Who is the Auroral Wing Dragon?
Formally known as the Bifrost Guardian Dragon, this mystical, godlike dragon serves as a protector of the divine realm on Cray. Previously, it prevented interlopers from the earthly realm from encroaching on the divine one, as well as punish lower deific beings from crossing into the earthly realm to abuse their powers. It was thought to be lost in a major battle against advancing Collapse hordes, literally falling from the divine realm after a brutal blow, but was rediscovered in Avalon, being nursed by healers and having lost most of its memories. It still maintains its strong sense of justice and endless empathy, making it a valuable warrior for righteousness. It's new form comes packing two magic spears- Baldur and Hodur- and is a dear friend of Uther's young children.
What is the Battle for Avalon?
The Collapse had eyed Cray on occasion, but Sekwan-Hak had never committed a full invasion of the planet for unknown reasons. With probing actions yielding stiff resistance, there was little reason to. However, with the planet becoming consumed with a spiraling conflict, Sekwan-Hak believed the intelligent races of the planet have finally crossed the line into self-destruction, thus allowing it to cull it from the universe. He mustered a sizeable host of interdimensional horrors, choosing the realm of Avalon as it's landing zone. The horde was met by a hasty alliance of three nations- the United Sanctuary (Avalon's suzerain), the Dragon Empire (offering a sizeable host, headed by the rising Dragonic Glaivemaster), and Star Gate. The battle was ferocious, with many horrors managing to pierce Avalon's walls, but eventually the entirety of the Collapsed disappeared when Glaivemaster relinquished his KEIEN powers to temporarily enhance Uther's blade. With the mighty Flametounge, Uther exercised Sekwan-Hak from the dimension, ending the Collapse forever.
What is Neo Avalon?
As a commemoration of Cray's victory over the Collapse, the three nations of the alliance have all agreed to jointly rebuild Avalon as a new, shining metropolis. With the scientific backing of Star Gate, the magical resources of the United Sanctuary, and the wealth of the Dragon Empire, the new city-state stands as a monument of what can be accomplished when Cray works together. The city and many of its surrounding lands are subject to a three-way truce, preventing the parties from fighting with each other in that realm. Uther is currently the 1st High Lord of Neo Avalon, hoping to pass his titles to his children with Gawain as their guardian. Glaivemaster is one of their biggest proponents and allies, which is beginning to stall his meteoric rise due to Avalon's old ties to the United Sanctuary. As of now, Neo Avalon is a ascendant power on Cray, and Flametounge is tucked away in the Mountain Vault, hoping to never be needed again.
