Class 1A of UA high were all currently in class, well all except for Bakugou who was still under house arrest due to his fight with Midoriya.
Aizawa, better known as Eraserhead, was explaining to the class about the work study programs.
"Listen to learn more about the work studies, I asked 6 3rd years to help explain it to you," Aizawa told the class.
"3rd years?" Kirishima raised an eyebrow.
"And 6 of them," Momo said.
Aizawa nodded "These 6 are at the top of UA, and because of their work studies they are at the levels of pros"
"There at Pro Level already," Kaminari shouted in shock.
"Seriously," Sato said.
Aizawa nodded "Yeah, and they'll be teaching what you can learn if you go into work-study, so take what they say to heart you'll all learn a thing or two from them"
"Yes, Sir" the class shouted.
It was then the door to the class room opened revealing six students the first one was a muscular blonde simplistic looking man with noticeable scars on his arms, he was smiling, with his tongue pariall sticking out, following him was a young girl with long periwinkle hair, she had an innocent smile on her face. The next man was a young pale man with indigo hair, the man had a passive look on his face.
Following them were three other students, one was another man with salmon pink hair, and had a white scarf around his neck. The neck was another man with long spiky black hair, he had piercings on his face which gave him a sort of punk look. Lastly was the final girl she was the shortest among the group she had blue haired tied in pigtails.
Class 1-A was shocked and amazing seeing the students who were supposedly the top students at UA. Midoriya especially was in amazement and his eyes were focused on the blonde man as it seemed he had a look of familiarity on his face.
"These guys are UA's top students," Kirishima said in amazement.
"So cool," Ashido cheered.
"They're the pinnacle of UA," Tenya said.
"They're the ones who are the closest to being pro heroes," Momo added.
"They are the students we have to be like," Kyoka said.
"They don't seem that different than us, and two of them are really cute," Kaminari responded as he eyed the two girls among the group in front of them. Mineta was also eyeing the two girls but with a more perverted sense.
Midoriya who was eyeing the blonde man said "He's that one from before," he thought as he remembered their random encounter a few days ago. "So he's one of the top students at UA," it was then Midoriya's memory of him went back further as he remembered the entire group from watching the Sports festival. "But he didn't place very high at that time, not to mention those other two," he then eyed the longer haired girl and the passive one. "They didn't rank that high either, but the other three," his gaze then went towards the salmon haired man, the pierced man, and blue haired girl. "Those three took the top spots at Sports Festival two years ago,"
"Alright let's start with introductions," Aizawa stated he then turned. "Amajiki, can you go first,"
Amajiki nodded and sent an intense glare towards the class, scaring the first years.
"What's with that look," Kirishima said, shocked.
"The intensity all from a glance," Iida said, shaking.
The class believed that Amajiki was trying to scare them with that look, but in actuality, he's imaging their heads as potatoes with human bodies. Amajiki then started to shake and shiver in embarrassment "I can't do that," he mumbled. The other third years just looked at him confused, "Mirio, Hado-san, Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy-san. Even when I imagine them as potatoes everything except their heads remains human. I still can't seem them as anything other than human. What should I do I can't say anything," he continued to shake. The class A students just blinked not knowing what's going on with him. "My mind's going blank," Amajiki stuttered and he then turned around in embarrassment "I want to go home,"
"Huh?" Class A was stunned.
"Um, Are you sure you're a top student at UA," Ojiro asked the shaking third year?
Hado then innocently smiled "Hey hear that Amajiki-Kun, they called that having the heart of a flea, even though your human. It's so strange" she smiled, and she then turned to face the class "Hello I'm Nejire Hado, and the flea is Amajiki Tamaki" she introduced. "We came here to discuss the work-study program for you first years," it was then Hado began to go around the class asking weird childlike questions to the students and not giving them time to answer her.
"She seems so childlike," Ashido was surprised.
"But it's really kind of cute," Kaminari smiled in attraction to the childlike Hado.
Aizawa's' aura then started to get scary and he glared at the other four "Is this acting rationally" he glared.
The other four straightened out at the teacher's glare. The blonde man then looked at the teacher and tried to reassure him "Don't worry Eraserhead we're almost done," he then faced the class "Nice to meet all of you I'm Togata Mirio," he said with a kind and reassuring smile which Midoriya noticed reminded him a little of All Might.
Natsu nodded nervously at the teacher "Yeah that's right," he then faced the class with a toothy confident smile. "My name is Natsu Dragneel," he put his fist to his chest. "I'm the one who taking the top spot as a hero," he said with confidence.
