain Brows, oh I know, quaint!" Naruto ecstatically said.
A man named Mike was next to Erwin on horseback looking back at their new squad member. "I don't think that's the word." Naruto faked his disappointment with a few anime tears.
As they rode through the narrow gate of Wall Maria, the blonde god noticed the people out on the streets waiting for the men to come back. Thanks to his efforts they had only lost around 10 corpsmen compared to the estimated 90. This, of course, shocked the people on the street knowing the Survey Corps often led mass casualty missions.
From what he envisioned, he thought Shiganshina would be fairly poor, yet it wasn't all too bad. It was lively and happy in a comfortable atmosphere, that came with the comfortability the wall placed between them and the Titans outside. It was quite large in every direction he looked. 'I guess that's what you get when this is the only living settlement around.
Naruto's horse walked adjacent to his now Captain, and soon to be Commander. Commoners of all ages, looking at him quizzically knowing that he wasn't there on the way out. Whispers were heard here and there about who the strange boy was, and of course he could hear it all but didn't give it too much thought.
He felt a presence that was different from the rest, one that wasn't felt around any others he'd seen since his short time here. Naruto's senses kicked in and he zoned in on where he felt the distinction. It was a mellow scent, like a superficial stench barely resonating through the air.
His blue orbs locked onto a kid his age or younger. Naruto stared him dead in the eyes, as if looking for something deeper within his soul. 'Interestingly there's nothing that separates him from the others yet, he has something he's hiding.'
Eren always enjoyed watching the Survey Corps return from mission. And today due to the small grins on the Corpsmen's faces was a successful day they hadn't seen in a long time.
Suddenly his sixth sense kicked in as he felt the eyeballs of one of the soldiers burn into his own. A terrifying sight that made his stomach twist uneasily.
A blonde boy about his age, on horseback riding narrowly a few spots back away from the Commander. He wasn't in uniform and he didn't have any distinct crests or 3DM gear as the other soldiers had. The blonde seemed well-built even for his age, broad shoulders and shoulder length wild blonde hair with two streams of hair down the sides of his face.. And that sword, Eren had never seen anything like that before.
Blue eyes continued to stare at him even as he passed his line of sight. 'Just who is that, Why have I never seen him before?'
"Mikasa, that boy on the Horse behind Captain Erwin, do you know him or have you seen him before? He won't stop looking at me, and it's a little scary." Mikasa automatically jumped into her over protective state, giving the mysterious blonde boy a puzzled and dark glare.
Naruto simply scoffed at the attempt at trying to obscure his line of sight.
"No, I've been hearing whispers that he's from outside the walls." Eren's eyes widened and shivered slightly.
Whoever this guy was, he was staring at him and only him, even under Mikasa's intense gaze. Yet, he was from the Outside and that's what interested him most. He could tell them about the Outside world where their future lay.
"Let's go and tell Armin. The stories this guy could tell us if he is from the Outside!" He grabbed Mikasa by the hand and darted off the boxes, sticks falling off in the sudden movement.
Little did they know, a certain Outsider heard the whole thing. 'I'll figure you out Eren…'
Survey HQ
The Mess Hall was unusually loud today. It was said their commander had brought someone into their ranks from outside the wall. Some were calling it fraudulent, while others were defending the statement.
It was said, a boy described as a black mist, slaughtering 43 Titans on his own, and was no older than 10 years old. People were laughing at the statement as classic Shadis storytelling, there were no possibilities. Simple folklore it was.
The constant chatter stopped as soon as a boy dressed in new Survey Corps gear marched into the Mess Hall and sat at a far bench eating in peace with a massive sword strapped to his back.
Naruto had felt all the eyes on him.
He abided by his own business, it's not like he cared for anyone else's confirmation of today's events or not.
Yet, it seemed like someone was coming to have their suspicions answered.
A man dressed in standard Survey garb, walked beside Naruto and sat down in front of him. He seemed relatively short, but the way he carried himself made him seem like an esteemed Commander.
His black hair was split down the middle and shaved to a stubble on the sides of his head. He had a white handkerchief tucked into his top in the form of an esteemed gentleman. The man's eyes were narrowed and trying to sense any uneasiness from the mysterious boy in front of him.
"We've been hearing some interesting stories of what occurred today on the mission. 'A boy with blonde hair, wielding a massive sword nearly the size of himself, showing up out of nowhere.' As eye witness statements report, 'Massacred 43 Titans ranging sizes 4 to 13 meters in less than 15 minutes without signs of fatigue or distress.' It sounds highly exaggerated, but I myself have seen my fair share of impossible scenarios. So is it true, Nar-u-toe?"
Naruto dropped his spoon into his mild tasting porridge. This teenager or man, was trying to size him up. Yet it seemed he already had his answer to his own question. He'd play along. He could tell this guy wasn't a coward nor lacking confidence.
"I didn't count the bodies. I don't like to give out personal matters without learning one's name first." The black haired man snarled from the smart-ass statement.
"The name's Captain Levi. I don't really care either way if it happened or not. It seems Captain Erwin rid himself of you as soon as he got to HQ. So, I just wanted to acquaint myself with this mysterious boy they call the 'Black Mist'. Meet me outside the Terrace at 0800 tomorrow, so I can introduce you. I've been asked to tail you so don't try anything funny or I'll cut you down where you stand." He said the last part over his shoulder with the dark and narrowed gleam in his emotionless face.
Naruto was a little surprised that Erwin reassigned somewhere else, but this Levi character seemed...intriguing.
The man now identified as Levi strode away getting hammered with questions by others who were out of earshot. He paid no intention and continued as if they weren't there. Naruto was already starting to like this guy, reminding him of Kakashi-sensei or Shikamaru from a long time ago.
Tomorrow was his first day towards changing the outcome of the dimension and so far he was loving it and all the random encounters he had so far.
I read a AOT x Naruto Fic once, and it was great, but was abandoned near the end of Season 1, so I decided to do my own. I'm going to try to balance this with my other story.
I'm not sure about pairings, but I'll think about the possibilities.
Mikasa x Naruto (comment here)
Ymir x Naruto
Sasha x Naruto
Petra x Naruto
Rico x Naruto
These are my choices so far. I'm open to Harem lol, but not like every woman in the series lol.
I'm not much of an Annie x Eren Shipper so I won't do that with Naruto either.
Leave a Review if you want me to continue!
