Story Start!

"Lord Fujin and Lord Raijin are furious!"

Storms, lightning, tornados, and untold disasters were visible on top of a mountain, forming and splitting as if by some unnatural raging forces. To the humans in the village, it must have been a horrifying thought that the gods of the land were furious about something. That usually meant that their village would no doubt been punished, destroyed, or forced to go through other great suffering.

"Are you sure that we should be here Souji?" Sirzechs Lucifer asked as he glanced to the man standing next to him.

The Ex-Leader of a Japanese police force, a skilled swordsman with next to no equal in skill. The two of them were well dressed and good looking men, both who were the only ones in the village at the moment who weren't trembling with fear.

"I heard that Lord Raijin and Lord Fujin were going to destroy the village, this village once did me a great service... I can't allow that service to go without being repaid. The Lords of Wind and Lightning are gods, but they can still see reason. I wish to calm their rage." Souji Okita stated seriously. He could feel the air trembling with the power of the gods that raged on the mountain. They weren't visible from their current location, but a strike of lightning struck across the sky and split in two when it reached the mountain.

A tornado formed above the mountain, struck down on the mountain, before dispersing itself.

"It seems they are fighting each other." Sirzechs noted.

"Lord Raijin is a feared god, while Lord Fujin is a protector god who isn't above tormenting humans. I can take things from here Master." Souji stated as he bowed to Sirzechs, before turning to run to the mountain.

-On the Mountain-

"Human trash, die before a strike of lightning!" A large oni-bodied creature riding on the storm cloud shouted as he gathered a bolt of lightning in his hand. He and another oni-god next to him had small cuts on their bodies, and their blood dribbled off of their muscles.

"It was this trash that cut you." A young man stated.

The young man was no older than 16, but his golden hair reflected the sunlight, and he had bright blue eyes. He wore an orange kimono with white bandages around his belly, with a twig hanging from his lips. He had his sword lifted up and pointed towards the god that were across from him, and he had a savage smile on his face.

Raijin through a bolt of lightning at him.

"Die!"

"Fool." A second young man appeared in a flash and cut the bolt of lightning in half with his own sword. He had pale skin and black hair, with black eyes, and he landed on the ground in front of his blond ally. His sword sheathed as he landed, the bolt of lightning striking two trees behind them and setting them ablaze.

Fujin formed a tornado and directed it at the second man.

The golden haired boy jumped while spinning, going straight into the heart of the wind. He spun his sword around and dispersed the tornado with the power of his sword strike. He didn't sheath his sword, but instead threw it towards the god of wind. The second young man jumped into the air and unsheathed his sword.

*Tap*

The blond placed his foot against the flat of the unsheathed blade, and used it as a jumping point. In a single motion, he crossed the distance between him and Fujin. While the second man cut a fast bolt of lightning in half without wasting a single motion.

"Human Trash, the name is Naruto!" Naruto punched Fujin in the face as he grabbed his sword with his free hand, and slashed the god across the forehead, cutting off one of his horns as he did so. He jumped back down to the ground as landed on his feet.

A tornado formed behind his ally and would had struck him down, but dragging his sword across the ground, he swung upwards and cut the wind spiral down.

"I didn't need your help, you Power Idiot."

"Don't be like that Sasuke, you fragile Speed Geniuses can't take a hard hit. Anyway, go ahead and activate that special ability you have."

"You won't get any mercy from us, we will send you down to the depths of Yomi!" Raijin roared as thunder bellowed around him. He jumped from his cloud and landed roughly on the top of the mountain, his muscles bulging as his fellow god joints him.

"There will be no reincarnation waiting for you, only torment and suffering." Fujin grabbed his bag of winds and unleashed a strong wind towards the swordsmen.

Naruto cut the wind in half.

"That's why we're here to kill you, because I'm sick of humans being at the mercy of such easy to anger gods... pffft, as if such ugly oni could be called gods anyway." Naruto laughed as he rushed forward. Behind him, Sasuke just sighed and ran passed Naruto, cutting several bolts of lightning in half and redirecting them.