Gajeel then smirked at the class which kind of creeped out class A "I'm Gajeel Redfox and you damn first years better show me some respect," he shouted at the class. "And I'm the one who going to take the top, not this loser," he pointed at Natsu.
"What you say," Natsu glared.
"You heard me," Gajeel glared back.
"You want to go huh," Natsu snarled.
"Yeah and I'm going to kick your ass," Gajeel yelled. The two then jumped at each other and started to fight each other. Making the class sweatdropped and Aizawa glared and he then used his bandages to bind Natsu and Gajeel to stop the fight.
Wendy sweated dropped at this and she turned to the class "And I'm Wendy Marvell it's nice to meet all of you,"
Mirio then ran up to the podium cupped his ear and leaned in "The future is…."
The class had no answer as they have no idea what's going on right now. "Gonna be what?"
"GRIM!" Mirio laughed "That's what you were supposed to say, All right my call and response was a complete failure," he continued to laugh.
"All of them except for the blue-haired girl are completely weird," Sato whispered. "Even though they are the top students,"
"You can't feel it with their personalities," Tokoyami said, expecting all of them to be the serious types.
"Well all you guys look confused and seem to not understand what's going on, I mean us third years just dropped in, and we were told to explain the work-study to all of you, even though it's not really required, it confusing right," Mirio said, he then looked at the class, he then stroked his chin and a lightbulb went off in his head. "You guys all got your provisional license as first years. You guys sure are energetic, and my jokes didn't work either,"
"Mirio," Amajiki said, eyeing his friend. Natsu looked at Mirio and blinked when he figured out what he was planning.
Mirio then raised his fist in the air "Why don't you guys fight me all at once,"
"eh...EH1" Class 1-A all shouted in shock.
"Fight you," Kirishima blinked.
"Right out of the blue," Iida said.
"It's most rational to have you guys experience our experience right," Mirio grinned "What do you think Eraserhead,".
Aizawa just looked at Mirio "Do what you want," he answered giving his approval.
Natsu smile "Hey don't leave me out Mirio, I want to fight them to,"
Mirio grinned "I knew you say that. So why not,"
"OH YEAH!" Natsu jumped excitedly.
Gajeel smirked "Guess "I'll join in too, not fair if Salamander and Lemillion get to have all the fun,"
Training Area
The students of 1A now all wearing their training uniforms were all getting ready to fight Mirio, Natsu, and Gajeel.
"Are you guys really serious about us fighting you guys,' Sero asked.
"You bet we are," Natsu answered as he stretched.
"Yeah, this is the best way to teach all of you," Mirio said.
"Mirio, Natsu, Gajeel, you guys shouldn't do this," Amajiki said, still staring at the wall. "It would have been enough if we just gave an explanation of how the program works and how it benefited us, and that. Not everyone is filled with ambition. We can't end up with kids who can't recover from this,"
"What do you mean," Kirishima asked.
Hado who was messing with Ashido's horns smiled Oh didn't you hear, long time ago there was a student who got so frustrated that he quit being a hero, and it caused the school a whole mess of problems," Hado smiled "Its tough right Togata, Natsu, Gajeel, if you don't think things through its going to be rough,"
"Hado-san please stop teasing Ashido-san," Wendy tried to stop the girl from playing with the first year's horns.
"Wait a minute," Tokoyami called out to the three facing his class "There's a handicap in place, but we fought with pros before,"
Kirishima smiled with confidence "and we fought villains before, do we really look like weaklings you guys need to worry about,"
"We're not necessarily saying you guys are weak, you just all lack real experience," Natsu pointed out.
"And this is the best way to show the gap between you guys and us," Gajeel smirked.
Mirio nodded "Right you guys can come at us anytime you want, so who'd be first"
"Then I'll.."
"I'll go first," Midoriya interrupted Kirishima.
"So sudden Midoriya," Kirishima shouted.
Uraraka was also shocked by this, but she remembered Deku vowing he will catch up to them despite his suspension.
"You guys, this will be a good experience for all of you make sure to learn what you can," Aizawa shouted.
Mirio smiled "Problem child, so you'll be going first,"
"He sure is full of energy," Natsu Gajeel smirked as well.
"The top students of UA" Midoriya thought. "If I'm going to spar with them, this is the best I can ask for," Midoriya then got into his fighting position activating Full Cowling "me now and the top students how big is the gap between us,"
"The close combat team should surround them," Sato shouted.
