Okay, so now we're gonna see the aftermath of what happened the other chapter, which involves the canine mother they encountered and then what they would do to the canine and her pups next, and also a small talk between two former louds who are both doing their best to show everyone that they have changed. "Still changing and caring."
(Great Lakes City.)
We're now at Great Lakes City, and this is where Lincoln, Luna and Loona are going to. Why are they here? Well, they wanna check on the mother dog, and her pups and see how things have been doing since they dropped them off here.
But why did they bring them here and not back in Royal Woods? Well, the animal clinic was closed, due to a much needed vacation, and so they brought the mother dog and her pups to the one person who is an expert at animals and tending to their medical needs, Rebecca Chang, the zookeeper.
They walk up the stairs of the apartment, and with Ronnie Anne leading them. "So, were there any complications when the mother dog and her pups came to the place and stayed?" asked Lincoln.
"Well, no problems at all" replied Ronnie Anne. "But Lalo has been very protective, he always went over to see if the mother dog was doing alright and same with the pups. Something tells me that Lalo is acting all fatherly and might have a crush on the mother dog."
This makes Loona chuckle. "Well, chances that she might become part of the Casagrandes family. This whole apartment seems more focused on being a dog friendly place, with one bird and several other random animals wandering around. Let's go and see how she's doing."
They go to the door and knock and they see Sid answer it. "Hey guys! Come on!" They follow the K-Pop lover and see the mother dog is lying down and drinking a dish of milk and her pups are on the mattress and blanket and with their eyes still closed, they just make small whimper sounds and wander around.
But then they see Lalo, and he picks them up when they stray away and then he puts them back with the others. Even Adelaide and Froggy 2 are helping making sure that they don't wander away. "They are so adorable!" Adelaide then nose kisses one of the pups and it sneezes.
This makes them smile and then Loona takes a picture of this, and they look to the female dog and are surprised. The mother dog is a Great Dane, when they saw her she seemed white all over. "Huh, she's a Great Dane?" asked Loona. "Did not see this coming."
"Same with us." Becca comes out of the room and she goes to the mother dog and she checks her leg. "Turns out, she was dosed in paint and it dried up. So we had to clean her up and now this black beauty is here and looking healthy. She pulled through the night and with Lalo by her side."
They watch as the mother Great Dane steadily goes back to her pups and Lalo, and she lays down so her pups can drink some milk. "She's been respecting the presence of the Casagrandes dog since he showed up and kept her company. I can tell that he likes her, but doesn't know how to show it."
Luna chuckles and looks to Ronnie Anne. "Do you're folks and other family members know about this?"
Ronnie Anne chuckles nervously. "Sorta, but they don't know about the whole thing Lalo here might have. But if they do know, then it's gonna be super-crazy all over the place, and then Abuela won't let the puppies go and have them stay in the apartment."
Sid smiles to the idea. "Yeah, seven puppies going around the apartment and having fun doing who knows what, but mostly try and keep them away from Carl and Sergio. We don't know what they're gonna do to them." she then goes over and pets the mother Great Dane.
Lalo sits close by and watches over them and then Lincoln pets his head. "Good boy, well seems like they're in good hands. But how long till she's fully healed?"
Becca then checks on the injured leg. "Well, from what I checked. Give her a week, and then she'll be all patched up. She'll be around here for a while before we can sort out what to do with this mother and her pups."
Ronnie Anne chuckles and then feels concerned. "Well, there goes the neighborhood. My familia is gonna constantly come over and check on them." Then she has an idea. 'Maybe, we should adopt her and her pups. Lalo seems to like them, and he likes her.'
Lincoln then looks to Sid. "What about the one that didn't make it?"
They all remained silent, and Adelaide hugs Froggy 2, the mother dog then looks away and feels upset that she lost one of her pups the other day when she gave birth to them, Lalo goes to her and he tries to comfort the saddened mother Great Dane. Ronnie Anne seemed upset and so does Becca.
Sid looks to the Silva Hound family. "An angel has gone back to the heavens and the little guy is buried at a Pet Cemetery, and we named him little benny. A shame he can't be here for his 7 other siblings: Chuck, Raf, Donnie, Mike, Dorothy, Charice and Tilly."
The sadness in them stops and they look towards Becca, and she shrugs to them, and then they look to Sid. "You named them?" asked Loona.
Sid nods. "I thought it would be nice, and they need some identity and we already named the mother Great Dane, Bella. It seemed to suite her, and she likes the name too." Sid then pets the head of the mother dog.
Just then, Loona's phone goes off and she sees what it's about. "Delilah has another target for us kids." Lincoln, Luna, and even Ronnie Anne and Sid go over and see what the text message is about.
Client: Rachel Witherspoon, a 25-year old rookie racer who was supposed to begin her start up to show she has potential as her idol, Bobbie Fletcher. But her life was taken from her when she was raped by someone at the pits and then killed. She's in hell for her reckless driving at street racing long ago.
Her body was found dead in the middle of the race track and though she seemed to have been run over, the investigators found out she died from lack of air, or suffocation.
