Normal POV

= Year 1014 After The Gods Decent=

BOOM!

"Bell, what the hell is taking so damn long? We can't keep the damned Kyros away much longer!" Screamed a short blond pallum at a young white haired man.

"This is very complicated Finn, I had to update my stats to finish it, but you are doing very well. I will be done in just a minute" Replied Bell, The runes were taking much longer than originally expected although it is not that surprising. After all the runes were extremely complicated and took him a long time to make sense of

As Bell was finishing off the final pieces of the magical circle, a fearsome battle was ongoing not far away between the last of the Loki Familia, the last standing Familia in the world, and the awakened monstrosities that had slaughtered all life on the planet they came across.

"Bell, they are breaking through! I don't think we can hold them off any longer. Either you're done or all of us are finished!" Finn informed Bell.

"It's done, good work! I will return and do everything in my power to stop this from happening, you have my word old friend!" Bell said as he stepped into the center of the shining mass of runes. All of a sudden Finn was sent right into the massive tent nearly collapsing it.

"Finn! Are you alright?" Bell asked anxiously

"I'm fine Bell." *Cough* "Just go, you need to leave or this will all be for nothing. You are the only one out of all of us with the potential to stop this, so just go!"

As Bell listened the runes were slowly closing in on Bells position. Meanwhile a rustle was heard as a figure entered the tent.

"It's over Cranel, we have won. This is the last colony that your people have, and now you are all gone, Just give up." The demonic figure spoke with an icy voice that instilled fear in all that heard it.

"Unfortunately, It seems as if you are mistaken, we accomplished what we needed. See you in another life, Sylvios." Bell calmly told the figure as the runes finished the enchantment, and Bell collapsed on the ground.

*Sigh* "Such a foolish creature, did he wipe his own mind with a spell he does not understand?"

Sylvios asked himself as Finn took the liberty to answer. "No, but i would not expect you to understand." *Cough* "You have already lost, our goal is reached." The moment Finn finished Sylvios stuck his blade inside his mouth, killing him instantly. "Quiet worm!"

"What are you playing at, Bell Cranel? You know that you can't hide from us, so why prolong the inevitable?" Sylvios asked the empty corpse as a status paper flew by.

Bell's POV

=Year 1006 After The Gods Decent=

"Ugh, my head. Is this a side effect to time travel?" I mumbled as I slowly sat up with my pounding head... as well as my back? No this can't just be from the time travel, can it? As I open my eyes I realize I am in my old room from before I became an adventurer. The room at my home village, Tenby. I haven't been here since I turned 14.

The room was relatively small with just a table, wardrobe, bed and a mirror. I stood up with a little difficulty and looked into the mirror. "This is not what I wanted to do! Why the hell am I 14?" I panicked in my mind, in reality I wanted to return with my body as well, *Sigh* but it seems I can only return with my mind. As I turned around to look at my back I painfully realized why my back was hurting as well, it was the falna, or lack thereof. Of course, after 8 years with the falna I have gotten so used to it, that without it, it almost hurts.

This is a problem though, if i don't have my falna, that means I won't have any of my skills or statuses. This is only a minor setback, all I need to do is get a god to give me their blessing and I will be set. I have to prevent the Kyros from awakening from inside the deep part of the dungeon, although I have 6 years to do this, that's plenty of time for me to prevent what happened in the future.

As I mentally shake my head to clear my thoughts, I walked to the table and noticed it had books littered all over it about hero stories like the great Giorgio, the dragon slayer. If I am honest with myself, these hero stories are deep inside a big part of who I am, after all they inspired me to become an adventurer after my grandfather died.

'Wait a second, don't tell me… Grandpa?' I thought as I rushed out of the door and downstairs to see if he was alive. What I found instead was the village elder sitting by my table with a sad look upon her face. I quickly realized that this was the day that I found out that my Grandpa was killed by a monster while hunting in the woods the previous night.

"Ah young-ling, come here, take a seat. I need to tell you something but you need to prepare yourself, it will not be easy to hear." She said in an almost inaudible raspy voice, 'Just like last time. This was where I decided to become an adventurer, to honor my grandfather's memory. I need to act surprised or i will draw unnecessary attention to myself' I thought as while I sat down at the table

"Young-ling, you may wonder where your grandfather is. Am i correct?" The Elder asked

"Yes" I quietly answered in a faked scared tone "Well, I don't know any other way to say this… but your grandfather is no longer with us." She said in a sad tone

"What do you mean?"

"Your grandfather is no longer alive. He is in Tenkai, the gods' world. He has passed on, young one." She replied as I slowly lowered my head and forced a couple of tears to escape.

"Can you leave me alone, I need some time to think on this" I said making her confused

"Young one, it is better to let others comfort you in a situation like yours, I don't see the need for you to be le…" She said before she was interrupted

"I will handle this situation my own way, so please… leave me alone"

*Sigh* " Okay, but I will check up on you tomorrow, is that alright"

"Of course elder Miriam"

As she left I already started heading upstairs and packing everything I needed for a journey to Orario. There was no need for me to stay here, my only link to this place, my grandfather was no longer here even in this timeline. Instead I should focus on my mission, and It's completion.

I decided to pack only the essentials so that I can reach Orario faster and more effectively without the added pressure of extra weight. I learned this skill after years of running from the Kyros. It was simply more effective and let us avoid danger more often.

As i was done i listed everything i brought with me in my head

'Toothbrush, check. Toothpaste, check. 10 000 Valis, check.' This went on for 5 minutes before I decided to sneak out of the back window, into the woods. 'At least it was easy to act surprised, even though it still hurt to know that he's not coming back' I thought as i started to focus on the direction to Orario

'If I'm correct, 500 meters forward in this direction and I will be through this forest and on the main path that leads to Orario' I thought while traversing the forest terrain. As the path came into view, I started to wonder how this timeline will look in the end, if I will be able to stop the tragic event of the future or not. These thought continued as i followed the path to my next adventure

Normal POV

=1 Week Later=

"Man, this took way longer than I anticipated." Bell mumbled his complaints

"This definitely did not take this long the last time I traveled to Orario to become an adventurer. Though that may be because my memory is a little fuzzy from all the way back then… or now? Damn that thought is confusing"

As Bell ranted to himself The great city shining under the magnificence of the Babel tower appeared across the horizon. As Bell noticed it, his heart soared at seeing the place after it was destroyed way in the future.

'I'm here, it is time for me to continue my adventure, and stop the awakening before it's too late.'

"HERE I COME ORARIO" Bell screamed with an almost giddy expression on his face as he started to sprint towards the City where legends happen.

That was the first chapter of the story I intend to write. I plan to continue this and get a new chapter released at least each week.

In case you like it or didn't please review and tell me anything I should improve on. I'll be looking forward to everything you all have to say, even if it's bad!

See you next chapter :)
