The blonde Uzumaki with red highlights walked beside the last loyal Uchiha with Koyrai silently resting on top of his head.
Behind the three were Jiraiya,Tsunade and Shizune with her pet pig; Tonton waddling beside the short haired ravenette. "Listen Tsunade-Hime I Kn-" the busty blonde groaned at the white haired man.
"Jiraiya you're lucky I'm coming back at all." she stated firmly, "I will not nor will I ever even consider becoming Hokage." the male Sannin sighed at the woman. "I will heal as many people as possible and when I feel I've done a good enough job I'm gone." The last Senju said with absolute finality.
As the group walked closer to the now destroyed gates of Konoha both Tsunade and Shizune looked on in horror at the sheer damage the Village had sustained.
Almost every other building was destroyed and the ones that weren't seemed to be on the brink of collapsing. The streets were upheaval and the village almost seemed deserted with how little people there were. "I'm sure you remember where the hospital is, by some miracle it's still standing." Jiraiya told the two woman. "Come on Sasuke, Naruto we need to report to the council." Both teens nodded in understanding.
After properly identifying themselves to the guards they entered the Hokage tower and soon stood in front of the Fire Daimyo and Konoha Council.
Jiraiya took a step forward. "We have successfully convinced Senju Tsunade to return to active duty as a Medical Ninja but we," he coughed and re-worded himself. "I was not able to convince her to take the Hokage mantle." he stated with a straight face. "I believe she can't be convinced to take the mantle now or in the future and as per our agreement I will take the Hat effective immediately." Both Chunin eyes widened at Jiraiya's declaration.
The Fire Daimyo nodded along with the council. "Then let's prepare for your inauguration, you have a lot of work to do." The older, brown skinned ruler turned towards the two Chunin with curiosity and what looked like hope before turning back towards Jiraiya. "What can you say of the two Chunin that were under your command?" he asked with a serious tone.
"Both teens performed adequately for being newly promoted; they acted with dignity, respect and skill for their position. They're both highly skilled individuals and I dare say they will one day reach extraordinary heights but they still have much growing to do. Naruto is highly emotional and easily tricked, Sasuke shuts down when things don't go his way and becomes aggressive quickly. Both Chunin looked uncomfortable at how easily the man was discussing their flaws.
The Fire Daimyo nodded with a light hum and turned back towards the two boy's. "Do you two know the qualifications of achieving the rank ofJonin?" Both teens nodded and Naruto stepped up.
"To be promoted one needs to complete fifty C-rank missions, twenty-five B-rank missions, and twenty-five A-rank missions, they must have led at least seventy five of those hundred missions and have taught at the academy for a minimum of three months. After the minimum requirements have been achieved we are immediately put under evaluation until the Chunin in question is promoted to the rank of Jonin." The leader of the fire country nodded but a moment later Sasuke stepped forward.
"But there is also another way to be promoted; have at least two Elite Jonin recommend you for a promotion after at least six months of active duty or have another Chunin, Special or otherwise Jonin who has been active for at least five years recommend you after a year of duty and then take a exam on Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Shurikenjutsu with the option to take sub tests for Bukijutsu, Decryption, stealth, Fuinjutsu, and several other exams. If you pass more than seven of these exams then you officially become an Elite Jonin, pass the standard four you become a run of the mill Jonin and pass at least one you become a special Jonin on a year's probation." the brown skinned ruler nodded.
"There's also one more way to be promoted that not many people know or even able to accomplish; successfully complete an S-rank mission." Both boy's eyes widened at the information. "Under normal circumstances we would have never allowed freshly minted Chunin, any Chunin really to partake in a S-rank mission but given recent events such as Konoha losing half of her forces due to the invasion and the other half is critically hospitalized and how we are partially responsible for the death of Iwagakure's Kage and who the Kage for Otogakure is..." the Fire Daimyo began to age rapidly with ever word he spoke.
"Well we need as many capable Shinobi as possible; You Naruto seem to have almost full control of the Nine tail's power,'' Naruto looked uncomfortable at the man's words. "and you Sasuke have reached the full potential of the Sharingan, even surpassed it." Sasuke seemed to almost glow at the words spoken to him. "To not use your talents to the fullest degree possible in such dire times would be almost criminal, so as of right now you both have been promoted to Jonin rank effective immediately.'' Both teen's looked at each other in surprise, eagerness, and slight fear.
"As Jonin you will be required to perform A-rank missions by yourselves and if needed and you will most likely will be needed, to perform S-rank missions as well. The Academy has also been destroyed and given the state Konoha is in it has been decided that until we get back on our feet it will not reopen, so we are requiring every Jonin to take on a two students from second year and above to teach whenever their not on missions; Naruto your students are Sarutobi Konohamaru and Hyuga Hanabi." The blonde Uzumaki gave a nod in understanding. "Sasuke your students will be ise Udon and Kazamatsuri Moegi. Dismissed." The two newly promoted Jonin bowed and almost robotically walked out of the council room.
The two remained silent even when they reached the dirt road. It was only after twenty minutes of walking around aimlessly that the two looked at one another. "We became Jonin after only six months... How?!" Naruto questioned with insidiousness.
"I.. I don't know." Sasuke muttered in return.
"I'm going to talk to vist Tenten." The last Uchiha gave a nod and as the Uzumaki walked away Koyrai called out to the ravenette.
"Bye Ojisan!" Sasuke gave a slight wave and walked towards his compound.
Naruto looked towards Tenten's family weapon's shop, as he walked in he saw an older woman with short brown hair and wearing a green Yukata, she looked towards the blonde Jonin and smiled. "Naruto-Kun Tenten's upstairs getting ready for a team meeting." the blonde with red highlights nodded.
"Kaa-Chan have you seen-" Tenten called from the staircase behind the curtain, as she entered the store she stopped her question and smiled widely at the Uzumaki. "Naruto-Kun!" she squealed in excitement and leaped into his arms. "You're back!" she exclaimed and peppered his cheeks with kisses.
"Missed you too." Naruto stated with a smile as he endured her assault.
"It makes my heart swell to see my daughter so happy." the woman behind the counter said, stopping the Genin in her tracks. "But if you make me a grandmother too soon I will be taking the tool that did the deed." Naruto blanched at her words and the serene smile on her face.
"Kaa-Chan!!!" Tenten screamed with a bright blush and the woman simply chuckled.
[Terrifying woman,I knew there was a reason I liked her.] Kurama muttered and Naruto internally scoffed. [Of course that won't stop us from showing love to our mate.] The giant nine tailed fox told his container with arrogance.
'Yes it will!' Naruto screamed at the nine tailed Kitsune who growled at the blonde.
[Coward.]
"So you're telling me every Genin has been stripped of their Jonin-Sensei and been placed in... a Genin corps where any Chunin or Special Jonin can pick from to help with tasks or low risk missions that may need more manpower." Tenten nodded as the two walked through the village.
"Yep. Right now we're supposed to focus strictly on D-rank missions and training, nothing more. At least I have a boyfriend who can take me on missions though, right?" Naruto winced and the brunette frowned. "What?"
"I.. I was actually promoted again and I guess for the foreseeable future I'll be performing A and S-rank missions by myself." Tenten's eyes widened at the blonde.
"Weren't you made Chunin like a month ago! Why wou-" she stopped after a moment. "because of Kurama." Naruto nodded and she sighed. "I.. I guess that makes sense." she rubbed her neck.
"We won't have a lot of time with each other will we?" Naruto smiled and lightly kissed her lips.
"I'll make time." Tenten blushed and tightly gripped his palm with her own.
"So how was the mission? You never told me what it was." the Genin with warm brown eyes asked.
"Sasuke and I were task with helping bring Senju Tsunade back to take the Hokage position," Tenten eyes widen and a excited grin encompassed her face, " we did get her to come back but she refused to take the hat." he looked towards his girlfriend who seemed to vibrate with joy.
"Do you think she would take on an apprentice? Kami it would be life changing to learn under a Sannin; the knowledge, the experience they could give!" She exclaimed and Naruto held in a wince.
"Honestly I wouldn't try." Tenten frowned at the blonde. "She's um... kinda a bitch." Tenten gasped at the Uzumaki actually winced at the sound.
"I know how much you love her! But whoever she was in the history books she isn't that person anymore." the bubbling weapon's mistress frowned heavily at the Jonin before her eyes lit with pure determination.
"I'm still going to try! That's what you always preached isn't? Give it your all until your bleeding on the ground barely able to move!" Naruto tilted his head in confusion at his girlfriend's words.
[That is what you've preached; maybe not with words but definitely in actions.] Naruto conceded to the point and nodded with a smile.
"Who knows, maybe you'll be the person who removes her head from her ass." Naruto stated and Tenten smiled largely at the blonde teen. "So... is Ichiraku open?" The double bun brunette let loose a loud snort and wrapped her arm around his own.
"Nope! but Byuffe Sushi reopened." the blonde Uzumaki with red highlights pouted which was quickly wiped off when the Genin pecked his lips.
Koyrai himself felt an excited bubble in his stomach rise. "Yessss!!!! I love Sushi!" He jumped up and down on his father's head and both teen's laughed at the red coated Coyote.
After the trio finished their meal Naruto and Tenten went their separate ways. The Uzumaki and Personal Summons went to their apartment.
The blonde immediately went cross legged and focused on his circulating chakra, after a moment of concentration he froze his internal power and pulled it towards his core. Once he gathered all his chakra he evenly separated and transformed one half in fire and the other into wind before slowly intermingling them.
Naruto could feel the two chakra nature's slowly combining until the energy exploded and forcefully recirculated throughout his chakra network. Kurama quickly healed the damage done to his heart and the Uzumaki tried again and again.
After about three hours the Kyubi grew tired, [Maybe you're doing it wrong. We've spent a month trying to mix the two chakra nature's together but it simply isn't working, maybe it's like making a Bijuu bomb; I need to mix an eight to two ratio of positive black chakra and negative white chakra, you may need a ratio instead of two equal halves.] Naruto's eyes widened and groaned at why he never thought about doing that.