They were speed and power.

Power and speed.

"Brother, these humans-"

Raijin was forced to clap his hands together and force both Naruto and Sasuke to back off, as he cratered the ground around him in a giant clap of thunder. Fujin grabbed a boulder and threw it, using the wind to make it go flying with far greater speed and power than before. It went straight for Sasuke while he was in the air and unable to dodge the blow.

"Come on now, you can't go picking on fragile pretty boys like that!" Naruto slammed the back of his sword against the boulder and shattered it. Naruto grinned a challenge at the god, and the two rushed towards each other.

Raijin would throw strikes of lighting, balls of storms, but not a single attack got beyond Sasuke as he struck each attack down. Raijin approached Sasuke as a bolt of lightning picked him up and carried him behind Sasuke, with his weapon already swinging down at Sasuke, a massive mass of lightning building up in the clouds.

"Redirect this!"

The ball of lightning came down from the sky.

Naruto whipped his arm back and used his sword, holding it above Sasuke's head as he ran the lightning mass along the edge of his sword. With both hands, he quickly flung the mass of lighting into Fujin's face, while Sasuke used his own skill to dance with the wind that Fujin had going at Naruto, and with it he pushed Raijin back.

"Stop protecting me, I've got myself covered."

"Fine, fine, I won't protect you Sasuke-chan."

"I hate you."

"We can kill each other later." Naruto stated with a giant toothy grin as he rushed back towards Fujin, who had been knocked to the other side of the mountain top by te redirected attack. Sasuke smirked in response and ran at Fujin while dragging his sword across the ground, sparks appearing wherever the sword touched.

With one step, he twisted his body and flung a shower of sparks into Raijin's eyes.

Naruto on the other hand threw his sword up into the air when Fujin reached out with his hands towards him. His hands met up with Fujin's hands, and the two began a contest of strength with neither one of them backing down.

"Heh... ARG!?" Fujin roared in pain when the sword Naruto threw stabbed into his shoulder, and right as he had started to push Naruto back. Naruto let go of Fujin and jumped up, kicking him in the nose while he yanked his sword out of the god's shoulder. He used his other leg to kick Fujin's nose a second time, and with a loud snap it bent to the left. "Naruto!" Fujin roared Naruto's name as he swung his arm.

Naruto twisted in mid air and the attack sailed underneath him, with Naruto landing on his feet with his sword already in motion.

Raijin on the other hand, stepped back from Sasuke as he covered his eyes, preventing the sparks from getting in them. The second he did so though, Sasuke appeared behind him. He turned around to face Sasuke, but the second he did so, Sasuke was already gone in another burst of speed. Several cuts appeared on Raijin''s back and chest, and several more appeared on his arms.

Sasuke was smirking as he ran circles around Raijin.

Fujin lost an arm when Naruto was finished swinging his sword.

"Killing each other... that means you better not get killed by these so-called-gods." Sasuke stated to Naruto as Fujin's arm landed on the ground nearby him.

"GAR!"

"You're joking if you think a little breeze like this can kill me, I'm Uzumaki Naruto. If anyone is going to be put in the dirt, it's you." Naruto didn't even gaze as Sasuke as Fujin's blood sprayed across his face and chest. He didn't so much as blink as the blood got in his eyes or mouth, all he did was swallow the blood that landed there and open his eyes even wider.

Raijin's fresh wounds spurted blood across Sasuke, the two of them getting more and more covered in the blood of gods.

"You wouldn't stand a chance, you're all power and no technique."

"I don't need technique when nobody can predict what I'm going to do next, you swordsmen who think technique this don't understand the value behind a swordsman like me, who taught himself how to kill." Naruto stomped his foot on a broken tree branch and snapped it in half. Fujin quickly recovered and flung tornado and uprooted trees alike towards Naruto.