Kirishima smiled "Yeah, alright Senpai-Tachi," the other 1A students all got their quirks ready and they are all ready to fight. "Thank you for teaching us,"
Midoriya then jumped ready to attack, but then suddenly Mirio's clothes slipped off his body. Shocking the entire first-class.
Kyoka turned red and covered her eyes and screamed.
"Your clothes fell off," Sero shouted.
Natsu signed "Again,"
"He seriously needs to fix that," Gajeel said.
"Sorry, there's some fine-tuning to this," Mirio fumbled as he tried to put his pants back on.
Midoriya who was still in the air prepared to kick him "Your full of openings," however Midoriya's kick went right through him. Midoriya landed on his feet behind Mirio "As I thought his quirk; lets him pass through things, how should I fight this,"
Mirio smiled at Midoriya "Wow you went for the face," as Mirio was talking though, tape, acid, a laser slip through his body, and Mirio didn't seem to notice. Midoriya saw the attacks heading towards him now and he swiftly dodged them and it hit the structure behind him.
"Wait" Iida orders Aoyama, Sero, and Mina to stop their attack "They're gone," seeing that Natsu, Mirio, and Gajeel are gone.
It was then Mirio suddenly appeared behind Jiro shocking her seeing that he was still naked. "Long-distance fighters should be taken out first,"
"He warped," Shoji said shocked.
"He doesn't just slip through things," Sato shouted as he ran towards the rear.
"What kind of strong quirk is that," Kirishima shouted.
"No it isn't like that," Amajiki said when he heard Kirishim say this, "Mirio's quirk is not one to be jealous of first years, you should fear his skill. After being scouted and his work-study, Mirio trained tirelessly to become a hero."
Mirio swiftly defeated all the long-distance fighters, he put his pants on. "POWER" he shouted. Shocking all the close combat fighters of the first-year class.
"Togata Mirio, out of everyone I'm sure he is the closest to number one, even among pros," Aizawa said, complementing Mirio's abilities.
"He took out more than half in an instant," Todoroki said shocked.
"You are not joining in," Aizawa asked him.
"But I don't have my license yet," Todoroki responded bluntly, and Aizawa sweat drops.
"Wow they went down pretty quick," Natsu said.
"Well it's Lemillion after all," Gajeel told him. "We should get going out there too," Natsu nodded at this.
Mirio looked at the other first years "Looks like the close combat ones are left,"
"What the hell just happened," Kirishima said, still shocked.
"He can slip through things and warp," Uraraka said.
"Doesn't that make him unrivaled," Ojiro said.
Hearing this Natsu signed "Those kids are still not getting it,"
"There has to be some kind of trick to it," Midoriya said, and the others look at him. "He may be slipping through things and warping but he needs physical contact to attack, so if we aim for the counter we may be able to win,"
Kirishima smirked "Alright thanks Midoriya as always you're amazing,"
Midorriya eyed Mirio, and his gaze went to where Natsu and Gajeel were "But he's not our only opponent,"
"Guess it's time to join in," Natsu smirked, his fist then ignited with fire and he sent the blast of fire towards the first years.
"EVERYONE GET DOWN!" Midoriya shouted and the others looked behind them and saw a blast of fire coming their way and they all dodged.
"Oi First years, remember Mirio isn't your only opponent," Natsu said, his fist engulfed in flames.
"A fire quirk," Mirdoriya said. "Like Todoroki-kun and Endeavor,"
"Mirio, it's not fair you took out half of them already, let me and Gajeel have some fun too," Natsu shouted.
Mirio apologetically smiled "Sorry about that, I guess I'll leave the close combat ones to you guys,"
"Alright First years, let's go," Natsu said "I'm all fired up now,
"Damn I was so focused on Togata-senpai, that I forgot about the other two," Kirishima grunted.
"Let's stay focused since we now know he has a fire-based quirk then we can formulate a strategy, if it's similar to Todoroki-kun and Endeavor's fire then we shouldn't stay too close for too long," Midoriya told them, the others nodded and got back into a fighting stance. "What will he do," Midoriya then tried to prepare himself for a counter move, but to his shock, Natsu suddenly appeared in front of his face. "He's Fast"
"He was ready to counter, but.." Natsu noticed the stance Midoriya had Too Slow," Natsu then punch Midoriya in the face knocking the first year back.
FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST
"Midoriya-Kun," Iida shouted.