'Right! Ice is definitely more water than wind and wood is more earth than water! Where would I be without you Kurama?' the blonde asked and the Kitsune smirked, arrogance flowing off his body.
[Dead. In a ditch.] Naruto chuckled before refocusing on his internal energy and pulled it towards his core. Once it rested at his core the blonde decided to take it slowly, separated the energy into incredibly uneven halves, he transformed the largest chunk into fire and the smallest into wind and slowly mixed them.
Nothing happened but the energy didn't explode and recirculate which Naruto counted as a win. The Uzumaki continued the process for the rest of the day, transforming more of his chakra into his Wind nature.
It was only after the next day, the Sun just beginning to rise did he feel his chakra change into something new, warm, and light. The Uzumaki had made seventy five percent of his chakra wind and twenty five percent fire and his new Kekkei Genkai was born.
Naruto released his hold on his energy and it flowed through his network, he could feel his body energize and strengthen, like every cell in his body was bursting with power. [Wow, this... it feels amazing.] Kurama muttered and Naruto nodded in agreement.
The blonde with red highlights stood up and crossed his fingers into a plus sign and a clone made of pure light appeared in front of him. "Let's see what you can do? Create another Clone." he commanded and the clone crossed their fingers but nothing happened. "Aw man, you can't use any Jutsus!" Naruto complained before sighing. "Hit my palm." The clone winded his arm back and struck his creator's palm.
"Agh!!" Naruto held his hand in pain, he looked at the now broken appendage and then at the bright, sun-like Clone. 'My... my entire arm is broken!' he internally exclaimed but his eyes popped open when he felt the bones and muscles mend a moment later.
[Well it looks like you won't need my chakra as much.] Naruto nodded in astonishment.
He looked towards his still Clone and punched it, trying to dispel it but it simply fell on it's ass. "I... think that makes up for my Clone not being able to use any Jutsu." Kurama nodded in agreement.
'Let's see what else this thing can do.' Naruto smirked in thought.
Naruto spent the next several hours at team seven's training grounds and found out some interesting facts about his Kekkei Genkai and his new Clone Jutsu.
He was a lot stronger, faster, healed much quicker, and was incredibly durable when using what he was now calling Light release .It literally filled his body with energy much like Kurama's chakra did and it took around twenty minutes for his chakra to return to normal.
His Light Clones were much stronger and heavier then he was but also much slower, once dispelled no memories would return but they would explode in a bright, blinding light and it took alot of force to even scratch them.
His light release was frighteningly powerful but as the blonde figured out it didn't have a lot of applications besides the physical upgrade mostly because since he invented it there were no Jutsu for it. 'All I need is time, I mean how hard is it really to make my own Jutsus?' He thought in reassurance, already feeling better…
before he heard roaring laughter.
[ Oh Kit, your a fucking idiot.] Kurama sarcastically coed at the Uzumaki.
'Whatever.' Naruto mentally waved him off. ' I knew what every hand seal means, all I need to do is figure out what kind of Jutsu I want to create, figure out the right handseals… then the right sequence to put those handseals in, the right amount of chakra to use... and then I... need to shape.. and.. mold it... in… ' with every thought the life seemed to drain from the blonde's body. 'Fuck that's actually alot of work.'
Kurama laughed obnoxious at his Jinchuuriki's predicament.[Let's not forget how you also want to figure out how to speed up the circulation of your chakra, create a Wind release:Rasengan, learn to become a Sage, and achieve world peace; one of these goal could literally take you a lifetime to even partly make into a reality and you want to accomplished all four.] Naruto sagged at the giant fox's words before he perked up.
'Except I have Shadow clones; so at least concerning abilities It won't take decades, it won't even take a couple years.' Kurama hummed.
[Good point but it will still take a humongous amount of work.] Naruto chuckled.
'What else is new.'
Naruto spent the rest of the day and night meditating, trying to increase his chakra circulation and new Jutsu's to make for his Light release. With trial and error he found out that he couldn't make a Light Release: Rasengan or Shunshin, and he couldn't summon his weapon.. or summon at all, frankly it was a miracle his light release was compatible with the Shadow Clone handsign.
When the next morning came the blonde with red highlights was still in a deep trance. [You should increase your chakra control to the highest degree possible before trying to artificially increase it, it would make it alot easier to increase your chakra circulation, as it would be thin as possible then.] The blonde nodded in agreement after a moment of thought.
"Naruto-Niichan!!" His eyes snapped open and he saw a familiar group of academy students along with Sasuke, and a girl around Konohamaru's age with familiar pupil-less eyes.
As the group of five came closer Sasuke gave the Uzumaki a strained smile. "They caught me as I was walking around the village." Naruto laughed and stood from his cross legged position.
"How did you guys know I was here?" the Uzumaki asked and Konohamaru puffed his chest, ready to spin a tale of genius, courage and pure nerve.
"Because-"
"I saw you earlier today." the brunette deflated and glared at the tan Hyuga.
"I hate you." the spiky haired boy muttered and the day brown haired girl stuck her tongue out at the boy.
"I'm guessing you're Hanabi?" she nodded and bowed.
"Thank you for saving me and my sister." Naruto blinked and chuckled with embarrassment.
"It was no problem." he answered back before turning towards Konohamaru. " So, excited to have your Nii-Chan as your teacher." the young boy nodded with a large smile.
"Super excited. I can't wait to become as awesome as you!" Naruto smiled and ruffled the boy's hair.
"What about you ise, Moegi?" the two kids gave happy nods on either side of Sasuke.
"Okay!" he exclaimed. "If I remember correctly, the Hyuga begin chakra control exercises early right?" his tan skinned student nodded. "So you can tree and water walk?" he asked and she nodded once more.
"What's tree and water walking?" Konohamaru asked with Ise and Moegi tilted their heads in confusion and Naruto grinned widely.
The blonde turned towards a tree and without hesitation or a moment of pause walked up the bark.
The spiky haired brunette jaw dropped as he stared at the older boy. "Awesome!!" he exclaimed with his two friends nodding in agreement. "How did you do that!" Naruto smirked.
"I channeled Chakra to the bottoms of my feet that allowed them to cling to the bark. Too much I would've exploded away and too little nothing would've happen." three out of the four children nodded paying rapt attention. "Its the same principle when using Jutsu's; too much chakra and your likely to kill yourself or destroy the surrounding area, too little and nothing of significance happens." Konohamaru raised his hand high up into the air.
"Are you going to teach us how to do that fire Jutsu?!" Naruto shook his head and the young boy pouted.
"That's a little too advanced, you gotta learn to crawl before you can walk and only after learning to walk can you then run." all the young children groaned.
"Now I want you all to close your eyes and take deep breaths through your nose and out your mouth and try to focus on your chakra." the four groaned much louder.
"You're supposed to teach us cool Jutsu's and how to be elite Ninja's not mediation! I get enough of that from Ebisu!"Naruto chuckled at Konohamaru for a moment.
"Trust me Hamaru-Kun, what I'm trying to teach you is something that you will hopefully use for the rest of your ninja career." The third Hokage's grandson pouted but nodded a moment later.
"I already know how to meditate, can I practice my Kata's?" Hanabi asked and Naruto shook his head with a small smile.
"No. Now breathe and focus on your chakra." she groaned but nodded and did what the blonde asked.
After a good thirty minutes all four children were breathing evenly and seemed focused. "Remember to feel the chakra in you, feel it circulating throughout your body, strengthening it, warming you from the inside out." Sasuke drew out.
"You have lived most of your lives without it, without your internal energy constantly thumping within you. Your chakra is new and still foreign in a way, it is like the sun; unmistakable and easily found." Naruto continued from where his ravenette friend left off from.
[Dear Father, this is boring!!] Kurama complained which Naruto easily ignored.
"And now stop the flow of chakra, remember this is your energy, it is as much apart of you as your arms and legs and like your arms and legs you do not tell it stop, you do not command it, it is yours and like your appendages as long as you want it to stop, it will." Naruto continued with his lecture with an easy smile. "Once your chakra has stopped, be prepared to feel cold, your chakra provides a small amount of heat because of its circulation."
Both teens kept their eyes on the four young kids and after another ten minutes Naruto saw Hanabi shiver first and then the other three followed soon after. "Now slowly pull your chakra to the center and compress it as much as you can." Another minute both Jonin saw the academy students' skin pale drastically and the shivers become much more pronounced.
A moment later Konohamaru gasped and his eyes snapped open, the boy tried to take several deep breaths and calm himself but it seemed to be a losing battle as several tears escaped from his eyes.
"I'm sorry N..nii-chan! I tried reall-" the young boy's words became muffled as he was pulled into a hug by the blonde thirteen year old.
"It's fine Konohamaru, the important thing is you did it, you all did it on your very first try. Congratulations!" he told the brunette and the rest of the young children who opened their eyes and took deep breaths.
Naruto released the boy and took a step back. "Chakra is the lifeblood of all Ninja but without control it becomes useless. What you all just learned was how to suppress your chakra, which will hide you from most sensors but most importantly it has taught you the first step on internally channeling and molding your energy." Hanabi pouted and Naruto simply patted her head and she scowled up at the young Jonin.
"I know you already have the basics down but trust me this will help in the long one, it will give you finer control." Hanabi nodded after a moment. "Now go home and practice this for the rest of the day and tomorrow I will teach you how to tree and water walk." three out of the four academy students looked excited.
As the four young kids left the training ground the two Jonin turned towards each other, "So... I made a Kekkei Genkai." Naruto stated and Sasuke's face immediately twisted in supreme surprise.
"What?!" Naruto smiled at his shocked face. "How?!"
"I suppressed my chakra, separated it and then transformed one part of my chakra into fire and the other into wind, I then mixed them and boom." Sasuke dropped his jaw at the explanation and then started chuckling.
"Will... will you ever stop surprising me?" the last loyal Uchiha asked and Naruto shrugged before branching onto another topic.
"I think we should learn to mold the other Chakra Natures; We both already know the ways to mold each Nature and this is a perfect way to get as strong as possible. "Sasuke looked skeptically at the blonde.
