Five lucky fans of How To Train Your Dragon obtain the chance to physically go to what they thought was merely an animation, a movie: How To Train Your Dragon's universe. The catch? under no circumstances are they allowed to interact with the Berkians, including Hiccup & co, as well as the dragons. A deadly virus has spread across the world, bring with it death and destruction. Turning those who are infected into Snatchers, a mutated human who becomes a mindless slave, whose only purpose is to spread the virus. Trying to get out of Los Angeles, Hiccup and Astrid get separated and have to meet up at their hideout before they can escape. But the plan runs into a few problems.

Hiccup H. Haddock didn't grow up as a Berkian Viking. Cast off to see as a baby, and raised by pirates. When he is found floating and half dead in Berkian waters, he is rescued my Stoic the Vast. Essentially trapped, the young pirate seeks to find a way off the Island, and in this he meets a Nightfury.

Astrid is the head line cook at a restaurant with some classmates from school trying to make some money before graduating. Everything is going fine until there is a change in ownership, and a sarcastic new hire is forced into Astrid's arms. Will this spell disaster for Astrid and the restaurant as a whole? Modern HS/Worklife AU, Rated M for explicit language and dark themes.