It was then Gajeel appeared behind him, shocking Iida. Gajeel smirked "Hey, don't get distracted easily kid," Gajeel then punched Iida right in the stomach. Natsu then attacked Koda, and Gajeel attacked Sato, knocking the two out.
"Only a few of you left huh," Gajeel snickered.
Kirishima then charged at the two "Don't underestimate us," he activated his hardening ready to attack. Gajeel quickly blocked the punch, Kirishima was stunned seeing that his body was now covered with an iron shell. "Its the same as Tetsutetsu,"
Gajeel smirked "not a bad punch kid, but you have to do better than that," Gajeel then threw Kirishima up in the air.
IRON DRAGON SPEAR
Gajeel's arm then turned into an iron pole, and it struck Kirishima in the stomach, this move shocked the class.
"His skin became iron like Tetsutetsu, and he can turn his body part into weapons," Ojiro said.
"Amazing," Hagakure said.
It was then Natsu then appeared in front of the two shocking Tail man and invisible girl. Natsu then took a deep breath.
FIRE DRAGON ROAR
Ojiro and Hagakure were then sent flying, knocking the two to the ground and completely knocking them out. Gajeel then went towards Uraraka and snick "Sorry bubble face,"
IRON DRAGON HARD FIST
"POOOWWWWEEEEERRRR" Mirio loudly cheered when Gajeel finished the fight.
"Guess that's it," Natsu said, seeing all the first years taken out.
"Yeah, guess we shouldn't have expected much they're strong just lack any sort of skill," Gajeel signed.
Hado then went beside Wendy and Amajiki "Hey don't you guys think Togata, Natsu, and Gajeel gotten stronger,"
"Those three have always been strong, I just wish those three would learn to hold back," Amajiki eyed the beaten first years.
After some time the first years recovered all rubbing their bruises.
"I tried to make sure none of you guys see my willy," Mirio apologetically said "So I'm sorry ladies," Mirio then smiled "Well I guess you all get it now, right,"
"We were all taken out in one blow and we didn't know what was going on," Midoriya groaned, rubbing his bruised cheek from Natsu's punch.
Mirio smiled at the class "Do you guys think our quirks are strong,"
"YEAH THEY ARE TOO STRONG," Sero yelled.
"IT'S NOT FAIR! YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT US," Hagakure said.
"YOU CAN SLIP THROUGH THINGS AND WARP," Ashido then turned to Gajeel "YOU CAN HARDEN YOUR BODY INTO STEEL AND CHANGE YOUR ARM INTO A WEAPON, AND YOU CAN USE FIRE LIKE TODOROKI-KUN AND BREATH IT, ARE YOU GUYS HYBRIDS LIKE HIM,"
Mirio smiled, and Natsu and Gajeel snickered at the first year's questions.
"No I just have the one quirk," Mirio smiled.
Natsu smiled "Well you can say, me, Gajeel, and Wendy is kind of similar to Todoroki,"
"You see my quirk is called.."
"I know it," Hado interrupted "I know what his quirk is, its called Permeation,"
"Hado-san, just let Mirio speak," Amajiki said still facing the wall.
Mirio smiled "That's right my quirk is called Permeation, what you guys call a warp is an application of that"
"How exactly do you warp?" Midoriya asked subconsciously writing notes on his hands.
"When I activate my quirk throughout my entire body, then my body can through everything, everything that means the ground as well," Mirio answered.
"Then that means you were falling through the ground," Uraraka said and Mirio nodded.
"That's right and something strange happens when I released my quirk, it seems that mass can't exist over mass so when I release my quirk I'm repelled," Mirio smiled."So in easy terms, I'm repelled back to the ground in an instant, that's how my warp works. And If I alter my body's direction and angle, then I can aim where I'm repelled,"
Ashido pouted "Sounds like a game glitch,"
"You can say that," Mirio laughed.
"So you can move anywhere and avoid attacks in an instant, such a strong quirk," Tsuyu said.
"No it's not a strong quirk," Mirio disagreed "I made it strong. When I activate my quirk my lungs can't take in oxygen, even when I breathe it goes right through him, the same to vibrations to my ears, and light through my eyes. When I use my quirk I can't feel anything, only a sense of falling. You get it, even the simplest things as getting a leg through a wall requires a lot of critical thinking and steps," The entire class was shocked by the drawbacks of Mirio's quirk and how it requires a lot of thinking.
"If I were to do something like that I mess up right away," Kaminari said.
"It sounds scary not being able to feel anything," Mineta said.