"Even with Kurama and your chakra heal bite it could take months, maybe even a few years with missions and teaching." Naruto smirked and crossed his fingers and after a large explosion of smoke at least two hundred shadow clones appeared behind him. " You know I can't make that many Clones." the blonde's face didn't drop for even a moment.
"You will." Naruto unwrapped his right arm and presented it to the ravenette who after a moment realized what his fellow Jonin was thinking and smirked.
Sasuke bit into the blonde with red highlights flesh and crossed his fingers in a familiar sign, as a single second passed two hundred identical Sasuke's appeared behind the Uchiha.
As the ravenette released his hold on the blonde's arm he stumbled for a moment before steadying. "Let's do Earth first." Naruto nodded in agreement and the four hundred and two Jonin got to work.
Tenten was with several other familiar Genin in an open field. Ever since Konoha Crush and losing their sensei's to the new system they had sorta made their own little group.
It really helped get their minds off all the changes they were experiencing and keeping their skills sharp, they even taught each other a few tricks.
At the moment the double bun brunette was sparring against Ino who struggled greatly against her and eventually was knocked unconscious.
As Tenten stared at the unconscious girl who was only a year younger than her, she wondered if she went too far before remembering how absolutely useless she was during the invasion.
How Naruto was forced to fight his Otou-San, defend Konoha's citizen's, and lost himself in the process.
She remembered Sasuke defeating a Bijuu single handedly and suffered severe Chakra exhaustion and how her and every other Genin and most Chunin hid like cowards.
Tenten knew she and most of the ninja in the village couldn't compare to the two freshly minted Jonin; Naruto was fierce, driven, and unpredictable. Sasuke was intelligent, calculating, and uncompromising in the face of adversity.
The two of them were scary in the best and worst ways possible; Naruto was willing to go to any length for who he considered friends, Sasuke was merciful to those who hurt the people he loved.
She had no doubt that they would become greater than any other Ninja in the Konohagakure, past or present and who was she?
Who was anyone in the face of them; The Jinchuuriki of the nine tails, The most powerful Bijuu in the world and The last loyal Uchiha who managed to improve the Sharingan, the most powerful Dojutsu in the world.
This was most likely why everyone in what is now called the rookie twelve which was more like nine since Naruto and Sasuke were Jonin now and Neji didn't care about any of them was training with a crazy amount of intensity.
She remembered the look of defeat on Kiba's and Hinata's face, the utter hopelessness on Sakura's when Naruto left that bunker after his Otou-San, none of them could help, could offer support. All of them had to sit and wait wondering if their friend was dead.
When everything was over and done with and the Genin corps were established with the knowledge that they no longer had the resources of their Sensei's knowledge, that most likely they would be forced to sit and do nothing for the foreseeable future while Naruto and Sasuke were putting themselves in constant danger, something snapped in most of them.
Even the lazy Shikamaru who barely cared about anything had put on his big boy pants and started to put in a lot more work.
They all wanted to be there for the two boys and the only way that could happen is if they were at least promoted to Chunin as soon as possible.
She hadn't seen Naruto in a couple days but Tenten knew he was training to insane levels and she wouldn't be left behind, that's why she had made an appointment with Tsunade later in the week.
Maybe she would train her, maybe she wouldn't but she would at least try, didn't she own at least that much to Naruto, to her friends.
"Hey did you guys hear, the Fifth Hokage is being announced this afternoon." Kiba called out exhausted on the ground.
"Yeah, Naruto-Kun mentioned it. It's Jiraiya of the Sannin." Tenten called out and all noise in the field stopped.
"Naruto's back." Ino asked with a quiet voice.
"Do... how is Naruto-Kun?" Lee questioned, freezing mid push-up.
"Yeah, never really got to see him after.. you know." Kiba scratched the back of his head.
"He's fine, he and Sasuke were promoted to Jonin, so if you guys want to talk to either of them you have to do it in the next week or so before they start getting deployed on missions." Almost everyone's jaw dropped at the information presented to them.
"Kami damn it, how will I ever catch up to those bastards!" Kiba exclaimed to the sky with misery clear in his voice.
"Do not fret Kiba-Kun, we simply need to work even harder to match their flame of youth!" The bowl haired ravenette exclaimed with a fire clear in his eyes and resumed his exercises with greater enthusiasm.
Naruto stood next to Sasuke looking up towards the observatory platform of the Hokage Tower. Around him he saw familiar faces of Ninja and civilians alike ready to meet their new Hokage, he even saw Tsunade and Shizune in the back.
A few minutes later Jiraiya stepped forward, revealing himself to the waiting crowd. "I'm Orgata Jiraiya; The strongest of the Sannin, the Toad sage of Mount Myoboku, Writer Supreme, The lover of all woman, and now your Fifth Hokage!" he exclaimed with a large grin and the held Kage's hat firmly in his hand before he placed it on his head.
The crowd cheered and Naruto himself whooped at the man. [ He's definitely going to burn the Village into the ground.] The mix haired blonde rolled his eyes at the fox and continued to cheer.
After a few minutes the crowd began to disperse and as the two Jonin turned to leave so they could continue their training a girl with long blood colored hair and matching eyes which were hidden behind glasses stood in front of them.
"Um.. Hi?" she awkwardly waved and Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"Hi." The Uzumaki greeted in return before narrowing his eyes. "I know you... you're.. you're Uzumaki Karin from Kusagakure!" the full blooded Uzumaki female nodded. "What are you still doing here? shouldn't you have return-" the redhead shook her head quickly.
"No! no... I can't go back, I've been looking for a way to escape that place for so long." Naruto looked concerned for a moment. "Listen.. I.. well I was wondering since you're a Uzumaki and I'm a Uzumaki that maybe we could... I don't know hang out... so..metime?" she asked with an embarrassed blush which Naruto ignored and nodded with excitement.
"Of course! We're family, I would love to get to know you!" Karin grinned with happiness.
"Great! H..how about later this week, I heard this ramen place was opening an-'' Naruto raised his hand and took a hold of hers and surprised her with how intense his stare was.
"We're going to be great friends Karin-Chan." he told her with the most serious voice he could muster before his face widened into a large smile and he hugged her tightly. "How about Tuesday afternoon?" she nodded in agreement.
"Nar... uto?" a familiar voice called out and the blonde turned, seeing his girlfriend and several of his friends looking at him with unreadable expressions.
"Tenten-Chan meet my cousin Karin Uzumaki!" something seemed to relax the girl and walked up to the redhead and gave her a hand.
"Karin-Chan this is my girlfriend Kumaneko Tenten." the ruby eyed Genin of Kusagakure face seem to brighten and gave her hand in greeting.
It was much later into the afternoon when Sasuke and Naruto were called to the Hokage's office.
" "Hokage-Sama." " Both boys bowed to the man who immediately waved him off.
"Please no! Come on kids, we'd traveled together for a month, I taught you important skills, and shared with you my research!" Both Jonin blushed heavily at the last one. "Call me anything but Hokage-Sama please! I can already feel my individuality leave me!" Naruto laughed while Sasuke simply smirked.
"Sure thing... Pervy Sage!" Jiraiya groaned and his head hit the desk.
"Ugh!! You're really Kushina's brat! She called me the same thing.'' The blonde Uzumaki's face widened At that newly revealed fact. "Anyway I have several important things to discuss; first and foremost, I think the Daimyo made a mistake in promoting the two of you but I can't simply demote you for two simple reasons; one, he was right, Konohagakure is in deep trouble and we need as many capable high ranking Ninja to perform missions and bring in income, second is that after the Chunin exams and Konohagakure Crush your names have spread across the Elemental Nations and request asking for specifically you two are pouring in and given the state the Village in we can't exactly say no." the duo nodded in understanding. "I suggest the two of you train as much as possible in the next two weeks, that's as long as I can keep you from performing any Missions." The two nodded again and the white haired Hokage continued.
"Naruto, Sasuke as Jonin you have partially met the criteria Hiruzen-Sensei established and can be granted full Clan Head status of the Uzumaki and Uchiha Clan. If you accept these positions then a part of the newly rebuilt village will be given to you, seats on the Clan Council where you can discuss any pressing issues that could affect your people will be yours to control, you will be put under the Clan Restoration Act and will be obligated to marry within the next six months and sire an Heir to your Clan in four years, you will also be given a thorough medical examination with several liters of blood and semen to be examined in the next three months, the contents will then be stored in the case either of you die before a Heir has been birth, and then finally you will be given every surviving Uzumaki and Uchiha artifact along with literature we have safe guarded." Naruto and Sasuke felt horror fill their beings.
"Wait, there was more stuff that The third didn't return." Jiraiya looked uncomfortable for a moment before nodding.
"At the time you were simply Clan Heir and per Konohagakure laws you were not allowed to gaze upon any Uchiha held secrets until you reached the rank of Jonin and became eligible for Clan Head status." he explained as quickly as possible.
"What... happens if we don't accept?" Sasuke asked and Jiraiya frowned.
"Well I'm sure you've noticed how despite the Senju being co-founders of the Village, there is no Senju compound?" Both boys took a moment to nod. "That's because Tsunade refused to participate in the Clan Restoration Act and as such, the Senju were official disbanded, their property taken and made apart of the Village, all their knowledge absorbed into the Village for any ninja to learn such as the their Taijutsu which is no- was taught at the academy, several Ninjutsu that has become apart of every Ninja arsenal such as Shunshin, Clone Jutsu or more unique Jutsu's like Earth release: Mud Wall and Water release: Waterfall Basin." Naruto looked confused at the explanation.
"But wasn't my Kaa-Chan a Uzumaki, there was no Clan Compound and the Uzumaki Clan wasn't even a part of Konohagakure?" The blonde questioned with visible confusion.
"Well we were allies with the Uzumaki Clan and when their Village was destroyed we made ourselves the safe haven for any surviving Uzumaki to come, but your Okaa-San was the only one that ever came and that was only because she was a Jinchuuriki and... well,"Jiraiya scratched his cheek with awkwardness. "Your Okaa-San only became a special Jonin, specializing in Kenjutsu and Fuinjutsu." Naruto's eyes widen at the nugget of information. "Kushina's Seal was different from yours; it used the majority of her chakra to firmly bind Kurama, frankly it was surprising how powerful she actually became overall despite having over ninety percent of her chakra unavailable." The Uzumaki blinked and felt his respect for his Kaa-Chan increase.