Target: Horace Alvenerwear, the rookie of the pit crew, for Bobbie Fletcher. He's a bit lazy and has little to know knowledge on what to do, and he is obsessed with Bobbie Fletcher. He was attracted to a rookie driver, and so he raped her and to shut her up, he put a pillow on her face, but had no idea she was dead.
Results: Bring this son of a bitch asshole retard to hell! She wants to punish him and make him her personal slave, and if she is bored of him, she'll kill him off and then track down the sinner and send that asshole to the cannibals of hell.
They're surprised by this, and then Loona goes through the numbers in her phone. "We're gonna need backup. I'm calling Bobbie Fletcher."
"Well, looks like it's time to pay a small visit to Lana and her mom" said Lincoln.
Luna chuckles. "You think Bobbie still recalls that day you had sex with her?" This makes Lincoln blush and look away.
Ronnie Anne, Sid and Becca are surprised to hear that, and Becca managed to cover Adelaide's ears. Ronnie Anne is shocked. 'Alright, when Jordan comes here I gotta ask her if she's alright dating someone who lost his virginity to someone. Also, who else did Lincoln get laid with?!'
(Ketcham Park.)
We go to the Park, and we see EveLynn, reading her math book and then she closes it and calms down. 'Alright, EveLynn. Calm down, just calm down. You got this covered, the final test to take is next week this Friday, and I will pass it and advance so I can go to High School.'
'I mean, it would be nice to be in the same school as Lincoln. But I don't want things to be either awkward or complicated, and he might not be at ease with my very presence there, and my friends aren't there either, so the best option I have is to ace summer school and get to High School.'
'I wanna make mom and dad proud, I want Lucy to look up to me. I mean, sure she seems chill with me being around and loves me as a big sister, and she never really showed emotion back then, but now she does. She really misses her family, and now that I am part of the family. She doesn't want me to leave.'
EveLynn chuckles. 'And I can't blame her. Heck, I love this new life and chance for me into a better future, and I don't wanna walk away from a life like this. I wanna be part of this, regain forgiveness and trust and see what else is next for me.'
"EveLynn?" the girl then sees someone she knew once as her former little sister, Lisa Linnaeus and she goes closer to her. "Can I sit next to you?"
EveLynn smiles. "Sure, Lisa. Come on." She scooches away and then Lisa sits next to her. "Are you feeling alright?"
Lisa nods. "I am, and I can't wait to go to school. But, I know it's not gonna be kindergarten and I kissed out on so much fun back then. But, I will do my best to be part of the 1st grade. I feel happy like this and not being some smarty pants girl." Then Lisa asks. "Are you feeling alright, EveLynn?"
EveLynn is surprised Lisa would say that name, which means she was told by her mother to call her that. "Well, I am feeling a bit tense and stressful. I mean, I gotta show everyone that I am not the same EveLynn they all knew and hated, I am the new kind of girl."
"Also, I am proud of you for being able to look forward and try to make something out of what comes next. I know you can handle being in Elementary School, just as I am feeling confident that I can make it through High School, along with my friends."
Lisa smiles and then she recalls something. "Luna, Leni and Luan are gonna be in the high School, and they'll be there to help you too."
EveLynn nods. "Yeah, dang true. I just hope more folks can see that I have changed, I am glad some of the folks in the Park the other day recorded the good deed I did for Darcy. She needed the help."
Lisa then goes over and hugs her. "Well, don't worry EveLynn. Everyone will see that you have changed, and when they see how much you're different, then they won't hate you. Many of the folks don't hate me anymore too."
EveLynn kinda knows and she returns the hug towards Lisa. "Thanks, Lisa. Also, good job in being now not hated by the others in town. A long way to go, just like how I gotta do the same."
As Lisa and EveLynn talk to each other. Millie is watching this and sitting next to her is Caroline Linnaeus. "Looks like Lisa is cheering up, EveLynn" replied Millie.
Caroline smiles. "Yeah, glad she's showing so much after being around back in this town. She wants to show that she can still be a family member to the others. She's also managed to make her friends be her friends again. Because they can see that Lisa has changed and not the boring smarty pants."
Millie smiles. "That's good for her." She then sees her husband Moxxie is speaking with the Young Morticians Club about speeches for future poetry contest, and among them is her daughter, Lucy. She then looks to Caroline. "So, looking forward to when classes begin?"
Caroline sighs. "To be honest, a bit nervous, but I am looking forward and I know I can do this. I mean, this is me going to a middle school and teaching some middle school kids about science and one of them is Lincoln Silva Hound, this is gonna be a bit awkward."
Millie understands what she means. "Hey now, don't feel that way. It's gonna be alright. Lincoln knows to trust you, and pretty much the whole town. Don't let this bring ya down, and just show some courage that you can teach some middle school kids."
Caroline nods. "Yeah, you're right. No time for panic, I gotta be confident." She then watches as Lisa shows EveLynn her yoyo and then EveLynn shows her some moves she know. 'This is for Lisa after all.'