Naruto stabbed his sword through both halfs of the tree branches, turning his sword into a club, and he bat each tree that came at him away. He stood his ground firmly in the wind, and took a strong step forward. With a mightier swing, he threw the tree branches off of his blade and right into Fujin's mouth.

Sasuke saw three bolts of lightning come at him from different directions.

He cut the first bolt of lightning in half, and the two halfs of the lightning bolt collided with the two other bolts of lightning. He raised his sword up and swung his blade into the two bolts of electricity, and quickly gathered them up. Before they could race down his sword, he stabbed his sword into the puddle in front of him. The gathered bolts rushed to fill the entire puddle, with Raijin having a foot in the puddle.

He was shocked by his own lightning and gave a roar of anger at such humiliation, forced to back away from the puddle.

The lighting also travelled towards Naruto and electricuted him as well.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Naruto's hair stood on end as he recieved all of the power directly through his entire body. Sasuke clicked his teeth when Naruto didn't die, but Naruto pulled his fist back and swung it forward.

He grabbed onto Fujin.

He shared the electricity in his body with the other god, who gave a roar of pain. Naruto had burn marks all over his body, but he just kept grinning as his left arm gave a quick spasm.

"That hurt you bastard."

"Don't call me fragile." Sasuke smirked as he ran at Raijin, his feet so fast that when he touched the electrified puddle, the electricity in it didn't even have the time to get more than an inch of up his sandles before each foot was out of reach. He ran across the water and cut through Raijin's flesh, inflicting another small wound on him as more blood splattered across his back. "Uncouth brute." Sasuke added an insult for good measure.

Naruto ran through the puddle.

He started to punch Fujin with his free arm, and he used the flat of his sword to batter Fujin and give him shock after shock.

"Come on Lord Fujin, strike me down, show this human how unmerciful the gods are!" Naruto kept Fujin on the defensive the entire time. In the end, Fujin jumped up and landed on a golden cloud, escaping Naruto's punches and strikes. Electricity was still coursing over Naruto's body, and he was still taking damage from it the entire time. "Okay, now I'm getting pissed off." Naruto grabbed his sword with both hands.

He swung it and with a great swing, all of the water in the puddle went flying across the mountain, spashing across Raijin as Sasuke hid behind the god.

"You just tried to attack me." Sasuke noted.

"If you weren't fragile, then you wouldn't have needed to hide behind Raijin." Naruto laughed at his payback.

Naruto stabbed his sword into the ground and raised both of his hands up, catching a boulder with them and stopping it dead in it's tracks. A massive tornado was forming in the sky as Fujin glared down at Naruto.

"Come here!"

Raijin moved like lightning as he chased after Sasuke, but Sasuke was too fast and Raijin was never able to put a single finger on him. Each time one of his attacks missed, he would pay for it with a new cut across another part of his body. More of Sasuke's body was getting covered in blood, until he had about the same amount of blood covering as Naruto.

"I'm not fragile, just not dumb enough to take an opponent's attack head on."

"I know, that is why I'm going to be the one to kill you." Naruto reminded Sasuke as he threw the boulder in his arms up and it slammed against Fujin. The tornado in the sky stopped forming when the god controlling it lost his concentration.

"What!?"

"Come on, fight me down here little man!" Naruto cut down a tree with his sword, and then he grabbed it and flung it up into the sky at the god. "Fight me!" Naruto roared with amused glee. "Do it, fight me like a man!" Naruto taunted the oni god.

Fujin landed on the ground in front of Naruto.

He had already grown his cut off arm back, using his time in the sky as his chance to regenerate it.

He opened his mouth and blew a gust of wind into Naruto's face.

Naruto reached out and grabbed his horn and held onto it. With a firm grip, he slashed with his other arm.

"Die!" Raijin gathered all of the lightning in the area.