[Hmm, that... explains a lot.] the giant orange fox muttered. [I always felt your Okaa-San had held a much deeper grudge against me than I deserved, I mean she hated me with a deep passion, even Mito didn't hate me as much as Kushina did and I almost killed her husband.]
"I agree." Sasuke firmly stated much to the surprise of Naruto. "I won't let my Clan die with me, I won't." the blonde with red highlights looked towards his new Hokage with hesitation.
"Can.. I have a few days to think about it?" Jiraiya nodded with a serious frown.
"You have a week to decide." the former Sannin told the whisker faced Uzumaki who gave a shaiky nod. "Sasuke-Kun since your Clan Compound is still partially standing you have two choices, we can either rebuild it or tear it down and move it."
"Tear it down, my Clan hated where the compound was located after the.." the last loyal Uchiha looked towards his friend who looked uncomfortable at the event he was mentioning, "anyways, yes move the Compound." Jiraiya nodded in understanding.
"Is there anywhere you could stay for the next few months or wou-" he began only for Naruto to interrupt him.
"He can stay with me." Sasuke smiled at his fellow Jonin and Jiraiya nodded in understanding.
"I suggest you take a few days and seal anything you want to take with you." Sasuke nodded in understanding. A moment later he white haired Hokage looked through his new desk and took out two scrolls; one with a Uchiha symbol which he tossed to Sasuke and a plain one which he threw at Naruto.
"That one is, well, everything we discussed the Clan Head should possess," Sasuke gave a nod. "and yours is everything your parents left you in their will." Naruto sighed.
"Isn't today just full of surprises." Jiraiya chuckled and gave a single nod.
Naruto looked towards Tenten's family weapons shop, the night surrounding him. The Uzumaki left Koyrai at his apartment feeling this conversation should be had with only him and his girlfriend.
As he entered the shop he saw the brunette father look at him and smile. "Naruto-Kun, Tenten is in the back training, you're welcome to join her." the young Jonin smiled.
He walked through the door behind the counter and passed their kitchen into a hallway, a few moments later he walked into a large room with hard wooden floors and a barefoot Tenten with loose flowing hair, wielding two bamboo Katana's striking a mannequin with grace and skill.
"Tenten-Chan." he called out and the girl stopped and turned in surprise before her face twisted into a happy smile. She immediately dropped her practice weapons and rushed towards the blonde, planting a smoldering kiss on his pale lips.
"Guess what?" she asked with a small smirk as she hung her arms around Naruto's shoulders.
"What?"
"I made Chunin!" Naruto's eyes widened and twirled the girl around the room causing her to laugh before planting a loud peck on her cheek.
"Congrats Tenten-Chan! I knew you could do it!" the blonde with red highlights exclaimed before his excitement died down which the mocha brown eyed girl immediately picked up on.
"What's wrong?" Naruto swallowed thickly before answering.
"Well um... Per-" Naruto coughed before continuing. "Hokage-Sama revealed some interesting news... um... I meet the criteria to become a Clan Head." Tenten looked confused.
"Cool?" Naruto laughed before quickly stopping.
"If I accept, I'll be put under the Clan Restoration Act which means I will be forced to marry someone within six months and have a kid in four years." Tenten blinked and horror filled realization dawned on her face which caused Naruto to panic.
"I'll say no! I love you Tenten-Chan, I know we haven't been going out for a long time, barely anytime but I love you and if-" Tenten covered his mouth with his palm, her entire face burning completely red from his confession.
The freshly made Chunin slowly lowered herself and took several deep breaths before removing her hand from the blonde's mouth. "Naruto-Kun... I... I love you too or I think I love you as much as a teenager with no real life experience can love anyone but.. but I don't think I can marry you- " Naruto felt his heart break.
"Then I'll say no! I'll say no, and we'll wait as long as we need to!" Naruto tried to take a step forward and tried to embrace the girl only for Tenten to take a step back with a hand raised up.
"This is your Clan Naruto-Kun, a chance to revive it.. you.. you can't just abandon it for someone you've only technically been dating a month." Naruto shook his head in denial.
"But I've known you for a lot longer, I've known you since we were academy students. I know I want to be with you for the rest of my life, now or in ten years." the Uzumaki said with complete reassurance and faith.
"Yo..you can't kn..know that." Tenten stuttered in reply but Naruto simply nodded.
"I do. I know what's in my heart and nothing will ever cha-" Naruto felt a hint of fear in the air with a smidge of desperation. "You're not sure if you want to be with me." he stated with certainty and heartbreak.
Tenten eyes widened and looked away. "I'm only fourteen Naruto-Kun, my whole life is ahead of me and.. and we only just started to go out and now you're talking about marriage and kids, and the rest of our lives?!" she exclaimed. "I.. I think I love you Naruto-Kun but I'm not ready for that kinda commitment or to help you decide if you should keep your Clan alive! We've only been dating for a month and I've only seen you a handful of times in that period." she breathed heavily with tears dripping from her eyes.
[Grrrr!! This... this Aghhh!] Kurama incoherently growled within Naruto, his nine powerful tails swinging, thumping against the ground. [ She is always hurting us! Always dismissing us! I hate her, loath her!] Naruto doubled over in agony, his insides boiling.
"Na... Naruto-Kun?" His blue eyes bled red and became pointed, the blonde could feel pure fury roll through them and hate for the girl in front of them penetrated every thought in their mind.
The.. they wanted to kill her. Wanted her to feel a fraction of what they felt.
Naruto looked up, red chakra bubbling over his skin causing Tenten to gasp at the killing intent directed at her and the Chunin's fear came out in droves. The whisker faced Uzumaki took a step forward and the tanned skin female fell onto the ground as she tripped over her feet.
The weapon's mistress face twisted in pure horror and Naruto began to realize what he was doing, thinking, and faster than Tenten could see or react vanished.
A moment later, realizing how much danger she was just in and how much she hurt Naruto broke down crying.
Naruto blankly stared at the wall in front of him. 'I.. I almost..'
[It was my fault Kit, I let my anger get the best of me and affect you.] Naruto shook his head.
'No, we.. we were affecting each other, I.. was just as angry as you were, our anger just combined I think, overwhelmed my sense of reason.' Kurama hummed and after a moment agreed.
[ I.. I suppose you're right, lately I've been feeling things that I never did before. I think.. I saw Tenten as much as my Mate as she was yours and when she broke up with u- you I felt my own heart break.] Naruto sighed and rubbed his face in his hands. [ Maybe we should put the sea-]
"No!" The Uzumaki immediately denied the suggestion. " I won't have you behind bars just because we became.. a little unstable, we know what's happening now, we're feeling each other's emotions right? My love for Tenten made you love her, and your anger for her... breaking up with me became my anger. We.. just need to be more careful, monitor ourselves more." Kurama shook his head.
[ It's not just that, I think I know why I've become so much more angry. My Yin half has been trapped in the Shinigami for over twelve years with only your Otou-San for company. I've started to get flashes of memories that make me so.. mad and things that I've learned to let go of have started to make my blood boil once more. When my Yin and Yang combined it threw my... everything off balance.] Naruto sat still for a moment.
'Okay that makes sense but... we'll figure it out together but I won't lock you up and throw away the key Kurama, never.'
Early the next morning when the sun had barely risen, Naruto visited Jiraiya in his office. "So that was shorter than expected." Naruto laughed before growing serious.
"I.. I accept the offer to become Clan Head of the Uzumaki's." Jiraiya nodded and tossed him a scroll.
"This is every scroll, artifact, history lesson, and secret the Uzumaki knew, good luck brat." Naruto nodded and after a moment asked an important question.
"What happens if I can't marry someone in six months?" Jiraiya raised an eyebrow.
"Then your title of Clan Head would be stripped, your mind ravaged by a Yamanaka to erase everything you learned from the Uzumaki Scroll and literature and then jailed for six months and put on a year of probation." Naruto swallowed thickly. "Would you like me to arrange a marriage for you?" The blonde remained silent for what seemed like a lifetime.
"No. Thank you Pervy Sage." he bowed and left the office and chuckled as he heard a loud thunk when he closed the door.
Naruto looked at the two scrolls; one much more personal than the other but both equally important.
He released the dull scroll and several boxes appeared. Naruto's eyes scanned the several packages and took a thin red wrapped one and carefully undid the paper revealing an ordinary box.
The Uzumaki lifted the lid and he saw a letter addressed to him lying on top of a green scarf with horizontal white lines. He took the letter and opened it.
/Dear Naruto, this is your Kaa-Chan; Uzumaki Kushina, There are so many things I want to tell you; right now you're about seven months along and I already love you with all my heart and soul. I.. have lived a tough life but I wouldn't change a thing as it lead me to your Otou-San. I write this letter because well there is a risk that I may not survive your birth but it's a risk worth taking to bring you Into this world. I just hope Minato takes good care of you and raises you into a proper man.
Kami there is so many things I want to say, it's insane how much I want to hold you in my arms, and shield you from the world, how I want to teach you everything I know about seals which I know your Otou-San feels the same but most of all I want to tell you that you are already the best thing in my life.
I can already imagine your vibrant Uzumaki red-haired and Minato's sky colored eyes, I can see the little mischief in them, I can feel the greatness in you Sochi. I know you will do great things in this world and if I'm not here to see it well at least your Otou-San and this scarf will be! Wear it with pride and finally Love you always and thank you for making me your Kaa-Chan, Uzumaki Kushina./ tears dropped onto the parchment as Naruto read through the letter and hugged it to his chest gently.
Naruto took several minutes and silently sobbed before he carefully followed the letter and grabbed the scarf. The whiskerd faced Uzumaki wrapped the long cloth around his neck and snuggled with it.
After a few moments he took another much smaller package and unwrapped it revealing a three pronged Kunai which was wrapped in aged sealing paper with a formula that was completely unrecognizable and incomprehensible to him, along with a necklace string through its circular holder with it's own letter laying on top of it.