Mirio nodded "Because of that when I started I dropped dead last, but I couldn't stay at the bottom forever, that's why I focused on predictions," he smiled "I had to think faster than others, I had to be tricky, and think ahead of others, and what made that possible was my experience at the work-study and I built my predictions on what I knew. It was rather long but that's why we wanted to fight all of you, unlike the internships the work studies treat you as sidekicks and pros, not as guests. It gets scary, and as pros, you see a lot of dark stuff, but those scary and painful things you'll through be the first-rate experience, that you can't have at school"
Mirio clenched his fist and with a smile "I changed my work-study experience into power and reached the top of UA. That's why its something you should do even if you are scared, first years,"
"Turn experience into power," Midoriya said shocked.
Class 1-A then started to clap after hearing Mirio's inspiring speech "Even his speech is like a pro's" Ojiro clapped.
"I can't believe he did this for us, even though he could have just explained it," Momo smiled.
"Guest, huh I did feel like that at the internship," Kaminari said.
"They didn't let us do anything dangerous," Kyoka told him.
"So that means it's nothing like the internships," Sero said.
"Now that we have our provisional license we are treated as pro-heroes," Iida said.
"Right," Uraraka nodded.
"We have to be prepared," Sato said.
"Yeah just what I wanted," Kirishima smiled with confidence.
"That's right we came to UA to become heroes after all," Hagakure cheered.
Shoji nodded "That's right,"
"C'est la vie," Aoyama smiled.
"All we can do is up," Tokoyami said.
"Plus ultra," Koda smiled.
Todoroki just eyed his classmates "I need to catch so I don't get left behind,"
Midoriya then turned to Natsu and Gajeel "Oh that's right, Natsu-Senpai, Gajeel-Senpai what exactly are your quirks," The others then faced the two.
"Oh that's right you guys mention your quirks are similar to Todoroki in a way," Kirishima said.
Natsu smirked "Well my quirk you can say is similar to Endeavors in a way,"
"That's right you can also breathe fire," Ojiro noted.
"Yeah," Natsu nodded "and I can produce fire from other parts of my body,"
"And I can produce any kind of iron weapon from my body," Gajeel gave a short explanation.
"Well we don't have much to say as Mirio-san just explained everything," Wendy smiled.
"Alright that's it for today everyone gets back to the dorms," Aizawa shouted.
"Hey we didn't do much huh," Hado said to Amajiki and Wendy.
"We didn't need Mirio to get the point across," Amajiki said and Wendy nodded, Natsu and Gajeel did as well and the third years left the training area.
Midoriya looked at the back of the third years "Using it had too much of a big minus, but he had used the most of his power, in order to do that he used his experience and learned predictions" Midoriya keeps his eyes on Mirio "it's not someone whos at the top of UA its someone who worked hard to take the top, Third years, Togata Mirio-senpai, Natsu Dragneel-senpai, and Gajeel Redfox-senpai"
Back at the main school building, the third-year students were discussing what happened with the first years.
Hado smiled at the group "Hey you guys didn't know that we thought guys will hurt them for no reason right, but no one got seriously hurt so you guys did a great job,"
Natsu grinned "Thanks Hado,"
"Those first years aren't too bad," Gajeel snickered.
Wendy smiled "Yeah they're all full of energy,"
"It was close though," Mirio smiled "My willy…"
"Did anyone catch your eyes," Hado asked him.
"Well I didn't get see much, since Natsu and Gajeel wanted to fight them, but that problem child seems promising as it seems he was ready to calculate when I will attack next, I bet Sir will like him right Natsu," Mirio turned his Salmon haired friend and Natsu smiled and nodded.
"You got that right he has a lot of potential," Natsu grinned, "Anyway me, Gajeel and Wendy have somethings to do, see ya later Mirio, Amajiki, Hado," The group of three then went off in another direction.
Fido smiled and waved "See ya guys in class tomorrow,"
Once Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy separated from the Big 3 they continued their own conservations.
"Mario is right those first years are energetic," Wendy smiled.
"Yeah, you can say that," Gajeel said.
"Still we were like that too," Natsu smiled and Gajeel and Wendy nodded. "Still can't believe it's been three years since we showed up here,"
Wendy smiled "Yeah I wonder how they are doing,"
"I bet they're having all kinds of cool adventures," Gajeel said thinking back to his past.
Natsu nodded and looked out the window "Once we finish what we have to do here, we'll find our way home," Gajeel and Wendy nodded in agreement.
"Don't worry we'll be back soon"