Over 100 bolts of lightning raced down at Sasuke from every direction imaginable. Not even Sasuke would be able to redirect every bolt of lightning, so he didn't. He ran through the gap between each bolt of lightning as it crashed down at every step he took. He rushed at Raijin and sheathed his sword quickly, before he unsheathed it.

Fujin and Raijin lost their heads.

Naruto was completely coated from head to toe in the blood of the wind god as his headless body fell forward. Fujin's decapicated head snapped at Naruto.

"A curse on you-" Naruto stabbed his sword through Fujin's forehead.

"It's man that drinks the blood of gods." Naruto used his sword to raise Fujin's head up to the sky, opening his mouth as blood rained down on him. "I slay man and god alike. I've slayed 1000 men and a god, and bathed in their blood!" Naruto proclaimed as he drank of the blood.

Red rings appeared around Naruto's eyes.

Sasuke filled his sake cup with Raijin's blood, and drank of it until similar red markings appeared overhis eyes, his skin changing color slightly to become more pale. He politely bowed to the god that he killed.

"May you be returned to Yomi, where you came from." Sasuke offered his fallen god a small prayer, to end him off to his death with.

Naruto and Sasuke turned to each other.

"Well then..." Naruto grabbed Fujin's scarf, and he allowed it to float around his neck as he controlled it. He walked towards Sasuke with the bag of wind in one hand, and his sword in his other hand. "... Hello there God of Thunder..." Naruto greeted Sasuke sarcastically as a ring floated behind Sasuke's back, with thunder drums on the ring.

Sasuke drew his sword once more.

"Greetings, Wind God..." Sasuke stated as he stood a step towards Naruto.

The new gods turned their murderous intent towards each other.

"Lord Fujin and Lord Raijin, please reconsider-" Souji appeared over the edge of the mountain, with Sirzechs following after him. Souji stopped talking when he saw the headless corpses of the oni gods, and he looked at the new gods that stood in their places.

Humans turned gods.

Sirzechs looked at the scene in front of him as well, confused over the apparent deaths of the gods. Not just gods, but two extremely powerful gods in the Shinto religion.

'... These humans... no... they have Raijin and Fujin's divine powers now... these gods...' Sirzechs could feel that all of Raijin and Fujin's powers had transfered into the men who had killed them. Apparently not just killed them, but bathed and drank of their blood. "God of Thunder and God of Wind, my servant Souji Okita wishes to-"

Naruto sighed.

"The mood is ruined, two random men appearing really ruins the desire to kill." Naruto sheathed his sword and started to walk away. His desire to kill Sasuke over now that random people had showed up out of nowhere.

Sasuke scoffed, but he turned around with his sword sheathed, doing much the same. He did so without speaking a word to Naruto.

'I'm going to need a new outfit.' Sasuke thought.

Now that he was a god, his human clothes were not longer good enough for him.

"Fuck, these clothes have oni blood on them." Naruto stripped his kimono top off and tossed it to the ground, so that only his black pants were the clothes he wore. He jumped off the mountain as a golden wind appeared under his feet, and he started to fly off. "Better get some new clothes." Naruto stated as a reminder to himself.

Sasuke grinned when he heard his rival say the same thing he was thinking, he jumped up as a blue cloud appeared under his feet, and he flew away into the opposite direction.

"Now to destroy the village that banished me." Sasuke stated with a dark smile.

Naruto on the other hand grinned.

"Time to see what amazing tricks I can do!" Naruto put the wind he was riding to the test, and started to do tricks in the sky.

The birth of two gods.

Lord Raijin, a feared god who destroyed anyone who displeased him, was replaced by a man who followed those exact same ideals.

Lord Fujin, a god of wind who protected the nation from threats while also destroying it, an unpredictable god was replaced by an unpredictable man.

A godly rivalry was born as well.

Naruto and Sasuke both have artwork by Kishimoto himself depicting them as representing Fujin and Raijin, they have official figurines as them in their "god" forms as well, and the Naruto and Sasuke used for this were based off of the "Naruto Shippuden Ending 6" video.