Naruto quickly opened it and read it with fresh tears in his eyes./Dear Naruto, your Okaa-Chan is nine months and about ready to give birth and I can't wait to meet you my maelstrom. I am the Fourth Hokage, my name, my legacy has reached across the Elemental Nations. I have put a humongous burden on you Sochi and you're not even born yet, you will be expected to be as smart, as knowledgeable, as powerful as I currently am, and people will look down on you if or when you don't meet their expectations of being my exact clone and for that Sochi I am sorry.
I'm not sure if you will ever get this letter, I saw your Kaa-Chan write one of her own in case she... well.. in case she dies and I realized that so could I and I would want you to have something important of mine and know exactly how I feel.
Namikaze Naruto, you are the best thing in my life, you are my everything but you are not me, so I leave you with no obligation. You do not have to learn how to wield my signature Jutsu;Hiraishin, you do not have to become a Shinobi or follow even a fraction of my dreams, I just want you to be happy. I give you this Kunai not for you to use but because I have spent hours, weeks, months, years learning how to understand, make, and improve the Hiraishin, the most complicated sealing formula in the world.
I was told over and over again that I would never be able to figure out how it worked, let alone improve it but I did. It took me more than a decade and a half but I did it, and whatever your goals you can do it too and I hope this Kunai reminds of that fact.
Love you, your Tou-Chan; Namikaze Minato./ The blonde with red highlights sobbed and the parchment falling from his hands. Naruto looked towards the Kunai and gently took hold of it, he undid the clasp on the string and wrapped the weapon around his neck.
Koyrai who was sleeping soundly a moment ago groggily woke up to see his Tou-Chan and patted over, he leaped onto the couch and leaned down licking away his salty tears.
A moment later he opened the final package, the size of a two cinder block which was three photo albums full of pictures of both his parents from their adolescents to a week before he was born.
'They're trying to kill me from dehydration!' Naruto exclaimed internally as even more tears came from his moist, red eyes.
The next morning Naruto created a single Shadow clone with the directive to learn everything for The Uzumaki Scroll before leaving for training ground seven.
As he arrived he saw Sasuke practicing several Kenjutsu Kata's but stopped as he arrived. "Hey." Naruto called out and The last loyal Uchiha gave a short wave. "So I'm officially the Uzumaki Clan head." The ravenette looked confused.
"I thought-" Naruto shrugged.
"I talked with Tenten... we.. um... we broke up." Sasuke's face fell and when the blonde Uzumaki came face to face with the slightly older Jonin he leveled a hand on his shoulder.
"That's rough buddy." Sasuke said awkwardly and Naruto nodded.
"Yeah, anyway, did you have a chance at reading the Uchiha scroll?" Sasuke nodded.
"Yeah, did you know that the Clan Head learns a more advanced version of the Uchiha Taijutsu, it looks intense. And there's so much information on Sharingan Genjutsu, stuff I didn't even now was possible; I can enter people subconsciousness apparently." Naruto blinked. "There's so much to learn, I'm not sure if I'm actually up to it." The Uzumaki scoffed.
"You're one of the most capable people I know, you can do anything." Sasuke smiled before asking his friend a question.
"What about you?" Naruto scratched his check.
"Well my parents left my two letters that caused me to blubber like a baby, a hand knit scarf by my Okaa-Chan and a Kunai my Otou-San spent a little more than half his life perfecting, along with a photo album which is frankly beautiful." the whiskered faced Jonin chuckled. "Now enough chit chat; Let's get to work!" the blonde Jonin with red highlights exclaimed.
As afternoon rolled around both Naruto and Sasuke laid on the grass in exhaustion. "Earth... Mastered." Naruto called out and Sasuke groaned, blood falling from his nose and ears.
"Naruto-NiiChan! Sasuke-NiiChan!" a familiar voice called out and both boys grunted, forcing themselves onto their ass seeing a group of four children.
"Ready to teach some kids?" Naruto asked and Sasuke shook his head before standing up.
"Niichan we match!" the thirds grandson exclaimed as he pointed at the blonde Uzumaki's green scarf. "And that necklace looks super cool! It kinda looks like the Fourth Hokage's Kunai! Maybe I should get one, so we can match even more." Konohamaru smirked at his teacher and big brother figure who laughed and nodded in agreement.
An hour later the Jonin duo finished teaching the three out of the four ninja in training to tree and water walk while he had Hanabi practice the chakra exercises with her hands.
After they finished the lesson, the Uzumaki and Uchiha along with Koyrai began learning to mold Water chakra until the afternoon become night.
As Naruto and Koyrai entered their apartment only to see it filled with about a dozen clones all with several scrolls or books in their laps with two dozen boxes. "I'm not dealing with this." Naruto muttered and grabbed Koyrai off the ground and walked towards his mattress and passed out a second later.
As Naruto woke up the next morning the number of clones almost doubled. "Nope." the blonde muttered as he left his now packed apartment with Koyrai on his heels.
As he and his personal summons stood met with Sasuke for the third day in the row. "I want to increase the number of Clones we summon, we could be deployed any minute and I won't be able to do this kinda training without you." The whiskered face Uzumaki gave a nod and unwrapped the orange bandaging around his right arm, revealing a heavily scared forearm littered with thousands of bite marks layered across one another.
Sasuke sank his teeth into the forearm and crossed his fingers, a moment later four hundred clones appeared behind him, Naruto followed in his footsteps not even a second later.
"Yetta!! I did it! I did it!! I did it before you Tou-San! Sasuke-Ojisan!" Naruto ruffled his head and he yipped at the touch.
"Of course you did Koyrai-Kun, Water release is one of your chakra Natures, of course it would come easier for you." The red Coyote huffed, causing both Jonin to laugh.
Several hours later both boy's finished their Water Nature training just in time for their students to arrive.
"Nar-" Sasuke held his hand and the four children stopped in front of him. He gave each of them a chakra sheet which confused them greatly.
"Channel some chakra through the paper." the Uchiha instructed and with some hesitation each of them did as instructed.
Hanabi's paper crumpled in her hand, Konohamaru's turned to ash, Ise's became damp in his hand, and finally Moegi matched Ise's before turning to dust.
"Okay, raise your hand if you know what a Chakra Nature is?" Sasuke asked and Konohamaru raised his hand along with Hanabi.
Sasuke rolled his eyes before pointing to Hanabi, "A chakra nature is what your chakra naturally aligns with an element, if mastered any Jutsu with that nature becomes easier to use, it also acts as a chakra control exercise." Both Jonin nodded. "But I don't understand why you had us discover our nature's, none of us have enough chakra to train them properly if at all." The tanned skinned Hyuga tilted her head in confusion only to receive smirks in return from the two Jonin.
After several long hours of teaching the four kids who had quickly mastered their nature affinity with little trouble thanks to Naruto's healing chakra and both Jonin's wonderful teaching they all separated for the day.
The Uzumaki Clan head looked towards his now filled to the brim apartment of clones and sighed.
Sakura wanted more than anything to train with her two teammates but she realized that she would simply hold them both back. They needed to train which they couldn't if they were busy with her.
She had hoped Kakashi-Sensei would continue her training but he was immediately sent on a mission and then sent on another ever since Konoha Crush; every Jonin was, except for Naruto and Sasuke which she knew would change soon.
The pink haired Genin decided to simply stay out of their way and focus on her own training.
"Knock, Knock!" The pinkette heard a banging as she practiced her Taijutsu in the open area of her living room.
She sighed and walked towards the door and opened it, revealing her raven haired teammate who stood against the night sky much to her surprise and delight. "Sasuke-Kun! Hi! Hey! Hello!" she waved before putting her hand down and held them behind her back. "Wh.. what are you doing here?" Sasuke smirked at the emerald eyed Genin behavior before it melted off his face.
"I need to talk to you, can I come in?" Sakura nodded and stepped aside for the Jonin to enter and guided her to her couch.
A moment later the both of them sat side by side and awkwardness seemed to surround the two. "I like you Sakura." The last loyal Uchiha stated and the only Genin on team seven jaw dropped. "I think your beautiful, smart, resourceful and I want to be with you." the girl's face began redding and Sasuke could almost imagine steam coming out of her ears. "The thing is I've become the Uchiha Clan Head and to make it official I need to get married in the next six months and have an heir in the next four." the blush disappeared from her face and it was soon replaced with horror. "Would you like to marry me?" he asked simply as his coal eyes stared deeply in her pure green eyes.
"I...i.. I love you Sasuke-Kun," she started and with more hestaintion then she thought she could ever feel for the boy she had a crush on since they first started the academy, she answered. "bu.. but-" Sasuke raised his hand and stood up.
"I understand, don't worry. See you later." Sasuke simply stated and quickly left and as the door shut behind him a river of tears left her eyes.
The next morning the Jonin duo practiced their final chakra nature training, increasing their shadow clones to over six hundred, finishing their training by the time their students came.
None of them could look Naruto in the eye which he found funny, especially the blushes that seem to glow hotter on Hanabi and Moegi's faces.
"Who here knows the importance of Chakra control?" the Uzumaki Jonin asked.
"It helps you to not waste chakra on Jutsu's... right?" Moegi questioned with a confused expression.
"Yes but that is not everything; Chakra control is basically how fast your internal energy circulates through your chakra system and the faster it circulates the stronger, more durable, and faster you become. Imagine if you're a civilian with absolutely no training; if you master tree walking your immediately low Genin level, water walking your mid Genin level, master one chakra nature your high Genin level and I think you see where I'm going with this." Naruto smirked at the awed faces he received. "Now Hanabi, how long did it take you to learn tree and water walking?"
The Hyuga blinked. "About a month." The three other ninjas-in-training looked at the girl in surprise.
"Yeah, it's really hard if you don't know what you're doing and even with a teacher that doesn't really help all that much, so you must be wondering how the three of you didn't have any trouble with the exercises, right?" the Konohamaru corps nodded. "That's because I taught you how to suppress your chakra first, how to feel and properly control it before outwardly training it which cut your training time by a large margin." he looked towards the small Hyuga once more who looked away from his stare.
