Chapter One
The Boy With Green Eyes
Four month old Diana Dursley lay comfortably in her cot. She was sleeping peacefully without any dreams.
"Ahhhhh!"
Diana started bawling. Someone had just screamed shrilly, and it had awoken her from her slumber. She did not like people screaming.
Her father got up, put his dressing gown on, and ran downstairs. Diana started bawling even more, it was starting to get cold in the room.
Her mother came up and fed the four month old a bottle of milk and took Diana downstairs.
Diana's older brother Dudley was already in the living room, and he was glaring at something from across.
Diana turned her head to look. On the couch was a dark haired baby boy, who was sitting calmly.
Petunia put Diana down on the floor, and she started to crawl over to the couch. Diana had only recently learned how to crawl, and was fascinated by it.
The dark haired infant looked down at Diana. He had bright green eyes.
"Vernon, what will we do?" Petunia asked. "I was just going to get the milk, and I saw the little pest lying on the doorway! I read the letter and it says we need to take him in!"
Vernon looked at the baby distastefully. "What was his name, Petunia?"
"Harry Potter," said Petunia. She glared at Harry as if he had just insulted her.
Vernon's eyes narrowed. "He's the offspring of your good for nothing sister?" he asked. Petunia nodded.
Vernon picked Harry up. "Now listen here, boy! You will do as we say, you will ask no questions and you will in no way contaminate Dudley or Diana, do you understand?"
Harry's lower lip quivered. He was just a baby, of course he didn't understand.
Vernon took him out the room and put him in the cupboard under the stairs.
"Petunia, he can stay in there. We're not giving up our guest room for that freak!"
Petunia left the room to go make breakfast for her family. Diana crawled to the cupboard, where Harry was sniffling in.
She saw some crayon's which Dudley had gotten for his birthday. She crawled over to the crayons and took them to the cupboard. Diana couldn't fit the crayons through the bottom. She tried to slide them under the door, but it didn't work. As she tried for the sixth time, the box went through as though the door didn't exist.
This started a beautiful friendship between Harry and Diana. But there was always one question. How did the crayon box go through?