"Now tell me Hanabi-Chan, once you learned to suppress your chakra, tree and water walking became a lot easier didn't it?" the girl nodded with a pout. "Now how long do you think it takes the average Jonin to train their chakra nature affinity?'' None of their students raised their hand.
"About two years," the young children's eyes widened at the information. "Of course training any nature outside their affinity takes another five." Konohamaru swallowed how long it took for an average Ninja to progress. "You all took a afternoon to learn mostly because we were guiding you and supplying, for all intents and purposes an infinite supply of chakra.'' Everyone's respect for the two Jonin sky rocketed.
"But!" Naruto continued. "Just because chakra control is important to any compantient ninja doesn't mean it's the only important thing. Taijutsu, Shurikenjutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, teamwork, and strategy are all equally, maybe even more important aspects of this life then the amount of control you have over your chakra." the four children nodded. "Take Rock Lee, my opponent in the Chunin exams; he can't perform any Ninjutsu or Genjutsu and can barely water walk but he was clearly a Jonin level fighter wasn't he?" he asked an obvious question, a moment later Hanabi raised her hand and Naruto nodded at her.
"So let's say someone is a High Jonin level fighter and only knows how to tree and water walk will learning everything else make them a Mid Kage level fighter?" Sasuke scoffed.
"No, the difference between a Low Kage and Mid Kage is like night and day, the amount of effort needed to improve once you reach that level is astronomical, it's like every step from Low Genin to High Jonin tripled." All four students gulped at how intense the Uchiha sounded.
"Now, Sasuke and I won't be able to teach you for much longer, which is why, " the two took out two scrolls each and tossed them to their respective students. "these scrolls will take our place, they have all the information you were going to get at the academy and when either or both of us are back in the village we will test you on your knowledge and maybe sprinkle in a few hands-on lessons." the four groaned in disappointment. "We expect you to continue training with each other and help each other." Naruto stated before continuing.
"Of course for your final lesson we will duel with each other to show you what high level Jonin looks like." all four of the ninja-to-be faces twisted in excitement.
Naruto and Sasuke faced each other and made the seal of confrontation and leaped away from each other.
Sasuke made a single tiger handseal and a large explosion of yellow fire bursted from his mouth, resembling The Great Fireball Jutsu which was met easily by Naruto's Foxfire, creating a barrier which grew and wrapped around the explosion of heat and rushed towards the Uchiha who stopped his own Jutsu and leaped away.
The ravenette reached at his side and grabbed twelve Kunai, two in-between each fold of his hands, he channeled lightning chakra through his throwing weapon and activated his Sharingan.
As he flinged them towards the blonde he quickly folded his hands into a second tiger handseal and a dozen fireballs encompassed the Kunai, Naruto dodged the first deadly weapon but the rest followed him.
Naruto flipped over a second speeding Kunai and created a Shadow Clone that overlapped his feet and overloaded his feet with chakra and rocketed the clone into two of the Kunai.
As the original Uzumaki flew further up into the air he saw a stream of fire speeding towards him and barely twisted around the column, only for three Kunai to embed themselves into him, electrifying and burning him all at once.
Naruto saw seven more of those deadly weapons follow him and belched a wave of blue Foxfire which burned them to dust.
As he flew back towards earth he saw Sasuke nowhere to be seen and crossed his fingers creating a bed of Shadow Clones beneath him that were summoned with as much smoke as possible. As the clones cushioned Naruto's fall and created a thick smoke screen which he knew Sasuke could not see through and quickly removed the Kunai out of his person.
A moment later the smoke caught on familiar black fire?! "What?!" the blonde with red highlights exclaimed in shock while the dome of smoke was literally burned away and he was revealed and then kicked in the stomach with the aid of overloaded chakra and what he assumed was crazy amount of natural strength thanks to their chakra nature training, as he cleared the entire training field and then some.
Naruto managed to land on his feet and take a deep breath, he knew that now Sasuke was using the Mangekyou Sharingan he was in a league of his own but he did have something that could rocket him into playing in the same ballpark.
Naruto quickly suppressed his chakra and then transformed it into his Light release within moments and felt his wound heal as if he was never injured in the first place.
The Uzumaki Clan Head almost seemed to glide as he ran back to the training ground, Sasuke was still nowhere to be found but much to his surprise he could feel a pool of heat standing a couple dozen yards in front of him. 'Heat sensing; note to self, train that.'
Naruto leaped into the air, clearing almost a hundred feet, he then crossed his finger creating a Light Clone that overlapped his feet which he promptly overloaded which rocketed him towards the Uchiha who barely had any time to respond as he leaped away, only for the ground to cave around Naruto's fist. 'Oh no..'
The Uchiha ducked under a left arm swipe towards his head and tried to pierce Naruto in the stomach with his Katana only for the blonde to twist and avoid it. 'Might as well cancel Transparent Escape Jutsu and conserve some more chakra.'
Sasuke reappeared and sliced a arc of fire at his fellow Jonin who back flipped over it which made his pure light clone tank it but to much of his surprise it remained present and tried to punch him which he easily dodged and diagonally cut the Clone in half, lightning sparking off the metal, it reached halfway before stopping and exploded in a blind light that resembled the sun, blinding him.
As the last loyal Uchiha struggled to regain his bearing he felt a right hook across his left check, which was followed by a harsh elbow and then a roundhouse kick, which was then followed by a backwards right roundhouse heel kick forcing him off his feet and skipping across the ground several dozen times.
Sasuke barely managed to land on his feet, his jaw dislocated and broken. The Uchiha blinked for half a minute before his sight came back, he focused his Lighting nature through his eyes and then crossed his fingers making a single clone of himself before the ravenette made a tiger handseal, vanishing and reappearing a few feet away from Naruto and with little concentration on his left eyes sent the flames of Amaterasu towards the arms already in front of him.
Naruto noticed what Sasuke was doing was too slow to dodge but fast enough to raise his forearms in slight protection. "AGHHH!!!" the blonde Jonin screamed and the Uchiha gave a sigh at winning the spar.
[You-] Kurama began but Naruto mentally shook his head. 'No! I know what to do!' the blonde with red highlights took a breath and concentrated his chakra at his forearms and pushed it out right beneath the flames, causing instant relief and shook the excess chakra off him before the black fire could eat it, revealing bare, horribly burned arms that healed to almost perfection after two seconds.
"Ho-" Naruto smirked at his friend.
"You think after seeing you burn trees to dust with a simple glare that I wouldn't try and think of a way to counter it?" the blonde jokingly asked the slightly older Jonin whose eyes began bleeding which worried the Uzumaki greatly. "Are you-"
Sasuke rushed towards his rival and the two traded blows, neither of them landing anything substantial until the last loyal Uchiha leapt in the air and focused on his left eye once more, except he casted Amaterasu on his entire being and as Naruto tried to push it off him while using his chakra, the Lighting release: Exploding Shadow Clone Sasuke made appeared and denoted.
As Naruto lay on the ground barely breathing and burnt beyond belief but already healing, the Uchiha Jonin appeared above his form and pierced his body with his katana and flowed his lightning chakra through it.
"Aghh!! Alrightyouwin!" Naruto called out and Sasuke stopped channeling his chakra and pulled his sword out causing Naruto to grunt in agony.
About a minute later the blonde Jonin was healed and completely naked, which he didn't seem to notice or care about as he stood up. "Once I properly master my Light release, I will have my revenge." he swore to the Uchiha he simply smirked.
Both of them turned, seeing their four students about several dozen feet away looking at them like Kami's. Koyrai simply yawned as if he had seen this a hundred times before.
Both Hanabi and Moegi had atomic blushes and tried desperately to not look at Naruto but failed all the same.
"And... that's the level you will need to work towards." Naruto told the four with his hands proudly laid on his hips.
Naruto looked towards the newly rebuilt Ichiraku ramen shop and looked around the street, seeing many more people than a week ago. [Looks like the Senju is doing a decent job.] Kurama muttered.
Naruto hummed in distaste and walked into the small restaurant and saw Karin who was wearing her usual brown short sleeved jacket with an orange strip, a mesh shirt clearly seen underneath along with a purple skirt, with mesh leggings and black shinobi sandals.
"Hey Naruto-Kun." She greeted me with a happy smile and a small blush.
"Hey, Karin-Chan." He jumped onto the stool and turned into the counter. "So how's the week treating you?" he asked with curiosity, trying to act as normal as possible.
"Great! I talked with Hokage-Sama and he granted me citizenship under a one year probation; I can't really do anything more than D-rank for the next three months but after that I'm basically an average Genin." Naruto nodded with an honest smile. "Right now I'm living in a shelter, like seventy percent of the rest of the village and that won't change for a while but it isn't so bad." she shrugged, causing Naruto to frown.
"Um.. I've become the Uzumaki Clan head,"Karin's face twisted in surprise, which caused Naruto to panic. "In a few months the compound should be finished and.. you can live there." he swallowed nervously.
Karin gave a small smile and nodded, "Thanks." Naruto shrugged with his own smile.
"What's... uh family for." Karin's small smile turned even bigger.
"You know we're not really family, we come from the same Clan but we're probably only fourth or fifth cousins barely even related." she stated and Naruto scoffed.
"Were family Karin-Chan." The blonde Jonim uttered firmly and after a moment she nodded.
"You know you saved me during the Konoha Crush." she stated and Naruto looked confused before a look of horror encompassed his face.
"So you saw-"
"Yep." Naruto swallowed and looked away from the girl until he felt a soft, feminine hand take a hold of his chin and turn his head to face the beautiful Genin. "I thought you looked very heroic." Naruto swallowed her words feeling incredibly warm.
[I like this girl.] Kurama stated with a feral smile.
"Thanks." She nodded and after a moment they ordered Ramen.
Tenten silently laid across her bed with tears in her eyes. 'I.. I can't believe Naruto and I had such a big fight.' she repeated in her head for the thousandth time in her head. 'AGH! What's wrong with me?! Everything was going so well until I opened my big mouth!' the brunette twisted and turned in her bed and a scowl crossed her face.
'Bu.. but.. We've only been going out for a month!Really a few days, if you only count the number of times we've seen each other! It's not like I don't love him but he was talking about the rest of our lives and we're barely in our teen's,!' she angrily retorted to herself but her anger soon left her.' tears leaked from her eyes and a sob almost escaped her throat.
"He.. he was so angry." she muttered to herself. 'Murderous really but why wouldn't he, I keep hurting him! First when I abandoned him when I learned the Ky- Kurama was sealed in him and now I break his heart again because I can't commit to someone I know I love since I was a little girl!' Tenten face transformed into determination. 'I have to apologize, I love him and I want to be with him for as long as possible an... and maybe that will be for the rest of our lives.' She sat up and wiped away her tears. 'Look at me! giving up before I even started!'
She jumped out of bed and got dressed and walked right past her parents who looked at her with worry.
Naruto laid against his couch, rubbed his aching head, an enormous migraine thumping against his brain like a drum.
'Fuinjutsu is so fucking complicated! There are so many different meanings for a squiggly line! Why?!' he complained to himself and the Bijuu in his stomach.
[You are preaching to the choir Kit.] Kurama muttered as he scratched behind his ear which Naruto mimicked subconsciously.
It had been hours since his clones decided to dismiss themselves after reading everything the Uzumaki's had to offer and Naruto swore that if he ever needed his shadow clones to pull a long study session then he would order them to wait until he personally ordered them to dispel.
"KNOCK!KNOCK!KNOCK!" "Naruto-Kun please open the door!" the familiar voice of Tenten called behind his crappy apartment door.
The Uzumaki Jonin pushed himself up in surprise and looked at the entrance to his home. "Please Naruto-Kun!" he could hear the pain in her voice and with extreme worry from both Kurama and Naruto, he leaped off the couch and swung the door off its hinges.
"Tente- '' the blonde with red highlights was interrupted as he was pulled into a smoldering kiss.
With little thought or hesitation returned the favor with equal vigor. It felt like eternity passed when they separated, " I will marry you." Naruto felt surprise enter him before an inescapable warmth wrapped his heart that Kurama could physically feel and appreciate.
He and Naruto melded slightly, as their mutual emotions combined, the Bijuu's power leaking into the Uzumaki's Clan Head but instead of his eyes turning a pointed red like usual, it became a deep, powerful orange.
"[We love you so much.]" Tenten blinked but instead of feeling frightened she simply smiled and pulled them into a deep kiss which was equally returned.
As the two separated, Narama began kissing her neck sporadically. "[We're.]" he kissed the side of her lips. "[So.]" a moment later he lightly pecked the underside of her jaw. "[Sorry.]" she moaned as the Bijuu, human hybrid, suckled at her Jugular.
"I'm sorry too, I never wanted to hurt you, either of you.'' She muttered with closed eyes before they snapped open as she felt a calloused hand grab her ass and lifted her up off the ground and led her to the couch and laid her on her back with him on top of her.
Narama felt himself hardened and began to slowly dry humped against the tanned skinned girl's core, stimulating both of them and before long their mouths melded together. "Do..don't stop." Tenten muttered and feeling something bubble at her womanly center.
"Tenten," the blonde moaned beside her ear. "Tenten..Tententen..ten-" He moaned over and over again and nibbled at her ear, slightly licking it causing her to gasp in surprise.
Narama began moving his hands away from the newly promoted Chunin's ass and slid them upwards, under her shirt feeling her smooth, blemish free skin and as his hands pass over her the bump of hermodest breast and lightly pressed against her unseen nipples, he could feel her convulsed under him for a brief moment and his pants become wet from her organism.
Tenten was breathing heavily, tired beyond belief but Narama was ready to continue into the long night, his hips still pressed against her wet and satisfied, covered slit. "Naruto-Kun.. Kurama.. can we stop, it's starting to get sore." she muttered slightly into his neck and the hybrid stopped. "I'm so-"
Narama silenced herself with a kiss and moved behind her. resting their chin against her shoulder. "[I love you Tenten-Chan.]" the tan brunette blushed at his soft voice full of clear meaning.
"I love you too." she quickly answered back. "Do.. do you think I can talk to just Kurama for a second?" After a moment of silence she heard a deep, rumbling voice. that sounded completely unhuman to her ears.. yet she could still hear Naruto underneath it all.
"I..I don't know what to sa-'' Kurama was quickly interrupted when Tenten twisted in his arms and intertwined their lips.
The Fox in human form quickly reciprocated but after only a few seconds Tenten pulled away and lightly touched her lips. "It's weird, it's the same lips but you two kiss completely different." she stated, Kurama for the first time since his creation blushed in embarrassment. "You kiss rougher."
"I just want to point out that I don't usually have lips and you're the first human I ever kissed!" The Kitsune tried to defend himself causing the teen to giggle slightly before sighing and laying her head against his chest.
"Is it weird I don't find this more disturbing? I mean your.. an immortal Bijuu that destroyed my Village, killed my boyfriend's parents. I should hate you! I did hate you! But now all I think about is when you and Naruto defended our Village against the resurrected Fourth Hokage, how you had a chance to be free but chose to stay with Naruto-Kun, how you basically raised him to be the great man he is now." Kurama blush continued to spread with every word.
"If it helps, I was mind controlled to destroy the Village." Tenten looked at the red eyes of Naruto in surprise and after a moment nodded.
"It does." Kurama sighed.
"Why are you in love with me? I.. I didn't think-" Kurama interrupted her.
"Naruto removed the seal that kept us separated, without it we began to feel each other's feelings, experience them." he explained and Tenten felt herself nod against his chest.
"So... it's not real? You don't really love me?" She asked with hesitance.
"I feel the love Naruto has for you and that love has taught me how to feel it too, feel all gross human emotions that require sexual organs, so I do love you, it just started out fake." Kurama told the girl.
"Weird." she muttered and Kurama laughed and nodded in agreement. "Well, If it's a package deal, than... do you want to go on a date tomorrow?" she asked and with no hestaintion the Kitsune nodded.
After a moment he asked a question he and Naruto had been wondering about. "So, how was your meeting with the bitch?" Tenten sighed.
"She immediately kicked me out before I could finish asking her." Kurama hummed, figuring as much as he rubbed circles around her back.
"Is.. is it weird that I'm going on a date with Kurama?" Tenten asked Naruto who simply held onto her midsection as they laid on the couch.
"I.. I honestly don't know, I mean Kurama and I, were partners but we were always.. separate. Lately we feel more connected, less like a we and more like a I. I don't know what that will mean for the future but.. I can feel his love for you, you make him happy as much as you make me happy, so as long as you have genuine feelings for him then I don't really see a problem." Tenten hummed and leaned into his chest. "Of course dating an anthropomorphic, ancient Kitsune could say something weird about you." he muttered in her ear.
"Hey!" [Hey!] Tenten and Kurama both exclaimed angrily, causing Naruto to chuckle.
Kurama under a small Henge to make his eyes look blue walked around the Village, hand in hand with Tenten. "is it weird walking on two legs?" she asked and he shook his head.
"It's," he tried making his voice higher and more Naruto-like. "Doesn't feel odd at all, this body has been walking on two legs for all It's life, it feels natural." she nodded. "What does feel weird is walking around Konohagakure, there was a time where I could never imagine myself feeling comfortable enough near humans to live beside them, to love them but I do. Naruto has taught me so much, taught me to let go of my anger, to look past others flaws, to see humanity for what it could be, not for what it is." Tenten smiled, happiness brimming from her body.
"If there's one thing we have in common is that we both love Naruto." she stated as she squeezed his hand and laid her head on his shoulder.
It was a couple hours after Kurama and Tenten finished their date, after they finished, he gave control back to Naruto and they talked for a moment. "So.. what's it like not being in control of your body?" she asked as she petted Koyrai who laid across her lap.
"It was... kinda cool." he admitted as he wrapped his arm around her tanned shoulder. "I could see, hear, feel everything but it wasn't like a movie or anything, it was like I was both in my subconscious room and with you. It was freaky." the blonde Uzumaki tried explaining and the girl laying across his arm giggled at how far away his voice sounded.
"So how are we going to tell my parents?" she questioned and Naruto sighed.
"Well you're only two years from the proper marrying age and your parents seem to like me, thank Kami." he pressed his palms together and looked up in the sky with a revealed look causing his girlfriend to laugh. "And well Jiraiya did say I could announce my parentage and I'm the current Uzumaki Clan Head.. which literally means nothing in the face of established Clans like the Hyuga's, Nara's, and Inuzuka's but it still sounds cool." Tenten kissed his cheek.
"I don't think my parents will care if you're the Fourth's son or not, they won't care if you're a Head of a Clan, as long as I'm happy I think they'll be okay with it and I'm happy." Naruto smiled at the shorter girl. "And I'm a Ninja, so even if they say no, all that matters is that I say yes, and I say yes." Naruto leaned down and captured her lips.
As they separated they heard a knock at the door and the Uzumaki sighed and got up to open the door which revealed Sasuke carrying a suitcase in each hand and a backpack. "Oh! Right!" the ravenette raised an eyebrow at the blonde and shook his head as he walked in.
"Ojisan!" Koyrai leaped up from Tenten's lap and jumped into Sasuke's arms.
"Hey buddy." The young Jonin walked past Naruto and sat on the far end of the couch dropping his suitcases and his backpack on the way there. "How are you Tenten-San, I see you and Naruto are back together and probably engaged, congratulations." The double bun haired girl blushed slightly.
"Tha- you told him we broke up!" she turned towards her boyfriend with an angry frown who looked surprised at her and began panicking, not wanting another fight so soon.
"So who are you marrying?!" Naruto asked with a high pitched voice, surprising Tenten before she realized he probably qualified for Clan Head as well.
"Asked Sakura, she said no." Naruto winced. "After that I realized I didn't have feelings for anyone else, so I asked Jiraiya-San to arrange a marriage for me." he plainly said.
All three inhabitants of the room stared at the raven haired teen in surprise at how well he handled being rejected and practically forced to marry a stranger.
Naruto stood in front of Kumaneko's Weapon's shop during closing hours wearing a dark orange Nagagi with a pale tangerine haori which had his Clan's crest on the back and sides with a black hakama with traditional tabi socks and Setta sandals. [ Ready?]
'Now you ask me?'he jokingly asked before taking a breath and knocked against the door, it wasn't even a second later that it opened revealing the petite figure of his technical finance who was wearing a white Kimono with a red slash and Geta that rose her up an inch or so, her hair was styled into a single bun held onto of her head and she had a red blush painted across her faced with blue eyeliner.
"[You look beautiful.]" Naruto's eyes transformed ruby red for a moment before they returned to normal.
"And you look incredibly dignified.'' The brunette stated with a low voice and quickly pecked him on the lips before leading him inside.
They walked past the counter and entered the main house. It took only a moment before they entered the kitchen where both parents were kneeling on one side of the table.
They were both wearing matching blue formal wear as well, the two parents looked at the young Uzumaki in his high-end outfit which they both knew only should be worn by Clan Heads, Lords or really anyone in a high enough station. "Naruto-San.. my daughter has told me you two-" Tenten's father; Rain began only for his wife to interrupt him and with a ugly scowl.
"You got our daughter pregnant didn't you?!" she exclaimed, her anger palpable as she stared at the blonde whose eyes blew open at the accusation.
"No! No, we haven't had sex yet!" the blonde honestly told; Sakuru and Rain.
"Yet!?" Sskuru angrily asked and both teen's winched.
[Just rip it off! If you try to cushion the blow you'll say something to anger them more.] Naruto swallowed and internally nodded at the advice.
"I've been made Clan Head of the Uzumaki's and I've come to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage!" He exclaimed and dropped into a Dogeza.
"I.. Wh- n" Tenten immediately went to her father's side.
"Tou-Chan, Kaa-Chan please, I love Naruto-Kun and I'm only two years off from normal marrying age anyway.. and... and I'm a ninja, a adult in the Village and Nations eyes." She tried convincing her parents who looked in between the bowing Naruto and their pleading daughter.
"Tenten-Chan you're.. baby.." Rain tried to find the words but his wife beat him to it.
"No! Absolutely not! You're only fourteen years old! You're too young and we won't allow it!" Sākuru said with no room for argument.
"Bu-" Tenten tried to convince her but was immediately talked over.
"No Tenten!" she repeated louder and Tenten sighed.
"I love your daughter more than life itself, please reconsider!" he asked, his forehead to the floor.
"Why must you get married now, can't you wait to ask until she is the proper marrying age?" Rain asked the blonde, red tipped Uzumaki.
[Don't tell them the truth!] Kurama roared.
'Then what the fuck I'm I supposed to say?!' he internally screamed back only to receive silence.
"Well, um... it's a requirement to become Clan Head." Naruto hesitantly said and he then heard a scream of rage and disbelief.
"So your just using our daughter?!" the woman slammed her hands against the dining table, her hand clasped around a nearby knife.
"No! Not at all, I love Te-"
"How can you know what love is?! You've been alone your entire life, no Okaa, Otou! How can you even begin to imagine the depth of Love!?" Sakuru exclaimed and Naruto winced at the insult.
"Kaa-San!" Tenten yelled in horror and anger.
"No, Tenten! Neither of you know what Love is! you're both way too young to even consider marriage!" Tenten sniffed and tears streamed down her face and looked towards her father.
"Tou-Chan please." she begged the man who looked at the continuing Dogza bowing teen, his crying daughter, and then to his furious wife.
"Baby.. I'm.. I'm sorry." Rain told his baby girl who took a step away from him and walked towards her bowing fiance.
"I'm so... sorry K..kaa-San, T..tou-San bu...but like I sai..said I'm a Ni..ninja, a adult and I do... don't re..really n.. need you..your per... permiss... permission.'' She struggled to get through the sentence and Naruto lifted himself from his position in worry.
"Tenten-Chan, let me just-" The tan skinned Chunin shook her head and the Uzumaki sighed and hung his head.
"Tenten!" Sakuru called out but they ignored the woman who forced herself up.
"Baby,please!" Rain got up from his sitting position.
"No!" Tenten screamed, surprising both adults. "I'm marrying Naruto in the next six months, so either be supportive or... or I'm not your daughter anymore!" After several moments of silence the mocha eyed girl scoffed and left with Uzumaki Clan Head.
Naruto laid next to Tenten, her back towards him feeling the moonlight on his skin and Koyrai laying between his legs. A moment later he felt rustling and his fiance turned towards him, laying her head on his chest. "I love you." he muttered quietly, kissing the crown of her head.
"I love you too." He felt her lips stretched across his shoulder and Naruto copied the action.
Sasuke stood silent in front of his Hokage who read a scroll in front of him. "Well after receiving... significant," Jiraiya shivered at the memories. "offers, I have chosen your wife." Sasuke nodded with a blank face. "Keeping in mind your age, skill level, and overall personality, I have arranged for you to marry Sarutobi Tabun-ai, the second born to the current Clan Head, she turned sixteen three weeks ago and has held the rank of Chunin of a year." Jiraiya showed him a picture of the older girl who had caramel hair that was the length of her shoulders and chocolate eyes. Her skin was tanned, almost bronze but not quite there but she, like most Kunoichi, had no blemishes and had modest, maybe above average breasts.
Sasuke on a adjective level knew she would be called attractive but he felt nothing, not like the spark he had with Sakura but he knew it didn't matter, he didn't have to love his wife, like he found out his Otou-San didn't either from his journal, when the time came he could simply perform a artificial insemination and be done with it like his parents did.
"The Sarutobi Clan Head asks for a Dowry of five hundred thousand Ryo." Sasuke didn't even flinch at the amount of money and nodded in agreement.
"Great." the coal eyed man with wild white hair. "I'll take the funds from the Uchiha Clan account, sign this." He slid a marriage license document which the ravenette did. " I'll have the Sarutobi Clan Head to sign and you'll be officially married. Be prepared to deploy sometime this week, you're dismissed." the ravenette bowed.
Naruto and Sasuke sat across from one another in team seven's training ground with their legs crossed and about three hundred shadow clones behind the both of them.
The blonde had told his fellow Jonin about his idea on increasing his chakra circulation and the last loyal Uchiha immediately agreed to the idea.
They had both commanded the Clones to dispel when they had even made the smallest amount of progress and when the sky turned orange only about ten had sped their chakra even a little.
After, the two sparred trying to incorporate new fighting techniques they had observed in their Clan's scrolls which was difficult for the two; The Clan Head Uchiha's Taijutsu style became much more violent and but also passive, it which was less about causing direct damage but countering attacks violently and efficiently.
The Uzumaki's Clan Taijutsu style was less about momentum, instead the entire purpose was adding damage slowly but surely at specific parts of the enemies bodies, it didn't mold well at all with Asura's Taijutsu but it did give him an idea for a Ninjutsu to increase it's proficiency when he was using Light release, like WindSwipe which made his usually Taijutsu style much deadlier.
Of course he would have to actually learn the style first before trying to make the Light release Ninjutsu.
"So, where do we start?" Tenten asked with confusion written over her face. "I.. I have no idea how to plan a wedding."
Naruto opened his mouth and closed it, after a few moments of silence both of them hanged their heads before they heard a slight scrape and looked up to see Sasuke sitting in the middle. "First you don't need a marriage ceremony, just go to Jiraiya, tell him you found someone who agreed to be your wife, he'll draw up some documents and it'll be done." Both teens looked at each other in surprise.
"I.. I want a marriage ceremony." Naruto said and Tenten internally agreed, happy that her partner wanted the same thing as her. "I mean," he looked at the dark haired brunette. "I love you, we only have one shot at this and I want it to be amazing because that's what you deserve but if-" Tenten immediately shuts him up with a kiss which he gladly returns.
As they separated the Weapon's Mistress peppered him with kisses before looking him deep in his eyes, "I want a ceremony." Naruto nodded.
Sasuke rolled his eyes at the two, his face never changing. "Great. So you still need Jiraiya to draw up the documents but if you want to do the ceremony first then that can't wait until after your wedding; You need to hire a shinshoku, book a venue, make and send out invitations, get a band, get a dress and suit that properly represents your standing together and what marriage means to you which focuses on the bride than the groom, write vows, and while you can either exchange cups of Sake which means your," Sasuke coughed with slight uncomfortableness, "two families becoming one or a new tradition that has become more prominent in recent years of exchanging rings to represent your commitment and faith to each other." Naruto and Tenten both nodded at his explanation.
"Can you explain why the dress is important?" Tenten asked and Sasuke sighed.
"The dress is important because it will represent the kind of wife she promises to be; a white Kimono which means how pure you are along with a white headdress which means you will be gentle and obedient to your husband." Naruto's face scrunched up and looked at Tenten who had a look of disgust.
"I can see by your faces how much neither of you like what that dress means and that's fine, figure out what both of you want to be in this marriage, translate that into colors and then get the appropriate clothes." The Uchiha said and stood up and went back to his couch.
After a minute of independent thinking Naruto turned towards Tenten, "I want to do the rings." the double bun haired Chunin nodded in agreement.
Around two days later while Naruto, Tenten, Sasuke, and Koyrai were sound asleep when an A.N.B.U appeared in the middle of their apartment. "Jonin Uzumaki Naruto, Uch-" before the Elite ninja was thrown onto the ground his neck stepped on and a sword aimed at their heart.
"Oh shit." Naruto groggy said as he stepped off the taller Ninja neck and Sasuke resealed his katana. "Sorry, I'm guessing Jiraiya is finally sending us out right?" he asked, already knowing the question. "Well be there in a minute." The A.N.B.U stood up and after a second of awkward silence made a tiger handseal and disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
Naruto looked towards the tired and barely alert Tenten who had an adorable look of confusion. The blonde Uzumaki Clan Head walked towards her and surprised with a kiss. As he pulled away he whispered in her ear."I'm being assigned a mission, love you."
"Hey! Lover boy, let's go." Sasuke called out fully dressed with a large backpack slung on his shoulder and another grasped it in his hand and threw it to the blonde who caught it who looked surprised. "I put the Uzumaki Clan scroll in the bottom."
"How did you get dressed so quickly?" Sasuke smirked.
"I'm just that good." Naruto rolled his eyes and Tenten giggled.
